NPC Elder the woman chuckled "More times then the age of the tree" she joked, but her voice hinted she wasn't joking. she seemed calm the entire time not seemingly bothered by the fact he was not from around "Yes usually just the sight of humans can cause some to be alittle violent...and some children whom are pretending to be human often are skilled at it to the point we cant smell them" she explained as he was seeming curious about the leader of the tree "Ah yes...sadly we do not have a Queen or king we are ran by more democratically...we have a council and an Elder, the elder has more power in influence but both play an important part of the system at the tree" she informed him "but yes I do know where the Elder is...infact she is the only person to know our entire history from memory" she said in a chuckle "though may i ask...why are you holding four boxes?" she asked clearly noticing all of them
Ray chuckled he believed what she said even if it did sound like a joke.I dont have that level of magic to hide my scent though from what I've seen humans don't identify by the way yout smell but by look. NPC Elder "i'm quite familiar with the way humans identify, I have some...connections outside of the tree...so I understand the lack of need of perfect facades" she chuckled. the boy seemed abit impressed by the elders memory "well... is the granddaughter of the original three kitsunes and they date back to more than thousands of years ago...if not more" she told him "so Then if you still wish to pay respects, whom did you want to see for the respect, or are you simply here to respect the tree...both ways are just fine" she told him "well I'm sure if you ask the elder she would say there is...the council may not be so kind for such things as it is a supposed outsider...but the elder knows the children of the tree and I'm sure she will see you as one as well" she told him, only to see the blank papers "quite the collection of blank paper, are you a writer?" she asked him
Ray nodded and listened to her "I wouldn't even know where to start looking for her than. she could look old gray hair and face that looked like she was death. But have the body of a super model or maybe she has green hair from her connection to the tree. Maybe shes looks 12 and plays with the kids." he laughed at the idea of such a elder looking like a 12 year old to play with the kids with out them even knowing. "of course this could all be a lie can you could have killed the elder and the council members and are just luring me into a trap." he said with a chuckle and a smile still holding the talisman in his hand. if that happens to be the case. his eyes shifted from normal to horizontal and sharp with his anger. "ill turn your brain to mush in your own head" as he said that the talisman burst with magic as his hair stood on end his tails coming back up. After a moment he stopped quickly and bowed his head again much deeper this time. i'm so sorry my mind started to wonder off when i didn't see any other kitsune around my imagination went crazy and i went into defense mode such a powerful fox like the elder would never fall so easy with out making a fight anyways. he still had his head down as he spoke. i'm a writer of a sort. he said leaving out what it really was. it was unlikely this woman would attack him at this point but there was always a need to hide what they really were until he knew more. More than anything she may not attack him but another may very well. id say more of a drawer. in the blink of an eye he took out his brush and a piece of paper from his tail and started to draw her quickly. in less than 30 seconds he was done and handed her the paper for you as my way of saying sorry. he handed to her and on it was a stick figure with really big ears and an oversized chest for a stick. it was so badly drawn but in less than a 30 second its about what could be expected. Atlaset on the front on the bad how ever was the real drawing that one he was secretly doing behind his back with his tails from the very moment she came into view. This one being much more detailed and better looking and actually looked like her even though it had no color and was put on a small piece of paper.

As he would make his way up the stairs if he had looked back the woman would be gone, much as if she wasn't there at all. as he would find his way up there and sit down, through the door a voice would be heard "Normally people knock on doors that are closed...So try that next time, come in youngling" the voice stated it was clear the person speaking was able to hear everything outside. Though when he would enter the room he would see a big round office like area that is mostly wood, near a window like opening in the wall that looked out into the entirety of the surrounding area around the tree. in front of that was a large wooden desk and a chair that was facing the window hiding the persons persona from him, there were two seats in front of the desk which were asking to be seated in.
Ray's ears shot up when he heard the voice call at him. He was praising the tree was cut short. He got up and walked inside upon walking inside he could not see the face. But he knew who it was because she had his talisman that she just gave the lady. Snapping his fingers his boxes opened and out came 4 sheets of paper and one in his hand i told you that if you were luring me into a trap i would turn your brain to mush! he shouted coming to the WRONG conclusion. He spun his hand and the paper moved in a circle before unleashing ice spikes at raid fire at her. While his other hand started t glow as he said a short chant and started to place the talisman on his head.

