Emma finally woke up finding herself in her bed. She dared not move since she was afraid that if she did it would bring the pain back. All she could do was lay there rubbing her pregnant belly.

Alistair heard a beeping sound coming from another room, a good beeping sound though. "I'm going to be right back Vincent, but do think about what I said. Oh and one other thing." He pulled out a small white rag from his bag and placed it on Selena's lap.
"Wipe the gel off your sister for me please? I don't know how long this will take." He asked Vincent as he left the room to turn to Emma's aid. He was relieved that it was only her waking up that caused it to go off like that. "You doing alright Emma? You had a bit of a fall a while ago. Why step out of the house?"

"I thought going for a walk would calm my nerves after the thing with Asha I guess I was wrong about that." Emma looked down at her bulging belly.

"You shouldn't get yourself so worked up. She's going to be okay actually, and so will her kids." He smiled, trying to get Emma to smile as well. He placed a hand softly on top of hers. "Speaking of kids, I hope yours didn't wake you up. You need your rest, you have high blood pressure, Emma. So just take it easy and make sure to drink more water from now on."

"You do mean ours right. You had a hand in creating them too you know." Emma could never understand why Alistair did not claim the babies in her his own. He was the one after all who go her pregnant. She sighed and curled up and closed her eyes once more.

Alistair's heart sank when he saw her curl up into a ball like that. He could tell that he hurt her with his words. He moved his hand away from her, figuring she didn't want him touching her right now. "You're right Emma, they, they are ours. I had more than just a hand in that, I forced it. You didn't know me for no more than five minutes and here we are. I'm still sorry about that, about all of this. It's my fault all these things keep happening to you over the months we've been together."

"I wanted this, more than you know." The last part Emma said in a whisper in hopes that Alistair would not hear. She had been so afraid of having kids that she had jumped at the opportunity. She winced as one of the babies kicked.

Vincent sighed and nodded his head watching Alistair walked out of the room and shrugged his shoulder knowing he was right. He sighed as he wiped off the gel being gentle as he could with his sister so she wouldn't wake up. " Vince." Selena muttered stirring awake as the children within her moved " I'm here." Vincent said holding her hand

Alistair had been told that before, but he couldn't believe that. This time, he felt he should start believing, he didn't want to hurt Emma anymore. He could had sworn he heard her say more, but it was difficult to make out the words.
"I believe you Emma." He leaned over to her when he saw her wince in pain. "Emma, you alright?"

Selena smiled as she looked at her brother and sighed as she slowly sat up blinking as she looked at the picture of her babies and blinked back tears gently moving so her brother could hold her "I'm sorry I took my stress out on you, I was being stupid." Vincent said looking down at her and sighed as he shook his head "Its okay you didn't mean anything you were just upset." Selena said in a gentle tone as she looked up at him

"I'm fine one of the babies kicked is all." Emma rubbed her in hopes that it would calm down the babies.

Alistair rubbed along with her, feeling the strong kicks from the outside "They're stronger than they look." He's never placed his hands on her stomach before unless it was for a medical reason. It felt different to do that, especially since he accepted that these were his kids too.
"I'm sorry for my cold moments and words in the past. I never meant to hurt you. I really do care about you a lot Emma. In fact, I, I love you."

Emma eyes went wide when Alistair said that he loved her. "You don't know how long I have waited and wanted to hear those words again from someone." A tear trickled down her cheek. "The last time I heard that was the night before I was taken from my parents. It's was the one thing that kept me sane in the lab. The hope that I may hear that or even get to see my parents again. I was to late though they are gone already."

Alistair felt sorry for Emma, having gone through so much, even now with the children. "I'm sorry to hear about your parents. I'm sure they loved you very much." He slowly lifted Emma to sit up so that he could hold her in is arms properly. "I'll say it as many times as you need to hear it." With that said, Alistair chanted "I love you, Emma" with a whisper.

"If you really love me just show me." With that said Emma kissed Alistair and held it. She lifted her maternity dress a little bit so that her huge belly could be seen. The one thing that would take time getting use to was the fact that her breasts were much larger.
