C.T could see instantly that something was wrong with Mag, while she always used too force a smile, it was at least genuine, she was happy in the past, just not as happy as she could have been without the love of her life around. But now she just looked distraught. She was hurting, C.T could tell it by the way the corners of her lips twitched as she tried to keep her smile in place. C.T let Esther do the talking, C.T was trying too figure out how to be a best friend, and too what extent she should go to make Mag feel better. Esther didn't seem to pick up on Mag's mood the way C.T had but Mag cleared it really quickly when she said that there was someone else. C.T nodded then and there, right after agreed for them to go with Mag, something that C.T would have agreed to herself. "Where are we going?" C.T asked, giving Mag a meaningful look. "Diner around the corner, she'll be here in 15 minutes." Mag answered, she understood that C.T was sending her a signal, but she didn't understand exactly what signal it was that she was sending, but she knew she would find out soon enough. ------- "So we are going to take care of the 'other' person right?" C.T asked nonchalantly, after they had been seated at a table for six in the Diner. They didn't know if Jennie would have guest so it was best too come prepared. Mag who had been drinking water when C.T asked the questioned sputtered. "T-take care of em?" Mag asked, and C.T rolled her eyes. "Yes, let him or her know, that you are back and that his or her time with Jennie is over." C.T said, Mag took a deep calming breath, she had thought C.T meant "take care of" in a much more violent manor. "I don't think it works that way C.T." Mag said softly. "Why not?" C.T countered, causing Mag too sigh, she really didn't want too think about this too much. "She's moved on, she doesn't love me anymore." C.T made a sound of disapproval at that. "What?" "I don't think you can just fall out of love with someone. Once your in love that's it. This other person was just there too fill a vacant space for a while. That space is yours." C.T said, leaving no room for doubt in her mind, she held her words as golden, even if Mag was having her doubts. "I don't think that's, you can't just-" Mag froze as the door too the Diner opened and in walked two women, one was tall, with short cut hair, shorter than Esther's and piercings, she had a tough look to her, not ugly or anything, but C.T would imagine that this is what most people would consider a butch. Though she still had many feminine traits about her. The woman with her must have been Jennie, had to be from the way Mag couldn't take her eyes off the woman. C.T shook her head at the way Mag froze, and waved the couple down for her. This was going to get interesting.

"I don't think you can just fall out of love with someone. Once you're in love, that's it. This other person was just there to fill a vacant space for a while. That space is yours."
Esther smiled inwardly and stared down into her menu, trying to hide the fact that she was still thinking about C.T.'s words. It was perhaps one of the most beautiful descriptions Esther had heard of love that didn't include cheesy, flowery details. And she had to agree. Speaking from experience, there seemed to Esther to be no way to fall out of love with C.T. She was in it now. There was no turning back, no escaping.
The door opened and in walked two women--and one of them was quite clearly Jennie. She was a little shorter than her gruffer-looking counterpart, with long, curly red hair and green-ish eyes. Her details were soft, delicate. She and the other woman walked over to the table. Jennie's eyes had found Mag's the moment C.T. waved them over, and they didn't leave, not for a second, not even as the pair approached the table and the taller female began introducing herself.
"Hi, I'm Kate," she said. Judging by the way she tore her gaze from Jennie and Mag--like she was working around them--and held out her hand to Esther and C.T., she had accepted the fact she wouldn't be getting through to either of the separated lovers just yet. "I'm Jennie's, uh... we're en--"
"I'm Esther." Esther thrust her hand out to Kate. It seemed Kate was struggling with whether or not she should outright state her relationship to Jennie, and that was just fine because, honestly, Esther didn't want Mag to hear it. Not from Kate. God, why did it have to happen like this? Esther, feeling slightly protective over Mag, was upset with Jennie for bringing Kate here. It seemed rude, inconsiderate, insensitive.
Finally, sensing motion on Mag's end of the table, Esther looked over just in time to see Mag getting up and embracing Jennie. No words were exchanged. The two women simply hugged tightly, tears welling up in Jennie's eyes and, likely, though Esther couldn't see them, Mag's eyes, as well.
For a moment, it was like no time had passed at all. Jennie still smelled the same--she was wearing a lilac perfume, just like she used to, just like Mag used to love. Mag remembered, too, what it felt like to hold Jennie. There was something so familiar about this embrace, she could swear they had hugged last only yesterday. But it wasn't true. Years had passed. "I've missed you so much," Mag whispered, burying her face into Jennie's neck as she clung to the woman tighter. She closed her eyes, pretending nothing had changed, pretending they hadn't changed. A tear slithered down her cheek, landed on Jennie's jacket.
"I've missed you, too," Jennie replied quietly.
A few long moments later, the embrace ended, and Mag and Jennie took seats across from each other. They still only stared at each other, although when Jennie noticed Kate watching her in her peripheral vision, she quickly and timidly averted her gaze. "So, uh, how have you been? What have you been doing these past few years?" Jennie asked awkwardly, looking up again, although with considerably less intensity.
Mag hesitated, then shrugged. "G-Good, I guess," she replied. There was no concise way to answer either of those questions. A lot had happened--no, correction, a lot was happening. "I've been living with C.T. here, with her and bunch of others like us. It's been good. I've found a family there." Mag smiled.
Jennie glanced at C.T., brows quirked slightly. Mag had said on the phone that she was bringing friends, but what if Jennie misunderstood? What if...? "Oh. Are you...?" She slid her finger between C.T. and Mag, clearly asking if they were a couple. Dread flooded Jennie's bones.

