People were dropping like flies. Focused on the Queen and her monsters it had taken Polaris a little while to notice just how badly things were going on the battlefield. Fellow senshi and knights were struggling, she herself was barely hanging in there.
Another tidal wave was unleashed and the Princess of magnetism struggled to avoid it, jumping and using her wings to help slow her fall a little. Unfortunately the Queen's plan had worked, by avoiding the wave she hadn't noticed the beam, and as it seared through the feathers and flesh of one of her wings, Polaris plummeted to the ground.
She had to clench her teeth to keep back the noises that wanted to escape her. Maybe she'd been lucky up until now, seldom getting hurt as badly as she felt today. Her wing was screaming with pain, so much that she almost wanted to henshin down just to relieve herself of the sensation. Her body felt like it had been hit by a truck. Tomorrow she was sure she would have bruises on top of her bruises.
It was that thought that finally hit her. Did she even have the luxury of a tomorrow? Did the Earth?
With shakey arms Polaris lifted herself upward, struggling to stand, before wiping her hands onto her already dirty and torn dress. There had to be a tomorrow for this planet.. for all the senshi and knights.. and all the people sleeping obliviously in their homes across the city. Even if it cost her her own.
"Magnetic Attraction!" Given the two targets, and her smaller size and weight, she knew she was the one about to go flying and braced herself the best she could for impact. Arms crossed to hopefully protect her face and chest. Maybe she'd even get lucky and her elbows would be the first thing to hit.
((She's made herself and the Queen magnetically attractive, so Polaris is going to end up stuck to her. This usually lasts about a minute, but I could see the Queen being able to break it faster.
It doesn't really do much damage, just a little impact damage, mostly it's just a distraction))
After unceremoniously being reintroduced to gravity Bimini had no time at all to prepare for the wall of water. It smashed into him and he could do little more then sputter for air once it had passed.
The burn of light was enough to draw his attention however back to the task at hand. Yelping in pain and frusteration, Bimini looked longingly at his empty bowl, wishing he could pour magic water all over himself and hide from the pain. But he'd already lost all that water hadn't he? All over the ground without ever using any.
With a growl Bimini heaved his metal bowl at the Queen. Stupid bowl. Stupid shadow b***h.

The floating effect faded and Athene found himself dropped to the ground in time to get hit by a surge of water strong enough to knock his feet out from under him. It was perhaps a mercy as it meant that the the Shade Queen's second attack, some sort of heat and light beam passed harmless by, completely missing him. He hurt, he'd taken his fair share of knocks and it was starting to take its toll, Athene taking longer than he'd liked to manage to force himself to his feet. He wasn't sure how much more fight he had in him, not when the cut in his side was twinging painfully and his body felt like one large bruise but Athene planned to give it his best shot - after all he wasn't out yet. He didn't think he was up to his eternal attack so instead he raised his left hand and called on his super senshi ability "Blue beads of Nazar – intenstated!" and directed the beads that formed towards the Shade Queen. Mayhaps they'd hit, mayhaps they wouldn't but Athene was hoping that they'd at least be a distraction, although that didn't stop him from scooping up a medium-sized snapped off branch and trying to also throw in the Shade Queen's direction. And then as he tried to watch for other Shades he spotted another ally, "Ida" it was more of a croak than anything else, but he was glad to see the Orchid senshi and fellow PSSG team mate. Athene HP: 11/50 Quote: Blue beads of Nazar – intenstated: Athene’s super level attack takes the form of a ‘ball of beads’ that can trap a target with ill will towards either Athene or one of his allies in a barrier of beads if it connects. (Ill will means that the target wishes to cause some form of harm to either Athene or his ally). Target can still jump, block, or strike with their weapon - but they cannot leave the ring of beads. Beads can be smashed by someone outside the barrier, smashing half (24 to 30) will bring down the barrier. Duration: About thirty seconds --------------------------------------------------------------------- For a moment Falias hadn't been aware of too much, that white light attack combined with knocking to the tree conspiring to have him briefly out of it. He became aware of his surroundings, the fact the he was no longer floating and the fact that he hurt way too much just in time to find himself knocked back against the tree trunk by a surge of water, unable to bit back the pained groan as his back collided once again with the rough bark of the tree. The Shade Queen's second attack however missed, the beam of heat and light nowhere near him. Just as well really since Falias wasn't sure that he was up to trying dodge another attack so soon, much less actually manage to do so. His body protested as he bent down, picked up a rock and tried to hurl it at the Queen Shade (Finsternis), pain making his arms feel shaky, the throw more than a little off. Falias didn't care though, although he hoped that he'd maybe get lucky and maybe hit a Shade if he couldn't get the Queen Shade - although he really wanted to get the Queen Shade. He was out of it enough that it hadn't sunk in that the Queen Shade was the only one remaining, the others having disappeared. Turning his head he tried to find Amethyst, hoping that the other had managed to do something about the Shade. Much as Falias planned to stick it out to the end, he knew in his heart of hearts that he couldn't take much more of this, even though he wasn't going to verbally admit it. Falias HP: 4/50

This was it... either they took her down now, or there would be no second chance. Drawing all her shades into herself like that... the queen was making a last ditch effort, but that didn't mean it would be any less effective than what she had done to them thus far.
When the attacks came, Ida braced herself, but it wasn't enough... the tidal wave threw her back and slammed her into the ground, sending all the air rushing from her lungs. She had no time to catch it as the beam of light slammed into her chest and pinned her down, making her whole body burn. Dang it... she couldn't stop now, they were so close...
Nearby, the sound of her name drew her attention and Ida rolled to her side, struggling up to find her team mate.
"Athene." She coughed as she sucked in air and stumbled to her feet, making her way to his side. "You okay? I'm not going to be in this for much longer." The orchid senshi admitted, feeling all of the abuse her body had taken so far. She felt pummeled by a truck... or maybe a bus.
Turning to watch Athene's beads fly to surround the queen, Ida knelt and called up her power one more time.
"Heavenly Orchid Arrows!" She called out as she pulled back the string and let loose her third and final arrow at the Queen. As it flew towards their opponent, she sighed and wavered, feeling as though she had drained almost every last drop of her energy in that last attack... which she had. It would only be physical attacks from this point forward, if she could get on her feet again.

