Yuzuki gave the boy one of his pattoned glares, but it abated slightly after a moment and he sighed, looking back at his book. "You're lucky that today is an "extra lesson" for those who started late kid, or I'd have you running laps around the village til you head spun." he didn't bother to say it was because of all the recent kidnappings targeting the academy students...there was a reason that there were so few students in today...not to mention all the top students were away with the Otokage at the political envoy to the chuunin exams.
"Take one of those scrolls over there on the wall, they contain the basic hand signs you'll need to master to be able to learn any and all of the jutsu that you'll learn from here on out, both the one's that you'll learn here at the academy, or out in the real world." he gave the boy a look. "Also, you should remember that I don't fuss around with my students. I don't know what they told you at the front desk but if you're in my class you're either going to be out of this program sooner rather than later. As a genin, with a failure, or in a body bag." he said all this with a dead monotone. "You read me..." he read the list on his desk. "...Charles...?" he blinked. "Hm, all these western kids recently. Makes it feel like we Otobe never home." he himself, after all, had been born and raised in the west with the rest of the clan before the reclamation of Oto.

He was here to learn and work on his medical jutsu to continue to be a medic ninja like the rest of his family. The teacher gave him the order to start training in hand signs , and informed him that he dose not make a 'fuss' with students. Charles looked over at the wall with the scrolls on it , then returned back to look at the teacher as he continued to speak to him. Charles smiled at his harshness but understood that he would be working his butt off to be come a genin. " I read you loud and clear." he said as he turned around and made his way over to the wall to retrieve a scroll so he could start training. The Oto village was very different from his hometown in the land of honey near the rock village. But after some training he would like to explore the village as he looks for herbs and poisons to add to his collection for his researcher in medical work. But first the hand signs would let him use medical jutsu.. a new twist on his medical training. ( Still simple posting profile. but I am getting there.)

This hand seal was new to him but he was able to learn it with little problem.With that in mind he questioned himself if the other would be the same if not harder. Rolant awoke from his unscheduled nap with a painful grimace. Apparently the machine had asked a question and it took him to long to answer. "Why did you not wake me any other way?" Rolant questioned the machine harshly.
"Because...well, just because." The machine chimed out in its monotone voice as it buzzed and whirred preparing the next question.
"What is the first thing to do when you suspect you've been trapped in a genjutsu?" The machine doled out in its monotone voice.
Rolant knew this one, afterall Estoqueur where genjutsu masters. "Realize that you are caught in a genjutsu" Rolant said confidently a smirk going across his face as the restraints loosed enough for him to stretch a cramp he had been dealing with for a bit.
"Correct." The machine seemed disappointed as it buzzed and whirred preparing the next set of question."EXteRMinAte! ThE ESTOqueUR" The machine screeched out in its regular malfunctioning tone.

Charles took a quick break as he took a drink of his water and watched the the guy in the hat wondering what he was doing. The signs where slowly getting harder and harder as he worked on them , it was thrilling as each one made it harder. He was disappointing that the joy of hard work was fading , but ether way he was making good time on his work and at this rate he would be able to harvest some herbs for his collection. His first impression on being a ninja was 'it would be hard' but this part was very easy to complete so far. Charles had a feeling he would soon have one that would prove it self difficult, but he waits for that to happen deep in his gut. He found himself feeling confident that he could complete this task and the only question is some of the hand sign where hard looking and he questions if they would be a problem once he gets to them. Charles was starting to feel hungry , he neglected to eat on his way out of his apartment. A soft smile appears on his face as he thinks about it would be the easiest looking one to be his problem. There was one more left on his list and the feeling that he would mess up lurked in the shadows, but he has done the training incredibly fast and this made it fun cause he is one sign away from training in jutsu.
