My blood test came back inconclusive. This means I have to go off the pill a week before testing again. (I started a new pack even though my period never arrived because the lateness might be caused by stress.)
Finally told Nick about being late and what I think is the probable cause. He freaked out quite a while, then finally calmed down - or pretended to.
I'm back at my parents' house, since I don't have the excuse of the soggy carpet triggering allergies, it was ripped out entirely today... I still don't want to be here.
I need to get out of this house FOREVER.

Maybe he's a little nervous too. And knowing how stressed you are, maybe he's just giving you some space. Or did I miss something out and you two fought? sweatdrop

No, we haven't fought... He actually came over this morning to take me to the clinic, and admitted he was being an a*****e because he was scared shitless. I think there was a mumbled "I'm sorry," in there somewhere. The test was negative. I was told to wait until my period actually comes down before starting a new pack of pills, then start over as if everything was normal. Aside from needing alternate contraceptives meanwhile, the real downside is no pills = horrible mood swings. Pity the people around me. I sure do. We got a couple of six packs of Coronas, some limes, and a big bag of frozen hot wings to bake at home.* I'm kind ofreally hung over right now... and he was in no condition to drive so he's snoring in the guest bedroom. Grumpy Lil' Tiger is keeping him company. * If you thaw the wings and bake them low and slow, it decreases the burn considerably. This is good to know because last time I accidentally got extra hot and paid for it - I will spare you the details.

Yeah, it was a relief for everyone involved. Ohhh you tempt me... Oh, he snores a little now and again, but with the alcohol.... yeesh. I don't think I could sleep in the same room with him this way! *GROAN* My heeeeeead.... Oh, I meant the burn from the hot sauce on them, but yes, thawed-low-and-slow makes for much better wings, especially the commercial ones. They don't burn, the skin crisps up nicely, and they cook all the way through. I hate getting a helping of charred skin and frozen meat.