What was she doing now? Watching as it seemed that she drained, or ate, her shades he watched as she grew larger and seemed to recover some from the injuries they'd inflicted upon her. Would she heal up enough that she would beat them all? Could she do what she wanted to do - take over? Would they somehow fail? he hoped not. Despite his growing unease Benitoite felt himself standing straighter and gathering himself. He may not have his weapon but he would not back down either, even if she looked stronger to him.
He waited, watching, to see what she would do next. What else could she do to them? What attacks could she throw at them? And soon he had his answer and was throwing himself to the ground, grace and being clean be damned, he was not about to get struck by her attacks if he could help it. When he finally picked himself up off the ground it seemed the attacks had passed, why was it that she liked to do two attacks at once?

Wha-what was she - oh god. She was getting bigger. That was never good, never in anything he'd ever seen at least, what did this mean for all of them? He didn't like the sinking feeling him up and turning his stomach into a mess of knots.
As soon as she saw what was coming at him he went to find a safe place to hide. Looking around quickly, green eyes taking in everything around him, he didn't see a lot nearby. So quickly his mind was made up and he was running, as fast as he could, toward bushes at the edge of this large clearing. As he reached the bushes he jumped, uncaring of what he might hit when he landed, behind the bushes and crashed into the ground with a yelp and sharp intake of air. At least he could hope this would protect him from whatever she was doing, he actually had his fingers crossed.

She had seen those little shades be eaten up by their Queen, did the things have any feeling son that? Did they feel anything as it happened? For a moment she wondered about it, worried even perhaps, but as the Queen grew larger the knight of Polaris went to back away - way away. She didn't like this and without a weapon or some way to defend herself, she was pretty sure her little shield would not handle whatever the Queen was preparing to do, she tripped over a rock and landed hard on the ground. With her heel stuck in a divet she was trying to pull her heel free, or get her boot off, when she was ht with the wave of water, although it didn't look solid, taken by surprise as she had been so focused on her trapped heel. She had no time to recover, or prepare herself, when the next attack struck. She had only just gotten her heel free and was able to twist around so took the ray of light, and heat, to the side.
Why couldn't the water come after the burning heat of that second attack? that first attack left her more then soaking wet. She was sore and hurting and was hoping they could finish her off soon - very soon.

Serpentine: 46/50 (-4 from Snow Slip) First Dice = Serpentine Damage Roll Roll Results: Roll 1: Did not get hit by water (25) Roll 2: Did not get hit by ray (96) The large attacks were unexpected--and for a moment, Serpentine was so entranced by the appearances of such magic that he dropped his whip. He was not dumbstruck for long. He dashed away as quickly as he could, praying that he had not missed enough soccer practice to completely lose his endurance. He leapt over fallen individuals, not caring what type of Senshi, Knight, or Negaverse agent crossed his path. At this point of the fight, it was every man or woman for him/herself. His chest burned by the time he stopped, but the maneuver had given him what he sought. As others were splashed or fried, he remained unharmed. His ankle throbbed hideously from the swift running on his injury, but he ignored it as he once more turned his whip on the Eclipse Queen. They had to get her now... they had to get her before she could use those tremendous powers again. Otherwise, no matter what side of the war an individual fought on, everyone would lose. And the proud, vain Serpentine hated to lose. == Pasiphae: 48/50 (-2 from Natron) Second Dice = Pasiphae Damage Roll Roll 1: Did not get hit by water (14) Roll 2: Did not get hit by ray (42) Some of the confusion was lifting as the magics effects wore off, but Pasiphae's last action before fully becoming aware was to throw a nearby rock at the crazed Queen. The moment after the rock left her hand? She decided that it was an absolutely insane notion whenever a wave of water and a blinding ray of light were coming directly at her. Genymede was still safe within her shield... so the Shame Senshi reached for the nearby page and tried to position them both behind her. She just wasn't sure if she had time to call up another shield... they would have to hope that the current one held! The dreamy state lasted a tad longer than Amethyst would have liked it to and he really had the Shade Queen to thank for choosing to sacrifice her minions for goodness knew what other forms of hurt his captor might inflict upon him while he sat helpless on the ground and marvelled over the sight of the floating Senshis, Knights and Negaverse agents around him.
As soon as he felt able to leap into the fray of battle again, he got back onto his feet, rolling his shoulders as he observed the Shade Queen unleash yet another tidal wave that narrowly missed him. Feeling particularly lucky, he spotted a pretty good sized rock, picking it up and pulling his arm back before he launched it into the air towards the Shade Queen's back.
Satisfied with his own success, he turned to scan the area for Falias, waving to the Earth Page as he started towards him with the intent of regrouping prior to attempting another assault on the Shade Queen. In his semi-distracted state however, the Shade Queen's second attack managed to find its mark on the same leg that had been caught in it the first time round, the sudden searing sensation causing his knee to buckle before he eventually crumbled on his side with a pained cry.