'If you say Fiance. I will punch you in the throat.' C.T thought angrily as she stared daggers into Kate's skull, watching her like a hawk as she shook Esther's hand after the girl had interrupted Kate's words, promptly saving Kate's life, because C.T hadn't been making an idle threat in her mind. Mag already seemed crushed, if Kate said anything too make it worse. C.T would hurt the woman. Kate noticed C.T's gaze while she was shaking Esther's hand, the woman wasn't blind, she could see that C.T didn't like her. Usually Kate could hold anyone's gaze, man or woman. She had too stand up for herself a lot since she's come out, but there was something about this woman before her glaring at her like she was ready to attack her at any minute, Kate had too look away. "Connie" C.T spoke up, still staring Kate down, but not extending her hand as Esther had, she wasn't going too shake this woman's hand. C.T's aggression had bought Mag some much needed alone time with Jennie, and Mag had taken advantage, latching too the girl for a long drawn out hug. It was easy too see how compatible the two of them were together in the way they just moved with eachother. It hurt too see them apart. C.T and Esther weren't the only ones too notice though, Kate was watching them and she didn't look happy about. Mag and Jennie finally separated, and sat down, C.T let them have their talk and continued too try and run Kate off with nothing but her gaze until she heard her name mentioned, Mag was telling Jennie about her living conditions for the past few years. It was then that Jennie thought she had made connection, between C.T and Mag and it was all wrong. Mag who had been drinking water at the time, again sputtered, almost spitting her water all over the table. "N-no! No not at all!" Mag said almost a bit too quickly. "N-not that there is anything wrong with C.T, but for the longest time I thought she was asexual, and...and..." "From the moment I met Mag, she let me know that she had someone she planned on returning too. Everyone knew that she was in love, and that she was taken. No one would dare try and trample those feelings. That's how it should be right?" C.T said pointedly, glaring at Kate once again, Kate was currently clearing her throat and averting her gaze. "Uhh... yea.... C.T and Esther are together however. I'm just playing chaperon for the day." "I'm sorry but, is there a problem?" Kate finally spoke up, grow tired of C.T trying to kill her with her gaze. Connie for her part smiled the corner of her mouth raising slightly. "If I said 'yes' would you let me fix?" "Connie," Mag warned pleadingly. Connie raised her hands in surrender before standing. "I'm going to go use the restroom. Excuse me." She said with a small wave, before walking off.

