"Key card," Barth repeated, muttering. He rolled his head over to see if anything like that was nearby. Not from this vantage point. ...He was very tired.
He processed the question, and answered them with his eyes closed.
"...Herryk, Christof, and Roch came back to the room. After you... I didn't see what happened to you. Herryk- was attacked. I don't know where he is. Back in- he hesitated, lowering his voice- the front yard, hopefully." To Julian he said, "It's why we're not dead. ...Why are any of you here? After you saw there were hoods, you all should have headed back to Halloween."

Tybalt glared at Ren. He disliked being told what to do, but he despised being told by Ren. Why should he be quiet? He wasn't going to be the obedient dog. Nor was he going to give these fake reapers the benefit of seeing him scared! It wasn't like he was giving out any important information anyways!
His glaring was soon interrupted when Barth spoke, revealing to them all something he would much rather not have known.
"Turn us into weapons...? How is that even possible?" He suddenly felt very sick. Of all the reasons to be caught... he would never had dreamed of something like that.
"Wait a minute. Before? You guys were here before now?" He asked, moving a little closer to get a better look at them all.
Of the other students, he recognized Barth from the last field trip and would have greeted the Sloth demon. But right now? He didn't really feel up to greeting anyone. Especially after that last bit of news.

Freya's grin was wide, ferocious, and clearly insane.
"I distracted them by beings a better target for killings, than Calder was. So they killed me instead. Calder is stronger, better for savings yeh than I was." Her grin faltered slightly - clearly still not strong enough.
The idea of going back to Halloweentown was laughable to Freya. So laughable, in fact, that the barking laugh she let out set her coughing up blood. And then, once she saw the sight of red, she set off in another round of laughter.
The new, unknown voice had Freya's eyes rolling carelessly over to Tybalt, and she purred. "I was here to saves my friend Lattice. We brokes in earlier. I'm sure someone will do it agains."
And that someone, she hoped deep down, was Herryk.

"Heh... Heh-heh..." Julian's teeth chattered as he started to laugh. Why were they still here? Damn good question, if he could say so himself. But then, he already knew the answer to that. And that was what was so. Damn. Funny. The demon closed his eyes and dipped his head, laughing softly as he shook. After a short moment, he looked up again, eyes narrowed.
"We're still here because the administration obviously doesn't give a flying f-f-f-" He didn't finish what he was screeching, the terror finally setting in as he closed his eyes again and sat there shaking. Why?! Why did they do these things to them? They were just kids! Turning a music contest into a free-for-all, sending them into a snow-covered deathzone filled with perverted trees and psychotic midgets, and Jack-knows-what happened on that island, no one wanted to talk about it with him. This was supposed to be school! He'd been sent there to hone his abilities and learn to be a demon fit for society, not thrown into what could really be called a war-zone without even a clue as to what was going on. Why hadn't he been told? Was this what his brothers had gone through? Was that why Bran was so quiet? These... These things wanted. To. KILL. them! Where was Red? The other teachers?
Under his breath, Julian started to mumble a small hope. All he wanted was to get home. He wanted to hug his mum and never let go.

Calder fell down with the group hunters outside of the cages. It was lucky for them the couch hadn't crushed their bodies coming down, but one had to wonder if it was still vicious and out to bite others. As it was, Calder laid on the ground a moment to gain his bearings before pushing himself up to sit. Holding his head, he looked about and was not introduced to the group room his friends were at or some strange room with mirrors. In fact, they weren't even inside anymore, and surrounded by lots and lots of humans. That, and cages.
Calder's ears went back. Well, he had wanted to find where his friends were at, and it seemed the hunters had did just that and took him to where he wanted to go.

[[ Entering from TRAP ]]
Bix couldn't be sure exactly what happened but it had been dark and moist for a moment and then he was standing back in the tent. There weren't many people around but the cages seemed to be much more full than the last time he was here.
The orange couch seemed to have also been spit out and landed noisily in the corner. He wasn't sure if it was still alive but he kept his weapon trained on the Kelpie. The amusement of the previous conversation had been lost once he'd been eaten alive.

"...what, pray tell, is going on over there?" The voice of Dr. H murmured absently from behind a large metal cylinder, a switch sounded, and a portion of it opened, revealing a vibrant, pulsing blue light. "Well, despite the teen angst and hormones corrupting my air, I have managed to get the generator fully online again." A hooded figure stood up and stepped into view, "You may all admire me, but please don't be struck dumb...-er in awe until after the mission. Oh new specimens? Lovely, lovely..." He paused and stared at the creature now wearing a pendant, then glanced at the cages, a shadowed smile forming, "Humm...got a bit proactive I see. A little bit cunning? Slightly sneaky? Marvelous, you all did a passable job, now cage that, and we'll see about trying another conversion is that a couch?"

