Xander nodded at the boil and leaned away from him as Yin got up to his feet.
"Alexander!" He half shouted half replied before the boil took off and went back on the offensive against the ones in the red cloaks.
Xander wondered what to do next. There were others being trapped in nets but they were some distance off, and frankly, he was a little frightened of moving and making himself a target at this point, if he wasn't one already.

He frowned at Kat. “Unfortunately, it’s not exactly my favorite theme.” Just as he fired his gun he felt the other trainee place a hand on his arm. Obediently, he followed her gaze and widened his eyes at the hunchback. He grinned at Kat’s tone, filled with childish excitement. “Woah. That is pretty cool, except I don’t think you got it.” Wilson scratched his head. “Maybe Caelius should’ve let us practice with these things beforehand.”
Wilson smirked at Ryan. “Maybe you’ll have better luck next time.” Was it him, or did Ryan have unfortunate luck? First the Sahara mission, the female golem, and now this. Pfttt.

Aleister was still sort of running around trying not to get stepped on, at some point he accidentally fired his trapping gun and stood there staring as it.... he'd fired at a zombie..? <I did it??><Good job, you just wasted another net.>Puca didn't seem enthused by this. Christof gave a whine, fumbling as he debated what to do. People were crumpling in tents all around him, and there was a field of chaos between him and where Mistress had run off to... What to do, Hell's Bells, what to do... He was just turning to give Mort his knife for safe keeping when the net took him by surprise, his already uneven bulky form thrown off of his feet as he landed with a muffled oof onto his stomach. No... NO NO NO NO! With a wail in his throat, he squirmed, trying desperately to disentangle himself.  HP: 40

(( OKAY since Herryk is still captured, Xiu should also still be captured XD Hopefully it's okay if I just pretend she got caught again (since her last freeing post is automatically nulled anyways!) O__O ))
And Xiu was stuck in a net yet again, which was...not at all reassuring. With most of the students heading off after Caelius, the baku couldn't help but wonder what that meant for those who were still here. Minerva quickly went from sulking to scurrying about as hastily as the initial attack; eyes bugging all the while.
This was not at all what she was expecting! So what if the trainee assumed some sort of fight would be on their hands at SOME POINT- The wave of mutants rolling over hills and colliding with their motley crew of make-shift monsters was happening too fast. Without any sort of warning at all. These surprises Caelius' continued to drop on them were exhausting the woman and doing absolutely nothing for her need to be orderly and prepped.
The warning came just as the Igor-Minnie ducked away from an oncoming attack. Eyes dropped immediately to the runic with wide-eyed bewilderment, having forgotten it was in her grasp all this time. Really?!
Their intertwined thoughts were silenced by the rumble of Caelius' voice, echoing over the chaos that he had brought onto them. Aim, Minerva repeated, flicking her gaze out to the mass of attackers and the attacked. Who were the enemies again? In the graying tones of this world, where differentiating colors and faces was all too tiring- The death trainee watched for a long while before shifting her gun around to a more comfortable position.
Igor- GET HIM MINNIE!>
Blythe's roar hyped the trainee significantly, shifting away from another near-squashing incident to aim down her sights and fire the gun at the Igor boy.
Upon closer inspection, Minnie might have noticed the undead was already wrapped up in a net from a previous success. This was not at all reassuring, as her shot A) missed and B) was wasted.

"Thanks Willow." She was thankful that the ghoul decided to stick by her instead of go off after the cloakie, but she wouldn't have been upset if she had. Right now, Mei wanted to focus on getting the rest of her classmates out of these damn nets. She was even doing pretty well for dodging them--or she was, up until she overlooked another cloakie shoot a net at her. Falling with an 'ouf', Mei struggled to sit upright, only getting herself more tangled in the bloody thing. "Aw s**t..!" Snarling, she looked about for whoever it was who shot at her. She was going to tear their limbs off. "WHAT IS WITH YOU AND TRAPS?!!" Vaith asked almost angrily as Xiu as he came out of nowhere, struggling to pull the trap away with little success. Everytime he looked back, Xiu was caught one way or another---

"Yeah sure." He shrugged at Wilson. Luck, right. Until then he was blaming the guns, even though he already knew it was his shitty aiming.
Continuing to cling to Dakota's head, Ryan felt a sudden faint pain hit him from behinf. It was small, but it was enough to put his attention on the tiger like ghost girl.

Tybalt felt another net whoosh past him. Man, these hunters either had really bad aim, or he was faster than he gave himself credit for. Naturally he liked to think it was both.
"I think you guys ought to quit your day job. You're not very good at it..." He mocked, as he prowled around them.
Unfortunately, as much as he'd like to think otherwise, their aim was good enough to bag a good majority of the students. How much longer were they going to have to keep this up?

Was that a ghost? Looked like it. Some kind of dog ghost at that. Freaky. A ghost was a ghost, and he imagined Cass would like them disabled. Perhaps permanently. Taking aim, he smirked. At first it looked like they were going to get creamed, but once Caelius led, or rather lured so away, things seemed to go much smoother. Maybe Cass would like dog she got for her. Xiu flinched in shock, her ears drooping at what sounded like a reprimand from the noise reaper who had suddenly shown up. "I...I'm sorry, I didn't..." She trailed off, giving a little shake of her head. She really was getting caught a lot, and just as Vaith was getting frustrated, so was she. She didn't do all that training to get stuck in nets all day!
Her gaze flickered over towards the cloaked figures and she lowered her voice. "You should get out of here, Vaith. Maybe...maybe go help the horsemen? If you stay here, you might get trapped as well." And Jack knew that she would feel horrible if he had been captured for trying to help her. "I don't think they're noticed you yet, so..."
She poked her fingers out from between the netting, trying to give the reaper a gentle push away.

Victory was short lived as a third net came flying at the black dog, this time knocking him to the ground before he could move out of the way.
"Cage!?" He snapped offended by Marcus' words. "I'm not going in any cage! Not again!" He growled and kicked at the net with little success. Like hell he was going to let these fleshy creatures kill him off! Not if he had anything to do about it!
His anger was further fueled when Cass shouted at him, causing his ears to fold back as he gave her a look of pure annoyance.
"My aim was just fine! What about you? Didn't see you catch anyone at all." He mocked and stuck his tongue out her, before he continued to fight with the net. Really though, he swore he recognized that voice--but where?

Vaith thought about it for a moment, if he left Xiu behind or Tybalt. He heard Tybalt's voice somewhere-- Had he heard Mei's too? He answered her in a weak voice, hands gripping the net, refusing to be pushed away by Xiu's gentle prodding.
"You see, I'm a really bad coward." He confessed with a heartbreaking note, tugging at the net in futile effort. He should have attacked one of the red cloaked ones-- but could he? Not without being overwhelmed, so many of them were captured. His tone was shaky, as if the stress of the situation was too much, causing the reaper to partially lose his cool.
"If you, Tybalt and Mei get captured and turn to weapons .. I dont think I would have the resolve to fight you. If I go after Caelius now, who's insanely strong and gonna kick down my a** anyways, what if you guys are gone by the time I come back? How much worse do you think I'll feel then, Xiu?" He asked her, in a whisper, the implication hanging heavily in the air. Getting caught .. Was that any better of an option than coming back to them, possibly having disappeared forever?
It was hard to believe he was making this choice. It wouldn't have been any different if it was Mai, Aurian Ren or someone else he knew in that net. Perhaps, if he simply stayed low, he could get around to freeing others.Quote: Total HP value: 40/40