(C.T. is cracking me up. She is the ultimate wingman.)
Jennie definitely felt more relieved than she should have when it was revealed that Mag and C.T. weren't together, although C.T.'s little speech... That relief was quickly replaced by guilt. Heavy guilt. It wasn't a guilt Jennie hadn't experienced before--it had first appeared last year, when she started dating Kate--but it was one she had somehow managed to put to the back of her mind. Until now. Jennie shrunk in her seat, suddenly wishing she could reverse time.
Mag, meanwhile, chewed anxiously on her lip as she watched Jennie shrivel before her very eyes. Even though C.T. had said some of the things stirring in Mag's heart (though perhaps not in so many words and with a more aggressive tone), Mag wasn't sure they had been worth being said if it meant Jennie reacted like this. Despite everything Mag was feeling--despite all of the aching disappointment and gnawing frustration and sobbing heartbreak--she didn't want to cause Jennie any pain. Mag reached out, wanting to grab Jennie's pain and put all of her obvious guilt to rest, but Kate's glare, which she caught in her peripheral vision, forced her to think otherwise.
Esther was beginning to think C.T. had the right idea; she should leave. But not without Kate. There was no way in hell Esther was leaving if Kate stuck around, which she appeared very determined to do. Jennie and Mag needed to talk alone, without interruption, without having to censor their words. Standing, Esther straightened out her button-down shirt and addressed the table. "I'm, uh, going to step outside. Get some fresh air. This place smells like grease," she said, offering a small smile. She turned to Kate. "Wanna join me?"
Kate was wearing a grimace, likely caused by a poisonous mix of C.T.'s harshness and the uncomfortable situation. As protective of Mag as Esther felt, Mag didn't seem to be loving C.T.'s approach, and Kate definitely wasn't, either. If Esther wanted Kate to leave, her chances of getting the woman to do so through rudeness were pretty slim. But it didn't matter. Because without more than a second's glance at Esther, Kate replied flatly, "No, thanks. I'm good here." She didn't want to leave Jennie.
Well, s**t. Jennie shifted uncomfortably, but once her eyes met Mag's, they stayed there. Esther took this opportunity and walked around to Kate's side. "Look," she started softly, "I get that you don't like what's happening here, but you care about Jennie, right? Imagine what it would feel like to be in my friend's place, y'know? Imagine what it would feel like if you came back to her after missing her for, like, ever and discovering she was with someone else." Esther wasn't wholly convinced her pleading would work, but, to her surprise, Kate seemed to actually be considering what Esther was saying. Judging by the look on her face, which was softening, her eyes focused on Jennie, she was placing herself in Mag's shoes. "Only for a few minutes," Esther continued, hoping to seal the deal. "And if you've really gotta watch, we'll be right by the window." It worked. Kate stood, and Esther, relieved, walked with her outside to hang out by the newspaper stands.
After watching Esther and Kate go, Mag returned her full attention to Jennie. "Jennie, about what C.T. said--" she started, apologetic; but she was cut off.
"No, she was right. She was... completely right." Jennie shook her head and buried her face in her hands. "Mag, I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry. I just... I got to a point where I thought I would never see you again. And I just felt so lonely all of the time, that it was eating me up inside. And then I met Kate. And she couldn't fill the void, but... it helped."

C.T splashed water on her face for a good two minutes, just trying too calm herself down. She had been ready too throw down with some human in a diner over a girl that wasn't even hers. Yea Mag was her friend, but C.T should have more control than that. She had never been that protective before. Not when Esther wasn't involved. Mag had called C.T a sister once. That was like family. Maybe that's why she had been so ready to fight for her. Still was. Shaking her head C.T turned off the water, and exited the restroom stepping back in the diner, she noted that their table was a lot more empty than it had been, Esther and Kate were missing. C.T raised her eyes at Mag who gestured towards the door, and C.T nodded, walking outside careful not too stir up anymore conflict. --- "I've been thinking, about what it would be like, to up and leave this place without you with me." Mag said speaking softly to Jennie, "The thought alone really tears me up inside." Mag admitted, and she could see that Jennie felt the same ache at the thought. "It wouldn't be right, if you left this place with anyone but me." "Mag-" "No, it wouldn't be right, and you know it wouldn't be." "Mag-" "Tell me, tell me this is what you want, tell me you really want to leave, with her" --- "I didn't come out here for trouble." Kate said softly too C.T who was doing a very good job up until then of pretending the woman didn't exist. But now she turned too her. "I'm sure you didn't, but seeing you here just makes me wonder," C.T started, nodding her head towards the should be couple in the Diner. "When you started dating, did you know that your time with her was borrowed."--- "I can't do this, Kate didn't, she doesn't deserve this." Jennie protested digging into her purse for her wallet she was going to pay for her and Kate's drinks and just run. "And I do? What are you just going to run away from this?" Mag asked, her question was a harsh one but it came from a place of desperation, there was no malice too it. "Don't try and guilt me like that woman, C.T did. I know what I've done Mag." Jennie glared, that chilling glare that always made Mag shiver, but not in fear, her ex was always so hot when she was mad. "No, I will guilt trip you with everything I have, until the guilt forms a lump in your chest, and weighs you down. I don't want you to be able to think about anything but me, and what has happened. Because I want you to feel so guilty that you have too come back." "Mag, I can't, I can't do this" Jennie stood up but Mag was faster grabbing her hand, and keeping her from going anywhere. "Mag-" "Please! Don't leave me." --- "Touch that door and I will break your arm." C.T said, stepping in front of Kate as she tried to move back into the diner, she had seen the conversation growing heated and had wanted to intervene sooner, but as soon as Mag grabbed Jennie's hand it was go time. But C.T was having none of it, she wasn't bluffing, if Kate tried to get back in the restaurant and stop what was happening. C.T would hurt her, and she wouldn't be discreet about it.

