Harold's worried frowned deepened as Marai asked him what was wrong. "What will happen if our past friends return to their time and change things? What if that means some of us won't exist? Our children, or even you?"

"I told you Harold, I wasn't gonna-" "I didn't mean like that," Harold replied, cutting Eric off. "I mean unintentionally. They can't possibly account for everything. What if even one small thing they do results in some of our children not existing? Or me never even meeting Emma?" Eric had been thinking over similar things in how the timeline should or shouldn't be altered and what taking different actions might mean, but Harold had a point. They couldn't account for everything and they knew too little.

Sarah looked up from what she was doing. She had the flame in the palm of her hand, though the flame was certainly not a normal one as it wasn't burning her at all. She had discovered much to her delight that waving the flame back and forth caused it to change colors for some reason and had been entertaining herself seeing how quickly she could make it change from one color to the next. She bit her lip worriedly as she listened to them. Despite the way she acted sometimes, she was very intelligent and was beginning to realize that some of the people with them were somehow from the past. She didn't quite know what was wrong, but it was obviously upsetting her father and had to do with changing the way things were for them now.

Once Mirai had finished healing him, Atticus, would still seem unconscious, no doubt because of the tremendous torture and pain that Sanctum had not only did to his body, but his mind as well. Slowly stirring, Atticus would open his eyes fully and look over to see a strange woman beside him, "W-Who are you?" he asked as he tried to sit up and access the situation. "Where am I? And what happened to my friends?" Atticus would question the woman as his head began pounding. As it did he would suddenly go light-headed and collapse back on the bed, "What happened to me?"

"A friend, you say. Well, I would like to thank you for allowing me to rest here, Mirai." Atticus would say as he looked around to see that Shira and the others were all safe. As Mirai mentioned Sanctum, Atticus would recall the time he had spent with that monster, being beaten, chained up, and tortured nonstop for days, "I don't need to recover." Atticus said as he had a very dark and deranged look in his eyes, "All I want is to tear Sanctum limb by limb, until there is nothing left but his whimpering head." he said as Mirai left room. Looking over at Shira, Atticus would seem unfazed by her future appearance, "Shira" he muttered as he watched her glance away from him, "Thanks for keeping your promise." he said as he looked down at his chest, and saw a big circular scar, that was the result of Shira's shooting him in the chest.

Hearing that Sanctum was now dead and that it was his future self that did, made Atticus feel somewhat relieved and angry at the same time, but he would not show it. "I see. Well, as long as he is dead, then it is fine. By the way, who is your mother, if you don't mind me asking?" Atticus would say, but then his attention would shift back at Shira who had smiled, "Why won't you speak to me?' he asked in a childlike manner.

Atticus would look rather stunned to hear that Charlotte was Mirai's mother, "So does that mean Divine is your father?" he asked already knowing the answer, "That would mean that we are kind of like siblings." Atticus stated as he would actually smile, "I'm glad to have met you, Mirai." Atticus would then hear Shira's response, "Just say what you feel. We are in the future after all, maybe you could tell me how my life turned out. Did I ever go back to my home village? Didi I have a family?" he asked.

Atticus looked somewhat nervous as Mirai called him Atticus-niisan, "I guess I will have to get used to being an older brother pretty soon." he muttered as he then heard Shira answer his questions, "So I do not return to my home, eh?" he replied in a sad tone, "Well, at least I know that I will have a family someday. What about you Shira, what is your future like?"

Atticus would watch as Mirai left the room. As Shira told him about her future, he would seem sad, "Kidd and Liz are dead? As well as your husband? How did that happen?" he asked, but then shook his head, "Never mind, I do not want to know, but you have a child who I bet thinks the world of you. I wonder what he or she is like, I bet he or she takes after you. Are you and I still partners in this future?" he asked, not knowing the truth about his and Shira's relationship in the future.
