I'm really looking forward to this movie (im talkin like, bein one of the first people into the movie theatre to see it here in my town). The only thing that ever comes bad from these movies is all the posers afterwards..... Here we are surrounded by intense Castlevania fanatics, so to speak, but then you get these people who see this movie and believe they know all there is about Castlevania.... I dont know, me and posers dont mix, but at the same time this will be a really cool movie!
I remember seeing Bram Stoker's Dracula not too long ago, and that was a really good movie, I thought. Im sure they can pull off a Castlevania movie easily!

I'm still not so excited about this but I hope it turns out well now that Paul Anderson is out of the project.
It's funny though, I haven't heard one single piece of news about this in a long time now...

hypnocrown I'm still not so excited about this but I hope it turns out well now that Paul Anderson is out of the project. It's funny though, I haven't heard one single piece of news about this in a long time now... I know, I mean I saw they were working on it, but they really haven't told us ANYTHING about the movie itself as far as production goes and stuff...... not always a good sign..... sometimes when they do that, the movie gets pushed farther back....

It's funny though, I haven't heard one single piece of news about this in a long time now... <_< ahem... he is not out... he is supervising... though, the lack of notices is because there are rumors that the movie will/would/has be(en) cancelled XD! well, I never saw the actor cast, but until now, I am happy about the news <_< I would not like to see a castlevania movie in which they portray my so beloved saga as a survival horror movie, because, come on! >_< that is what it was going to be! a guy escaping from war finds refuge on an old castle, which actually serves as home to Dracula, and then, he must fight to survive <_< er... no, thanks... plus, it was going to be... a belmont >__> I could make a better script than what I have seen from them... at least I would consider the fact this Belmont had already the Vampire Killer *wich in the timeline existed already* and was a trained vampire hunter, and not a random coward soldier who ran for his life and got trapped stressed

But yeah, when I meant he was out, I meant as a director. At least Uwe Bol wasn't in charge of anything...
It would be great if my fanfic got chosen to become the official but that's not going to happen, sadly enough... crying

Uwe Bol is bad yes but Paul Anderson isnt much better and getting Sylvian White to Direct? its gonna be a disaster in my eyes. I remember the rumours that they were not including the Vampire Killer and maybe not showing the inside of the Castle... that wouldnt make it a Castlevania film

I hear its being pushed back to 2011 (not sure if it has been mentioned before) but that might be a good sign that it's gonna be cancelled (or maybe they put more thought into this surprised )

Im happy im not a Dragonball fan, if I was I would be really unhappy with what they did to it, this is a prime example to why i dont want a live action movie. Bring on an animation

Seriously now, If the story was really well thought of and the elements that made the saga so popular were included, it wouldn't be a bad film. I keep hoping the folks at Konami don't just forget to regulate things cuz there haven't been a lot of good videogame/movie adaptations. The only decent one I can think of is Silent Hill but that's mostly cuz I haven't played any of the games yet.
I keep wishing my fanfic could be made into the movie but that's easier said than done.
