Another tail swipe in her direction and Juniper went tumbling again. This time she saved her head form a bump and managed to land on her elbows which jarred her on the impact. Thankfully she'd probably get off with some minor bruising with that lucky little save. The pain though helped to steady her. Not even bothering to get back onto her feet, she sat up and put both hands out this time. If she couldn't force him into a box, then why not just work to constrain him for the Faceless. "Don't Move!" She yelled as she tried to keep Dee from being about to move his feet anymore.

For the first time in quite some time, Al smirked. "Then we'll just have to make amends by bringing ya down, ya fecker." He dove to dodge a tail but still got swatted by the other one. His body smacked hard into the vending machine and his head cracked against the metal frame. He'd had plenty of head wounds in the past to be able to know this one wasn't so serious, but the sudden burst of pain was enough to unleasha bout of rage and wrath within him. For a split second, he pictured the destroyer bursting into flame... but, thankfully for him and the rest of the theater's inhabitants, it didn't happen. Ashdown Whaler assisting faceless - fail

Lily took a moment to gasp for air, clutching at her stomach as her mind whirled. This was what she was supposed to do, but it wasn't working, without the Pack she was nothing but weak and aimless, clumsy in a body that had loo-long limbs and an odd, stumpy torso. But perhaps that was precisely the point--Lily was fighting a force at the same time she was fighting her own impulses. How could she have expected to win? So instead of biting back her instincts, she drew on them for strength, remembering the feeling of claws and teeth as her body contorted into something smaller and covered in dark glossy fur. The fisher darted towards the beast on swift paws, climbing up one of its legs with an angry chitter. Stay in your box, a*****e, she hissed in her mind as she attempted to assert her will, but before anything could take hold she felt the grip of too many teeth on her torso, ripping her free from her foothold in his dark hackles. Lily yelped as she felt canines tear into skin and then with a shake she was being thrown across the room, her vision whirled as she tumbled into a graceless stop near Temperance. She wheezed as she shifted back, defensively guarding her torso. Looking down under her hands, Lily could see where her shirt had been torn and a series of torn puncture wounds began to well up with blood. "********," she hissed, wishing for once she'd been blessed with Lucas's more combat-ready form. Ashdown Whaler Attempting to assist the faceless 2 - FAILURE

Gritting her teeth, Temperance tried to make use of her long, spindly legs. She kicked out at Dee, both arms rather kind of useless. Instead of her foot connecting, she was slammed back up against a wall. She should have known better, she thought. Temperance wasn't a fighter. Her plastic fingertips clicking together, she pulled out a scarf from her bag and set about trying to awkwardly tie up her wound. ashdown whaler helping faceless - failure #2

Al received another blow and let out a strangled sound when the air was knocked from his chest and he landed against the vending machine for a second time. Spots exploded across his vision and his chest felt uncomfortably tight; lungs working hard to get back into proper air-breathing form. Seems he wasn't as willed as he might've thought before all this nonsense... and he certainly wasn't what he used to be when it came to down to it, physically. He stood shakily, and focused his mind; doing his best to assist from the sidelines as the younger dreamers fought. Ashdown Whaler assisting faceless - fail

He wasn't willing to give up just yet, refusing to believe that he was completely useless in this fight. However, before he could even straighten from where he'd nearly crumpled, an attack came, terrifying in it's swiftness and ferocity. It left Connor staggering back, slumping down on the floor near where both Temp and Lily were. His chest burned with pain, and a hand pressed against it came away red and sticky with blood. But what perhaps hurt most of all was the fact that his favourite hoody was ruined. "God <********> damnit." He hissed, leaning back, propped up at a forty five degree angle by his elbow. ashdown whaler helping faceless - failure the second

It was chaos. The imprecise flailing of toddlers pressed into battle. Between the spectacle of the untrained and Dee's threats—the better to eat you with, my dear—Theo couldn't help finding the scene in front of him rather funny. All things considered, he had taken this unplanned adventure rather well, though that was more because this all still felt a little like a dream. At least it did until he was tossed halfway across the room like a dirty sock.
He had been pondering cages again when it happened, and as he landed hard on the floor he lost his breath, grunting in pain and losing track of what he was meant to be concentrating on.

