 ᵞᵋᶳₑᶮᵢₐ ♭ ᶴᵤᶵᵣᵢᵡ First Year ø Slytherin ø Muggleborn "Music is easy and simple, you don't have to worry about things like betrayal." ♮ Yesenia walked in slowly, cautiously. She wasn't sure on how these clubs worked, but if there was a music club here, she at least wanted to check it out. She tightened her hold on the handle of her case looked around, gathering her nerve. "Excuse me, i'm interested in the music club. How... does this work, exactly?" she asked. She wanted to join the club, but she wasn't sure how to join it, or even if they accepted first years. But it would be nice to meet with a couple of fellow musicians, even if it was once a week. ♯ "But in life, your best friends can end up as your worst enemies."

  ((OOC: outfit in left picture))  Ariana finished dusting off the last instrument when Tobi walked into the music club with his boyfriend Bradley. The girl recognized him from a few Music Club sessions last year, and he was also the kid with the camera during the Hufflepuff Quidditch tryouts. "Hey, Tobi! Hi, Bradley!" the redhead greeted happily. When the Hufflepuff sat down at a piano, Ariana grinned. Just then, the Remy rushed through the door. "No worries, Rem!" she answered after the co head of the club apologized for being late. Although the redhead liked when the two of them go there early, it didn't make too much of a difference. This club was made to have fun, not to stress people out even more. Plus, it wasn't that hard to run on your own. When Remy asked to focus on the important stuff, Ariana nodded. It was time for the club to officially begin! At that moment, the younger of the two Bleiddiaid siblings walked into the room. "Hi, Romy!" the sixth year exclaimed. Behind him, an unfamiliar student trailed slowly. Ooh, a new member! Ariana approached the girl. "Hi, my name is Ariana, and that over there is Remy," she said, gesturing to the other sixth year girl. "We're the heads of the club. We meet once a week. On the first meeting of the year, which happens to be today, most people perform something. But it's only if they want to. We absolutely do not pressure anyone to do so if they don't want to. Then during the rest of the meetings, anyone who wants to perform anything can. The rest of us usually work on either writing our own music, or we practice playing instruments." Ariana looked at the others in the room, then back at the first year. "We're actually just about to start, so if you wanna watch the first meeting, then decide if you want to join or not, feel free to do so," she said, her warm smile meeting her lips. "Tobi, did you want to perform first? she asked, looking at the boy who was sitting at the piano.

   Minn pushed the door open, smiling vivaciously. "Come on, Dhylan! We don't want to be late!" She tugged on his hand, trying to force the boy to walk faster. Instead, he stopped completely. "Minn.... I don't want to do this. I-I'm going back to my room." The girl gasped. She couldn't let her brother leave! No way! Instead, she told him to give her two minutes, then ran inside. "ARI! AriAriAri!" She found the older girl, then clung to her in a hug. "Ari, you gotta help me! Dhyl is too shy to come in here with me! You hafta make him come in 'cos he's gonna sing with me! I can't sing alone! So please, please help me!" She tugged on the Hufflepuff's hand, trying to lead her to the door, and to her brother. On the other side of the door, the tall teen sighed. He didn't want to go in, and he really didn't want to actually perform. Not with everyone in there! He could barely sing when only Minn was watching him. He was doomed to fail. {OoC:}

((OOC: outfit in left picture)) The moment Ariana asked Tobi if he wanted to perform first, a younger girl screamed her name as she clung onto the redhead. Wait, what? Before Ariana could even say anything, Minn had already explained the situation in a rush and was pulling her out to the hallway. "Hey, Dhyl. What's up? Why don't you wanna perform with Minn?" she asked before taking a closer step towards the boy. "Look, I know stage fright can be a scary thing," she started as she placed a hand on his shoulder. What was she talking about? Ariana hadn't actually ever experienced stage fright. At least, not when it came to performing. But, from what she's heard, it could be extremely frightening. "And Minn has it, too. That's why she won't sing alone. If you don't want to sing, then don't, but your sister won't either." Hopefully, that would have been enough convincing to get the fifth year to sing. If not, the redhead would have to try harder.

