The Reticent Harlequin Vice Captain

   With Charlotte, declining his offer one last time, Divine's smile would fade and be replaced with an intense scowl. "There is a limit to my patience, witch and you've just about reached it." he told her as with every passing second his soul wavelength and power would increase. As his power grew, Divine's body would begin to pulsate with demonic energy, his aura turned even blacker. Looking around at the ruined city that they were all standing in, Divine's rage had gotten the best of him and now it seemed that everyone was in for a fight.
Folding his arms into himself, Divine would encase his entire body in a thick black and purple barrier. After a few seconds had passed the thick barrier would turned completely black, except for the appearance of numerous white cracks that had begun to form all over it. The barrier then exploded outwards, almost tripling in size, but it soon compressed itself, causing even more cracks to form. It would do this for about a three minutes, as Divine's wavelength steadily rose through out it all. Suddenly, the pulsating barrier, would cease and an eerie silence overtook the area, followed by the feint sound of wind blowing and the slight humming coming from the barrier itself.
While Divine was undergoing such a monstrous transformation, the ground would begin to shake and the skies above them grew cold and dark. Just then, a bolt of lightning shot down towards the ground, right in front of Charlotte and with it, countless others would rain down as well. As the lightning-bolts struck the ground, three portals would form behind the barrier the held Divine. Emerging from the portals would be three very domineering figures. The one that came out of the left portal was a young man clad in black armor with only his lower jaw visible. Another man covered in similar armor would emerge from the right portal. However, this one was covered fully, head-to-toe in the armor, he also carried to red blades with him. Finally, the last portal held a being of overwhelming size and presence. The towering behemoth, easily trumped the other two in both size and build.
As the three beings stood behind the barrier the big one would be the first to speak up. Staring straight at Charlotte, the behemoth seemed to have already gotten a grasp of the situation. "We the, Three Knights of Hell, have been summoned here by our Lord Divine, to carry out his orders as he undergoes his metamorphosis. However, we are here to make sure it doesn't reach that point. By killing all of you, we will have completed our orders and saved our Lord the hassle of dealing with you low-class vermin." the behemoth said as he then walked in front of the barrier and with him were the other two. "I am Goliath the Executioner, the first of the Knights and the strongest." Once he finished speaking, the knight that held the two swords would speak up, "I am Ken the Ravenous, the cruelest and most sadistic of the Knights." Ken would then point over to the silver-haired knight, "And that is Kain the Dark Light, he rarely speaks or fight so there is no need to concern yourself with him." Ken told them all as he pointed his blades at Charlotte, "Are you the one that wishes to die first?" he asked, "Or perhaps you do?" vanishing, Ken appeared next to Emma. "I do love slicing off limbs of such fine looking women." he stated.
With Ken already making the first move, Goliath walked over towards Harold, who he trumped in height, "This little mutt will be mine." he stated as he then looked over at Charlotte, "Once I am finished with this pup, I will be the one to take your head, witch." he told her. While the other two had already decided on who they will be fighting, Kain, the silent one would merely stand in front of the barrier where Divine was in, with his arms folded. It appeared as though he would not be fighting, just like Ken had stated. While this was happening, Divine's presence had been increasing more and more, as the cracks on the barrier had increased as well.
[OOC: Alright everyone, this is now the beginning of a Boss Battle and for the first time, I'm going to actually put all I have into this. This is going to be fun, lets make this a good battle. twisted btw, last pic will be added in once I make it.]

 CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- "Dammit..." Charlotte muttered as she watched the three knights appear and begin attacking. "Brats, I will triple your reward, just don't die and kill those beasts!" She snapped at them. She looked back at the third knight and Divine "Like hell you will pull off that crap here, Divine!" She yelled as she jumped back, the barrier surrounding the area began weakening slightly as she built up power to face Divine if it came to it, meaning she trusted the others in fighting the knights. Her scythe disappeared as she clapped her hands together and her power began to spike even more.

