Miranda nodded. "I'm pretty sure." she said slowly. "I don't recognize the car. Granted they could have gotten a new one." she said. She follow close behind him now, crossing her arms and looking over her shoulder again.

After looking around for a bit Luke turned back to walk into the house when he came face to face with the people in the car. "Lucius." the woman called out as she walked over and hugged the man. "Hey mom." He said as he hugged back. He lipped a 'help' to the man behind her. The woman let go and walked over to the Miranda. "You must be Miranda." She said hugging the woman. "I'm Mary Catherine, Lucius's mother." the woman introduced herself. The woman then turned to the man. "And this is Lucius the 4th." She introduced her husband and Luke's father.

Miranda looked at Luke with surprise. So these were his parents. Not surprising they got here first. They were the ones that owned the place after all. She was suddenly caught up in a hug from Luke's mothers. "Uh... hello." she said, smiling awkwardly. Once Mary let her go, Miranda held out her hand to Luke's father. This man was very dignified looking, almost intimidating. As he looked at her she fixed that though. He looked very intimidating. She felt completely inappropriate in her robe.

Luke smiled at his bride and smiled at her. "Why don't you on in and change. I'll entertain them until you're done." He told her. This was giving her a chance to look decent. He then turned to his parents. "Just having a little morning fun." He commented to them.

He then turned to his parents. "Just having a little morning fun." He commented to them. Miranda shot him a grateful look, glad he could read her so well. She headed of to the bed room. She was glad that she had her back to them. The last comment made her face turn red. He had to go and say something like that. After a few moments she returned wearing a red top and skirt. "Thank you for waiting." she said.

Luke smiled as she came back and offered his hand. If they were going to be a couple then they may as well act like one. "So this is Miranda" Luke said awkwardly. He then place his hand on her belly. "and this is your grandchild." He told his parents. Mary turned to her husband. "Told you I know my son, you now owe Miranda and I a fashion spree for a new wardrobe for both of us and the baby." The woman told her husband.

Miranda took his hand smiling nervously. She wondered how exactly they would react. Now, thinking about their reactions, she realized that they probably didn't think they were actually going to get together. She blinked at the Mary's reaction. She snorted and quickly covered her mouth to keep from laughing. For some reason she found this hilarious.

Mary turned around to explain herself. "You see I found a match maker who told me that you'd be perfect. My husband just so happen to have met your father before. So we set up a meeting and between your party girl ways and my son's party boy ways I thought that it was a good match, unlike Lucius." She told the couple.

Miranda laughed. A match maker? She couldn't be serious. No wonder Luke's father was dubious. "I'm sorry. I just never expected this." she said, apologizing for laughing. "I would mind meeting this person." She was pretty sure that despite the prediction it could have ended up the other way around. She was lucky. "Would you like something to drink? I'm sure it's been a long trip." she offered. Miranda wondered what was taking so long. Perhaps her father was backseat driving again....

Luke smiled. "Yes lets go to the living room. He guided his bride and parents to the house. "I'll have some water." Mary told the girl. "I'll have some wine." the older Luke answered. His wife jabbed him with her elbow. "He'll have water. It's not polite to drink in front of you."

Miranda shook her head. "It's fine. It's not like I can drink any." she replied. Not that she drank much anyway. Even the few night they drunk, Miranda still could barely hold her liquor. She got drunk way before Luke did. Not that they needed to know that. The drink were soon poured and she sat down.

Mary's attention was no on her son or husband at all. It was all over Miranda. "So I heard that you guys are getting married. Do you have any ideas and plans for the ceremony? What about the baby? I hope you understand that if it's a boy we'd like to name it Lucius Otis Chandler VI, if it's a girl then you'd have to think up something." The woman said ask she talked to her soon to be daughter-in-law.

Miranda was finding the unwavering attention that Mary gave her unnerving. So she put on the polite ladylike smile she was taught to do since birth, practically. "Not at the moment. I have have to much time to think about it. I do like the idea an an outdoor one." she said obligingly. "As for names, there will be many I can decide on over the course of the next few months." Somehow she got the feeling that this woman would get as much details out of her possible. Another car sounded outside. As well as the sound of bickering voices. Miranda stood up quickly. "I think I know who that is." she said, the sentence followed by knocking.

Luke didn't know if he should open the door or Miranda until his mother gave him this look of 'you better be a gentleman after all I've done for you' look. Luke responded with a frighten look at got up to get the door. He was going to meet his parent-in-laws now over later.

Miranda sat back down to with, with-holding a sigh. As the door opened the couple at the door stopped there whispered argument. Carlo Montez Delerosa gave Luke a ready smile. It was obvious that Miranda got her dark eyes from him, as he looked his son-to-be with a critical eye. Sandra Payton-Delerosa was less ready to smile but nodded in a dignified manner. "You must be the Lucius we have hear about." the man said holding out his hand.
