"That's good to hear." Michael said and smiled. He then sniffed himself and chuckled. "I'll be right back. I need to take a shower." He said and kissed her again before letting her go. He stopped for a second and smiled. "You must really love me to put up with my stink." He said and laughed. He then went and grabbed clothes and took a shower.

Alyssa smiled and laughed. "I didn't notice it" she said honestly. She watched him go take a shower and put away the dishes and then went to sit on the couch. "Hmm...maybe I should get a job..." She thought.

Michael took a quick shower. He got out and dried off then got dressed. Once done, he brought his dirty clothes out and put them in the laundry. Soon the eggs were soon boiling and Michael finished making the egg salad sandwiches. He the put them in the fridge and sat next to Alyssa on the couch. "What's on your mind?" He asked, seeing she was last st in thought.

Alyssa thought about it knowing she couldn't just rely on Michael for anything. She was going to get her inheritance her grandmother left her after graduation but that was a few months away. She looked at him when he sat next her. "Hmm? I was just thinking that I should get a job" she said.

"If you really want to, we can go looking before we head to the beach." Michael said as he too Alyssa's hand in his. If she wanted to get a job, he wasn't going to tell her no. "I think there are a few places looking for part-timers that a close by." He said. If she worked close to home, she could walk if she want. If not then he had no problem driving her. "Now that I think about it, do you have your license?" He asked.

"No I want to wait for my bruises to heal before I start looking for a job" she said glad he was being supportive of her decision. "No I've never been behind the wheel of a car before" she said holding his hand.

"Okay. And I can teach you to drive if you want." Michael said. He smiled warmly at Alyssa. If she wanted to wait until she was fully healed, then he wouldn't push her. Besides he had enough money put away to cover the first two months rent. "Speaking of work, I'll be at my job after school tomorrow. I can drop you off here before I go though." He told her.

"Really?" She said and smiled. "That would be great" she said and hugged him. "Oh okay" she said and smiled when he said he would drop her off before going to work. "Should we go to the beach now?" She asked him. She wasn't exactly dressed for it but she didn't have a wide range of clothing options.

Michael hugged Alyssa back and smiled. "Yeah. Let's go." He said then stood up he helped her to her feet then went into the kitchen. "Could you grab some drinks Ally?" He asked as he grabbed the small basket of egg salad sandwiches.

Alyssa smiled and nodded. "Sure" she said and grabbed some sodas and waters for them. She held his hand and walked out to the car with him excited about going to the beach again.

Michael could tell how excited Alyssa was and smiled. He was pretty excited himself. He helped her into the car then got in himself. He then drove to the beach, a warn smile on his face as he held her hand. After a little over an hour of driving they arrived at the beach an got out.

Alyssa smiled holding his hand and looking out the window as they drove. She turned on the radio listening to music as they drove. She smiled when they got to the beach and got out of the car. "Should we take everything with us or just come back later?" She asked him.

"Hmm. Let's grabbed everything later." Michael said as he held Alyssa's hand. They started walking down the beach and he couldn't help but smile. It felt almost like a dream co.e true for him. He was able to ask out his crush from middle s book and was a tually living with her. Yeah they didn't meet under good circumstances, but now he had her and was detremined to keep Ber safe.

Alyssa nodded and smiled holding his hand and walking along the beach with him. After these past few years she stopped thinking she could have anything like this. She was happy that she finally could have this and with someone like Michael was even better to her. She smiled looking around at the ocean and the people as they walked.

Michael looked over at the ocean and smiled. "Its beautiful out." He said softly as he put an arm around Alyssa's waist and held her close. "I love seeing you smile Ally."