Never again... Harold watched the next set of events with growing concern. Three knights of some kind stepped out of the portal and the one who spoke was even bigger than him. Divine had sealed himself in some kind of chrysalis in preparation to turn into who-knows-what. The one calling himself "Goliath" was truly so. Harold was about 8 feet tall, and the massive knight was even taller than him! Harold kept his face a mask of disgust, but inside he realized things were about to get really ugly. Harold mentally reached out to where Eric was sleeping in his mind. They'd need all hands on deck for this fight. Eric. Wake up, Harold thought. He felt Eric stir within him and open his eyes. What..? Is that Demon thing dead? You finished? He heard Eric ask. One of the difficulties with having the same body is that often times the one not in control would pass into an unconscious state, leaving them confused and unaware of what had happened when they woke up. Yeah, it's dead. But we've got a problem. A big one. Literally. Is it Divine? Yes. Well, no. Well...kind of. He could feel Eric's slight annoyance at his confusing answer. Take a look for yourself. Eric looked around through Harold's eyes, taking in the knights, the chrysalis, the amount of madness being given off and everyone getting ready to fight. He immediately moved into logic mode; exactly where Harold needed him most. While Eric being conscious didn't give Harold any literal boost in power, it did give him another valuable resource. Harold was a creature of impulse, emotion and action. While Eric had these qualities too of course, he was much more analytical and could figure out situations and the best way to deal with them much quicker than Harold could. Divine is in some kind of cocoon. He's undergoing a transformation. It's going to be stronger for sure. These knight guys are his servants and they're protecting him while he changes. Is that about right? Pretty much, yeah.Eric paused for a moment. This is bad. Moving on from the obvious... Eric took in as much of the situation as he could. One of the knights doesn't look like he's going to fight. That leaves two. If you divide up your team- Already done. Alright then - wait. Who's the catgirl? Harold looked over at Emma so Eric could get a better look. Some girl that we picked up after our fight with the Demon. She said she was stuck in the past too; her name is Emma. Eric made the connection immediately. E-Emma!? Are you sure that's what she said!? Harold made a confused expression. Yeah. Why? Do you know her? ...no I...no. I don't. Just seems like a strange name for a catgirl is all. Harold shook his head. Whatever. The knights, Eric. How do we kill the knights. The big one, specifically. Eric regained his focus. He could worry about Emma and what that meant for their time-line later. Harold still didn't know they had gone to the future at one point, and he knew nothing of the marriages and children that were there. But back on topic. The big knight had challenged them specifically. they'd have to figure him out first. Fortunately Dara was already in Weapon form. She had taken that new form that she and Harold could manage together; the large, double-handed blade. Eric was jealous of the fact that Harold could pull that off and he couldn't. He just didn't have the raw amount of resonance force it took to maintain Dara in a form like that for more than a few seconds. Geez...him jealous of Harold. What was wrong with him? The joints in the knight's armor look like his only weak point that I can see. His vision will also be limited by those giant spikes on his shoulders. That should create a large blind-spot on both his extreme left and right. Try your best to stay in that. Normally Eric would have recommended using speed and agility to out-maneuver the knight, but he knew that neither of those were Harold's strong suite. They would both have to fight with raw power rather than fancy foot-work or dodging and weaving. He didn't know how smart this "Goliath" was, but the fact that Harold had a completely separate mind working on strategy while he fought would definitely be a point in their favor. Dara's star form will be mostly useless; a light ranged attack against him will most likely just bounce off. You may want to use her chain scythe form to wrap around his legs and trip him up. Or to wrap around his sword-arm and hold it. Attack him from that same side with your claws and fire if you manage that. When you use your fire don't breathe a huge wave of it; a wide attack that simply washes over him won't do much. Fire in concentrated balls and aim for his chest. If nothing else it should slow him down or inflict minor injury. Eric continued thinking as he looked at Goliath. You may also want to go for the back of his knees or- Alright alright! That's as much as I can remember at once! Replied Harold, cutting him off. Just keep me updated or something. Eric mentally rolled his eyes. Harold looked down at Dara. "If you're not ready for this, get ready now," he told her as he gripped her tightly, looking back up at Goliath. "You mind if I use that helmet to keep my spare change after I rip your skull out of it?" He asked the knight with a grin, getting into a fighting position. Will I be bound in chains...