When he rose again, it was to more pain, some sort of jagged piece of rubble jutting out of the shoulder he'd landed on. Theodore summoned anger and tried to form it into intent, but if it worked there was no sign. He did mostly dodge another attack from Dee, moving against the wall in time to only add a minor scratch to his collection of wounds.Ashdown Whaler "helping" faceless x2 fail

Chris was willing to let those who had interacted with the vaguely faced people and Dee handle the situation. He wasn't going to force himself in the situation unless he was needed, but as everything started to become clear, he realized he should have stepped in sooner. Dee was more dangerous than assumed and now they were fighting against him.
He stumbled forward to try and help corral him in, but instead got a stumble and a scratch for his efforts. It was what he deserved, he supposed, but it still was frustrating.

Chris tried again, his efforts being rewarded with a much deeper cut this time. He hissed in pain, backing away as he tried to regroup. This wasn't working and he was going going to keep getting injured for his efforts, along with everyone, but they had rather limited options.

Acacia had kept back and kept quiet as things spiraled more and more out of control. She'd wanted in on the conversations but hadn't been brave enough to risk touching a mannequin to listen. She'd struggled to decide where she stood on the matter of whether to help the chipmunk or give it over. That had been cleared up pretty definitely, at least, now that Dee 'for Destroyer' had started his changing.
Everything after was a flurry of a battle, and one she wanted no part of, really. But Bryants weren't raised that way, and she pushed away from her place against the wall to try and help as best she could. Even if she only managed to distract the monster from those already getting hurt...As she rushed forward she tried to think of something, anything to restrain Dee, tried to will him down the way they'd all willed that cage open.
She got cut bad for her efforts, but she grit her teeth and kept at it instead of falling back again. "Just stay down."

Dee had grown larger but it had proven no matter to the group. Even those that he had snapped, had injured, had left him open for those that had managed to actually hold him down. "No, no, no, no!" he shrieked out, tail lashing out once more. With him held, the faceless were moving. The three that managed to actually get a hold of Dee were pressed back. Fingers brushed against skin, words whispered into their mind. We are grateful for your assistance but this we must finish. The two tall faceless mannequins in suits pushed their hands upon Dee who continued to shriek and yell. It was nothing nice and extremely rude but his voice, which had become deeper as he had gotten larger, started to become higher, shriller. Until he was a chipmunk once more caged between their fingers. "I will end you one day," he squeaked out and then collapsed unconscious.

Once the faceless had taken over, Shun moved back, pressing a hand over his fresh wound. He stared as the creature was turned back into a chipmunk, then lightly frowned at the two mannequins. "Can you not... turn it into something that cannot easily play to human sympathies? Like a worm? But... we are free to go now, correct?"Shaking his head, his gaze soon just fell upon Juniper. He didn't say anything, but there was definitely a sense of judgement there.

She watched as Dee shrunk and shrunk and was finally as he was. Interesting, that. "Or maybe a vegetable," she added onto Shun comment. "Two things: can you fix my fingers? And so then, did you bring us here, or did Dee? What was the point of showing the film?" Temperance paused. "I guess that's three things." She looked towards Lily and Connor, frowning at their injuries. "How're you two holding up? I've got basic med supplies."

Dee was moved back into the cage. One of the faceless held a hand against it and the metal shifted and changed. It was no longer the cutesy cage that it had been but one of steel and entirely closed in. Like a small jail cell. A hand pressed lightly to Shun's shoulder. We only return it to what it once was.Temperance was approached and a hand reached out to wave over her fingers. They were back to being human fingers (likewise, Connor would find his foot back to normal). Then a finger was tapped against her cheek. Think before you act. Respect boundaries. These are things you must learn if you wish to survive what is laid out before you. The voices blended together in Temperance's mind. The past guides your steps and you must know it. See what has happened already. Learn the magic. The faceless tilted it's head. What brought you here the faceless do not know. We merely gathered you together.
