 "You chose poorly."
The headmaster pulled, and with a sickening pop Isaac's arm was dislocated. But no sooner had the red aura enveloped the cadet, it had winked out. "Esuna." The headmaster cast disdainfully. The young man had just enough time to break free of his hold, but was not quick enough to surpass the older man, whom had raised a hand, no longer gripping the youth's hair, to catch the elbow and halt it's path, the young man's strength returned to normal. Using the momentum of the elbow strike, as well as the cadet's attempt to trip him, the headmaster took hold of Isaac and spun, launching him away from himself. Although he fell down in the process, dropping to his hands and knee, the latter would have found himself flying outside the office and into the hall, where there would be less damage to the already abused office.
He stood, brushing the debris of his door off of himself. When he finished, he stared down at Isaac. "The kind who has already lost it all, and desperately wishes to keep from losing everything else. Just as your daughter is important to you, this Garden is important to me." He coolly stepped over the broken door and out into the hall as he spoke, expression devoid. "You are not the only one who wishes to protect that which is most precious to him, and see that he grows up to be the person you always hoped he would be. That he will outlive you and grow up to make you happy and proud, regardless of what life he chooses." The headmaster's expression grew strained as he spoke. "Twice now I have lost them... what would you, a child, understand of the pain of a man who has had to outlive and bury both his children and his children's children? You have a daughter to look after? I have an entire Garden. And while this little fiasco goes on Galbadia continues to make preparations to see that this Garden and everyone within it burns to the ground. You have the option to leave with your daughter, and know that she is alive and struggle out there to continue to see that she stays that way. Just as I have the option to remain here, and fight to ensure that I lose nothing more important to me."
His expression faded, and his shoulders slumped. "Now go. Do what you will, but trouble me no further." And with that, the headmaster turned to return to his office.

Well. That was sound. Rising silently from his defeat, he knew he was beat, though, he wouldn't accept it. Isaac wasn't in denial about it, just more focusing on the, as he saw, ill fit surprise attack. At the best, it was a foul move, and the worst, dirty, and as he brushed off his shoulders and arms, he frowned as the Headmaster spoke. "Understand your pain?" He questioned aloud. "So, that's it? You lose your children and grandchildren, and all of a sudden I should lose my daughter to know a fraction of what you've lost?" Taking a moment to laugh, Isaac shook his head, though keeping his eyes on the Headmaster. He wouldn't open himself up for another attack, especially as he was ready for it just in case now. Especially with what he was about to say.
"You say I chose poorly, but it's your choices that's leading Galbadia's military to our doorstep. Your choice that is now endangering my daughter. And your choice that not only are your children and children's children dead, but no doubt all of the others who will fall here, and those innocents caught in the crossfire." Low blow, most definitely, but there wasn't much in the way of being able to stay with the Garden any longer. "Lecture someone else about protection and loss." He couldn't risk Robin being around in an Galbadian attack. Children casualties weren't accidents or rare in those situations.
But before he left he needed to find someone who could look after Robin in the worst case scenario, in case he was drawn back into the fight for whatever reason. For now though, he would need his arm tended to, before trying to pack and explain to Robin that they had to leave. Go visit the big city or something. It was going to be irritating to be sure, but at the end of the day of Isaac couldn't get proper pay or meal, he could be a pretty decent thug if it came down to it. Taking a moment to break his gaze on the Headmaster, he held his dislocated arm, eyes returning to the only other man around as he took a step backwards.
Of course, even with his harsh words, and being unable to come off as anything but ungrateful to everything done on his behalf, Isaac was anything but. Still, he couldn't take how the Headmaster was acting now, or the things about to happen. He had spent a lot of time here, and learned and gained a fair amount of things.

