HEADS UP
You'll know if my posts are about you. I'm not some obnoxious rude person who posts largely without notifying whose in my post. Also if I post with you and my posts are long I explain to you which paragraphs contain your RPC within them. For example my 5k post. I told Shiro no Kitsune the last two paragraphs contained her character in them and not to worry about the other paragraphs if she didn't feel like reading them. I'm not too intimidating and if you find anything unreasonable I can summarize my posts to you if they have anything to do with you directly. ^^;

Utsuha Moon Can my Asmea trip over your character (when you post)? 8 ) Cause my guy is socially awkward and won't initiate a conversation out of the blue. And I wanna roleplay. XD
@Paradox; Yeah, it's just too much to read dramallama I used to do that too, until some guy pulled out like eight paragraphs. The post wasn't directed to my RPC, but I was in the same thread where the action was happening. Next thing I know, my RPC was accidently killed dramallama
@Idol; Alright, that seems better. Haha, I thought if I was RPing with you that I would have to read all of those paragraphs emotion_0A0

I initially planned to do so because I thought that it wouldn't be that bad and I wanted to make it challenging.
Though now looking at it now, I might just make your WORD COUNT be used like this:
100 WORDS can be exchanged for
- 1 STAT POINT
- 10 EXP
- 2 SKILL MASTERY
- 2 INDIVIDUAL SKILL POINTS
or
- 50 Col (1/2 Word Count)
By this system I'll use Teen-kun's 5k post as an example.
5,000 WORDS exchanged
- 50 Stat points
- 500 EXP
- 100 Skill Mastery
- 100 Individual Skill
or
- 2,500 Col
With the 50 EXP increase every level, Teen would be Level 4 at 50/250 EXP and a total of 70 Base Stats.
Eh... Then again I had planned Events, Monsters, and Bosses to reward EXP as well.
On a note I tend to match whoever I RP with fairly well. Even though I can crank out several K worth of words, I don't unless those I RP with do the same. It keeps the flow and makes RP together much more enjoyable when everyone is at a similar level. I also enjoy reading long posts, they help inspire me for future posts.

Mine is turning too long. I'm sorry. ; n ; But your character appears in the last paragraph of my to-be-posted post.
On the brighter side, it's all plot/character development and minimum details/descriptions (with some fluff paragraphs) if you wanna read all of it. I think. : D

I'm still a bit curious now after all this EXP talk though. Does the word count per level still increases? How much EXP would monsters contribute to a player? Are there any other ways to gain cols, besides word count?

Monsters will give varying exp. Probably in the range of 5-25 EXP per monster at lower levels, Bosses could grant anything from 100 EXP and above. With a limit to how many you can farm for EXP per level. i.e. you can only fight a monster 2 times at level 1 before they stop giving rewards, etc. etc.
Monsters also will have drops including Col, Weapons, Armors, and Misc Items. I'm probably going to have to create a dice-roll drop system to keep things fair for everyone.

I mean that with this, your 100 Words would be used for all of the above listed, instead of initially being used for only one of the choices. So one cannot gain stats without leveling up in the process. In simpler terms, the amount of words would be equivalent to you strengthening your character.

Nah, this is beta; Just have fun! When the death trap begins, that's the time when we should roleplay like mad. XD We can just use this time to practice slowly lengthening our posts. Plus, the nice thing about shorter posts is that it gives you more plot to work with. When I typed up that gigantic 2.3k post, I spent at least half an hour to come up with stuff to write about. Not to mention the amount of time it took for me to write that much... I'd say I spent around three hours on that post. So in the time it takes for someone to write an essay post, we could possibly get in 3-4 posts each? It's easier, since you're always replying to someone and adding more to the conversation. o3o