"Thanks, Max." she said as she twirled the swords in her hands to get herself warmed up a bit. The fighting had ceased for just a few moments until three enormous (to her) knights showed up looking as if they were meant to bring about the apocalypse. Following Emma's orders she went immediately to Harold's aid since it seemed that he was taking on one of the more violent knights. "Whenever you guys are ready." Aislin said getting into an attack position.

Standing in front of Divine's barrier, Kain would merely watch as Charlotte would immediately go on the offensive and begin building up her power as well, in hopes of being able to face Divine on equal terms. Kain stood there, motionless, not wavering at all. As it appeared that Charlotte posed no immediate threat to him or Divine, Kain's attention soon shifted to that of Ken and the blue-haired girl.
As he had appeared behind the blue-haired girl, Ken had tried to plunge one of his blades into her chest, but failed to do so as she would quickly move out of his range and land in front of him. While she pulled out her dagger, Ken's soul wavelength shot up quickly out of pure enjoyment. "Now this is more like it. I prefer women who can at least put up a decent fight as well. The thought of slicing you all over with my blades is quite thrilling." Ken said as he then ran towards her and thrusts his left blade down at her, aiming for her right arm, trying to completely slice it off. Once he initiated the first strike, Ken would not stop there, sending a pulse of his wavelength into his right blade, which made it glow red, Ken stabbed it into the ground. The moment the blade made contact with the ground, sharp, jagged, red crystal spikes began to shoot up from it and they were aimed at both the blue-haired girl and the Fox girl.
Ken seemed to have been enjoying himself, like always, Kain had seen enough of this, so he then turned his attention to the other battle that involved Goliath, who stated that he was the strongest of the Knights. Observing the opponent that Goliath would be facing, Kain took an odd interest in the beast. It appeared as though it was a being made up of madness. A savage beast with no sense of will or mind, but it appeared that, that wasn't the case. Not only was it able to speak, but it showed some sort of intelligence. Staring further at the beast, Kain used his own form of Soul Perception that is called Dark Vision, but instead of seeing and reading a person's soul wavelength, Kain is able to read/see a person's psyche, using this ability, Kain saw that there were more than one person inhabiting the beast's mind. Even with that knowledge, Kain didn't seem to fixated on the matter, not even telling Goliath. No, he would let Goliath handle this on his own, or perhaps there was no need for him to warm Goliath.
Looking down at Harold as he would look up to him and bark nonsense, followed by a small grin on his face. "Strong word's for such a puny creature." Goliath stated as he held up his long sword and pointed it at Harold. "Don't think to highly of yourself, mutt. Your bite will never reach me." Stepping forwards with a thud, Goliath lowered his blade and the stabbed it into the ground. Letting go of its hilt, Goliath stood before Harold, now weaponless, "I don't even need my blade to deal with you." he added. Suddenly Goliath erupted into a sprint and ran directly at Harold and Aislin, his heavy footsteps making deep and large indentations in the ground. This is weird, for someone so big to charge into a battle against an opponent who clear had the upper hand in speed and dexterity, it was almost like he wanted Harold to attack him, something seemed off about this.
Finally, the battles had commenced and it seemed like the two Knights were truly strange in the way they fought. The scene finally shifted back to Kain, he had been observing everything and taking it all in. Of the three, Kain is the most mysterious and quite possibly the most dangerous, since there is little information about him or his motives for not fighting. Looking back at Charlotte, Kain held up three fingers at her followed by all ten, making it thirty, it is anybody's guess what that number meant, but if he showed it to Charlotte exclusively, then it must have something to do with this battle or maybe even Divine.