She seemed friendly enough, and figured she'd like it here. She was glad she came. She wasn't quite sure she knew what she wanted to play, or if she did, but perhaps if she sat and listened to a few go first, she'd understand what she wanted to do. So she found someplace to stand, or sit, however this worked, and settled down to wait for everyone to start. ♯ "But in life, your best friends can end up as your worst enemies."

Well since he was already at the piano... His fingers hadn't even pressed down on the keys before a loud screeching sound erupted into his ears to later find out it was from Minn trying to make her older brother perform with her. Thankfully the older Hufflepuff calmed her down and things were nearly quiet that he cleared his voice and gave a small sardonic grin and wave. "Hey everyone, 'm names Tobi, I play piano and guitar. Right now I'ma play a song I think pretty much summed up my summer." Tobi took a small breath before his fingers splayed across the piano keys and soon his newly deepened voice began to float across the room. "I can't win, I can't reign

Minn tugged hard on her brother's arm, using all her strength to try and drag him to the stage. The teen played along, following her, but nearly barfed at the mere sight of the stage. Minn kept pulling, not even stopping to applaud Tobi, who had just finished his song. "Get... up... here!" Dhylan sighed, then followed his sister onto the stage. How was she okay with this?! He felt like his heart was about to explode into a billion pieces. Minn stepped up and took the microphone, then handed the other to her brother. "Hiya everyone! My name's Minn, and this here is Dhylly. We're gonna sing a pretty song for you!" Her bubbly energy made Dhylan feel quite like a loser. He did NOT want to do this! Unfortunately, as the music started, he closed his eyes, and sang, his younger sister harmonizing, just as they had done over the summer. When it was done, Dhyl simply dropped his microphone to the floor, then left the room, looking like he'd seen death itself. Minn giggled and took a bow, before sitting to watch the next performer, her brother already pushed out of her mind. I Can Not Believe My Eyes {OoC: H=Dhyl; P=Minn}

Bradley followed after Tobi and smiled at Ariana He waved at her and sat beside Tobi. Soon after Tobi was asked to sing, Bradley shifted over on the pianpo bench to allow him more room. At the end of Tobi's song, the black haired boy wrapped his arms around Tobi. Setting his head on the boy's shoulder. "I'll never be the same without you." he whispered to the boy beside him. He needs me here for him. he thought with a smile.

*~Victor Beausoleil~* Victor Beausoleil walked in with a confident stride, though said stride halted when he actually entered the club room.
The Hufflepuff had heard there was an actual music club in Hogwarts and he didn't believe it.
But now that he had seen it with his own eyes he couldn't be happier, one of the things growing up in a upper-class french family did was show him a love of music.
Victor still wanted to be some kind of medic when he got a job though, but music was his muse...it made him feel more at ease. Maybe even...common?
He shivered at that thought, that would be great!
Victor looked around searching for someone who seemed to be in charge, see if he could join this club.
He then noticed a girl...she was...if he remembered the introductions in his classes, she was from the Slytherin house? So obviously they did allow first years, which was a relief off his shoulders.
Walking up to her and sitting down next tot he fellow first year he coughed a bit to get her attention, "Umm...mademoiselle? Do you perhaps...how you say...know where the leader of this club is?" He then blinked, hopefully he wasn't being annoying, "S'il vous plaît?" Mood: Amazed
Thoughts: They actually have a music club? This must be heaven!
House: Hufflepuff
Year: One ((OOC: Pfft...need to get Victor to socialize outside of class. ))

