Gossamer frowned a bit and leaned her head to the side. When the guards had secured her, they moved back towards the door. The first guard moved out, and the other motioned for Gossamer to follow the first out. She stumbled a bit again, getting used to walking with the limitation. She managed to get out of the room without tripping over her feet, and the guards held her outside the hall until the two Doctors joined them.

Dundee chuckled a little about the cell service. "It's a kind of a new thing one of the other sector's lantern and I were working on. Y'know how a lotta folks hope for better cell phone service? Makes the ultimate 3G network! As soon as we can figure out a patent for it we can send it down here." he said with a smile as C.J. smirked.
"I guess they miss their mom, darlin'. Are you comin' back tomorrow?" he asked, warming up thinking about the kids, Arell on the other hand, just relaxed.
"'Ult'mate 3G ne'work.' Now DIS I gotta see." Arell drawled.

"They probably are..." Misty said as she turned back towards CJ. A slightly sad little smile curled around her face. "Of course..." she replied, rubbing his hand again. "I'm not sure when... but I'll make sure the kids are entertained for a while, and I'll come back to see what I can do to help. Or come see you if they don't need me. If I'm able to... I can try to bring the twins down sometime to see you too."

The doctors fell in behind the small entourage, as the began the journey to Vice's cell. Dr. Villa seemed to be lost in thought, his expression taking a more brooding look. Nevertheless, he kept up with the guards.

Slowly the machinery groaned, as all of the latches released with yellow rotating lights and a dull pulsating alarm. Once all of the restraints unlock and release, Rogue drops to the hard floor on bare feet kneeling in a crouch. Breaching a sigh of relief, Marie stood up making several stretches to ease her stiff muscles -- stretching her legs, arms neck and shoulders. In the midst of her limbering up, the orange suited mutant glances her green gaze toward Vice, "Thank ya kindly, Sir. De name's Rogue by tha way. nice ta meet ya."

Vice grinned lightly and held his hand out briefly for her to shake. "Not a bad name, cutie. Call me Vice." he replied. Then he took a quick glance down the opposite hallway as a large metal door cried. A clatter of heavy footsteps following soon after.
"Nnnh... Well, at least that was a little longer than last time. Sorry, Doll, but I'm gonna have to split if I want out of here." he said, groaning a bit.
==================================
Donna followed after the group carefully. She glanced back at Doctor Villa a few times, but decided to keep to herself for the time being. She would converse with him after they had taken care of the situation at hand.

"That'd be mighty nice, darlin'." C.J. said warmly. Arell shot a look over at Dundee, thinking he put that hope aurora on him to calm him down from bouncing-off-the-walls-lunatic. Oddly enough, he didn't this time (especially according to Dundee's shrug)! This was just . . . just him getting his groove back!
Matter of fact . . . that warm smile on his face was coming back . . . not because of an aura, but just the thought alone that Misty was comin' back! Might not be tomorrow, but he could get outta here! Here that, kiddo?!
"Damn right, hondo! I can't WAIT for this drama to end. I almost applied to be VICE'S conscience . . . if he HAD one!"
Yeah, he's having much more fun. But don't worry, I think I got a plan for you.
"You have a WHAT?!? Your plans get me in TROUBLE, dude!!"
Yeesh! You'd think after almost a year of playing this guy, he'd cut me some slack! But no-o-O-o-o!!

Dr. Villa was in the moment enough to realize they were almost at Vice's cell. However, he was still deep in thought. Something told him that this had gone almost too smoothly so far. Something was bound to go wrong. Maybe not disastrously so, but this was Arkham Asylum. There were attempted breakouts all the time.
Either that, or the Joker was going to try to kill them. Again, in Hector's case.

