Natasha lifted her head, hearing Eric before he started speaking. She saw him struggling with the cat and covered her mouth to hide her smile. "What are you trying to do?" she asked, watching him get closer.

" I wanna try and find its owner...though i cant realy read the little metal thing on its neck... and it will not sit still for me-OWCH" he jumped as the cat clamped onto his hand and wouldnt let go. " ow-ow... IM TRYING TO HELP YOU!" he shouted at it. " Please help.. before this cat bites my hand off...."

Natasha stood up and made her way over to Eric. "Here... just... keep it occupied..." While the kitten continued to bite Eric, Natasha reached for its collar and read the name and address on the license. "It actually just lives down the street," she told Eric as she took the kitten from him. It was just as upset with her as it was with him, but Natasha managed to keep hold of its paws to keep it from scratching. "You... want to go with me...?"

"Sure." Eric replyed with a smile. "I like cats but for some reason they don't like me." He chuckled.

Natasha shrugged and started walking around to the front of her house. Her backyard was fenced off on either side so she could not just cross through her neighbors' yards. "Maybe it's because you're a werewolf? I mean, most cats I know don't get along with dogs. They pretty much have to be raised together in order to be okay... It would explain why it isn't cooperating with me, either."

"Well... cats can be pretty antisocial," Natasha said, smirking as she tried to calm the cat down. Eventually, it stopped struggling, but it still eyed her and Eric angrily.

Eric looked at the cat with a frown. "Jeeze the way its glareing you would think we were trying to give it a bath...."

Natasha giggled and scratched the cat behind its ears, calming it down even more. It soon stopped glaring and closed its eyes. Natasha was surprised when it actually started to purr. "All we needed was a little patience," she said softly. She smiled and kissed the cat on top of its head before checking to see which house they were in front of. "Just a couple more houses," she told Eric.

Eric smiled abit when the cat started purring. "Such a strange sound... no idea how they make that sound though.... magic?"

Natasha laughed at Eric's suggestion. "No, silly," she said, turning to him with a smile. "I'm not 100% sure how they make the noise... but I know it isn't magic."

" But if you not 100% shure then theres a small percent chance that it is magic." Eric smiled " I mean, were werewolfs, so there has to be such thing as magic... even alittle.... a tiny bit....?"

Natasha rolled her eyes and smirked. "I suppose it is possible... but I'm sure I can do some research online to tell you what exactly causes the purring noise cats make." She turned to Eric and paused when she saw they were standing in front of the cat's home. "This is it..." Natasha walked past Eric and up to the front porch. She then rang the doorbell and waited for a response.

Eric looked at the door bell. "Whoa! That little button makes such a loud noise?!" He poked the button like she did and smiled. "That's so cool!"

Natasha winced when Eric rang the doorbell again. "Yes, it does, but you shouldn't ring it too many times. The people inside might get annoyed if they think we're being impatient..." She could hear footsteps approach the door before the porch lights came on. When the door opened, Natasha was surprised to see her science teacher. "Natasha?" the man asked. "What are you doing here?" "Hello, Mr. Charles. Umm... my friend Eric and I found your cat." She held the kitten up for him to see and he chuckled. "She got out again?" he asked, taking the kitten from her. "Thank you both very much. My wife will be pleased to know she's safe."
