"Hop on!" Desirae offered her back again to Kary while the others were starting off. "Knowing our aunt, she's gotten the support of some powerful people. But she's done this in record time." Desirae informed getting Kary settled. "She was never a spy, but she was offered to be a general in her military days. She turned it down in order to run her businesses.""Oh sure, pair me with the crazy one..." Tina said under her breath, picking up Saiyaka on her back in a sort of limp piggy back fashion. " As you all heard, our rendezvous point is at the bridge exiting and entering this city." Elle informed looking around making sure the coast was clear. "We're to meet up with three trucks carrying soldiers and supplies. After that we need to track down any other survivors and get them to the trucks." she ordered checking her bow. "By the way I really hate giving orders like this, but in a time like this we need to get this done quickly. There's not much time for anything really." she foreshadowed.

Ventes AllaratusxxxxxVentes looked to Aunt Elle. "Nice to meet you. My name is Ventes" He told her after she gave out the orders. Ventes looked over to the giant spider, which he now realized, due to the liquids leaking from it, that it was at least mostly mechanical. As he started walking closer to it he was careful to observe all movements and their causes, just to be sure it was "dead". When he stopped walking, he was right next to the large contraption. He looked inside and saw that this thing was either put together by an amateur, or in a rush. Most likely the latter of the two. A lot of the metals were rusted and there were leaks everywhere, most caused by the fact that supports couldn't support the weight of the bot and caved in just slightly, damaging the pipes. When he thought about its combat, he figured that if it had been put together correctly, it would have been much tougher. "Which direction would that bridge happen to be in?" He asked Elle. It's not like he could help it. He was just randomly dropped in here. Wherever here, was.

"It's to the north. This city is a small island south of the main continent." Elle informed taking a left then looked back at Ventes; "Could you guard the rear while my nieces carry these two?" she asked of Ventes. "We're not completely useless carrying these two, it's just a precaution. But you'll keep us safe for the moment won't you Mr. Hero?" smiled Desirae."Oh gawd! Hey fly boy, don't get any idea's with my sister! You two just met after all!" threatened Tina and getting Saiyaku situated. "Comfy Kary? I'll try to make the ride as smooth as possible. All aboard the...something Express!" chirped Desirae as she ran out of the alley looking around. "It will be faster if we take the roof tops. I'll take point so keep on my heels." she ordered leaping up to a fire escape and the again to the roof above that. Tina jealously joked following her aunt; "How she can run in those heels always kills me."

Atticus Kowalski rubbed his eyes hard until stars and sparkles danced before him, he had been sitting in the same cramped position watching his little battery powered TV for several hours and the he was growing quite tired of watching Family Guy, switching to the static where the local news should be, getting frustrated and going back to the cartoon. He stood up suddenly, hitting his head on the bunk bed above him and cursing quietly, rubbing his scalp tenderly he decided that curling up in a bunk bed, watching cartoons, and waiting to die wasn't a particularly productive thing to do. He had learned of the infection early on, and after checking in on his father and sister, battened down in the biggest dorm on his floor and basically ignored any horrific sounds (though there were a lot of them) coming from the rest of the campus. He grabbed his messenger bag and stuffed some extra clothes, his long dead cell phone and charger, and a few other things from his room that struck him as useful, before exiting the room to search the rest of the campus. He was weary of lurking walkers and the fact that as of that moment he did not have any sort of defense.
After thirty minutes of searching he came to the front of the university with a backpack full of surgical and embalming tools, and an antique looking revolver with a box of ammo. Atticus looked around the city, quite shocked he'd known there had been a lot of damage and he'd even heard some noises more alarming than zombies but actually seeing the destruction brought him to his knees. There were corpses all around him, flames licking debris that littered the streets, and blood splattered on nearly everything, pulling himself up from his knees he brandished the lacrosse bat he found under the bed and pulled his backpack straps tighter before setting off. He walked for what seemed like miles without seeing any movement, other than the occasional quiet shambling from an alley that he didn't dare to investigate, until finally he saw something promising. Someone was walking carefully, and specifically, very unlike the steps of the undead, golden hair bobbing through the darkness. "Hey." he whisper yelled, trying to gain the figures attention without getting it from any other creatures. Pulling himself together, since he was still a little shaky from the sight of the city, he stood straight and tried to look like he had his s**t together before the man turned around.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Hello Darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk to you again Because a vision softly creeping Left its seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain, Still remains, Within the sound of silence.
In restless dreams I walked alone, Narrow streets of cobblestone. 'Neath the halo of a street lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp, When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light, That split the night, And touched the sound of silence. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄Morgan actually jumped at the sound of the whisper, but as he saw the man who had called him, he asserted that he was living, and therefore not as much of a threat than he had feared. He took a moment to compose himself before making his way quickly, and carefully, over to the man that had called to him. "Hey... you have to be the first survivor I've seen since the infection... how did you make it?" he asked him softly, half curious, and half anxious to start a conversation.
He'd been alone for too long in his opinion, but he told himself that he'd had no choice. He had to find some food and shelter. Some clean water would be nice, but he'd take what he could get for the moment. A travelling companion would be better than going it alone, but they'd have to find shelter soon of they'd both be very open and very vulnerable.

