Shijura chuckled and smiled. "Just take of her." She said looking up at him. "And take care of yourself out there. The villagers don't seem to be too fond of you."

Chi calmed down after a few and sighed, closing the file and looking back up at the Sixth. "What's missing?..."

The Hokage looked at Chi for a moment, before setting his ramen on the counter. "The reasoning for the mission was never truly stated."

Vale looked over at Shijura slightly his eyes closed halfway. "...You don't like me do you?"

"Could of. But didn't. Thanks to Chi." he replied closing his eyes.

Chi ran a hand through her hair, a soft sigh being the only sound that escaped her lips other than silence for a good five minutes. "This may help in stopping Taka and the attacks on Kohona, but at the same time, it might not be enough to them... Konohagakure has betrayed the Uchihas.... I know that I would be mad if I was an Uchiha and I didn't even get to know why Itachi was ordered to slaughter my clan, I would still want revenge..." She paused again, lowering her gaze once more to stare at the cover of the files. A small weak laugh slipped out. "I'm not an Uchiha... and yet I still want to know why..."

"Thanks to Chi, the village wasn't destroyed as much. Thanks to Chi, you gave in..." a voice perked in, rather accusing tone. Yumiko was standing by the window in Vale's hospital room, her ANBU scarf around her neck but not covering her face at the current moment. Her canine-like eyes were narrowed at Vale. "Do you like Chi? Because I know that I don't like you, especially after your little trip sneaking out of the village..."

Yumiko hissed at the Uchiha, but refused to move any closer for the shear fact that she may be tempted to hit him. "Whatever, Uchiha... I don't trust you, and I'm not going any time soon. I'll be keeping my eyes on you while you're still in custody here..."

Chi tilted her head at the Sixth before nodding, standing up as well. She held out the files to give back to the Hokage. "H-hai, Hokage-sama."

Chi watched the Hokage leave before hurrying back towards the hospital. She had her answers, or at least some of them now.

"Oh, don't worry about that. I can find you quite easily," Yumiko said rather simply now, calming down a bit. She kept her arms crossed over her chest before glancing around the room, then turned towards the window and now remained silent verbally anyways. In her thoughts, she was conversing with her Tailed Beast. 'So Juunibi... What'cha think about him?...' 'He's alright. Seems like a pain to me though... 'Same here... Let's just watch over him for now like we would normally with a powerful shinobi in custody. What worries me is if Chi-'

Just then Chi burst in through the door. She hesitated for just a moment when she saw Yumiko by the window, but surprisingly Chi actually gritted her teeth at the ANBU. She had enough people bothering Vale already, and even though Yumiko was a friend, Chi wasn't going to deal with her pestering Vale either. For now, she just hurried over to Vale's bedside and sat down in the chair she had pulled up earlier. "Vale. It's true. We've found confirmation that the Leaf Village Council did in fact order Itachi to kill off the rest of the Uchihas..." Chi blurted out, then paused as she ran a hand through her hair to calm down. "The... only thing that's missing is exactly why he was ordered to annihilate the clan..."

Yumiko stiffened slightly, hearing the news, but remained silent. She still didn't trust Vale...

Chi sighed but could only shrug. "We're still looking, so there's still a chance we might find out why. But until then, the good news is that you were right. Hopefully now this situation can be handled properly since we have proof..." She sat quietly for a little while, then smiled and rested her hand on his.

Yumiko watched the two of them before letting out a huff and exiting the room through the window. Chi didn't even look up to see Yumiko leave.
