"Greetings Mort," Yin also acknowledged, happy to see the boil after not encountering him for what seemed like ages. But the hallway was now open, and an odd sense of nostalgia ran through him as he stepped in, seeing the lake once more. There was still treasure there. He could still remember Octavia, picking up the small rings to put in her pocket. But oddly enough, perhaps because he was not in trance, the closer he got to the lake the cooler it seemed to be, and by the way Jericho was walking on top of it...he would be content to look elsewhere. Like the walls for example. Runes etched into them, emitting a faint glow. A familiar glow. He turned to try and find Alexander, immediately questioning him when he found him. "Alexander, are you able to make out any of those runes?" The zomboil read a lot, which mainly Yin knew because of the sheer amount of books that moved through his room. Perhaps he had come across them before, and maybe if they could be read they could begin to understand them. Seussi I tag you because otherwise it looks like I don't care OuO

A hissing sound, and a flash of light and suddenly it was just there, laid out in front of them. The cavern from the trance, the lake, the treasure. Alex felt a strong sense of familiarity, as memories that were not his own but were of the zombghoul Ashly's, came rushing back. She had searched the water, had gone beneath the surface and had searched for the source of a strange sound that had resonated through the deep, but had found nothing. It didn't appear as anybody would be searching below the surface this time, however, and while that thought brought with it a certain amount of disappointment, somewhere buried deep below was a more common feeling of relief. The zomboil took some shuffling steps forward, almost drawn towards the lake even though he could see that it was frozen over from the way another student was walking across the surface, scouring it with flames. He shuddered involuntarily and took a step back before Yin's voice jogged him into tearing his gaze away from the lake and towards the other boil. "Hrm? Runes?" He frowned in puzzlement, moving towards him and closer to the wall itself. He reached a hand up as though to touch the faintly growing runes, and then stopped himself, letting his hand fall back down to his side as he inspected them carefully. "I don't know really. They might be familiar..." He reached over with the hand that he had let fall back down, brushing the back of Yin's hand with his fingertips, needing that small amount of physical comfort to help sooth the unease in his gut, though it did little to help. "Did you hear that sound?" He asked, head suddenly tilting to the side. It had sounded like beeping...

Astra had seen the group of students move into the underground passage, and she was quick to follow them. It was clear to her as to who was behind this, and she was loathed to let them get away with it. The memories of the trance concerned her; the poor ghost ghoul whom had been kidnapped, if they were to go down here, would the same thing happen to them?
No! She wouldn't let the hunters take anyone, if she could help it!
