George "Christian" JonesGeorgia, U.S.A.Freshman I said where I come from It's cornbread and chicken Where I come from a lotta front porch sittin' Where I come from tryin' to make a livin' And workin' hard to get to heaven Where I come from Christian pouted as the bell rang. They technically never got to start their game! What a bummer. He had been looking forward to playing with his siblings. Maybe they'd be willing to just hang out in the gym and play even with class being over since it was so wet outside. Would they think he was being silly if he asked? Rather than just asking, he kept it to himself. Everyone probably already had plans for what to do after school. He really couldn't blame them if they didn't include him since he had gotten here during the second to last class of the day.

Tennessee jumped at the bell and looked up in confusion. For a brief moment he'd almost forgotten he was in a school and looked back over at his siblings. It looked like they hadn't gotten to play after all, but there was always tomorrow he supposed. Andrew started to speak until he noticed Georgia's pout and sighed softly. Even though he was one of the oldest siblings, he was such a kid sometimes. It was a little frustrating but Andrew found himself smiling and, if he was honest with himself, he wasn't really bothered by it. "... You want to play anyways?" Tennessee asked since it was pretty obvious what Christian wanted to do. It wasn't like he had any other plans and he had already said he'd walk with Georgia places so he wouldn't get tricked, lost or abducted in this odd school. Not that he didn't think his brother could fight well enough to get himself out of trouble--Tennessee knew Georgia was strong when he wanted to be despite his sweet face--but it would be better to avoid that trouble all together if possible.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson (Jones) Freshman Charlotte dribbled and scored a shot. She didn't feel like leaving her siblings just yet. There wasn't much would do after school anyway. There was the garden club but she didn't want to go through the rain again so soon. The state made a pass to one of the others. Tennessee chuckled at Christian's surprised expression before glancing at North Carolina with a tiny smirk. "This time I'll definitely beat you," he challenged playfully even though he knew this was her game. Andrew was excited despite his normal calm expression and moved forward to catch the ball as it fell through the hoop after Georgia's shot. He cheerfully dribbled it back to where he could shoot from and couldn't help feeling a little grateful his boss had made him come to the school. It was nice to spend time together away from the stress and rivalries of being states. Here he almost felt like an average kid playing normal games with his siblings. Andrew took his shot which bounced solidly off the backboard and into the hoop. Violet's little curly tail began to wiggle almost as if in response to Tennessee's good mood. After all the (forced) time they spent together she could tell when he was happy and it made her happy, too.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson (Jones) Freshman "Nice, looks like yall have gotten better. Time to set the stakes a bit higher." She went to the half point line and faced away from the goal. Then she threw the ball behind her, landing in a perfect swish through the basket. Right now she knew she was showing off but it was one the few of her best moves and this one only works about 55% of the time. "It's not the matter of win or loosing, it's how you play the game." everyone is called 'darling', "yall" is a proper noun, sweet tea is the house wine, and you never EVER disrespect your elders...

Boy, that was going to be a hard one to copy. Still, he liked competition! Of course he would want to try rising to the occasion! Plus, no matter how much respect her had for women, he didn't want to be shown up by his sister. Who would? "That does look like a pretty hard shot, Miss Charlotte, but I'll take a shot at this and see if I can make it too." He scooped up the ball and went ot the half line. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before he threw the ball back. The throw was quite impressive and ailed beautifully, and you could just tell he put forth a lot of effort into this shot.
However, luck wasn't on his side. The ball bounced against the back board hard and ricocheted towards Christian. He got nailed in the back of the head and fell on his face. For all of ten seconds, he was unmoving. Then he lifted his head with an embarrassed look on his face, blush and all. "Well.... That was embarrassing... 'H'. You're turn, Andy." He rolled the ball so that it tapped against Andrew's feet so that way he wouldn't have to come over to Christian to get it.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte Wilson (Jones) Freshman "Oh my goodness!" Charlotte cried seeing the shot bouncing off and hitting Christian. "Easy for you to say after makin' a shot like that..." Tennessee said as he watched the net almost as if he expected it to spring to life and tell them North Carolina's secret. It just wasn't natural. His sister was a basketball monster. That was the only logical explanation. When Georgia decided to attempt the same trick, Andrew wisely maneuvered himself out of the other state's firing zone. Somehow this didn't seem like a good idea, but he didn't see any reason to stop Christian as he mimicked North Carolina's throw. What was the worst that could hap--HE WAS DEAD! Tennessee's mouth dropped open but no sound came out as he watched Christian's face being propelled into the ground by the errant basketball. Georgia was dead! He wasn't moving--was he breathing?--he still wasn't moving. What should they do? Should they touch him? Would CPR fix a head injury? Christian was definitely dead this ti--Oh, he moved. Despite his inner panic, Tennessee hadn't budged a single muscle from his rigid position of initial shock. It was only when the ball tapped into his feet that he started to relax and process what he had just seen. Andrew made a weird, almost snorting noise, snickered, then burst into a fit of laughter that forced him to hold his stomach and partially double over. Tennessee was almost in tears as he pointed at Christian and babbled something that couldn't be decoded from his giggling, but it was safe to assume it had been at his brother's expense. Oh, God, he couldn't breath. He might be the one to die this time.