Yuka

Yuka and her brother, once he was conscious again given her previous actions, had only a brief conversation in regards to their plans. It became clear that between the two of them, neither had any intention of abandoning the Garden. They'd been living there long enough to count it as home, and they weren't about to forsake their home. Still, they had much they needed to figure out. As it were, Yuka and her brother were not SeeD. They weren't exactly strong, but they could at least come up with ways that they might be of some help so those who would be fighting. Any chance of a prolonged conversation was cut off by the sound of a crash down the hall. "What in the heavens..." Yuka muttered, hurrying out of her seat and out of the office door. Her timing was good enough to see the headmaster restraining Isaac before throwing him as Isaac tried to retaliate. She blinked once, then twice, before hurrying down the hall. What was going on?!
"Then why don't you just get out?" Yuka called, fuming as she neared. She was still several yards from Isaac and clearly unarmed, if he was hostile, but she spoke up anyways, looking indignant. "Everyone who didn't want to fight were told to leave, so innocents wouldn't be caught in the cross fire. I doubt you could understand what it's like to lead such an organization, so don't speak to the headmaster in such a condescending tone!" Yuka clearly didn't care that Isaac was older than her. She knew him of course, and of the girl he was talking about. A lot of students know of Isaac given his special circumstance. It also didn't help that many knew how many times Isaac had failed his SeeD exam. So, she knew him quite well.
"I don't know what your problem is, but if you've no interest in helping us fight, you don't have a right to be here. I'd say the Garden has offered you much, the same as it has the rest of us, but this is how you show your respect for it? Attacking the headmaster whom is the one who admitted you and talking down to him? Some of us just take and take and take and can never be grateful for what we get, I guess." The last bit was muttered, Yuka speaking to herself. She wasn't happy, partly because she had a good idea of who would be fixing the door (her) and a good idea of who would be repairing any other damage to the headmasters office (also her). "Isaac, if you have no interest in helping us, just leave. No one will blame you for running to protect your daughter. If you think her chances of survival are better out there, go. You're not the only one who has nothing out there, but some will still go with nothing waiting for them. And others will stay, because this their home. Your daughter is probably old enough to be able to tell you what she thinks is best. Why not ask her?"

xxxY i nxxA z u r e nx████████████ ❤ ███████████████████████████████Given that Yin's eyes were closed and she had fallen silent, it seemed like the girl might have actually fallen asleep in the chair. Until the sound of the coffee maker finishing reached her ears and she instantly sat upright with an eager expression, reaching forwards to take the cup from Tae. Her fingers closed around the warm cup and she brought it close to her face, inhaling the smell with an oddly blissful look, and then taking a sip. Even though it was still hot she didn't seem to mind. Perhaps drinking so much of the stuff had gotten her used to it. "Ah...you are a saint, thank you!" Yin sat back with a contented sigh, flashing a grateful smile at Tae.
Her gaze then flicked between the two girls in the room as Tae spoke to Ellale, watching their interaction intently. "Hmm..." She was mildly intrigued by Tae's comment about joining the other girl in bed and tilted her head slightly, wondering if she could ask Tae some of the questions now running through her head without being yelled at for nosing into her personal business. The girl shrugged as Tae spoke to her and took another sip of her drink, swinging her legs restlessly like a bored child. "Eh, I don't care. Heck, I love naps, I'd even join you." She smirked at Tae, clearly teasing. "I don't think there's space in your bed for three of us though, so I'll leave it to you two. You look like you need the rest more. Also I don't want to be murdered when I inevitably steal the blankets..." Apparently it was easy for Yin to see that Tae needed sleep too, even if she was pretty tough.
However to the girl's surprise Ellale suddenly got up and left in a hurry, an act which Yin previously wouldn't have thought her capable of given her state. She blinked, watching the girl disappear out of the door, and then glanced at Tae. "Well...I guess she had somewhere else she wanted to be..." Yin took another sip of her coffee, relaxing in the chair as if she intended to go to sleep. She had no inclination to follow Ellale, though Aethusa gave a faint whine. Whatever Tae did was up to her. Though at that point the PA suddenly sounded, making Yin crack open an eye and frown slightly. After the typical crazy introduction by the Announcer and Yuka, Yin sat up slightly, now paying more attention. "The Headmaster huh...?" She muttered, still frowning. As the message from the old man followed, informing the entire garden of their dire situation, Yin's expression grew even more concerned. Halfway through she shot a sharp glance towards Tae, as if suddenly connecting something in her mind. Finally when the message was over Yin closed her eyes and sighed before knocking back the last of her coffee in one big gulp. "Mmh...this day is just getting more interesting by the second. I have not had nearly enough coffee to handle it." She muttered."health || 440 junction || aethusa, ebi magic || fire cure blind silence scan location || outside tae's room x███████████████████ ❤ █████████████████████████████████████████████████████xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWithout a sound the lights die, plunging everything into a deep darknessxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThere, in Hell, blooms a single cherry tree...xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThis night again, scattered under a violet moon~