Prometheus mentions something about collecting the water in containers in case the supply runs out. This sounds like a great idea to Xavier.
"That's very smart." He says. He immediately starts searching the kitchen, going through each cupboard to try to find containers to fit the water in. After only a few minutes of searching, he returns to the sink with about ten tupperware bowls, an empty coffee can and a pitcher.
He lets the tap run, then begins filling each container with the water. It takes nearly twenty minutes to fill every container; but once they are all filled, he puts the lids on all of them, securing them tightly, then puts them in the refrigerator.
Feeling in higher spirits because of this good planning, he wanders off to see where Coraline disappeared to. He found her in an empty bedroom, lying on the bed with her eyes closed. "Are you sleeping?" He asked quietly, so as not to startle her.

 Coraline opens her eyes and pushes herself up to look at Xavier. "no, I was just relaxing. Did you get container's and put water in them?" Coraline ask's quickly, getting their attention off her lacking. {Sorry I didnt put very much, I really dont know what else she could do.}

Xavier gave Coraline a faint smile as she sat up. "Yeah. Me and Prometheus filled up a bunch of containers. Should be set on water for a while now." He said.
Xavier strolled over to the other side of the room, and pulled back the dusty curtains that hung over one of the windows. The window was lined with at least an inch of grime and dust. It was hard to see out of it. Xavier sighed, and returned back to the doorway.
"There really is nothing to do here." He said to Coraline. He then thought of an idea. "Hey, what do you think about exploring the city? To look for any survivors or supplies? I mean, we're going to run out eventually. And I think it might be a good idea to reinforce the place. Make it stronger; more safe. I can go ask Prometheus and Icarius what they think." ((Haha, don't worry about it razz ))

Coraline scoots herself to sit at the edge of the bed. She looks at Xavier thinking is he crazy? Then thinks and gives a weak smile"your right. But we cant just look in any store thinking they might have the supplies we need.I suggest we look into a gun store and see if they have any ammo for that gun I gave you. Next we should check for a food market but before we take any food we should let Prometheus check the food and make sure its edible to eat."As Coraline went on and on of which store's they should check she stops herself."I'm sorry, I just thought that we just might want to do that..."

Verra hummed and clicked periodically without thinking as he crawled along with the group. "Ssso, if you told him to, sssay, grab a sssteel beam and ssstick it up his own arse, he'd lisssten?" he inquired of Sydelle, not even bothering to hide his s**t-eating grin and flashing a look at the creature lumbering along with them.
For once, however, all pretensions of mirth were wiped from the alien's face when their path put them out in a small clearing that was ******** overflowing with undead. "Bartholomew," he hissed in a low voice, keeping his eyes fixed on the creatures and, therefore, not noticing their supposed leader's mental lapse. "This had better not have been part of the plan, you ******** -- what the s**t?"
The man had begun screaming, outright screaming, at one of the zombies that shuffled up to him. What the ******** was he thinking? Verra let out an exasperated sigh that sounded vaguely like a screech, and then he was less a flurry than a quietly calculated process of motion; clamoring farther up the building, nimble fingers pulling grenades from hiding places all over his body -- places that, really, there oughtn't be room to hide any sort of weapon. He pulled pins out with his tongue and threw the grenades with both hands, and though the movement looked haphazard, he actually was taking care not to hit any of his companions, whom he could see cutting through the crowd quite clearly.
It didn't take long for the little group to dispatch of the entire horde. Verra elected to stay on his perch and throw his voice down to Bartholomew. "Got sssome sssort of explanation, hm?"
[sorry this took so long, guys >> been a busy weekend.]