Esther was uncomfortable with this whole situation. This didn't feel right to her. Even though she cared about Mag, and even though she thought Jennie had done some pretty shitty things and was currently among Esther's list of least favorite people, this just didn't feel... okay. Jennie didn't seem worth Mag's time anymore. She had hurt Mag, maybe irreparably so. Esther was afraid Mag would be even more crushed if she kept dragging this out. If Mag just walked away, would she feel better or worse? But Esther was going to support her, despite her doubts and concerns. She stepped over to C.T., standing beside her to help block the door, arms folded across her chest. She didn't look as confident as C.T. or as strong, but she wouldn't budge.
"Step. Aside," Kate growled, face contorted in a dark grimace.
--
"M-Mag, I'm sorry, but I just--I can't," Jennie said, voice escalating as the tension began to skyrocket. She jerked her arm, trying to break free from Mag's grip, but it was no use. Mag was strong. "It isn't fair--"
"No, you're right, it's not fair," Mag replied, her voice wavering on the border between frustrated and desparate. "I gave up everything to keep you safe. It was for you, Jennie. And when I come back, you're with someone else."
"Please, stop this--"
"We are supposed to be together," Mag argued, trying to pull Jennie closer to her. "I've thought about you every day--it's what kept me moving forward!"
--
Watching Jennie struggling unsuccessfully to get away from Mag was only continuing to fuel Kate's anger. This C.T. girl was really beginning to piss her off. Tearing her eyes from the window, Kate decided enough was enough and pulled back her arm to throw a punch right at C.T.
--
"Let's leave now," Mag said. "We don't have to stay here. We can leave together and never come back."
"I can't, Mag!" Jennie insisted, still trying to get away. She was growing steadily more desparate, though whether because she was afraid Mag's words were making her change her mind or because she didn't want to be around Mag anymore, it was difficult to tell.
"Why, Jennie?" Mag asked. "Why not?!"
"Don't make me say it!"
"Say what?"
Jennie pulled forcefully one last time. "I-I don't--I don't love you anymore!"

C.T hadn't expected to be in a fight so soon, especially not after all that had just happened. But if Kate wanted to swing then so be it. It was her mistake. Of course C.T would exercise the proper restraint to make sure Kate wasn't too hurt, but she was going to teach the girl a lesson for sure. When Kate threw the first punch, C.T stepped forward grabbed her arm, and swung her out of view of the mirror, so no one inside could see what she would do to her next. --- "Stop lying to me! You know I know! I can feel it!" Jennie stopped struggling and collapsed in her chair, holding her free hand to her face. "You said that you would never use it on me, you said you would always trust me." "And you said you would never lie to me, so I would never have too use it." Mag whispered, sitting down again, but not releasing Jennie's hand. "How can you say something like that, and not expect me to look? If it was true, it would kill me. Jennie I would die." Mag spoke weakly. "I don't want you to die Mag." Jennie responded just as weakly, taking Mag's emotional response a little too literally, but after spending so much time thinking that the girl might just be dead, she just couldn't hear those words. Mag laughed a little, a small chuckle at Jennie's words. "I won't die if you kiss me." --- "ARGH!" "If you don't move, it won't hurt." C.T had Kate, in an arm lock, and was standing above the woman. It was a simple hold, Kate down on her knees while C.T held her arm twisted at the shoulder above her. If Kate tried to stand or do anything, she was just going to end up dislocating her shoulder, so it was best for her to sit there and wait until C.T wanted to release her. "Why are you doing this huh? She chose me? Can't you just accept that." "I won't accept it until Mag accepts it, and until she has the time too change Jennie's mind, and guess what, you are going to give her that time. Because unlike you. Mag has someone like me too watch her back. And if you try and interfere again, I really will rip your arm off and suffer the consequences."--- "Just one kiss." "I don't think I should." "But you want to!" "Stop using your powers on me!" "Only if you kiss me." "..." (Ok so Mag's powers is basically the ability to read ones emotions as colors, so right now Jennie would be glowing a bright pink, of love and embarrassment. C.T and Kate would be glowing blue, which is anger. Esther would be orange with concern.)

