Why in the world had she left home for...this? Is anything this was embarrassing for the academy. How could they be so daft to let something like this happen in the first place?

...and missed it landing on her tummy in the garden. The Slime she'd been after bounced onto her back and off into the garden. Nastara laughed and got up dusting herself off and continued the hunt. She'd been at this for quite some time, and still hadn't caught one. She refused to get discouraged though because she was having so much fun.

She stood for a moment, debating where to go next- waiting for her chance to catch a slime......and standing there, she saw another coming up to her so she stayed still and waited....and waited and POUNCED!



AND CAUGHT ONE *she held it close and snuggled it*

Verve had heard the commotion, it was hard not to, especially when it was something even remotely exciting. The chimera wasn't particularly eager to "hunt" for these... whatever it was the announcement called them. They were a lot more amusing to her roaming (and in some cases bouncing) around the campus. So her attempts were half-hearted at best and purposefully misaiming at worst.

She didn't seem the least bit bothered whenever the slimes were always just out of reach. In fact, when no one was looking and one accidentally bounced into her hand, Verve "accidentally on purpose dropped" it. And then nudged it away with the toe of her shoes.

Charmstar heard about the request Ava made to all the students in the Academy. He'd even seen a couple of older Nightmares who were already in university come to lend a helping hand (or claw.) The fallen, however, saw no reason to participate. The issue was mostly for the classrooms and laboratories. Any excuse not to attend math class was a welcomed one as far as he was concerned.

Which was why the white-haired fallen kept the door to his room locked. He settled onto his bed, took out some earbuds, and began listening to programs that were streaming online. He was doing research, yeah, that was it. It's not like he was intentionally staying indoors to avoid exerting himself.

Narra happily went to the Academy, not only because it was a warmer campus, but because he knew his sister wouldn't be able to resist. And as much as his family encouraged their children to be independent and to take care of themselves, older brother habits were just hard to break.

The dryad was startled to find the sheer volume of slimes currently populating the grounds. He marvelled at the variety of slimes and would have liked to learn more about them, when a particular slime bounced right up to him. It was making soft, squeaking little noises that were for the most part pleasant. The enthusiasm actually reminded him of a certain baphomet and as he held his hand out to give it a pat, the slime literally leapt onto his palm.

He really hoped he would run into Topaz at the Academy. In fact, he took out his phone and sent her a message.

"Come baaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!" Renge whined as the slime once again eluded her. She'd been trying to catch one the moment she arrived and all her efforts seem to have been for naught. Maybe she should get her brother to do this for her? The Fey was certain she could convince the Dryad to go running after these things in her stead.

She was getting tired and frustrated and no one liked a tired and frustrated Renge. Least of all Renge herself. Because the only way for her to dispel the unease was to whine out loud even without having a captive audience. And that usually meant looking like a fool or crazy or a crazy fool. She pushed up her sleeves and once more tried to chase after the slimes.

Wayne was expecting today to be just another ordinary, boring day, which wasn't always a bad thing. He liked routine because of the sense of order it gave him. And order was a definitely plus in the freshling imp's book, especially when he all but loathed chaos and things that were out of his control. Probably why he had trouble making friends and had done his very best in establishing a connection with a certain baphomet.

Wayne, in general, was not Mister Sunshine. So when he went out and all but slipped on something goopy, well, let's just say premature frown lines were in his future. It figures that the first person he would encounter (after getting up and pretending that nothing embarrassing had happened) was "Li!" he barked out the baphomet's nickname. And then hastily added "Lo!" when he say they weren't alone.

"Y'all okay?" he asked, then decided to give an addendum "Apart from bein' messy and heck, I mean."

Lokni lost in watching the clouds roll by him did not notice the little blob that was squishing itself across the green grass near him, it made a small squeaky sound but not loud enough for Lokni to hear.
