As if to answer an unasked question, a fist sized long streak whizzed by the front of Arell's face, missing him by inches. Arell, Dundee and Kai would notice the distinct smell of sulfuric oxide, as the projectile exploded against a wall fifty feet from them. When they glace in the direction of the projectile's origin, they will see a Black Talon cursing at himself for missing with an RPG. The rest of the keeper squad of twelve starts rounding the corner firing with energy weapons...

Kai jumped and dodged the energy weapons, if they were electrical her suit could deflect the damaging beams of the weapons. But not the pain, her body becoming numb from the crystal that was stuck behind one of the cuffs. She went to do a jump and catapult off her hands to flip past a building, an ordinary hand spring that she should normally be able to do. Underestimating her weakening state she attempted the maneuver only when her hands hit the ground to spring past the flurry of fires in that particular direction she collapsed and tumbled to the ground holding her wrist. Kai got back up to her feet and reached another building corner to cover from fire looking back to Arell and Dundee after getting nicked by many of the fires which tore her costume a little.

. . . and when they started firing with energy weapons, Arell gritted his teeth, dodging the variety of shots (throwing Dundee in the process) before drawing his guns. Twelve shots, twelve guys. The rest he could deal with the shotgun . . . but he knew he couldn't afford to change. If Kai was paying attention to that in the process, she could hopefully sense the gator's presence trying to burst out, or how he was inhumanly holding the revolvers a lot steadier.
"Git on outta heah! I'mma gon' shoot dem up some'in goooood!" he growled, a twisted smirk on his face and the thickness of Arell's accent would really make a person wonder just who or WHAT was in control!
When Dundee got thrown he landed in the other room . . . a weapons stockpile! Tossing out what looked like a few grenades to Kai and coming out with an equal blaster to hold 'em off, he smirked. "Kai, I'll cover you. Run for it!" Dun growled. Clearly he was fighting for something, but for what?

Kai ran away from the bullets grabbing Dundee's sleeve.
"No, you are coming this way."
She almost dragged Dundee with her good arm. With her other arm Kai threw down a smoke bomb to hide them from the soldiers for a good 50 feet. Her foot steps were not nearly as quiet as they would usually be in a situation like this. All that mattered was escape, and she mustered every ounce of strength trying to keep herself together so that Dundee and Arell wouldn't have to help fight for her. If they stayed and fought, she was sure they would be worn down, till their recapture. So escape ASAP was the best solution.

Several Black Talons fell back from the gunfire. One of them threw a grenade... past Arell into the weapons stockpile where Dundee and Kai just were...
...................
Rachel nodded her agreement with Nat, and just after that Helga walked back into the room and spoke with a calm voice, "Kome on you two, hit ze showers und go back to your rooms... You really shouldn't fight amongzt yourselves..."
Both Rachel and Nat might note that Helga seemed... distracted and worried about something. What that might be, who knows.

Arell fired a few shots and immediately booked it, following the signs toward the hangar, cussing a blue streak as he got up towards Kai and Dundee, pushing them out of the way of danger as the grenade went off. Fortunately, that little smoke bomb Kai set off made it appear there was more damage before squeezing off another shot.
"Kai's right, Dun'. We gotta go . . . NOW!!" he growled. Especially when he noticed that the grenade HAD done some damage . . . a natural gas pipe had been damaged. The air smelled of Rotten eggs. They had to get out FAST before they were served well-done!
In the course of the confusion, Bobby slowly came to in one of the cells. What the hell happened?!? he thought as he slowly got his senses together. Then he smirked. He had remembered the last thing he could before he went down . . . he got laid. Not just by anyone, but that hot girl he shared a ride with! Better than pot!

[ "Yes ma'am." Nathalia replied, rising to exit. She gave Helga a respectful nod, keeping with her usual demeanor, and headed to the showers. The whole while she wondered what had the woman so uptight. She seemed worried.
The heat of the showers had Nat feeling tired. It had been way to long of a first day. Hopefully she could just crash after this without any nutso red lights going off at three in the morning.

Kai tossed another smoke bomb behind them to stop the others from finding them. She refrained from speaking so as not to give away their direction. Once they reached the hanger she quickly picked a side door unlocking and opening it quietly. Inside there were vehicles already started up.
"They're leaving, let's get on, quick no sounds."
She almost whispered, just enough so that the guys would hear her voice.

Arell nodded, grabbing Dundee. "You first, pipsqueak." he growled low and helping him aboard.
Dundee nodded, with the extra boost from Arell, got into the truck alongside Kai. Then, the big locomotive of a man that was Arell got himself aboard. From there, he reached in his vest pocket and pulled out a cylindrical tube, screwing it onto one of his revolvers.
It's gonna be a baaaaaaaad day if I gotta use this again! he thought. Then again, by the looks at Arell, it was gonna be a bad day for ANYONE who crossed his path, good or bad.