Kate growled again, this time lower and deeper. She wanted to break free from C.T.'s hold, but some furious experimental wiggles had confirmed her suspicion that she wouldn't get out without some dislocated limbs or a few broken bones. After a few more seconds squirming to try and test C.T.'s hold, Kate stopped. "Fine, Jennie can hold her own, anyway," she scoffed. "I'm confident she has already chosen me. I don't need to be in there to be sure."
Esther was still by the window, though at the edge where the glass met brick so that she wasn't obvious. It seemed to heated conversation had slowed, cooled down, and things were better. Was that a smile she saw on Mag's face? And Jennie's, too? These were good signs, but Esther was still worried for Mag. She couldn't help feeling that even the best of outcomes for this situation could turn sour.
--
Jennie glanced at the window. She didn't see Kate anymore. Maybe... maybe just one kiss. One. Mag was right--she wanted to, so badly. She chewed her lip as she looked at Mag again. "Alright, you win," she said, sighing in defeat, a worn smile on her face. "But you've got to promise me that once it's over, you'll accept my decision." Whatever it was; Jennie was becoming steadily less and less certain of what she should do, and she hadn't been sure in the first place.
"I don't know that I can do that," Mag replied, frowning.
"Mag, please. Do you want the kiss or not?" Jennie offered a cute, lopsided grin, trying to keep the mood light. Well, as light as it could be, given the circumstances.
Jennie's bright, glowing aura gave Mag confidence that she would be Jennie's choice in the end. But did she want to risk being wrong? She a ran a hand in her hair, then nodded reluctantly. She wasn't sure that she was going to stick by her promise if this didn't swing in her favor, and she was pretty sure Jennie understand that, too. But it didn't matter. Not yet.
Mag's and Jennie's eyes met, and Mag tucked a few stray strands of hair behind Jennie's ear sweetly. Then she leaned in and the two kissed. Mag had almost forgotten what this felt like. For a moment, she was sure she was coming undone.
It lasted for a while, and when it ended, neither of them spoke. Until Jennie closed her eyes, breathed in deeply, and muttered softly under her breath, "Dammit." She knew what she had to do now. There were no longer any doubts in her mind. Squeezing Mag's hand, she prepared herself for when she had to face Kate.
--
Esther's eyes widened as she witnessed the kiss. And although she wasn't always very observant, she still recognized the look on Jennie's face when the moment came to a close. Clarity, like the fog had cleared and the decision was plain as day, but also regret. "C.T.," Esther said, continuing to look through the window. "Let go of her. It's over."