Turning a bit to face Yuka, he sort of expected to get hit again now that he didn't have his eyes on the Headmaster, he stared blankly at her as she began. He didn't want to be upset at the girl but... she wanted to stand up for the Headmaster, which could have been fine if it wasn't for what just happened, but instead of addressing that, he approached the wall as she spoke. Taking a moment to feel his shoulder, grimacing only slightly from the pain as he tried to find the right angle to relocate his shoulder, his cool blue eyes didn't drift from Yuka. Was she really so naive? Did she think that no innocents would be harmed? "That simple, huh? We can run and be safe? Good thing there aren't monsters or diseases out there..."
His reply was sarcastic, and his mood foul, though it had began that way when he entered, they both seemed to wash over the ease of taking care of a young child. Isaac couldn't believe the old man's words about knowing loss. The man didn't even hesitate to write off his daughter as just another number that he had no responsibility for. "Attack?" He questioned, using the wall as leverage to snap his arm back in place, the motion apparently barely effecting him as he didn't slow him down. "Self-defense." He corrected, using a cure spell on his arm to help with any complications he could have gained from that.
Passing by Yuka, he really didn't have much to say to her past that. She seemed to have the idea he was ungrateful and had no interest in helping out. To an extent, he was, but it wasn't as if he could fight an army off and guarantee Robin's safety, which really was the crux of it all. Not that either of them cared enough to consider an alternative, and it wasn't like he was able to offer any services in recompense for helping getting out of Winhill's area. Stopping at the elevator, Isaac sighed, he still had a nurse to go see as he pressed the button.

Your world needs a great defender Your world's in the way of harm Junctions: Leviathan Level: 9 Health:500/600 Mood: "Never again" Location: Winhill Garden Magic: Water (2), Blizzard (1)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Song(s) of the moment: In Your Belief
It was still quiet now. Clothes laid scattered against the ground as the room itself was bathed in a warm golden light. Lloyd laid in the bed, but he was not alone. Sheltered in his arms was Sophia who had stayed with him when he arrived. Such soft skin rested bare against his own. The comforter laid over them both however, upon further inspection they were both devoid of clothing.
The warm smile and blush on their cheeks made it clear that they took a huge step in their relationship. Lloyd ran his fingers through her hair and trails his hand over her body gently. He never wanted this to end. All too soon...did the headmaster come over the intercom and make a stunning announcement Letting what was said register, Lloyd sat up and allowed it all to sink in. This was troubling indeed and he needed to speak with the Headmaster. After hurriedly slipping on his clothes, Lloyd kissed Sophia longingly "I'll be back, I need to speak with him" he said before disappearing out of the door.
"Move it! Get out of the way!"
Footsteps tattered down the hallways that were overcome by the silence of shock. Everything was turned on its head! That Letter from Riyel...and now this?! Dammit why wouldn't the world just slow down?! What the headmaster said echoed in everyone's mind. A choice, an ultimatum.
'So I will give each of you an option. To pack your bags, say your good-byes, and leave now, and return home and forget about this place; or to stay, and prepare for the storm that is coming this way. I have no right to ask any of you to give up your lives for something that you did not commit or have anything to do with, nor will I attempt to persuade you to do otherwise. But do know, that those of you who stay... I will fight to see that each of you live through this, at any costs.'
Those Lloyd ran he saw a variety of expression. Some were angry, others looked empty, but they all shared a feeling of fear. He had to talk to the headmaster! Lloyd tore down the halls and finally came to the reflective pool, he gazed up to the third floor than took off for the stairs. So much was going through his mind, too much to process. "Damn you Galbadia!" he hissed as he ascended the staircase.
His time with Sophia was still fresh in his mind...and now also what was in the letter Riyel gave him. Lloyd had to protect them...he had to protect everyone! The promised storm was approaching and he wouldn't let Winhill fall! NEVER! The blonde gritted his teeth against the flames of war. His eyes were fierce and expression defiant. Who the hell did the Galbadia's think they were? He'd show them! He'd show all of them the true power Winhill possessed. Abruptly, he felt a tug from within and knew...Leviathan wanted to speak.
"So..your fears are being realized. What will you do Lloyd?" the Serpant's voice echoed in his mind.
"What else?! I'll stand by Winhill and take them down!" Lloyd retorted continuing on his way.
"Are you certain? You have already witnessed their might and already some of Winhill's own hath fallen. Lloyd...beware that woman...Edea" All at once Lloyd's footsteps came to a halt as the face of Edea flashed across his mind. With her face came...
"Sou-ho..." he muttered seeing that horrid sight once more.
"I understand that you feel more than compelled to defend these people but ask yourself something important...will you truly be able to keep your promise? When the fully might of Galbadia bares down upon you...can you truly protect everyone?"
"Grr...cut it out! I'll do it Leviathan! I...I owe Sou-ho, Kalay, and Lisanna that much at least." He replied but...there was a faint doubt in his voice.
Within his mind he could visualize Leviathan's massive coils within its watery domain and the GFs stare piercing him for any signs of weakness. "Do not mistake foolishness for courage. While it's true you are needed here...reflect upon who truly needs you and what you can truly do. As always my power will aid you whatever you decide. Be prepared to face the consequences. " With that Leviathan submerged himself once more leaving Lloyd to his thoughts. The blonde clenched his fist trying to block out what Leviathan said.
This wasn't a matter of whether or not he was weak it was the matter of keep his word. When he looked at all of those stunned faces earlier he saw cadets who didn't know what to expect or what it'd be like. How could he just protect his friends when they needed help too? No...Lloyd would protect them...he'll protect everyone! With that he continued on his way. When he finally came to the third floor he was met with the sight of Yuka, a man, the headmaster's hallway, and...Riyel? Not to far away was Riyel...had he come here for the same reasons? It's funny...looking from here it felt like Lloyd was looking into a mirror. After what was in that note it only made sense now. They had the same expression and simultaneously turned and approached the headmaster's office.
It troubled Lloyd to see the door in shambles, but there were bigger problems. Though, admittedly he tried to avoid Yuka's gaze for the time being. Before long they were before the headmaster's desk and Lloyd saluted. "Headmaster, excuse the intrusion. I am Winhill Operative Lloyd Nipal, personal student of Kyrddis Lane. I heard your announcement earlier...however I have not come to accost you sir. Whatever you need done before Galbadia bares down on us I shall do so gladly. I will not abandon the garden sir, that I swear." he said bowing his head