The pendant in question was disabled. Calder had only worn it to get here, and to keep anyone else from wearing it and getting hurt. When another human popped up from something that looked as if it would have been hidden in Barth's closet, Calder leaned back. He didn't look like a pleasant fellow, but then again, all humans looked like walking steaks to him anyways. Healthy, clearly, and very much drownable. What he wouldn't give for a lake or pond right now.
"I'm not a that." He huffed, and rose to his feet. The weapon was still on him, but he would NOT be caged. Where was he? Where was he? He also didn't see any keys. There were none danging from any humans and he didn't see a big key ring on this fellow. What did he care? He was a monster! He'd just BREAK them apart!
Just be quick!
He hoped the swiftness of his kind was on his side, and standing, he darted to the cages. He would free someone if it killed him and hopefully they could join forces and free the rest before attacking them all. Yes. It was a great plan made in only a few rash seconds.
He never professed to be a mastermind after all.

The doctor just looked on, much more pleased with this one's reactions than the pathetic demon earlier...oh and there it was too. All gain and no loss? The day was looking up.

The hoods from before, the couch, and Calder appeared in the confines of the previously-wrecked tent. Barth almost spoke, but the reappearance of the man with the whip made him want to sink into the floor.
Don't call attention to yourself, he pleaded mentally to Calder.
The doctor looked directly at Barth, and he felt his insides turn cold.

Calder drew up to the first cage directly in his path and as he drew near, spotted the flash of pretty bloomers and blonde hair. "Freya!" He gasped, racing up to the cage. His hands went straight to grip the bars, and just as he did. A BBZZT sounded like a firefly hitting a bug light and he jerked, feeling energy coursing through him. With a kick, he was thrown back and on the ground.
Groaning, he curled in, wondering what the hell just happened.

Bix raised his head away from the kelpie when Dr. H entered the room.
"We got you more.." specimens? He shrugged but the doctor had already acknoledged that. Passable? It was better than what Caelius had called them earlier.
While he was talking the kelpie apparently decided to get brave and toss himself towards one of the cages. "No you don't!" It didn't matter though. The cages, while full, seemed to be electrified so he'd find himself with a nasty shock.
It was enough of a shock that Bix was easily able to grab their little 'hero' roughly by the wrist from his fetal position on the ground. He dragged the kelpie to an empty cage and led him inside. He didn't want to drag him if he didn't have to and there was really no reason to be rough when he'd just been electrocuted.
Once inside, the albino hunter closed the door which seemed to click-lock and electrify itself.
"He's a kelpie." He tapped his head, indicating to the doctor that his weapon had told him.

Although Jove had settled down after the little hooded guy with the giant axe left, the fear itself hadn't left him. And it just seemed to sink even deeper into his ghostly bones as he listened to the discussion, ears back, tail curling around his ankles as he sat slouched in his cage. He couldn't even turn to his natural form and slip out... What good was having a tiny natural form if he couldn't even switch into it when he finally saw an opportunity to make it useful?
The pup cowered once again as more humans entered, baring his teeth uselessly in their direction. It seemed like they were destined to be turned into weapons after all... He doubted he'd make little more than a dull-bladed dagger. Or penknife.
His ears perked as a loud thud reached him, and his heart leaped up into his throat when he saw Calder had appeared, outside the cages! But he wasn't the only one who noticed, it seemed like the humans had figured it out as well. That was not good...
With wide, glowing eyes he looked around frantically, trying to see if that pale ghost from earlier was around to lend a hand.

"Hmmm...yes, water on the brain, of course." The hooded man began to pace, peering into the cages on by one. "Now, which one to use for recalibration..."

Since his mind was pretty much still buzzing and coping with being electricuted, he was dragged and lead up to the cage where he was shoved in. Stumbling, Calder fell to the ground and laid there a moment, curling in and trying to ride out the pain that was running through his system and making all his limbs tense. His hands curled to his chest and gripped the sweater, and his hooves hitched up as he tried to make himself smaller in hopes that he would feel better.
His heart was racing and he was breathing hard, but he managed to peel his eyes open and glare at the hunter. "The name's....Calder, meat-bag." At least they got kelpie right, but while they were at it, why not let them KNOW who he was.
