"Heh... Sure you will," Asher said as he returned the embrace. He had to refrain from planting a kiss on his brother's forehead; Leo wasn't a little kid anymore. "You think you'll be okay?" Of course, he knew Leo could take care of himself, but he worried that he would get lonely or bored. It made him regret making such a stupid mistake as try to lift that damned axe. "If you have problems in the first night, you can stay tomorrow night. Well, as long as you don't mind being in a boring hospital."

Leo was saddened by the fact that he needed to leave his brother, but it was indeed better than sleeping on an uncomfortable cot that was placed right by the window. "I'm sure. It'll just take some getting used to." Though he was sure that he would hate sleeping alone. Their apartment was small, but when he was alone it seemed as big as a mansion. Leo smiled a bit at the boring hospital bit, but it still didn't cure his sadness. "I'll see you tomorrow." he said softly, kissing his older brother's cheek before hopping off the bed and walking out of the room hesitantly.

Sasha had been waiting outside for Leo while her brother and friends went back to their car. She figured the boy would like a ride back to the apartment complex and she wasn't sure if he knew the way back from the hospital anyways. When she saw him, she tapped him on the shoulder to let him know she was there, "Want to hang out with us for a while?" she asked. "We can get you back to the apartment after, but for now, you should probably have some time to spare."

Leo jumped a bit at the tap but was glad it was only Sasha, her offer seemed logical enough. After all how would Leo be able to get home without having someone with him who could actually see where they're going. Leo nodded and took her arm. "Sure. I'll walk with you guys." he said sadly.

Sasha led Leo out of the hospital and toward Cherry's car, which had the rest of the gang waiting for them. Upon seeing the sad expression Leo had, she patted his shoulder. "Don't worry. Your brother will recover before you know it," she said cheerfully, but she wondered if it would help. It made sense, since she would also be sad if her own brother got hurt and had to stay in the hospital for months.

Leo slid inside the car and buckled himself, he could have cried if there weren't other people around. Leo felt as though he were saying goodbye forever, as if his brother would never recover. "Stop saying that please......I just want to go home....." he said softly, trying to contain his emotions as best he could; it would be rather embarrassing to cry in front of a girl.

The car ride was mainly silent, and Samuel and the twins discussed whether they should just go home or still go out as they had planned. Sasha, on the other hand, could not take her eyes off Leo. He seemed so heartbroken and alone and just hopeless, but she didn't want to say something for fear that she might make it worse.

Leo was glad nobody talked to him on the ride back, he would have much rather been alone anyways. Once the car stopped and Leo heard people getting out, he unbuckled and slid out himself. He took hold of Sasha's arm once more. "Take me home?" he asked softly. Once he stepped foot inside the familiar surroundings he felt more lonely than ever, his brother's scent still lingered making him miss Ash even more.

When Sasha saw the apartment complex, she realized then that the others decided to go home first. Once they got out, she proceeded to lead Leo to his home, staying outside once he entered the apartment. She hesitated to ask if she could keep him company, since she figured he would miss his brother dearly. She just wished there was something she could do for him.

Leo gave a heavy sigh and turned to face Sasha so she could understand him. "You can go now if you want...." he said softly, escorting her out of the apartment but when she finally stepped foot onto the concrete sidewalk Leo didn't let go of the little piece of shirt tail he was clinging to. He hung his head low so his hair was partially covering his eyes, he didn't want to be alone.

Sasha would have reluctantly walked away if it weren't for Leo holding her back. Surprised as she was, she simply smiled, turned around, and took his hand in her own. "Want me to stay with you?" she asked, hoping that he would accept. She didn't want to leave him alone, and she was sure that Leo didn't even want to be alone. Considering that he can't see, the silence must be terrible.

Leo nodded and rubbed his eyes a little bit. "You don't mind do you?" he asked her softly, feeling like he was keeping her from something more important and he definitely didn't want to make her stay if she didn't want to. "Y-you don't have to.....I could just turn the tv on for sound." he said softly, but that seemed even lonelier than being stuck in a house filled with silence.

Sasha just patted Leo's hand and stepped back into the apartment. "It's fine. I actually didn't want to leave you alone," she said as she closed the door. "If you want, I can stay over for the night. I'm sure my brother won't mind all that much. Well, maybe he'll be a bit wary since you're a boy, but that won't be too much of a problem." She glanced around the apartment and noticed how old and rundown it was. It would be a bit spooky to stay here alone...

Leo sniffled a bit, trying to keep his tears back. He closed the door behind her and made his way to the kitchen, placing his hands on her shoulders so he knew where she was and not bump into her. Leo grabbed the kettle and put more water in it before he placed it on a gradually heating burner. "We don't have much, but I can make some tea for you if you'd like." he said with a little smile, grabbing two mugs from the cupboard anyways merely out of habit.

Sasha would have refused, as she was never very fond of tea, but seeing Leo pull out two mugs made her change her mind. Once she saw Leo looking as if he was struggling not to cry, she couldn't help but hug him tightly. He just looked like he needed comfort right now, and she didn't want to deny him that. "Leo, if you need to let out your feelings, go ahead. I won't laugh at you or anything," she told him, but she half-expected him to hold back anyways. It would be either a matter or pride or politeness, she would guess.