Riyel had continued to sit there for the longest time, allowing the strain from the intense training to slowly fade into nothing. His hand however, still continued to shake if only slightly. Any individual could look upon the blonde SeeD and from his position, it appeared as if he were dozing. To most people, it would seem insane that he had basically just returned from a mission only to continue pushing himself. Rest would seem like a necessary thing, almost recommended yet Riyel did not care. Even as he sat there, not giving away any sign of consciousness, he was astute and alert while attempting to clear his mind and focus on the things that he had to do. A myriad of swirling thoughts were sorting through his mind, attempting to sort each into what he knew he had to do. Among such subjects were the itinerary of obtaining a new Gunblade, completely necessary since his old blade lay in the rummage of the mayor's manor in Deling. Another topic was...Lloyd in general. Riyel knew that a confrontation was going to take place sometime in the near future. Almost guaranteed. Fortunately, there wasn't a whole lot that he could do to plan for that exchange of words. No preparation that he could ponder that would or could answer the questions or remarks the other blonde would have for him. Spontaneous. On the spot. Those were the only ways that he could imagine it in its entirety playing out.
At that, he stirred. His head slowly raised and looked about the room, the other trainees and SeeD going about their various exercises without a single glance towards him. For a moment, he thought about continuing his training with the same vigor that he held moments prior. But now, the spirit seemed to have faded off for the moment, having been lost in the depth of thought he had burrowed into. Riyel certainly held enough motivation to stand though. Things had to be done and sitting would get nothing accomplished...of course, showering maybe wouldn't hurt. In other words: he stunk. I stink enough to repulse a Malboro. That thought gave him a dry chuckle, shaking his head as he entered the locker room, running a quick shower and changing into new clothes before going off to do his little list of chores. First off, he went towards the armory and got his business done there. To begin with, he knew that changes would have to be made to his weapon...and he got down to business with the man behind the counter. While there, he also placed an order for a sidearm, figuring that there would be some need for ranged attacks in the somewhat near future. With a nod towards the weapon man behind the counter, Riyel turned about and began to walk. There were other things that he wanted to do. Like get something to eat or go to the library...hell, or even do both. All seemed like something to do to occupy his time and at least do something productive. I still wonder what Lloyd and the others are doing though? the thought rang out strong...and was an honest question. After giving the letter to Lloyd, Riyel had not seen anyone from the previous missions. It wasn't too large of an issue...but he wondered if the others were resting alright. The lot of them had certainly gone through hell in the past couple of days, and it was hard not to be concerned about people you had done so much together with...hell, they had started a war together!
Worrying? At first, Riyel had thought it was Ifrit was speaking to him again...but it was...Elliot? Riyel merely shook his head at the baby dragon's question...the fact that he had used an actual word was impressive. "Not as worried as I've been before." he replied grimly, the little dragon squawking in his head. No worries... It wasn't a question this time...but Riyel could figure that the little Guardian Force had understood the words that left his mouth...or his mind...whichever you wanted to call it.
Worrying however, was destined to continue trying creeping up on him. Ifrit didn't say a word even as the intercom came on featuring the headmaster's voice. However...it wasn't worry that Riyel felt as the information of what was going on was spilt throughout the entirety of the Garden. At least it wasn't only just worry...nor just fear. Rather, the description of it all seemed beyond him even as he took off. His wanderings to begin with had been misdirected. Now though, a direction was clear for the blonde SeeD...the headmaster's office. It took a couple of minutes to get there of course but upon the arrival in the hallway...the second part of his to do list appeared...Lloyd. At first, Riyel was tempted to say something but the two blondes ran to the Headmaster's door appearing almost exactly identical in every way, even stopping at the same time while staring at eachother. The future was clear. After this little fiasco...they would have the chat of a lifetime. So slowly taking a breath, Riyel walked in behind Lloyd to stand in front of the Headmaster's desk. "How can we help you, Headmaster? What do we have to do." The course was set.

