@Loli :: 8D YES. IT WAS MY FIRST! I was always too afraid to get them done, even though I really always wanted to. ;w; There's too many cute earrings after all. D'= <3
It is serious. o-o The lady recommended a year before changing them out and she practically gave me a book on how to care for them, but I'm so pleased with them. uwu Rainbow~~~ <3
They totally lied to me about it not hurting though. D=< Though I sorta asked for it; they were honest at first and then changed it. u~u "It'll hurt like.. have you ever been stung by a bee? =D" "Oh! It's like when you get shot with penicillin?" "D8" ".............WHAT WE MEAN IS THAT IT'LL HURT LIKE WHEN YOU STUB YOUR TOE. NOT THAT BAD, RIGHT, HAHA."
LIES. LIIIIIES.
@Usagi :: HELLO 8D <3333

o-o A year. That's... what. When you get it done at Claire's or whatever, they usually just say six weeks. It usually only takes six to nine weeks for the lobe to heal, so a year is insane. D=
Of course it hurts, they're stabbing a piece of metal through your body. D8 Where did you get this done, I should write a letter.
My mom used to be a dermatology nurse, so she still had some numbing cream, which she used whenever my sister or I went to get a shot. =D She put some on my ear lobes, but it still hurt. uwu I think I remember going "OW" and before I could process the pain, they had done the other ear too. D'< Those Claire's ladies, they know what they're doing.

I've had my ears pierced a few times. The first when I was 4, but then my brother yanked them out about a year or two after and I was too scared to let my mom put them back in. Then I had them redone when I was in about the second grade. In 6th grade I got a second hole but I lost one of my earring in the bathroom and the whole on that ear disappeared. So now I have two holes in one ear, and just one in the other.
Also, I had flower earrings when I was little! =D

Also! =O Huong has something painful going on ear/mouth-wise so she's excusing herself from posting for a bit until she feels better! So skip 8D Her if necessary I should put that in the main chat u~u
^^^^
For anyone roleplaying with Huong Le! =O
@Loli :: I got it done at Claire's, actually! =O The woman said six months is the usual recommendation, but she'd say a year just to be safe. But she may have been referring to leaving them without any earrings period? u~u Changing them out may not be what she meant. I'd have to ask to be sure. D'<
I'm happy I didn't hear that when I did it. D8 THAT SOUNDS HORRIFYING I'M HAVING POST-STABBING FEAR.
D= I wish I had thaaat. They gave me some numbing cream afterwards, but still. D'< I feel jipped.
@Usagi :: D= You just get cooler every time you say anything. Stop sounding cool. Also your little brother is a jerk. D< EVEN IF IT WAS YEARS AGO, NEVER FORGET.

@ Usagi -- Ouch ouch. D8 Yanking them out sounds painful.
I always wanted to have multiple ear piercings~ owo I got my ears pierced once, but I was allergic to everything so we had to let one close up, and then someone in my 6th grade class said I looked like a boy with just one earring, so I let the other close up too. uwu My sister has multiple piercings. So jealous.
I didn't have flower earrings but I had cat earrings! 8D And a pair of black pearl earrings which turned my lobes bright green. uwu
@ Serend -- Ahh, yeah, probably she meant leaving them out without any earrings. =0 Because depending on how your ears, they're usually healed enough after six weeks to change the earrings, but usually if you leave earrings out for a while for the next year, they can still close up, like mine did. D'<
The numbing cream didn't do much in the end, because while it numbed the skin, it didn't numb the rest of my ear. uwu So gross.
I hope Huong feels better. D8

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted anything in here for a bit. (I feel like I say that a lot. x.x)
@ Serend: They probably meant to keep a pair of earrings in for a year or they'll close up. They usually say something like you should keep it in for a few months but I haven't heard anything like a year. (I've had like 8 piercings done I think. Or about eight.)

Gooood day, guild~ uwu
@Elric :: Goodness. D8 Everyone's been seeming much braver than me on piercings! It's cool. ;w; ..Yeah, I called to double check with her and she did mean it that way. uwu; Which is good though! That means in a few months, I can swap out for something cute~ owo Like hotdogs or something cheesy like that. D8<

@ Serend -- Just be careful about the metal. uwu Especially early on. You never know what you may be allergic to, so you should go for something safe~

Hello, hello! I have finally finished up all of my profiles, residences and businesses. So, I will return to being a happy and active person! owo I missed a conversation on earrings, so I'm just going to butt back in D< I've had my ears pierced twice, the first time they got so infected that they just popped out and it took me a few years to get back the courage. It turns out that I was allergic to the metal and had to only get the real stuff. Which, of course, meant that my options were very limited and I was not a happy camper D< I only ever had like 4 pairs of earrings for over like ...6 years I'd say? And 3 of them were hoops xD But then I decided that I was going to try and be a rebel and now I have 00 gauges :'D (in case you don't know the sizes: I can stick my pinky through each ear owo) Oddly enough, I'm not allergic to the metal in gauges. I have no idea why, but I don't mind because now I have cute earrings again~
GOODNESS I RANTED. This is what happens when I stay away from the OOC for extended periods of time Dx
So, how is everyone? :'D

@ Loli: Not really. razz I just always feel like knowing a lot about piercings before I get them. Or a new one at least. I've been getting them since I was a little eighth grader going to be freshman just starting high school.
@Serend: Aww sounds cute. :] I'm sure you'll find a ton of cute/cheesy earrings to switch the other ones with.
@Usagi: Aww I always thought gauges were cute. :] What kind do you have?

I almost feel bad for January. Like Rath needs to give her a great big hug the next time he sees her!