C.T didn't say anything after Esther gave the order, she just released Kate and stood up, turning and looking at Esther and towards the window, as Kate stood up beside her, feeling the woman glaring daggers into the side of her face C.T looked back too her and raised a brow. If Kate wanted round two she would give it too her, but Kate had heard Esther as well. She knew whatever had happened inside was over and she, like C.T were wondering about the outcome, they hadn't seen any of what had happened inside. --- "If you can't tell her, I'll do it for you. I won't mind if she gets mad at me." Mag offered as she and Jennie neared the door, she hadn't thought this part of the deal through, she knew telling Kate would also hurt Jennie as well, and Kate didn't seem like the type to take this sort of thing laying down. "No, it has to be me. I'm the one who played with her heart like this, part of me knew this day would come. I should have just waited for you." Mag smiled, feeling a bit of pride swell in her chest at that, even though she knew she shouldn't be proud in this very moment. "Yea well, I hate to urt the girl, but I'm glad I won you back." ---- "No..." Kate whispered, as she watched Mag and Jennie approach. She didn't like that they were both smiling, and she didn't like that they were walking so close together, hand in hand. "Why, why did I listen too you?" Kate demanded of Esther, for if she had not followed the girl outside, she could have stopped all of this. "Don't blame my love for your mistakes, and if it makes you feel better, she probably saved you from watching them reunite, right in front of you. Mag may not look it, but she always gets her way, she's very persistent. She would have gotten her back, no matter what. It might not have been today, but it would have happened." C.T said stepping forward and holding the door open for Mag and Jennie to step out. "Jene-" "Kate I'm sorry." Jennie cut Kate off and apologized instantly, bowing her head in shame for what she had done. Surprisingly Mag bowed as well, even lower than Jennie. "I am also sorry, but I just couldn't lose her, not too you. Not too anyone." "Forget it. I just-. ******** it. If this is what you want, then so be it." Kate let out a frustrated sigh, her brow furrowed in anger, as she pushed past Mag and Jennie and headed back into the Diner. "I'll drive you home!" Jennie called after her, causing Kate too pause for a moment and turn back too her. "Forget it, it's not my home anymore." Kate said before turning back around. "I'll be around for my stuff tomorrow." "I'm sorry Jennie." Mag apologized, now owing to her girlfriend, who in turn punched her in the shoulder. "Don't be, it had to be done." "Back too violence already?" "You love me for it. "Are they flirting?" C.T asked as she walked up besides Esther. "Do we do that?"

Esther looked at C.T. with left brow quirked and an amused and playfully hurt expression on her face. "Wow, if you've gotta ask that, I guess I really need to step up my game." She and C.T. were walking behind Jennie and Mag, allowing Esther a perfect view of the couple's newfound unity and happiness. It was unexplanably amazing to see Mag so cheerful, her eyes bright and her smile wide. Esther felt more relaxed now, knowing the looming threat was gone and things had worked out in Mag's favor. She just prayed this wouldn't backfire somehow.
"I don't know what to do now," Jennie admitted, wringing her hands together. She was clearly excited and relieved to be in her rightful place by Mag's side, but she didn't know where to go. Home? But was that her home still? Technically it was, but most of the time she had spent in it was with Kate. She wasn't sure she wanted to be there. Where did Mag live?
"You should come back with us," Mag said quickly, grinning. She could tell Jennie didn't want to go back to her apartment. Maybe now that Supernaturals were allowed back in public spaces, they could get a house together or something. The idea excited Mag--as much as she loved the warehouse, she needed a change to a more homey, private space--but she tried not to get too ahead of herself. Even if it felt like she and Jennie had never spent time apart, they had, and this was a conversation for another day.
Esther beamed and quickened her pace so she was walking backwards in front of Mag and Jennie, facing them. "Or," she started, "you two could have a date night! Start to make up for lost time. I mean, we're already here. Why not? C.T. and I can chaperone. From a distance, of course."

"I just hope we don't look so.... mushy." C.T said waving her hand towards Mag and Jennie who seemed to be melting into each other. Had she and Esther been like that? Lord she hoped not. "I really hope I was a bit more graceful, when I was latching onto you." C.T said, shaking her head. She doubted it. She had been reduced too tears not too long ago. Mag didn't look like she was about to cry, yet. But Jennie was looking very emotional, and C.T didn't know if she could watch another overload of emotions from these two without vomiting. C.T almost wanted to go on that trip with Esther, this very moment, just to get away from all of this, mush! Jennie would be coming home with them, so she couldn't escape from it there, and Esther had just offered too spend the night out with them, so she was trapped. Is this what it was like to be the man of a relationship? Forced to go out, and do things you might not want to do because your woman roped you in? It was brutal. "Yea! It can be like a double date!" Mag replied to Esther excitedly, Jennie seeming to already be back into a routine with Mag, just rolled her eyes at her girlfriends excitement. "A double date?" C.T asked, not entirely sure of the concept, in her mind she imagined, Mag and Jennie going on two dates in a single night, but that sounded foolish, and C.T didn't understand where they fit in on this 'double date' "Yea, two couples on a date, Jennie and I. You and Esther. It's something you do when you and your other half want to hang out with friends who are also in a relationship, that or you are dating someone new and you don't really trust them too much so you need friends around in case something goes-" "Now I know where I remember you from, you were on tv earlier." Jennie said, suddenly having an epiphany. C.T had noticed her staring at her thoughtfully every so often, this must have been why. C.T coughed self consciously. "Yes, that was me." Not yet used too her new found, but albeit small amount of fame, was slightly embarrassed by the scrutiny. "Hearing your story was so amazing, I can't believe you are still so strong after everything you've been through. I'm so happy that Mag had someone like you protecting her." "Hey! I watched her back too! Besides, what about my struggle? I went through some stuff too!" "Yea but you weren't on tv." Jennie said teasingly, meaning no harm by it. "Yet! But I will be soon, I have an interview coming up." "Ohhhh, exciting, will I get to be there, too watch?" "You know it." "Please god, kill me now."