Bartholomew looked over at Verra with a confused look on his face. "Whatcha talking about?" He asked, an eyebrow raised. "Explanation for what?" He asked again, his arms shoved into his pockets. Shrugging, as if he didn't really care, an easy smile returned to his face as he turned and walked on. "Y'all better hurry up! Don't know when we might run into a group of meat eaters!" He called over his shoulder.
He suddenly stopped, a serious look on his face, as his head was turned towards something lying away from the group on the ground. "Interesting..." He muttered to himself, then, pretending as if he hadn't seen anything, like blood dripping from out of nowhere, he continued to cross the square with not a care in the world.

Ventes Allaratusxxxxx"Yes Ma'am" He said to her as he drew his sword again and walked away from the giant machine and stopped behind her nieces. When Desirae called him her hero he chuckled slightly. When Tina threatened him he just looked at her. "It's not my policy" He reassured her. Ventes jumped a short height, then shot himself upwards and landed gracefully on the edge of the building. He started looking his sword over, making sure it wasn't damaged while he waited for Desirae to follow the other two.

Lucius Cypher ۩════════════════════════۩ "Where there is Distress, therein lies a Story. Where there is a Story, therein lies a Will. Where there is a Will, therein lies a Soul." ۩════════════════════════۩ Lucius was watching, ever watching, on the walls of a building. Where was he, he sometimes thought. What is going on, is another. Who's next, was a question on his mind. He hungered for flesh; flesh of the living, or the dead. Or from what he had observed, the living dead. Lucius had heard of such creatures; zombies, some call them. Ghouls, which came form vampires, if he remembered correctly. Either way, it was time to eat. Lucius fell off the wall and landed on the ground below with a splat, but he was unharmed. It was difficult to harm a gelatinous form. That was the most likely reason he manged to live this long. He began to slither along, looking for something to eat. Flesh. Meat. Humans. Zombies. ((Hello everyone. I'm new, and I do hope that non-human characters are allowed.))

☰ ☱ ☲ ☳ ☴ ☵ ☶ ☷█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ “Are you ******** kidding me?” Grumbling, Tora walked with the other, waiting for a moment as they were told to wait for Bartholomew to take care of whatever was there. Did he really think that they weren’t going to be able to tell if there was a group of zombies? Sighing softly, the woman ran a hand through her short silver hair, waiting as she looked around slowly. The comment about the beast of Blondie didn’t go unnoticed, but at the moment they had more important things to deal with than the woman’s issues.
But then the screaming started.
Stiffening, the woman instantly was in the square, her eyes widening. She said nothing, the gun coming from the holster immediately. Square shots were taken, the woman never missing, but the moment they were gone… He said that there were no zombies there. “Are you ******** kidding me?!” Hissing, she looked at Sydele with a small confused look, turning to Verra… so she wasn’t the only one that noticed that something was wrong. Walking to Bartholomew, she took him by the arm as they walked, speaking low so that he would hear but they wouldn’t alert any other hungry pals.
“You started screaming and going insane… Tell us that you don’t remember, please do. We all love working with those that are insane…” Her golden eyes watched the other, a frown on her lips. Psychopath, it seemed… but she had her own issues, an alien had issues without saying anymore, and surely Blondie did. But… still. Theirs wasn’t getting them killed or drawing attention to themselves… █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║☰ ☱ ☲ ☳ ☴ ☵ ☶ ☷

Sydelle WestYou're not a hero, you're a liar...
Sydelle managed to show no surprise other than her eyes widening. Interesting. She thought. Our guide has issues of his own. But outright questioning him wouldn't reveal much. And if it did, well there were already people asking the questions. "Psychopath or not, I suggest we resume moving before the reinforcements arrive." She said dryly.
...you're not a savior, you're a vampire.