She stared at the knight for a moment, analyzing for any weak points before pulling out knives and launching them at him. The knives suddenly doubled in number then tripled so they were coming at him from all directions. ☾

 Max nodded in the reflection of the blade when Aislin thanked him. Suddenly Drakkon changed form and declared himself as "Divine". This had to be the person they were looking for. The others seemed to think so. He was still confident all of them could handle the strange demon/witch, but then he suddenly shut himself up into some kind of cocoon and called out three deadly looking knights. Max growled deep in his throat through the reflection of the blade. It was just one thing after another. The cat (he didn't like cats) told Aislin to help the giant wolf named Harold, and Aislin obliged. It seemed they had chosen their opponent; the big lumbering knight who called himself Goliath. Harold seemed to look around as if assessing the situation. Hopefully he had come up with something. Max wasn't the best at strategy, but he knew how to fight and work as a team. He began powering up his resonance force, giving Aislin more strength as he did so.

Watching as the blue-haired girl managed to not only dodge his sword thrust, but also his crystals as well, Ken only grew more excited. "You are quite the fighter, little girl. Perhaps there is more to you then meets the eye...maybe." Ken added as he saw her pull out knives and launch them at him. Stepping back just slightly, Ken held up his swords in anticipation. Suddenly the knives would double and then triple, coming after him on all sides. Twisting his upper torso and building up energy, Ken began spinning around with his swords held outright, creating a spinning red vortex, that helped Ken to deflect all the daggers. This spinning vortex also served as an adequate defense against, the fox-girl's shock-wave.
As soon as he slowed down and exited his vortex, Ken almost instantly went on the offensive. First off, he would lunge towards Michi, drawing back his left sword and releasing a fury of jagged and deadly red crystals right at her. Flipping backwards and landing behind Emma, Ken stabbed both of his blades into the ground, causing the entire area around him, Emma and Michi to become crystallized. With his swords still in the ground, Ken would stomp his feet, which sent parts of his soul wavelength into the crystallized ground and caused thousands of spikes to shoot up randomly and with varying size. Judging by what Ken has done so far, it is clear now, that his power is that of crystals he is able to not only produce them out of thin air, but he can also manipulate them to his will, making him quite the deadly foe.
Turning back to Kain, he would hear what Charlotte had to say and nodded, acknowledging her words. That meant either one of two things. Firstly, that they had thirty minutes to defeat the Knights and stop Divine from awakening, or the Knights would end this before thirty minutes, thus ending the battle and not allowing Divine to reach his full power. Either way the battle will take a drastic turn when that time arrives.
[OOC: Goliath initiated an attack towards both Harold and Aislin in my last post, so I will wait for your responses.]

Never again... Harold grinned as he watched the massive knight plunge his sword into the ground. "Fine, learn the hard way," he replied. He looked down at Dara. "Well, I figure we'll kill this one first. Then the crazy one, then the one that's standing there, then Divine and then we'll go home. Yeah, sounds good to me." He looked up suddenly as Goliath began to charge at them. "Alright then, let's do this!" Yelled Harold as he began rushing forwards straight towards Goliath, ready to strike with Dara. No Harold! Wait! Yelled Eric from inside Harold's mind. What? Why? Something's wrong with this. Don't attack. Dodge it. Harold didn't like "just dodging", but he had woken up Eric for a reason, he might as well listen to his advice. When it looked like the two of them were about to collide in combat, Harold leaped upwards, launching himself over Goliath and spinning in the air to face him. He sucked in a deep breath as he fell, spitting a large ball of blue flame towards Goliath's center-mass just as Eric recommended. Will I be bound in chains...

"So does anyone have a plan to take down this thing?" Aislin asked. Looking at it now, it was pretty big and sturdy looking for only two people, well 5 people really, to take down themselves. "Well considering we got a big chunk of crazy running towards us I would love if we came up with a plan soon." She said with hints of franticness lacing her words. Time was cut short and both her and Harold were forced to jump over Goliath.
