Siobhan's inability to see past the obvious hint in Needle's answer aided her oblivious nature. "Oh I see!" She giggled, glowing tears now only a stain in her food. "I had terrible Heebie Jeebies just thinking about it. I do not know much about boil's... um... thingies.." She put it delicatly, blushing bright blue when she caught a glance of Muka. Oh no. Muka was a boil. He had a thingie, and here she was just.... How embarrassing! She squacked. "Aaaaah I was talking about thingies in front of a boil oh Jack no...." Siobhan pulled her long hair over her face with a whine. Such dirty talk was only for romance novels!!!

Muka, being a wise young owl, just giggled and ate because he could probably wax poetic about his thingie.

And, in that moment, Needle was thankful for the loud music, because it hid her laugh at Siobhan's expense. At least she got herself under control pretty quickly, and reached out to pat the top of the Banshee's head with a flat palm.
"There, there. I am certain he will not hold his grudge forever." She really did like Siobhan. She was a good, fun friend. "Perhaps he will forgive your fault one day - is that not right, dear Muka?"

"One day!" He squawked playfully and slurped down something that looked like either a worm or a noodle.

Her friends were so super comforting and forgiving. Perhaps they would forgive her faul----wait PERHAPS?!?!!? Oh no! She needed to man up and change her tune to their liking, and FAST! Siobhan sniffled, and flipped the hair from her face. "I-I propose a change in subject!" She announced over the music very easily. Being a banshee did have it's advantages. "The subjects are as follows; Food, Fashion, and Music!" "This food is amazing. Muka, what's that you are eating?""Your outfits are SO in! Where did you get that dress?""This music is KILLER! Who is this band?"There, she was a pro at teenage conversation!

He was asking because he wanted to make sure she wasn't feeling too uncomfortable, though it looked as though asking had made it slightly worse. Xavier flushed with embarrassment and was about to tell her not to mind - but as it turned out, he didn't need to, because she was already dragging him up.
"O - okay!" he said quickly. "Games, yes, games, let's go play."
Games were a good distraction right.

Needle flashed a grin at Muka; she loved when he played along with her, and right now, her heart was about to burst with it.
Siobhan's attempt at a conversation change was met with a grin, a small chuckle, and a hug. Thankfully, the latter was careful in that Siobhan's head was pressed between needle-less elbows and then pulled down against her chest. Boob hugs made everything better, and how else was she supposed to show her only female friend in the whole wide world (Lattice excluded because Lattice was above friendship with her 'Twin Sister' tag) that everything was okay?
"Siobhan, you are a hellish delight!"

Kemnebi's phone buzzed and she opened it to read the text. Well, hell. How was she supposed to tell him where she was when she didn't know where he was. He had to be one of the costumed ones, but which was harder to determine. There were so many students, it was had to pick one person out of the crowd. Izumi Tenshi I'm by the punch bowl. I'm a skeleton Well, at least her make up was a skull, she had on a skeleton hoodie and had painted bones on her tail. It wasn't the best or most creative costume, but it was cute and she liked it.

Keen found a seat near the side of .. well, most of what is going on. She had been purchased but for the life of her, she could not remember who had paid for her... not that they had really paid much, she was a budget item.
A small smile crossed her lips as she watched as people moved around, they all seemed happy, and it was enough to make her lift a bit off the seat eyes roaving slowly to see if there was anyone she could recognize in the area.
Failing to see anyone she knew, she shrugged a bit and settled back down again, tapping one foot to the music that was playing in the background.

If Freya's enthusiasm bothered him at all, it didn't show. He seemed utterly unphased by her volume, and was content to let Junko field questions. Though the punch to the arm did demand his attention. It made him rock where he stood, and glowing eyes turned down the valkyrie to offer a slow blink. "Couldn't let her get away." Twice. It was offered with a pleased smile. To his credit, Seiji didn't look even the least bit panicked at the notion of scarelings. It was a subject he and Junko had talked about before. They had a plan, and babes were certainly a part of it, and probably sooner rather than later. So he wiggled his finger at Peder, smiling at the little reaper scareling. "After graduation," he agreed, making the rot in his hand crawl in different designs for Peder's amusement. Kettil's comment was answered with a nod. If there was one thing Seiji did too often, it was spoiling Junko. The ghoul wanted for nothing, and of course, the ring was no exception. "It's nice, right? Antique."

Thankfully, Amarus took care of the disruption, and Mia let out a sigh of relief, returning to the topic at hand. "I suppose that's true." she laughed. Boils were curious creatures, and it wasn't something she wanted to give much thought to at the moment. She was done dealing with them.
"Nah, I've got my hands full keeping an eye out for troublemakers. Besides, I've got my own company." She gestured to one of the butterflies fluttering around her as it perched on her shoulder. "This here's Psy, my familiar. The others are a manifestation of my fear." At being introduced, the butterfly perked up, tiny black eyes staring back at the other reaper. "Hello!"

"West, have you learned nothing during your time at Amityville?" Hel teased, but regardless, still stood there rather proudly as her 'costume' was called into attention. The reaper rested her fists on her hips and puffed her chest up. "Ya!" She replied after Amrita said the magic words of 'wedding dress'. "That is what it is! Also, look at you, Amrita, continuing to be polite and not ignoring me." She continued on. "As for why I am wearing it--" Another pause. " Why not." That was her answer.

"I know what it is an' what it's for," West muttered, standing straight again. He certainly hadn't needed Amityville to teach him about weddings or how to avoid his own. He kept telling himself that Levi wouldn't miss a ceremony she wasn't even familiar with, but he knew he'd have to give in to its necessity eventually largely because, not so deep down, he actually wanted to. If he hadn't been rather detached from his own anger right now, the reminder might have made him twitch. All that fanfare and spectacle just to confirm a union he had no intention of breaking anyway. When he heard her excuse for wearing the dress, he snorted and shook his head. His derisive amusement was short lived, however, once he noticed the tension between Hel and Amrita. "What's goin' on here?" West said. His voice was low, almost as if he wasn't aware he had spoken.

Amrita only smiled at Hel. The kind of smile that seems very pleasant, but also a little weary.
Their little stand-off seemed to finally seep into the poor third party here, and as West asked his question, however quietly, he was heard. The Patchwork looked up at him, the weariness leaving her smile the moment she had something else to focus on.
"Oh, it's nothing." Amrita smiled away, linking her hands behind her back as she rocked lightly from the balls of her feet to her heels. "Just friends, playing nice. Right, Hel?" Her smile got a little sharper for only a moment, before she shrugged and returned her attention to the rather tall Wrath Demon.
"Anyway. We're at a dance. Want to?" She offered her gloved and backwards hand, her head tilting to indicate the dance floor not too far away.

It seemed like the group that had accumulated around them was more than equipped to make sure West in his drugged and previously slightly unconscious state would be fine.
Amarus hugged Hel with enthusiasm upon her arrival, but felt no desire to interact with the group beyond that-- groups were a little much for her to handle on the best of days.
"It has been quite nice to see you all, but I must excuse myself-- Hel, third time is a charm; I am certain I will see you again tonight," Amarus joked, quietly, leaning in and placing a flat palm gently against the reaper's face, pressing her lips to the back of her own hand as if giving Hel's cheek a kiss goodbye without the contact.
With that, she wandered away.
