Stumbling, the man would to a fantastic series of flips and rolls before magnificently face planting onto the floor. Once he was able to pry himself off the tile, the man would race over to the child on his knees "Yes! I saw! You fixed the backup generator! Now we just need to fix the real one!" The man declared, springing to his feet. "With the backup running we should be able to keep anything else from exploding, and we can safely turn off the power to the main generator for repairs....only..." The man began to twiddle his thumbs and pace "...we have a little problem."
"You see, as it turns out the relays to the primary generator seem to have been...destroyed. Chewed through, explodes, or improperly replaced...apparently one of the works actually mcguivered relay #9 with nothing but a paperclip, two elastic bands, a piece of dryer lint, and a cell battery" The Plant Manager explained, the pace of his...well pacing, increasing swiftly "I'd have sent workers out to fix it, but the place is crawling with electric-types that got in while the fence was down, as well as a bunch of other nasties, so none of the workers can actually get close enough..."
Stopping the man would suddenly begin poking his fingers together "So...I was wondering if....maybe...perhaps...you could go out there and replace the relays?"

Victoria's face had a look of pure horror on it. She had was being asked to go back down there again ...because these fools had her repair the back up first, and not the actually thing. Then it dissolved away so slowly to be replaced by a smile.
She smiled oh so sweetly.
This would need to be done, and she can't just act like she didn't know and return. She would only be sent back so she smiles quite beautifully ...any creature with any sense could smell the danger on her.
"So, where and how do I go about doing that?"
She asks with a beaming smile.

"Magnificent!" The Plant Manager declared, clapping his hands together before running into a nearby storage room. In the next moment he'd come out holding nine large, black, block shaped batteries the size of an orange, shoving them all onto the girl. The next moment Victoria would find herself being dragged off to the nearest window.
"It's just out the door and to the left" He said, pointing out the window "See that large ominous building with all the electricity? That's the Generator. I need you to go to the relay towers leading up to and around it...they're those huge black things which look a little like giant lightning rods" The man stated, pointing to the nearest one. "Normally it's a pretty simple task, but with all the wild pokemon and extra electricity bouncing around it's gotten a bit...hazardous for a normal person..." The Plant Manager began sceptically, but soon enough a broad smile would spread across his face as he slapped Victoria on the back "But I'm certain an Academy Student can handle it!"

"And what do I do once I get there ...."
She declares looking at the boxes in her hands. No, she wanted all the information she could get out of him, because, she was going to make him pay for this ....every little moment. As she places the boxes into her bag ...as she comes to a stop in front of the building and she turns and waits for his answer.
One hand slipping towards Aella's pokeball. She was going to make him regret this ...moment every second of it.

"Just open the maintenance panel and swap out the battery. Easy as pie!...well maybe instant pudding would be easier..." The Plant Manager explained, looking a little sidetracked after that pudding comment. Afterwards he slowly began to wander away, muttering faintly about what would be even easier then instant pudding.

Yes it was childish and unnecessary, but she couldn't help herself. She had suffered thanks to that guy and she wasn't willing to let him simply walk away from it ....as she wouldn't wait for the results. Instead, she headed outside, before there could be trouble.
This was going to be quite interesting.

((Huh? I thought she had to go inside of the building/generator to get to the top to insert the batteries. I figured they were already outside ...since he pushed her in the direction, but if I am wrong I shall change it to outside now.
Scratch that ...misread ...outside then.))

((We both seem to be doing that often enough this week.))
It was certainly a good thing that Victoria left, for because of it she would never see the Plant Manager wobble to one side, causing the Air Slash to miss him by mere millimetres.
Instead Victoria would be faced with a very peculiar sight indeed. Hunched over and wearing a backpack piled high with an immense amount of items and other merchandise, was a man no more then thirty years old. Dressed in obviously foreign garb, the man looked very confused. This seemed to be one very VERY lost merchant.

Lost sometimes happen, but Victoria took it for a good sign as she walks over to him. Her bloodlust for a moment was abated by the small thing she had done ...as she looks at him.
"Do you get a lot of sells here?"
The girl would asks as she looks over at him. Her hands on her hips, as she looks at him and smile. This could work to her advantage quite a bit as she waits for his answer.
His garb was strange, but right now ...she was eye him like a pidgey looking a worm pokemon. She could make quite a bit of use of him if only he was a reasonable man, otherwise, well ...there was one of him and she had three full healed pokemon on her afterall.
She wasn't above resulting to such tactics.

"A true merchant can sell anything anywhere! Sell sand in the desert, water while at sea!" The man declared loudly, striking a dynamic pose...before promptly wobbling out of it due to the weight of his backpack. "Tell me little girl...this...this isn't the road to Vermillion City is it?" He asked a bit sheepishly. It would seem that lost was quickly becoming something of an understatement.

"Vermillion City?" "You aren't even close, but since you are here ....let me ask ...what kind of things are you selling." "I don't have money on me, but items to sell and I would love to sell some of those items and then buy a few things that I might actually need."
She declares to him as she waits for his answer.

"Inconceivable! I know these roads like the back of my hand!" The Merchant declared, lifting up his own hand to inspect it to make his point "....well that's new" He muttered, touching to fingers to his lip as he tilted his head to one side. After a moment the man would shake it off and turn to properly face the girl "Lets see what you're interested in selling first dear girl. No point in showing you anything if you can't buy it first! Nor anything you can't possibly afford for that matter..." The man said, eyes darting about a bit suspiciously for an instant.

The girl nods her head once as she pulled out three items she was interested in selling. The first item was a soul shard, the second item she brought out to sell was the fire gem, and finally ...calling out Aella so she could get to this one ...she took the Tinymushroom from her as she would hold them out to the merchant.
Those three items, of the group only one she knew could become useful for later. The other two ...were items she would sell without any kind of resentment if he was willing to buy them ....as she waited for his inspection of the items to begin and end, and he tell her how much it would cost.
As Aella looked a bit disappointed. She had gotten use to having that mushroom plaster against her tail, but considering how much she showed Victoria her back ...of course the girl had discovered the item there.
"So how much for all three?"

"Two" The man almost immediately corrected her, shivering quite noticeably "That..." He indicated the Soul Shard with one finger "...is an object of pure evil, and I won't have it near me for any longer then this transaction takes" The man said, true fear appearing in his eyes the longer he starred at the object. It was hard to tell if the man was just being superstitious, or justifiably horrified by the mere presence of the thing.
"I'll give you 450 for the lot of it" The man stated initially, but after a moment he began to fidget "Maybe 550. I know someone who might be more interested in that mushroom then most people." After a moment of standing in silence he would nod his head firmly as if to confirm it "Yup. 550 and that's my final offer."
