Jake walked into the Mirage Arena with his two friendly Pokemon, Rufflet and Purrloin, following behind him. They had gotten to the arena without any trouble, thanks to the help of their eyes spotting the building. If it wasn't for them, Jake knew he would have probably wandered around campus for a bit before he actually found the place. He turned to his two Pokemon, the 3 of them already knew what to expect from the Cherubi that still laid inside its ball, but he wanted to remind them they needed to survive the arena to grow stronger. "I'm counting on you two to be able to work together on this one if you want to get stronger. No-" Before he could get another word out, the Cherubi known as Forte popped out of it's pokeball, materializing in front of the 3. The only thing the cherry-like Pokemon had heard was the word stronger, which was all the motivation it needed to get a first go at this. The only real problem was that it most likely had to work with one or the other.
Jake flashed a smile at the cherry, who greeted him with the usual huff. With his Cherubi out of its ball on it's own accord, the termination of it's brooding attitude would definitely commence. He snickered a bit at the image of the cherry's final conflict resolution, gaining attention from his mons, which he immediately brushed off with a cough. "Anyway, the point is. I don't want you guy's losing in here no matter what. Hopefully we can get you guy's to level up with as little damage as possible." He motioned for the 3 to follow him, even though he had no idea where he was going, his three(Well 2) Pokemon conversing behind him.
The pair, Crystal and Jay were both happy for two completely different reasons. The sly Purrloin was happy to know the cherry was most likely going to refuse to work with them, and when it get's beaten will knock it's ego down a few sizes. While the hasty Rufflet was merely excited about the upcoming battles strengthening their team even more, not only in level, but bonding as well. The cherry on the other-hand, only held the burning fury, the want, to grow stronger on it's very own lone road. The group would find themselves in a places that was no more than 4ft x 4ft. Pretty much a box of a room, but the moment that Jake's feet got to the middle of the room ....it would light up suddenly and he would find himself looking at an expansive field that overlooked an ocean.
A creature of the lightest of light would appear at his side .... a pokemon ...that seemed to look like Mew, but the coloration was wrong.
"I am the Avatar of the one running this show." "Just want to make things clear to you ...first off, .....you won't die, and second....you nor I am suppose to be here."
"The guard is away on a lunch break and I am a bit bored."
"So, you might want it to be known that trouble is on it's way, so let's get this over with quickly." "Also, normally in the mirage arena, pokemon can't die, but with the Rattata problem ...there is no telling what sort of malfunctions might happen here."
The little Mew smiled.
"Now, what are you here for, training or practice?"
It was a bit confusing, because both words sounded about the same.

Raven's teeth snapped against one another hard in that moment, his jaw locking in place as he did his best not to do that again. It would be a rather pathetic way to die, drowning in his own blood because he'd accidentally bit his tongue off.
After a time the boy would sigh, the electricity passing through his body and into the surrounding vent. Unlocking his jaw, he made a point to quickly check his teeth with one finger; good, he hadn't managed to crack or damage anything. Running a quick check of his personal aches and pains, he found them surprising minimal. Most of the agony seemed to be from the shock itself rather then the aftermath.
Sighing again, the boy would silently thank his placement in the Strike Team. Somehow he knew it was for that reason alone...for the link he now shared with Fable, that the damage to his body hadn't been significantly worse.
Strengthening the grip of his left hand upon the pommel of his sword, the boy would stride forward with renewed purpose. To exterminate the Rattata in this Arceus Forsaken Vent, and get out of here. He had a great deal more important things to take care of.

Crimson cloak fluttering faintly behind him, Raven continued to stride through the metallic hallway, his back lightly arched to keep his head from striking the ceiling. Red eyes scanned the area for any other loose or damaged wires, as well as signs of the purple rodents he'd come to eliminate. Thankfully his bloody orbs came in quite handy in such dark locations; though the opposing result was near blindness in bright, well-lit areas. A boon and a curse...just another unfortunate result of his father's blood in his veins.
Idly the boy would glance over a red stain upon the floor, the remains of one of his previous encounters. Thus far he'd managed to eliminate five of the vermin; but he well intended to double that score in a very short amount of time....

(Raven's hp - 3, so far)
The movement of something in the ceiling would bring his opponent sliding down the shaft. And accident, as the Rattata had been scamping overhead and had slipped falling twisting on what seemed to be the inside of a pipe as she lands in front of them with all four legs spread. Her tail was whipping like mad from one side to another ....as she landed and actually once she was assured she was safe would giggle at them.
Her eyes coming up to look at them.
This was a very naive pokemon.

THe cute little mew would laugh in his face.
"Training it is ....so what do you want to do? Dead man's wager? Rock to ya drop, or did your Professor send you here for some special tender loving care."
The pokemon suddenly had a malicious look on it's face. Though a slight cough and it would be gone and that beautiful ....cutesy look was back as the pokemon's tail twitches. It was waiting for his answer as it would conjure up a bubble to lay on ....as it allowed itself to bounce on it up and down looking oh so cute.