Mag and Jennie's interactions were maybe a little sappy for Esther, but she definitely wasn't having the reaction to them that C.T. was. And it was a little hilarious. She was sure C.T. had been just as mushy in public before, at least in her own special way, and so seeing her have such a strong response... Esther grinned and swallowed a chuckle, falling back to walk beside C.T. again. She hooked her arm with her girlfriend's as they walked.
Watching C.T. be embarrassed by Jennie's realization was sort of adorable, too. Esther tried to reign in her smirk. Then Jennie and Mag were back at flirting again, and C.T. was making sarcastic remarks, and...
"Y'know what, on second thought, how about this," Esther started. "We'll meet you at a restaurant for dinner around seven o' clock, and we can have our double date then. But until then, I'm sure you two will want some time alone, so C.T. and I will break off for a bit. Sound okay?"
Mag blinked and glanced briefly at Jennie, apparently surprised by the change in plans. "Yeah, sure, that's fine, I guess," she responded shrugging. Although the uncertainty disappeared quickly as she took Jennie's hand and stared lovingly at the woman she had just won back.
"Awesome," Esther replied. "Text us when you find where you want to eat. We'll see you in a little bit." Still smiling, she tugged C.T. in the opposite direction as Mag and Jennie. Clinging loosely to her, Esther said, "So, how about we counterbalance all of that mushiness with some rough-and-tumble activities. Like, we could join a fight club, or maybe we could get into wrestling for a night. What do you think?" Esther was mostly joking about those options, but she would consider either of them if C.T. expressed a desire to try them out.

"I thank you for saving me from them." C.T said, gratitude clear. It wasn't that she didn't like Mag, or Jennie though she didn't know the girl enough to have a solid opinion, it's just only so much fluff that C.T could handle. Unless it was coming from Esther. Understandably she could handle just about anything as long as it came from Esther... well everything except for this fight club business. "What would you know about a fight club?" C.T asked raising a brow, and cracking a smirk, she wondered if Esther was just bluffing, she didn't look entirely serious. "Is this also something that you normal girls partake in?"

Esther let go of C.T. and stretched her arms behind her back, clasping her hands together. Give C.T. a complete break from mushiness for a little while. "Oh, yeah, all the time," she replied, still grinning. "Although we 'normal girls' call it Catfight Club." Esther turned slightly and punched C.T. in the arm--not hard enough to hurt, but hard enough to get a reaction and demonstrate that she was upping the toughness until they saw Mag and Jennie again.
"C'mon, let's do it," she said, smirking mischievously. Honestly, Esther had no clue how to find a fight club, or if they even existed here or in general, but C.T. had taken her more seriously than she had planned, and Esther was going to follow through. If C.T. needed a fight club to make her feel sane again, so be it. "I've been working on those moves you showed me," she told her girlfriend. It was true; Esther had practiced them every day, trying to get better and stronger so she could be her own or C.T.'s protector if the need ever arose. "I think I could hold my own in the ring."

"Catfight club?" C.T couldn't help but too laugh at that one. "I don't think you can be considered a normal girl if you join a club with that name." All jokes aside, C.T didn't think this was a good idea. Even if Esther had improved and could handle her own. Even if Esther somehow got into a fight and manhandled her opponent, C.T would still want too hurt her opponent for even attempting too harm Esther. "How about we go to a gym and we fight, I promise I'll go easy on you, and we'll compete for a prize." C.T said with a smile, leaning in and closing in on Esther's face. "If I win, I get a kiss from you."