the ice spikes would hit the chair causing the chair to spin yet when it spinned no one was sitting there. it would be behind him that the voice came from this time the woman was holding the talisman that he gave her between her fingers "and i said I hope you don't resort to such extremes" she stated before he would realize her legs were frozen to the floor making it impossible to even move. if he would turn around she would be gone again, his time pulling the spikes from the chair. a voice would come from the other side of the door "Elder are you alright i heard some unusual sounds" the woman finished pulling the spikes from the chair clearly showing the holes "I'm fine...just some youngling showing off their abilities...go back down" she told the voice before she snapped her finger and the moment Ray blinked he would see the chair was back to normal, and this time she wouldn't be disappearing as she sat down "So is there a reason why you gave me a talisman downstairs with a poor drawing of me...instead of the one you were using your tails to make?" she asked him placing it on the desk "oh...and if you don't mind calming down, i'd much rather have a chat when your not frozen to the floor" she told him snapping her fingers having the ice disappear
Ray followed her movements after activating his Psychic the X on his face glowing blue as the rest of his face grew markings. he was watching her aura and even though she was being attacked her aura never changed from none threatening. when he was sitting his markings were still active as he was staring at her. it wasn't that he wouldn't talk it was he couldn't talk right now. When she asked about the talisman with the drawing he lifted up his hand taking the drawing out of her pocket and showing it to her the bad part. He than moved his hand lightly and slowly to turn it around showing the real drawing on the back. he sat there his eyes never leaving her gaze as he reading her aura deeper and deeper. He was stuck in mind mode for a few more seconds before he could undo it him self so he would be quiet till than.

my bad XD, im tired so i accidentally missed it/ and if your curious what her power is she basically can manipulate time, going into the past/future and not just herself which is why i stated his feet were frozen, she can flash freeze by speeding up time in select area causing either fire or ice depending on speed lol(oddities are fun sometimes)
NPC Elder The woman chuckled seeing him flip the talisman over using nothing(which was on the table in my post), the woman would remain seated as she just waited for him to finish whatever pausing effect he was doing, as it seemed like he wasn't answer for some reason but he was much calmer. Though during his aura reading, he would notice that her aura kept disappearing when she disappeared, never even leaving a trace behind, much like it never existed. once he would be finished with the ability of the talisman she would speak up "So...mind sitting down? I'd rather not leave this little encounter as a negative one" she stated with a smile.
Ray watched her intently before the markings were removed from him and put back on the paper. he gasped and shook his head looking at her it's like you are a glitch in time. he said rubbing his eyes and putting the paper away. putting the blank ones in his tails. if you were the elder why did you not say so from the start? it would have stopped the whole attacking you thing and not given me a massive migraine. he looked at her and paused for a moment this has happen many times before hasn't it? he asked clearly getting the read of her being a real kitsune one that plays tricks and all.

Ray put his hand on his chin and leaned on his elbow I don't know what's scarier the fact that you know why i haven't come from here and my family mission or that you know my name and face in full. I bet you could do the whole traveling gipsy thing if you got bored of living here. he said rubbing his head a little pulling out another piece of paper this one having notes on it. it goes slow elder before taking out some talismans and lining them up on the table. showing all the types he had magic, mind, body, weapon and a blank one. though i have learned much in the ways of magic and gained my forth tail. he waves with his 4th tail. i am missing something in my magic. i did some studying and thought maybe my mission magic was time. after learning what i could i wrote markings on one of my talismans ancient ones of time. once it was done i put my magic in it. he picked up the blank one and looked at her with one eye covered by it. it folded in on it self till it vanished into thin air. so that was clearly not what i was missing. he said with a little laugh putting it back down and put a hand on each talisman that was marked. Each one lit up the magic one lighting up with a tame fire ball not released from the talisman but clearly could tell what it was. his next was weapon and it had a mini sized throwing start spinning in place in the air. his next one mind was a bright blue light that glew in place, while the one next to it body was red glowing. the last one the anti madness was dark and billowing dark nothingness into the air. when he put his hand on the last one it sparked for a moment but nothing showed up showing there was something but not knowing what it was. as i had said before i came here to pay respects but there was another thing i came for. i wanted to ask for guidance on where i could even get started looking for my last part of my self. he said looking at the elder again

"Well you don't have to think of it as scary...for everyone else its just magic" she stated chuckling "don't think much about it...I know quite a bit and I need to know whom all the children of the tree are" she responded "Sadly I quite enjoy living where I am now...and with my current duties...I'm quite kept and I rather prefer staying" she added only to listen to the progress of the next tree being slow. The conversation then moved on to magic itself. "You know, Some magic is not meant to be touched, Time...is one of those types a magic which is nt meant by the constructs of our own dimentions...i would know...Breaking the barrier that is set by our own world has concequences" she told him "I would recommend personally to try and avoid any talismans that can affect time" she told him as she leans on her hand. After demonstrating his current talismans and asking for some guidance "hmmm...you know Every child of the tree whom was born outside of the tree...have all seemed to come to me with simular quests" she told him "Every Kitsune is different, some are meant to do the things others wont or cant do....some are meant to lead...and some are meant to seek out intellect or new heights" she started "Thats where you need to find out, is what it is you are trying to be...and when you do, That will be when you need to figure out what your going to do with this path...what is the end goal" she continued "Most kitsunes take their whole lives figuring it out, while some get it like that" she stated as she snapped her fingers "I myself...took Longer than you can imagine to figure out that question" she finished "Thats what i recommend figuring out in hope for your goal" she finally said "but don't have too much hope in gaining another tail...very few can get 4 or 5...I myself have only been able to keep one..." she stated smiling
