Sweat glistening over Meji's forhead, his eyes squinting, his hear racing, he realized he had faltered. Suddenly he felt something in his body running thing. He had been drawing from an obviously tappable resource he had never felt before.
so this is chakra... I think Im starting to understand now. I wonder exactly how far I can push this flow and power before it harms me
Meji was determined to see how strong his body was, and how far he could push it before it gave way. He had never been physically strong, and had never even felt the need for it. Living his life with conversation, books, and plants physical strenght never even occured to him. But this, this chakra, it felt right, it felt like something he could become fluent in, and make his own.

"Haha!" Aya giggled with excitement. She would get this....she would get this..."I will complete this today!" she told herself outloud. She was close to being halfway done with her jutsu training for the day. Breathing heavily, she was starting to get tired out again. Sitting down on the ground, she rested.

"Good job Meji!" Koro-sensei congratulated him. "Make sure you rest. I don't want you passing out the first day," he told him with a huge smile on his face. These were some promising students. He never really had any students who were this hard working and determined.

Meji laughed, he couldnt help it, he hadn't done anything this much fun since he was picking Lewen Moss from the top of Pine Trees in the land of mist.
Feeling his body give way he fell backwards and landed flat on his back. The sun poured over him warming his body, this sensation was something he had never felt before, and boy did he enjoy it.
"That makes 2 Aya, 2 for me, and 2 for you" Meji said between gasps for air.

'He's catching up to me!' Aya warned herself. "Good job, Meji-chan!" Aya told him. "I have to do a good job too!" she said to herself, standing up again. Bringing her hands together, she calmed herself down from the excitement and adrenaline that was running through her. "Henge!" she said with a little more snap to her voice.

Meji slinked a bit closer to where Aya was training to watch more closely as he rested his beaten body.
I dont mind so much being beaten, but trying to learn from someone so much younger than me does seem a bit out of place
Meji shrugged his anxiety off and watched in awe as Aya's determination continued to amaze him. Those kind blue eyes changed so much with each attempt, she became a little scary for that split second of concentration.
she would be a most frightening opponent, perhaps one day I may find out

"Uf," Aya sighed, collapsing to her bum. This training was hard and wearing her out. Taking her shirt, she fanned it in and out to give her some more air. It was still the middle of the day and she felt like she could go to sleep for the night. Laying on her back, she closed her eyes. "Alright....rest...."

"Did you think training would be this tough, Meji-chan?" she asked, opening her eyes to look at the sky again. Izuki was being rather quiet and hadn't said anything for a long time. He was probably trying really hard to concentrate. Sitting up, she looked at Meji with a smile. "I didn't think it would be."

"Then I suppose its my turn" Meji said as he forced himself to stand. His legs were screaming at him to please just lay down.
thats enough out of you two, we got work to do!
Looking down at Aya he drew determination from hers. She was willing to push herself this far, I should too. I gotta make her know that Im willling to do whatever it takes to keep up.
Stopping his legs from shaking, snapping himself to attention, Meji struck the Tiger seal masterfully.
Make it count kid, make it count!
"TRANSFORM!" Meji bellowed!

Aya smiled as Meji stood up again, which made her stand up as well. Bringing her hands to the sheep seal, she concentrated, closing her eyes. She was growing tired, but she had to keep going. Slowly changing her seal to the tiger, she spoke, "Henge." Before attempting the transformation.

Collapsing backwards after a MISERBALE failure he glanced over at Aya.
"Ive done some difficult things in my time, but this is easily the toughest. Although, becoming a rock is kinda neat"
His last attempt was considerably worst than his first one ever. How could he possibly be getting worst at this already?
"I think Im going to rest a bit longer this time, I dont want anymore failures like that one, so who else is in this class, they are all concentrating so hard"
He laid backwards sighing and grinning as the breeze drifted over him, tickling all his sences.
its no wonder everyone in this area is so happy, with sents and feelings like these, I could live here forever...

Sitting back down, Aya told him "Izuki-chan is right there," she said pointing off to her right. "He's rather quiet right now, but usually he's a wired puppy dog!" she said with a giggle. "He's my best friend," she told him, waving over at Izuki.
