What Allan said made some sense in Sherry's head. This Gale person was wrong and letting him escape would probably be bad. What if he had help?

"I wasn't whining or accusing you of anything." Kyle shot back, bending over to fold up the hem of his jeans lest he accidentally tripped himself up over them while walking around. "I was trying to ascertain if you could remember anything that happened." Because he was the kind of guy who would stick around and be responsible for what he did if someone reminded him of it ok?

Great. Just his luck to wake up in the same room and in his birthday suit with this guy who was going to bite his head off at every opportune moment. Nice to meet you Matt.

Eyeing the scowl on Matt's face, he glared back in defiance. "Or follow you around and drive you up the wall since you hate my guts so much when I haven't done anything to justify any of these." Yup. He certainly wasn't going to stick around here either. Two could play this game.

[ ALLAN'S ROOM ] - Ace + Shu

Shu nodded docily at Allan, their leader was wise, they couldn't let the adult leave and call his accomplices for help. He had said it already, he wanted Allan the teenager boy.

The petite Asian made a deadpanned face at Gale, made sure he had no way to take the boy with him. She shoved her hammer at the adult's face coldly, "Where's the -" she took a glance at Allan's side before she finished the rest of her question. "- gum gum fruit?" It should be some code names and might relate to their escape, thought Shu.

While the tiny girl interrogating the adult, Ace took his time to appreciate his beautiful scythe and gave a thumb up at Sherry for her quick action. "Come on, just tell us what you know and we won't hurt you." He persuaded with an amiable grin, like a bright teenager. "We just want the truth." He then looked at Jason, as if he could contribute something useful as well.

[ DEUS ISLAND ]

At first the skies looked beautiful, like a cloud of red-

- And then thousands of red butterflies descended upon everyone on the island, passing through and under their skin. It didn't leave any marks, it didn't feel any different at first at all-

- Then all those on the island would feel rage and then envy and then it subsided to a strange balance in between. They remembered everything.

It was odd at first, as everyone was still quite stuck in their younger bodies, but slowly, as all their memories trickled back along their weapons, as the butterflies pulled away in search of something on the island, everything returned to normal.

And almost everyone. There were two exceptions, and both of were rejected by the butterflies. One was a young girl still dreaming of becoming more, and the other was not even a person, just still a construct stuck in a crystal. For the first, they would find their own way onwards, for the second, they gained awareness, resonated through the crystal and slowly drifted to sea.

Five-hundred meters away from Deus along the shoreline, an enormous tree would extend its long roots from the edges of the island and create a rather impressive sight. Within time perhaps, it might create a smaller patch of green around it, but any who neared it just felt a terrible loneliness, and nothing else.

And for those unaffected by the green in the first place - they would feel a slightly more irrational anger, just a little more than usual.

+ Not satisfied with the few rps you had? You are still able to backdate your RPs and create more (as well as get the x2 rp points for it). This is only good until the end of this week on Sunday (to create, unlimited time to finish as usual)
+ The current timeline will resume as if all people remember what happened to them on the status effect
+ This ORP if you posted over 600 words is worth +2 rp points (so +4 with the bonus)
+ Feel free to RP in this ORP to wrap up as you wish with this knowledge in effect!
+ If you were IMMUNE TO THE STATUS EFFECT your character might feel slightly more irrationally angry/ temperamental than usual, but it wears off relatively quickly (within a few days)

gaia_crown [ PLEASE NOTE THINGS HAPPENING IN THIS CURRENT TIMELINE THAT YOUR HUNTER SHOULD BE AWARE OF NOW: ]

- Red butterflies occasionally will fly about. It is best to avoid them, but if your character accidentally touches one they will be an indescribable hunger for destruction (anger, rage, destruction) that can be rped however you want in any RP. The effect only lasts bout 10 minutes though before wearing off.
- There is a tree sticking out of the Deus shoreline. It's the distant shoreline away from the lighthouse, on the other side of Deus past the jungle. It isn't really that noticeable unless someone is looking for it/ happens to wander there. It doesn't have any effect if anyone wants to touch it and just looks like a 50-foot tree with broad leaves
- If you would like your character to also be permanently stuck with this status effect: it will reset their character to Y1 stats and NO MEMORY OF ANY EVENTS (except what they experienced here) at around 14 - 16, through you are free to use their RP points for any purchases/artifacts before you reset. Please PM Zoobey if you'd still like to go through with this and we haven't talked about this already!