As Yuka dealt with Isaac, the headmaster retired to his office. What remained on the hinges of the door frame was a sorry sight, and as much as he would have liked to take it off then the fatigue of everything seemed to catch up, and a few seconds later he was lowering himself back into his chair once more. Giving himself a moment to collect himself, he reached for his pen and prepared to continue with his previous agenda; to send word to the headmasters of Trabia and Balamb, old military friends, and various others whom had either come into his debt or friendship. Essentially, people whom he might be able to pull favors from to see that the Garden would last until the end of the week.
It was perhaps within Winhill's fortune that there was already a war going on. Although he was reluctant to bet any chances that Trabia would be willing to lend their forces with Galbadia knocking on their door, perhaps an agreement could be reached between the two Gardens. At the very least he could hope that Galbadia would continue to focus their attention on the other battles they had going on. 'But in the end, it will continue to be a losing battle so long as Galbadia continues to have the upper hand.' And that upper hand came from having the larger forces, and then there is the... 'Missile base. So long as they have that they will metaphorically hold everyone at gun point.' The headmaster thought, tapping the desk in thought.
In most cases of war, particular a war for conquest, the main objective in fighting is to reduce the number of deaths on either side, and to preserve as much of each settlement you took as possible. Because when you finally raise your flag and proclaim the men who fought your men as yours, and hang your banners in each city you claim, you add to your own strength, and to the strength of your nation. Galbadia would not risk senseless destruction when they are attempting to expand. But then, that had been Vinzer Deling's goal. What of Edea's?
There is still much to be said for what Kramer will do in her new found position as ambassador of Galbadia. And even more troubling, there had been no word from or of the president... And after a bombing like what just occurred, it would have been absolutely prudent for the leader of the nation to come forward and assure everyone that he was okay. At the very least there would have been mention of him being injured by now. Even though only a day had passed, the growing silence of President Deling was as much a concern as the army marching on his Garden.
The headmaster was promptly pulled from his thoughts, as someone approached his desk and announced himself. "Lloyd Nipal..." He said, stroking his mustache. "Well, that is a name I recall. Kyrrdis has spoken fondly of you, though my grandson less so..." The headmaster stood, and held his hand out for Nipal to shake. "Good work on the mission in Deling, son. You did well defending your team and getting them home safely, and I am pleased to hear that you will be remaining here. We need as many competent fighters as we can to defend Winhill Garden."
"Riyel... I suppose I couldn't ask for you to resume your janitorial duties just this once to clean up my floor, could I?" The headmaster chuckled with a quiet mirth, but resumed his seriousness in moments. "There is something that needs done. Something that may be paramount to not only our survival, but many others. As you two may know, Galbadia is in possession of a missile base. Armed with intercontinental missile warheads that could reduce entire cities to ashes. I do not suspect, nay, hope that they will resort to using them. But these are troubling times, and in war I am not willing to take any chances.
"Lloyd, I would like for you to gather a team and depart as soon as possible for Galbadia's Missile Base, and see that the base, and the missiles, are disarmed and rendered useless. I don't want to even let them have the chance to prepare a course for those missiles. I don't expect you to hold the base, but if you can cause any amount of damage that might weaken Galbadia, and perhaps slow them up, you would be doing a tremendous favor to not only this Garden, but to Trabia, and Balamb. In fact... I even have a recruit you can take with you.
"Yuka!" The headmaster called, voice reaching out into the hall. "Send the cadet into my office. I have a task for him that might be perfect for someone of his... disposition."