Raven would scowl slightly as he looked upon the Rattata. Not a coward like one of the ones before, but this time a mere child...or at least a creature with the mindset of one.
The boy resisted the urge to smirk at the thought; a rather tall order for him to be calling someone a child wasn't it? Well, he supposed all were children at one point...but innocence didn't last forever. This one especially wouldn't last for much longer.
An act performed in naivety didn't change the act itself.
Reaching for the fourth and final ball upon his belt, Raven would release his Zorua upon the field. The little fox still had yet to complete his training, and he had a long way to go before he'd reached his former level of strength. A level the boy very much intended to see him reach again.
As always however, Requiem had very different ideas upon his release, thoughts far and away from the battlefield. With a flick of his tail the fox's blue eyes would gleam at the sight of the female ">Well ello there cutie<" The Zorua remarked with a wink, sauntering over to the Rattata's side ">Now what brings ya to a dark place like this?<" Death had dulled his charisma, his ability to captivate in an instant; but it was clear to the world Requiem had lost none of his charms. At least his version of it.
Pokemon: Zorua [M] Name & Level: Requiem, Lv 1 [Temperament] Bold Bio: During his rather lengthy adventure within the aether, Raven encountered a sight most odd. The forms of three Ghost-Type's surrounded by mist and wielding instruments; at their center standing a lone Zoroark with a microphone. Instead of fighting, the four Pokemon joined together in melodies most haunting; and when the performance had reached its end, the musicians shifted, the air glimmering about them as their forms disappeared, revealing a group of four rather unique Zorua. Requiem had been the lead singer of this group, and despite a lack of combat with the creature had left a rather distinct impression upon the child. Thus when Regal offered them the chance to obtain any one Pokemon they had encountered upon the island, Raven chose the little black fox. He knew nothing of Requiem's combat ability, but he had witnessed the signs of a leader, and the potential for so much more! Upon his first release into the world outside the aether, the Zorua declared this and all too follow his first 'Solo Tour', and that he was going to rock this world!
It was on the shores of Iron Island Requiem met death against the Magmar of a Strike Student named Trix, a member of the self named "Team Legacy". Though the Zorua had proven his strength, plowing into his opponent with devastating power, gusto on it's own didn't prove enough to save him from the Magmar's Focus Blast. Saved by the ability of the team's Guard Student, Requiem was reborn as an egg; and once hatched managed to retain a patchwork of his old memories. The memory of his own demise especially is something he feels will forever mark his soul. The Rattata would giggle again and blush a little as she looks over at him and smile.
((This is my home silly, me and my family. My name is Vitana, I like the dark, and who are you?)
She would ask. There was no fear on her, and there wasn't a threaten posture at his entrance. In fact, she seemed quite charmed by the little star as she simply continued to smile at him ...as she sneezes just a bit in such a way that only made her seem cuter.
She was the one using Captivate then.

">Me? I'm surprised you haven't heard<" The Zorua smirked, his words filled with idle charm as he spoke">I am the King of Cool, the Fox that Rocks. Some call me the Prince of Darkness!<"The Dark-Type declared, striking a dramatic pose as he reached the end ">I am Requiem, the Shadow Singer. Even the souls of the departed can't resist my melodies<" The dark furred fox stated with dramatic flare, winking roguishly.
Likely to prove the truth of his own boasting, the Zorua would close his eyes, tilting his snout toward the ceiling as he sat down on his haunches. Behind him his tail would slowly flick from side to side, keeping perfect rhythm. Then with a single deep breath, Requiem would begin to howl, haunting words forming in the ears of Pokemon as the sound spread through the vents, echoing nicely in the enclosed space.
Despite his small size, the Zorua's singing voice came out deep and rich; and every word was laced with a note so high it would eventually begin rupturing the blood vessels of his targets. Requiem had entered another Round, and his audience would pay for it.

(14 - 5 + 6 - 7 = 8dmg)
She would marvel at his words, at what he said as she listen with her full attention and she giggled at his words. He was a famous rock star it seemed, but suddenly her happiness would fall away. She would squeak in pain as his voice continued on and she felt her nose bleed and her ears would be pin against her skull as it dripped blood down the side of her head. She was in pain, a lot of it, and she didn't understand why.
She was on her feet as she declares lightly.
(This hurts .....why are you hurting me?)
She would eep in pain .....as she moves away from him. Her eyes watering with tears and brimming red from the shattered blood vessals.
She didn't understand, she really didn't understand ....as she moved away from him swiftly. She wasn't dashing away as her ears went down and her eyes would water as they seemed to get bigger. She was using Captivate again.

((Small error there. Her SP-DEF is only 6, so that'd be 9 Damage.))The Rattata's words would be lost on the Zorua however, his ears focusing only on the sound of his own voice. It wasn't due to vanity that he listened to his own melody so intently, but rather the desire not to fumble a single note.
After a time the beat of Requiem's tail would pick up, the pace of his howling speeding up to match. As the song got faster, it would also grow louder, the sound rebounding off the metallic walls and echoing.
The Zorua would spare only a single glance at his audience; but would he take the Rattata's look for the pain it was, or mistaken it for the awe he sought to instil?

The little Rattata would literally pass out ...as the pain continued. She tried, she implored him to stop, but he didn't as she pass out on the ground. NOt a single physical attack drawn towards the Zorua as she lay on the ground twitching only a bit, but for the most part ....out like a light.

So there stood the Zorua, oblivious to the pains of his audience as his singing came to a halt. ">Oi, looks like ma melodies were too much for 'er!<" Requiem yipped as he looked over the Rattata, truly thinking the female had simply fainted from the splendour of his performance.
With that the Zorua would be recalled to the confines of his ball yet again, Raven following the act with the clean severing of the Rattata's head from her shoulders. Swift and painless, even conscious she wouldn't have been given enough to register the feat.
That made six....four more to go.[