"Like anything could get to that thick skull!" Tennessee snickered despite his earlier fears of Georgia being dead. He wiped his eyes as he finally started to get some control over his breathing again. Christian's tantrum only made it that much funnier and the younger state chuckled as he walked over and held out his hand to help his brother up. "Come on, your highness," Tennessee said as he continued to smile. "Let's get you off court and take care of that cut. Don't stand too fast, ok?" He didn't want to risk Christian overdoing it since he'd probably just suffered a brief concussion.

Leah Sky-Robin Jones
Massachusetts Leah Nodded as the bell rang, it was odd though, she heard her say Arthur? he was not feeling okay? Well if she was there she might strangle him...what did she care? "see you later Lili"She said and went to go change and went to her dorm. She was not in the mood for anything. Besides she didn't have anything to do. She wanted to go check out the pool, she needed a good swim. A place to relax.

After a short moment or two, he finally sighed and grabbed the other one's hand as he went to stood (though, the urge to pull him down to his level was tempting). At the mention of a cut, Christian realized his upper lip was moist. He lightly tapped his nose before he smiled lightly. "Ah, no need to do that. I didn't get cut on anything. I just hit my nose a lot harder than I thought I had and caused it to bleed. It'll probably stop in a few minutes." Georgia did stand up a little too fast, despite the warning his broher gave him, and swayed for a moment. He caught his balance though and kept from falling over again.
As Leah left, Georgia smiled and waved to his sister. "Have a good day, Leah! See you tomorrow~!" He then looked to the two that were playing with him and grinned widely. "I'm gonna go wash up some. Y'all go ahead and keep playing and I'll be right back." He turned and trotted off towards the locker room. There was a restroom in there as well, so he could just was his face off and then use some of the toilet paper in there to help stop the bleeding (not that there was too much left at this point).

Tennessee tightened his grip on Georgia's hand when his brother swayed in case he went down again. Only when Andrew was confident Christian could stand on his own two feet did he let go of the other state's hand. If standing too fast was a problem then trotting probably wasn't a good idea, either, but Tennessee knew his brother wouldn't pay that warning any more attention than he did the first one so he said nothing. "If he's not back in five minutes I'll go get him," he told his sister as Georgia disappeared into the locker room. "So long as he doesn't pass out and drown in a toilet he'll be fine... probably." Tennessee turned his attention to North Carolina and decided to take the rare opportunity of them being alone together to catch up a bit. "So, you've been here a while now, right? You ain't picked up any boyfriends or weird stalkers, have you?" he asked with a chuckle. He was just teasing her, but Andrew knew his closest sister was very pretty and had the sort of charm that might attract unwanted attention. The sort of attention that would definitely get his foot up some pervert's a** if he found them creeping on her. When Tennessee was a small child and lived in North Carolina's house he hadn't taken well to men courting her regardless of their intentions. How many times had his boss scolded him for trying to use the would-be suitors as target practice...? Well, it wasn't like he was trying to kill them, anyway. A bullet in the rear or wandering hands hadn't seemed like that big of a deal to him when he was a young territory. Those had only been warning shots.