Tae had known on a few occasions that Yin was a blanket hog. The two had shared Tae’s bed a few of the first times when Yin had joined her to return to her home. After complaining enough times to both her parents and to Yin her mother had replaced her bed with a bigger one and made extra blankets for Yin so they didn’t have to share blankets either. However, she didn’t expect Ellale to do what she had done. Her eyes wide and a shocked expression as the other girl disappeared out the door. Yin’s words barely registered with her. ”I’m sorry Yin.” Hopefully the girl would understand and that they could meet up later if she or her GF didn’t follow after. With that she fled the room and out into the hallway. Her eyes quickly darting from one side to the next catching Ellale before she made it to the corner and disappeared behind that. ”Kitten!” she called before she slightly stumbled into a run down the hallway. A few people glanced her way as she dashed passed them. It didn’t seem like Ellale heard her call or she ignored her. Perhaps she wanted to be alone. Something inside of Tae tightened at the thought. Did she really want to be alone? Would it be too pushy of Tae to want to stay by the girls side? The questions that swirled inside her head had enough impact and second guessing herself to slow down. However, she’d caught up enough to watch Ellale enter her brother’s room and close the door behind her. With a sigh Tae slowed down to a walk as the words of the headmaster broke through her thoughts. Stopping just outside of the door she listened to his speech. So… the time had come. Taking a lungful of air she stared at the wood door. A hand pressed against its surface. Perhaps it would be best if she sent Ellale away back to her home and to her mother. The poor woman would already have a trouble taking in the death of one child, but both? Tae didn’t think the woman would be able to handle it. ”Oh, Kitten…” With her eyes closed she pressed her forehead against the door. People who still had the mind to move by now and walked by probably gave her a strange look as she stood there. Some might have thought she had feelings for the man who would no longer be able to walk into this room again. Turning around she pressed her back to the door and slid down. If Ellale wanted some space alone Tae could give her that much for now. With her knees up against her chest she rested her arms then her head down upon them. If Tae was completely honest with herself as well she didn’t think she’d be able to live without Ellale. Somehow the girl had been able to warm herself into a place in her heart that would surely kill her if Ellale were to leave this world. One of her arms moved to hug her knees closer to her. Tae wouldn’t leave though if anything else. No, she’d run to this place for reasons she’d never told anyone and to leave now when it needed her the most would destroy everything she’d set forth for herself. She would never forgive herself if she gave up now. A hand absently moved to an old scar that ran across her body and over her chest. She rubbed at the spot that rested over her heart as an old pain started to throb slightly. ღ OOC: ღ

Ellale couldn't say for sure, absolutely, how long she laid on her side staring at her brother's wall. She definitely remained like that for a while, the headmaster's voice traveling easy through the silent room as she lay there. She couldn't really say she listened, but she got the gist of it just from picking up words here and there. Leave, or stay. It was totally up to all of them. She remained laying on her side, staring at the wall before slowly pushing herself. "I have to decide if I stay or go." She whispered. Part of her wanted to run, to leave it all. Part of her wanted revenge for her brother. Part of her wanted to throw a tantrum like a child about losing her brother. And then, part of her wanted to just curl up here and never move again. The last one was impossible, she couldn't stay here, she needed to do something. That was what she decided as she got to her feet. If she couldn't decide on everything else right then and there, she at least knew there was one thing she had to do.
Tae had had time to rest against the door for quite a while before it was suddenly pulled open, Ellale blinking as she looked down at Tae. Not much had changed with Ellale, aside from that she now had one of her brother's shirts on. This was evident in how just how baggy it was on her. She'd made the decision suddenly, and solely because she was tired of covering herself because of the tear in her clothing. It had nothing to do with the fact that she wanted something of her brothers. None what so ever... A bad lie, but she was trying to think that way. "I'm going home." Ellale announced with surprising conviction. "I need to tell mother. I'll figure out what I'm doing after that once I get there. You can come with me if you want, Tae... but I don't know if I'll be coming back. I don't know how you feel about this place, but if you come with me, we may not return here." She wasn't being fair to Tae, really. Ellale was being almost cruel. Her, or Winhill Garden. Which would Tae choose? Ellale wasn't giving her time to figure out. She stepped past Tae, taking a deep breath as she did.
"I'm sorry. If you're coming with me, meet me at my room. I'm going to get ready. If not... thank you for being with me, Tae. I..." She shook her head, glancing back at Tae with a very sad smile, and then she was gone, disappearing down the hall in a hurry. Tae would have her chance to shout something after her, But Ellale wouldn't have stopped. Even if she asked her to. If Tae wanted to talk to her, she'd have to go to Ellale's room before she left. That was likely to be the only way to get much of a word in edgewise with her. She looked like she'd changed a bit, Ellale that is. She seemed to have resolve, where as earlier she'd seemed... well empty and hurt.