Suddenly another door from the back hall burst; another round of guards flooding through it and running straight for Vice and Rogue. Vice sighed and glanced back at Rogue. "Looks like we'd both better head out. If you're ever hanging around the river between New York and Gotham, look me up." he said, then moved so that Rogue was between himself and the guards. "Good luck." he added, then took off down the hallway.
Meanwhile, the guards who were leading Gossamer down the hall stopped as something on their belts buzzed to life. Something about an escaped intense solitary confinement prisoner making his way down towards the more populated halls. In other words... right in their direction.
=====================================
Misty, meanwhile, just stood there and smiled back at CJ. She didn't look like she was in much of a hurry to leave him. At all.
The other woman waited patiently where the guard had told her to wait. Her eyes scanning every inch of the hall. Every door, every window... everything. When the guard returned, she stood to greet him again.
"Alright Miss Bell." he began. "Your papers have cleared. The guy you're wanting is down this way." he said.
"Good." Anna said. "I'd like for this to not take all day, so I'll try not to take up too much of your time."
"I don't know about that..." the guard said with a sigh. "Some of these guys can get a little winded."
"Well, I don't want to keep my son with the sitters all day." she replied. "I'll just come back another day if I don't get everything I need now."
"Your son?"
"Yes. He's only three, and gets a little testy when I'm gone for too long." she replied.

By the looks of things, C.J. wasn't in all that much of a hurry either. Dundee looked at him and smirked. It was good that he felt alright now. At least he wasn't cussin' out anybody.
"I love you, babe. Soon as I get outta here I'm comin' home." he said. Something in his voice said he meant it, too. Not just to a railroad car, not just to the house, but HOME . . . wherever that was.
However, Arell noticed the other woman up the hallway a ways, scratchin' his head, he nodded and looked back at the two.

Misty smiled, then moved as close to the bars of the cell as she could get. As close to him as she could get. "I love you too, CJ. Don't ever think otherwise..."
=======================
"Well, lets see if we can get you to see who ya need and get you back home. You're needing to see about that guy who took a chainsaw to someone in the city, right?" the guard asked as he led her down the hall.
"Yes." the woman replied. Her tone becoming rather closed off. "I just need to get all of my facts straight. Work and all..." she replied.

C.J. smiled back, trying to get close, too. "I never could." he said. However, their romantic moment was cut short with Arell looking up the hall towards the strange woman near the guard. He tried to interrupt, but Dundee intervened before seeing the woman. Was she a detective of some sorts?

Dr. Villa snapped out his personal reverie when the alarm went off. He grabbed Gossamer and Dr. Gray, and pressed them and himself against the wall.
The guards each went to opposite walls, weapons trained where the escaped patient would be appearing. They knew the standing orders: shoot to incapacitate (meaning legs were good targets, as were arms if the patient had a weapon), unless the patient was classifies level 9. Level nine patients were automatic shoot-to-kill permissions granted, reserved for the most dangerous of inmates, like Killer Croc, the Scarecrow, and the Joker.

Gossamer stumbled and grunted as her back hit the wall. Donna's eyes widened as she was pressed against the wall and stared down the hallway. A moment or two later, a commotion could be heard from down that hall. Yelling, shooting... things hitting the cement floor hard.
A guard was flung down the hall and skidded across the ground. Alive, but in no means of getting up any time soon. A man in a bright orange prison suit lept down the hall after him, stepping over the man's body in his bare feet as he ran down the hall towards the group.
He spotted the two guards at about the same time they spotted him.
==========================================
Misty didn't seem to notice the other woman either. She was far too focused on CJ.
The woman being led down the hall, however, was taking note of everything. Every cell they passed, every face inside each cell.... and the area where the Blue Lantern and woman were standing.
Anna's eyes flickered over the woman's face, then inside at the two men behind bars.

. . . C.J. also seemed in his own little world with Misty, however, Dundee turned around and looked at the woman. "Uh, are you waitin' for somebody?" Dundee asked as Arell smirked, leaning up against the wall. He looked over at Anna and smirked. Well, can't imagine who she is, but if she's gonna kill us, she woulda. he thought.
