A strange sound would fill the jungle as Trafalgar proceeded....complete silence. In a place like this, that was never a good sign. Suddenly a twig would crunch behind the bow, as a claw scrapped into the side of a tree to leave a deep gash; yet one he looked he would see nothing. Noises would start filling the area around him, yet there would be no sign of the source....until he saw a blood red line hanging in the air.
Colours faded, washed away from dark to a bright green and yellow. Eyes looking two ways at once, there was no mistaking the sight of a Kecleon. Somehow this one was different though. A bit larger than average, it's claws having taken a savage gleam. A scar even marked it's lip from a past battle. It took slow, misty breaths. This was no mere dweller of the darkness, but a being at the top of it's food chain. Trafalgar had run into the Guardian of this Jungle, and now there was no escaping it!

The girl watched as the attack did absolutely nothing to the pokemon and smiled. "finally, Fomantis it seems we finally found a tough opponent for you.. I don't know about you bit I was getting tired of those one hit fights..." She said with a smile before looking at the geodude intently. "Fomantis jump When he gets close to you." She told Fomantis as she waited for geodude to make its move.
Onyxia watched the Slugma climb out of the event. "Awww you're adorable. I wish I could catch you." Ordo tilted his head on the other hand. >Okay.... we don't really want to fight, we're just looking for some humans to get them off the island. But hey, the Cryogonal up the mountain is gone. If you want to start invading there.< Onyxia watched as Ordo communicated with the Slugma. "We just want to pass through if that's okay." She looked at Ordo and back to the Slugma. "Okay Bud, we might have to fight. If so Tackle."

My it would seem one too many victories had caused the girl to get rather too big for her britches hadn't it? It's goal was to turn the Fomantis into a fine goo, and so it would go into a head first Tackle!
">All shall serve the Slugma Master race!<" The Fire-type declared, even as the Litleo's flame-retardant body slammed into it's own. This wasn't just a single Slugma. If it's words were true, this was....THE INVASION OF THE SLUGMA FROM THE HOLLOW EARTH! Inhaling, which only brought up the question of whether or not Slugma actually had lugs, the Pokemon would belt out a noxious plume of Smog, filling the area with poison. Best not to breath deeply here!
This wasn't good. A Kecleon. And a Guardian, at that. Trafalgar..really had been at match up disadvantages this whole time. He would have to use Dante...for now. "Dante...come on out! Try to avoid the Kecleon for now, use your smelling and stay away, believe in your gut."
Dante would appear in a flash and listen to Trafalgar's commands. Seemed like the Trainer had gotten into a sticky situation and Dante would have to fight for his life.
Onyxia looked at the Slugma. "Alright Ordo dodge!" She was exicted for this fight. Holding her Smoochum ball at the ready in case Ordo got too hurt. "Get ready Arla, might need to trade you out." She smiled as she felt good. But as the air smelt odd she covered herself, coughing a bit at the air. "Ordo, we need to make this quick."
Unfortunately, Altair wouldn't have much time to himself. The ground beneath him would shake once more, though with much less energy then when the Carbink decided to harass him. Startled by the noises above her, an Alolan Diglett broke through the earth, beady little eyes alert and glittering. /INTRUDERS!/ she shrieked gleefully, her little hair shuddering with excitement. /I've ALWAYS wanted to fight intruders! C'mon, c'mon, let's go go go!/ The bizarre creature bounced, wiggling right in Altair's path. She might not have been as aggressive as some of the other Pokemon he'd encountered, but she was a block nonetheless.
While Sol would escape the bombardment mostly unscathed but for several drops on his scarf, Umbra wouldn't be so lucky. The poor Golett had taken the brunt of the assault, and now reeked. At least the white splatters looked almost artistic on the poor creature.

For a few moments, Nim assumed all her debating and internal struggles had all been for naught; the ball looked like it was going to miss entirely. But through fate, or dumb luck, it'd catch the screaming dinosaur. Briefly, she wondered if since the steam had technically propelled the ball into the Aerodactyl's face, it belonged to the steam vent.
She'd might have sit there waiting forever for the Steam Monster to come out and fight her for supremacy, had it not been for Eins lightly nudging her. "I'm... okay," she managed quietly, forcing herself to her feet. She wasn't sure to make of the Pokemon she'd been partnered with, overly-affectionate fey that she was, but at least the Mimikyu could get things done. Nim would need that. She picked up the Pokeball and shoved it into the bag in which she'd placed Professor Lux's bag. Well, that was part of her mission down. Now she just needed to find a worker... one that was hopefully alive.
"Let's go, Eins," she remarked quietly. Talking wasn't really her cup of tea, much less to her Pokemon, but... well. Maybe a little.
... maybe. "That doesn't mean 'hug me', Eins," she remarked dryly, shaking the happily-crying Pokemon off her leg. And like that, she was off.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Nim couldn't be more grateful that she'd taking her sweater off; without it, she'd probably be burning up. As it was, she felt awful and sweaty. Next time she went on one of these trips, she was taking a hairband... huh, next time. Well, it seemed she'd resigned herself to being a member of Akumu... halfway through her first mission, but still.

The girl raised an eyebrow at the attack as Fomantis managed to jump just high enough for the attack to only hit its feet making Fomantis face plant behind geodude. "hardly any damage... Youcan take the hits but dissing them out you suck." She said with as she looked at Fomantis who instantly jumped back up and looked at geodude."Fomantis use Weather Ball now.." She told Fomantis.
((Two things. Firstly you forgot to change the level on your Pokemon's stats to 3 after it levelled)
(Secondly....))
[CRITICAL! +1 to Geodude's Attack Rolls!]
The Rock-type's right eyebrow would twitch slightly. If the Pokemon had veins, one would probably be throbbing in his forehead right about now. The kid did an awful lot of smack talk for how poorly this battle was going for them already. Throwing both fists hard against the ground, the Geodude would grab two handfuls of snow and throw them into the air before bolting for cover. A diversion and a distraction. With all the sunlight the ice crystals were sparkly and just a little bit blinding if you starred too closely.

Amazingly the Litleo would manage to evade the Smog long enough for the steam vents to discharge. As the warm air and mist filled the area, it would push the smog out to the edges of the battlefield. The air had been cleared, and with it the Slugma would flatten it's body, allowing it's exterior layer to cool and harden to form it's defense.
The Kecleon's eyes would go wide, not in surprise, but rather split in opposite directions. One would focus on Trafalgar, while the other followed the movements of Dante. This was not a creature who would be easy to surprise it seemed.
Taking a step back the Pokemon's skin would begin to change colour. At first one would assume it was merely trying to mimic surroundings and disappear from view....but as it turned a shadowy black without disappearing from view, the answer became clear. He wasn't merely blending his appearance...but his TYPE! The Guardian was using Camouflage!