At least it felt like a while. The hallway had pretty much cleared of students. Either they had agreed to leave and were packing their things or getting ready for what was to come. She had steeled herself for what was to come preparing herself for the fact she may never see those who had become dear to her. The thought of Yin and Aethusa had run across her mind more than a few times. She wondered where they would go if they did leave. Her parents would more than welcome her to their home. As far as Tae could see and was concerned Yin was pretty much family at this point to her parents. Even her brother had pretty much accepted her. Well, in his own way he did. He treated her almost much the same as he did her. That left her dwelling on thoughts of her brother. She pushed that aside for something else. She didn’t want to think about family right now. Right now her thoughts were on Ellale. After the announcement the girl might run or she might stay and fight. Her eyes had softened as she let herself drown in her thoughts. If anyone had tried to capture her attention they had failed. That was until the door moved from behind her. Swaying slightly she glanced upward at Ellale before scrambling to her feet. Worry filtered in her gaze as she looked down at the girl. Any words that she might have stumbled on saying to Ellale were silenced upon the girl speaking up first. Words that she thought she had wanted to hear but only left her feeling cold and empty inside. As if everything around her had come to a complete stop except Ellale. Tae stared at the girl who now wore one of her brothers’ shirts. Unwanted tears sprung to her eyes as she watched Ellale walk pass her. Her breathing speeding up which only caused her chest to hurt more. Now whether it was the old pain acting up or a new one taking over she couldn’t tell you. Ellale was asking her to choose between her and Winhill. Cruel words to be sure. A choice no one should have to make and probably would have ran far away from it if they could. Tae, however, couldn’t run. The problems she thought she had now only seemed to grow more and more. Though, before she could utter a response Ellale ran off down the hallway to her room. It left Tae standing there tears streaking down her face as she blinked. Choices that tore at her heart more than she ever thought possible. Abandon the place she’d felt more at peace from the time she awoke from her “accident” or abandon the one person she couldn’t live without now. Balling up her hands she shut her eyes tight drawing in a deep breath to hold. Who could say how long she stood there like that. When she released her breath her eyes slowly opened and a whispered, ”I’m sorry…” spilled forth from her lips. With that she tore off down the hallway at a remarkable speed. Winhill… So it looked like her mind was made up. She was going to go with Ellale and leave Winhill probably forever. Though as she ran a few faces floated before her. First it was Yin with a goofy looking smile upon her face standing next to the ever so nervous Aethusa, a happy looking Sophia with Lloyd and his ridiculously everlasting smiling upon his face. She wasn’t just leaving Winhill, she was leaving those who’d also touched a place in her heart. Again her hands fisted and her thoughts cried, I’M SORRY. If she could run faster than she already was she did. By the time she reached her room her chest felt like it was on fire and her entire body shook as tears had still been falling down her face. She had expected Yin to leave not much later when she left. If she had still been there Tae didn’t spare the girl much of a look as her eyes traveled around the room to think of what she would need. Her weapons and a few pairs of clean clothes would have to do. She would have to leave behind all her charcoal and her sketch pads. Perhaps she might have time to leave them for Yin. Pushing those thoughts aside she quickly gathered her things together. Once that was done, she scribbled a note leaving it for Yin with one last parting glance she left and moved quickly if not running to Ellale's room. ღ OOC: ღ

Part of her wished Tae would come, but that was too unfair of her given she didn't know Tae's feelings on this place. Ellale had changed, Tae would have had to notice it when she opened the door. She wasn't smiling, she wasn't happy, but she was moving. With a conviction at that. She hadn't stopped to see Tae's expression as she went for a reason though. Has she, she might have wavered. If Tae was staying, Ellale couldn't hesitate. If she did, that would be it. She'd stop, and give up and just go back to what she was, broken. At least now she had something to focus on! She needed to get some things together... and leave. She had to leave before she hesitated.
Ellale wasted little time, as soon as she got in her room she closed the door and started throwing off her clothing. Even if she wasn't planning on doing much, visiting her mother in the messy state she was, wasn't going to do her any good. She cleaned her face, attempted to use a rag to clean some of the blood from her shoulder and chest, and eventually donned nicer attire. Orange top, short plaid skirt, and leggings. She sighed lightly as she grabbed more clothing and pulled it into a small bag, leaving her clothing she had taken of laying in the middle of the floor, minus Kalay's shirt. It was folded neatly in front of her as she put it into the bag. She stared at the small thing for a moment, no larger than a backpack, before closing her eyes with a sigh. So this was it. This was all she'd be taking with her. She stood slowly and gave a final look at her room.
This wasn't a place she expected to see again. Clothing left on the ground, bed made, bloody sink. This is how she was going to leave it. She only had enough clothes for a few days, planning on leaving the rest behind. In a way, she was trying to escape this place so the less she left the better. For a moment she wondered where her rifle was. She didn't really want to leave it behind, but she realized if she was trying to leave most of this world behind, it would have to be left as well. That was why she was willing to leave it. She didn't need it that much if she wasn't coming back, plus it was probably in Tae's room... and Ellale really didn't want to go there. Not after what happened in the hall. If Tae wasn't outside her door when she attempted to leave, she'd assume that was it. Ellale couldn't actually see Tae giving up everything for her. She'd seemed like such good friends with Yin... maybe she'd want to stay... with Yin.
Ellale closed her eyes tight as she stood up, shaking her head. She couldn't think about that now. If she left and Tae wasn't with her, she'd have to forget about it. taking in a final sigh, Ellale picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder and turned to her door. Would Tae be on the other side? Would she have left Ellale to go alone? Prepared for either option, Ellale approached the door and pushed it open. She had to admit, she was disappointing to not see Tae, but she'd been prepared for that. And so she turned to go, stopping only for a moment as she heard running down the hall.
'Why would you choose me?'
Ellale's expression didn't change, it was rather passive as Tae approached, but at least Ellale waited for her.

