Olivier and company had been searching for days, he could barely get any sleep knowing that Bitten may be in danger. The scent had grown dead awhile ago but pitying his friend Kabutops continued to try and find the scent again. Panting from their harsh travel Olivier removed his mask, so he could see better. Then, as if a sign from god, it began to rain. If there was a scent left to track it would be washed away by the rain. Olivier stared blankly at the sky as he was soaked, he clenched his fist. He had gloated so much to Bitten, given his word no he made an oath to stand by her side and keep her from harm. He had promised so much yet in the blink of an eye she was whisked away, and Olivier wasn't even sure f she was ok much less alive. Had he enough air in his lungs he would scream right now, he would scream at the sky, the world, and himself for being all talk. Sense his friends depression Ditto climbed onto his head to keep the water out of his eyes, the little pokemon didn't know what to do to raise Olivier's spirits. Olivier silently returned Kabutops to its pokeball, and walked off. He just walked off into the rain, not knowing or caring where he was going. In one hand he held the maks to his costume and the other Bitten's butterfly bracelet, which he held close to his chest out of the rain.