"What is that..."
Kai whispered looking to Dundee in the back of the hauling truck. She rested her wrist on her leg before looking around. There were boxes in the truck, if she could just phase them into those boxes that were locked shut, they wouldn't dare check in the boxes for them. And so long as there was room in the boxes themselves. She fidgeted with her wrist trying to pull the crystal out. Just touching it with her hands would cause her hands to hurt as well. And somehow, the crystal seemed to be shoved in there, and lodged tightly in her skin between the restraint and her wrist bones. It was stuck, a definite need for some small tools. It was as though her mother pushed it in there with a small tool to get it so impossible to remove. She sighed and then flinched when she heard heavy footsteps of boots outside the truck. "Oh no... this is not ending well." She thought to herself.

Dundee looked over at Kai. "It's a Silencer. Quiets his gunshots . . . looks like he's gonna play hardball!" he whispered back. Then looked at Kai's wrist. "Are you okay, hon?" he asked as he looked around. It looked like she was going at her hand for something. Maybe if he could bust the cuffs loose, she'd be okay.
Arell, on the other hand, got near the wall of the truck, as silent as possible. Slowly pulling the hammer back on the silenced pistol, he looked at the two people in the truck, mouthing what could be "look away" as he waited. If the owner of those boots got within his sights, someone was gonna start having a real bad day really fast.

Amber looked to the girl questioningly and then tapped a finger to her lip as she thought.
"Oh yeah... he's great. We had the best time in Vegas... To bad we both got grounded for it."
Roxy dropped her bag as soon as she entered the room and went to Cailtlyn putting her hand on her head lightly.
"Are you okay? I just came to make sure you were safe Cait."
Roxy really wanted to just spend time with her friends rather then be cooped up in her room. Although she didn't want them to know how much she needed them, her street habits made her want to try and seem tougher then she might actually be.
"Another friend? This is going to be fun."
Amber looked to the other girl unknowing that the girl had been hurt at all.
Rainmaker still sat rather closely to Caitlin and glanced to Amber. This girl, she somehow reminded her of the annoying kind of girls she would beat up in high school for their ignorance and sheer bliss.
"She's fine, she just needs to heal a bit. And... this place isn't /fun/."
"Oh? who are you to say? I'm perfectly content."
She crossed her legs and put her hands in her lap. Amber obviously didn't share the same experiences as Rainmaker, and she knew it. Amber was quite aware the treatment the others may recieve here but so long as she had fun it didn't really matter.
"Instead of talking about this place how bout we talk of what we will do when my parents send us out to do stuff for IO. Like field trips. Field trips are fun."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"If you shoot and someone drops we are in for it. Arell."
She looked to Dundee and held at her wrist pulling it back as though to hide it from him.
"It's nothing. I will need to remove that crystal before the cuffs, that's all."
How horrible it would be if they were recaptured, the crystal would never be removed and there was no knowing how much damage it could do to her arm without it's removal. Kai had a gut feeling that they would be captured again soon if the vehicles didn't start to move. One word, one sign that she could hear from outside the truck that would signal their location and discovery would only confirm her guts feeling. And then her heart would sink at the thought of having to deal with her parents, especially after what happened to Kane.
Arell growled. "Don't care if it's one or a hunnerd, che'. Dey ******** wit' my family, dey gon' face truth, justice an' lead!" he whispered harshly. If they caught on at a glance, on the pistol that was already out, one could see "Truth" inscribed on the barrel. May the god of their choice help 'em if he has to take "Justice" out, too! He sneered as he waited.
Dundee looked at him and then back at Kai. Of course, she pulled it back, right on HIS hand. He didn't notice it at the time, but if he did, he'd be stoplight red.
As fate would have it, the truck's engine starts up and the new occupants inside hear one of the guards, "The lock checks out on this one. You're good to go, Charlie." Within a couple of seconds, Kai, Dundee and Arell could feel the truck begin to move....
................
Quietly, Rachel took her shower beside Nathalia, occasionally exchanging a meaningful glance toward where Helga left them. From that direction, the pair of girls could hear a pair of the I.O. guard speaking, but couldn't understand what they were saying.
................
Caitlin smiled at the street smart goth, "Hey Roxy. Good to see you too. Oh, this is Amber and Sarah." Then after a brief exchange of statements, something that Amber said got her attention, "Fun... After I can get the stitches out of my head.... Hey Amber, ummmm... what do you mean about field trips?"
The mousy redhead was beginning to have a sinking feeling about what Amber was meaning.
Arell smirked and lowered his gun the moment he heard "Thanks, Butch. See ya later!" come from the cab of the truck. Thank god. REALLY didn't want to have to use this! he thought. This was going to be one HELL of a ride though, so he kept the gun out, just in case.