Lucky for them both they had saw her tearing down the hallway and stepped back. Terror had been a good motivation for the girl. She didn’t want to be left behind again. She didn’t want to feel that emptiness all over again. Why? Why had this one girl scrambled her emotions up like this? How had the girl done this? Everything around her except her goal seemed to blur from her sight and mind. She couldn’t think passed beyond the one thought. That was of Ellale and getting to her before she vanished from her life forever. Perhaps that was being a bit dramatic but with things that were going on right now it very well might be the last time she would see Ellale if she missed her. There! Just ahead she spotted Ellale’s room and the girl closing her door ready to leave. Her heart sank as she might have just missed her. Though, she couldn’t run any faster than she already was without her heart and limbs giving out on her. So all she could do was just push forward and hope that Ellale would wait for her and wouldn’t run away. Relief swept through her entire body when Ellale stopped and looked back at her. Her entire head spun from it. Either that or she was winded from all the bursts of speed she’d put forth already today and the lack of sleep to go with it. Slowing down a few feet from Ellale she stopped breathing heavy and catching herself on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. ”You didn’t leave… without me…” She panted pain shooting in her chest as she tried to calm her breathing. At this rate she was going to keel over. Taking one large breath and holding it as she straightened up a hand gripped at a strap that ran across her chest and heart. Slowly she released the breath that she was holding clearly ready to go and waiting for Ellale to lead the way. ღ OOC: ღ

A faint smile. It seems she had some heart left in her, judging by the small smile gracing her face. Silently, Ellale pushed open her rooms door again, putting her bag on the ground next to the door before stepping aside. "Tae. You're only wearing a towel and robe. Get changed." Ellale chided. Her voice didn't really sound up to it and the message came out kind of quiet, but she was letting Tae know that she would wait for her to change. It might have been funny, in any other situation, that Tae had forgotten to actually put some clothes on, but with Ellale's current state of mind, it wasn't so much. It was just a fact. In truth, Ellale didn't have it in her to tell Tae she was going to leave without her had she not shown up when she did. That might have been too cruel.
While Tae was given the chance to go, someone walking by took notice of Ellale standing there with her bag next to her and asked her if she was leaving and why. Ellale didn't offer much of a response aside from that she needed to see her mother. The fellow student seemed to understand and wished her luck, moving on. Ellale watched them go before sighing as she rubbed her temples. The less people she ran into on her way out the better, she was concerned. She particularly didn't want to run into anyone who had been on the mission. That would have been the worst case scenario. Actually, worst case scenario would be him. But he was probably too busy to even notice she was gone. Made sense, always running around, never stopping for a moment. He probably didn't have time to care that she wasn't making it.
Silently, Ellale reached down and picked up her bag. Tae would likely be done soon, and then they could leave...

Damn, this is irritating. The man thought as he massaged his recently dislocated arm, the sensation he was feeling from it being more then unpleasant, but less then painful. At least on his scale. Probably anyone else wouldn't manage to walk off what he experienced so easily, but then again, they weren't the living tank of Winhill. Hearing the elevator rise, he let out a breath as he thought about his, as he felt, somewhat forced resignation of his time at the Garden. Though before he could get anyways, two blondes decided they had to come to see the Headmaster. Or at least that's what he assumed.
Politely stepping out of the way, or at least politely compared to his mannerisms, he didn't give much thought to the other boys, at least not until he heard Lloyd's proclamation to the Headmaster. The way he said it seemed to be almost an exact opposite of his own approach, then again, there was no longer a door, so who knows if that part of the approach would have been different. There was always hoping it wouldn't have been though. Stepping into the elevator, he rose his hand to press the button, before he heard the Headmaster call out. "Hrm?"
He hadn't heard the Headmaster's words properly, but Yuka re-conveying his words to him, unhappily so, the man sighed before stepping out of the elevator. Rolling his affected shoulder for a moment, before letting go of his arm and marching back into the Headmaster's office. He didn't know what this was about, though. Was he to be detained due to his actions just moments prior, and these two were the convenient show ups? Or was this another matter entirely? Unable to push his paranoia away, his eyes kept all of the others clearly before him, before actually saluting towards the Headmaster. "Reporting for duty... Sir." He said, reluctantly, unsure of what to expect.