She finally looked over, blinking herself back to reality. "What?" she asked, still not out of her daze. She then realized it was one of the people from her year. The french dude, or at least, that's how he spoke, just like the other two teachers. She hoped he would be slightly easier to understand than the one blond guy from her house she had talked to in flying class. "Oh, right, sorry. I think the leader's there," she told him, pointing towards Ariana. She wondered what the last thing he said was, but decided it didn't really matter. If he wanted her to understand he'd speak English. ♯ "But in life, your best friends can end up as your worst enemies." ((OOC: outfit in left picture)) Ariana walked back into the room in the middle of Tobi's performance. She clapped when the boy finished; however, she only heard the second half of the song. Next, Minn pulled Dhylan up on stage with her and the two siblings sang their duet. The girl seemed to really be enjoying herself whereas her brother didn't. Once they finished, Minn bowed while Dhylan ran out the door. The redhead frowned, but her attention was drawn to Bradley who waved at her. Of course, Ari waved back with a bright smile. From the corner of her eye, she saw someone point a finger to her. It was the new girl who came in earlier. Oh, a new member! she realized happily. The bubbly redhead wanted to perform next; however, she would let someone go instead, so she could introduce herself to the boy. "Hi, I'm Ariana," she started, placing a hand above her chest as she always did while introducing herself. "Welcome to the Music Club! Remy and myself are in charge," she explained, gesturing towards the brunette Gryffindor who was the same age as she. "Did you want to perform something or only watch for today?" she asked, her smile not faltering one bit.

To the one small point I know they've been missing around hereRick noted the new people coming in as the others sang. He waved at them, deciding that he would go ahead and perform today, if for no other reason than he hadn't performed in a long time. He looked around and spied a guitar sitting on a stand. Walking over, he picked it up and started tuning it to make sure it was all on pitch. He then cleared his throat nervously. He hadn't been in front of everyone singing since his second year, and with so many new people here, he was starting to feel nervous. Clearing his throat again, he sat back down, more nervous than he had ever thought to be. Why did he think this was a good idea again? He could almost hear in the back of his head Jacob egging him on to play, and he straightened up fractionally. "I, er, haven't sung here in a couple of years, so umm, I might be a bit nervous here." That was an understatement and a half, so he cleared his throat again. "Anyway, um, I'm gonna sing something I heard a bit ago, and play it. I'm not that good at the guitar yet, since I learned it over the last year, so...." He stopped talking and plucked a few strings, making sure it was in key before he started performing.----------------------------------

((OOC: outfit in left picture)) Ariana heard a boy's voice nervously crack into the microphone. The girl turned around to see who it was. Immediately, a smile sprawled across her features. She watched Rick's entire performance, and once he finished, the girl clapped loudly before rushing onto stage with him. "That was fantastic! You have to perform this next song with me," she said, shoving a page of lyrics and notes into the boy's hands. After he took it, she turned back around to face the audience and smiled at everyone. When her eyes fell on Steele, she stared at him for a moment before speaking. "This is a song I wrote a little while ago for a special someone," Ariana said before the music started. Her smile stayed on her lips throughout The Way.

Blinking, he studied the song and swallowed nervously before starting his part. He wasn't used to doing rap, but he could try his hand at it. At least he could say one thing, it was mostly just speaking the words to a rhythm, so it wasn't difficult. When they finished, he blinked and handed the sheaf back to Ari. "Erm, you're welcome." There was that nervousness again, and he sat back down with the guitar across his lap. Hopefully someone else would come up and sing something, cause he thought he would bolt just like Dhylan did if someone told him to sing another part. ----------------------------------

((OOC: outfit in left picture)) Ariana turned to Rick and practically pulled him into a hug. "That was wonderful, thanks Rick!" she exclaimed before finally letting go of the poor lad. She figured he had enough fun for the day. At least, it seemed as though he was ready to get off the stage. Ariana walked off the stage towards Steele. "What did you think?" she asked, snuggling against him after plopping down into the empty seat beside his chair. Hopefully, he would have understood the song was about him. I hope you like it! she thought, waiting for his answer.
