"Ah-ah!" Austin cautioned her. "Use the shoes in the bag. I picked them to go with your outfit. You are not allowed to deviate."

He went and sat down again, pulling Nixie by her leash into his lap as he watched Kaori finish getting dressed.

"Perfect," he said. "Let's go." Then he gave Nixie a pat on the rump, which made her jump up in shock. He stood and fished out Kaori's collar, which was black and silver.

"Wait here, ladies. It's my turn to change," he said, winking at them. He picked up yet another bag and went into the bathroom to change.

When he came out, he looked like the lovechild of Tombstone and Matrix. He wore a black leather fedora with a spiked chain hat band. He wore a silver silk button-down shirt and a black pants. His silver belt buckle depicted a skull set with victorian-esque swirls and fleurs. His full-length black leather duster buckled around the back between the waist and the hips, and the cuffs were studded with polished spikes. His boots were simple and shiny, just meant for kissing.

"Ladies, I believe," he whipped out his shades and put them on, "we have a party to crash."

Taking each woman's leash, he led them down stairs to a waiting limousine. Even though it went against his chivalrous streak, he got in the car first and then pulled the girls to him. He warped his arms around them, reassuring them with his touch as he gave the club address to the hired limo driver.

The entrance to the club was in a subterranean parking garage, which ensured privacy. Austin let both girls exit the car and then led them with their leashes to the bouncer. He was a bear of a man that hardly fit into the suit he wore. Austin just walked past him as if he knew the way to the club and the bouncer, after looking over the trio, let him by with a respectful nod.

Inside the club was unlike any rave that Nixie had ever imagined. There music wasn't overly loud. The club was designed with nooks and crannies, all filled with plush furniture. The bar had scantily clad servers with belled cat-collars taking trays of drinks to the various masters dotting the club.

"What was the name of the partner on the deed, pet?" Austin asked Nixie softly.

"Trey. Trey Mohorovicic," she replied.

"Now we need to find him. Kitling, if you were as important as, well, me, where would you sit?" he asked Kaori.

Austin unhooked the leash from her collar.

"Drinks, kitling," he said in a low, but carrying voice. He turned on his heel and walked Nixie to a collection of luxurious recliners and a fainting sofa. Using Nixie's leash, he guided her to lay on the fainting couch. Stretched out with the tapering skirt, she looked like a beautiful beached mermaid. He sat in a near-by recliner, gently tugging on the leash to keep Nixie's attention on him. He scanned the room, taking in all the other masters and pets.

There was a stage at one end that was probably used for displays or shows, but the curtain was drawn so there wasn't anything going on right now. Perhaps later in the night there would be something entertaining.

Austin sniffed his drink and held it out to Kaori. He glared at herr as if she had given him a bad drink on purpose.

"Take it back." His voice dripped with scorn and most of the club could hear it.

Nixie looked worried, but Austin kept her on a tight leash, literally. Austin watched Kaori move with a cold look on his face, but inside he promised to make it up to her. He wasn't upset with her or the drink, but he wanted the manager's attention. Better to get it now before the even really started than later when he had to pay attention to a hundred things.

Austin looked at the glass. "No. Still wrong," he snapped. "Get. Another. Drink." He grabbed her arm and pulled her close. "Don't let the bartender get you in trouble...unless you like being punished. Do it right, this time."

"So you are the one poisoning my taste tester with cheap whiskey and dirty glasses," Austin drawled when the bartender arrived. "Do you like watching pets getting abused for your mistakes? Or are you just INCOMPETANT?!?" he roared the last word, making sure that the whole club heard him.
