When the door closed and the walls seemed about to collapse Bix draped himself over Gale blocking him from the falling dust and debris even though the other just sort of stood there. If Before had been closer he'd have thrown himself over both of of his injured team mates. He couldn't help it. The young man seemed to have a weakness for those who looked or were younger than him. Of course he was the trainee who'd admitted to wanting to be a 'hero' back in their orientation.

"Sorry.." He felt sort of embarrassed once it had stopped and he apologized to Gale for the instinctual motion. The younger trainee asked a question but he didn't really want to THINK about what was out there. They'd almost DIED. AGAIN. He was sure it would be for real this time.

Once silence set in those who were the most injured seemed to be recieving treatment. He took advantage of the pause to assess where he stood in terms of supplies.

"I have enough bandages left for one person. Anyone need it?" He looked to Before, struggling and blind. "How are you Before?" He moved to his friend's side and wrapped the bandages around his injured eyes. "Gale? How are you?" The snowy haired hunter didn't even WANT to think about opening that door.

Even if it was only for the moment, it felt pretty awesome to be in charge. It was like before, having power..except this time she wasn't using the power to kill people. She smiled toward Cassandra, counting off on her fingers. So herself, Cassandra..The One Armed Man who just used his on Ennea..good, good. This was going well. At Petra's suggestion that they do a headcount and make sure everyone was there Candace nodded. "That's a very good idea. It'd be impossible to tell if one of our own had been screaming and trying to get inside during all that mess.." Had everyone made it in? She hoped they had. Candace looked around with a small frown. This would be so much easier if there'd been a count off from the beginning, and if Candace had actually paid attention to everyone who was here. "Raise your hand if you're not here." She joked, trying to somewhat lighten the mood while she tried to figure out who they were missing. It was always times like these when you forgot if there were other people or not, when you didn't remember to list them until it was too late.

Gale spoke up and Candace was torn away from her attempt to make sure everyone was safe and sound in the shelter. "Good, good..hey, Watermelon. Need some help?" Ennea was being taken care of, so she figured she'd give Ariane some help. Candace dug through her bag until she found the bandages, walking over to the injured girl. "C'mere, Princess. Let me see your arm." Candace held a hand out for it, unwrapping the bandages so she could proceed to wrap them around as much of her injured arm as she could, being wary to keep an eye on how the girl reacted to the treatment.

Madison held the bandages in place for Davey, helping as best she could while trying not to interfere with his movements. She tied off the bandage when he was done, then smiled at him in thanks before focusing on Ennea.

"Are you feeling a little better now?" she asked, quietly.

"I think Bob didn't make it," She replied to the 'raise your hand if you're not here' comment. Like most of those trapped here though, she was worried - if someone had been left outside... That would be one living nightmare.

"Watermelon?" She echoed before bursting into laughter, "And I thought Jeremy was the only one who could come up with a nickname like that. It's the hair, isn't it?" She flipped her long, watermelon-colored hair before nodding, holding out her arm for the girl; there were burns from the acid all over it, from when she was going after Gale. She wouldn't bother to hide her pain because hiding her pain was... A pain. Instead, as the bandages went around her arm, she winced before giving the girl - Candace? - a grin when she was done, "Thanks. I needed that."

Moving her arm a little to get used to having the bandages on, she then dug through her own bag to dig out her own bandages; the bandages lessened the pain a little, but it still hurt.

"Wellll," She looked around; everyone had someone attending to them, and Jeremy was fine (despite the ripped shirt) before her attention landed on a quiet guy who had talked about scars being a reward from battle or something like that. Walking over, she raised an eye brow at him, "Jude the dude, right? Your face looks terrible, but let me see your arm. Now."

He had participated in saving Gale, so helping him is the least she could do... Although she was being bossy about it.

Jude was content to just relax though he did jump quite a bit when the door was slammed into by the things that were (thankfully) still outside and everyone seemed to be accounted for. He stared as the rafter shook a bit and finally everything was still. Blessed silence for the moment. He watched quietly as everyone went about patching each other up where needed. As far as he was concerned he could live with the wounds he had but he felt like he was teetering a bit on a dangerous ledge if he didn't get help.

He started to dig in his pack when Ariane came forward and talked to him, "I got into my work?" he said with a small grin gracing his face despite the pain it brought. The young man tensed when she touched him, the unfamiliar contact causing his eyes to widen a bit before he forced himself to relax.

She just wanted to help. Let her help.

"Th...Thanks," he murmured a bit more humble now due to her assistance.

"I have bandages I haven't used yet ... if anyone else is in need," he offered suddenly feeling awkward and shy.

(Jude's HP is currently: 12 with Ariane bandaging him)

Typing up the loose bandages, she admired her own work... Which was nowhere done up as nicely as Candace's work on her own arm, but good enough to hold and hopefully help Jude alleviate some of the pain. Hopefully. As gently as she could, she let his arm go before grinning, "You're welcome, Judy."

Oh look, the nickname slipped out before she could stop herself. Ah well.

"It has a nice ring to it, wouldn't you agree?" Her grin grew as she tugged at the remaining bandages in her hand; there should be enough to wrap up at least one more person.

For some reason Bix had practically thrown himself over Gale when the building had started shaking. To protect him? Gale wasn't entirely sure why, but he blinked up at the older boy a little questioningly.

"Er," he said with a shrug, and then grinned. "S'all good man, thanks. I appreciate the thought."

Whatever the thought was. Gale's eyes flickered towards Before as Bix wrapped his eyes, frowning. The poor guy...he couldn't even imagine what it would be like not to be able to see. Gale relied on his eyesight way too much, and to have that taken away...he suppressed a shudder, turning his gaze to the guy Ariane was bandaging. What had she just called him? Judy? Strange name for a dude...

"Hey," said Gale, hobbling over to him in a pathetic attempt at walking. "Hey, man, thanks for what you did earlier. Y'know. Helpin' me out and all. It was pretty cool of you."

This last part was offered with half a smile, Gale's attention moving to survey the room as he finished.

"Does anyone need bandages?" he asked. "I've still got some just in case."

Jude paused at the nickname and stared at Ariane before he said as firmly as he could, "Jude," as a way to correct her. Though chances are he'd probably give in to it if she was stubborn enough to keep on calling him Judy. That or he'd try to ignore it only to accidentally respond to it anyways. Either way it is simply downhill from here.

He looked over his arm quietly before he looked back up at Ariane, "I've been called worse," he said simply. Not to mention people singing at him. The singing the horrible singing augh he hated his name most days.

"So...We're trapped?" He asked quietly.

Jude gazed over at Gale and offered a small grin briefly appearing, "No problem. Glad you made it," he replied sincerely.

Leon couldn't focus much on the single point of entry they all came through, shuffling and scraping noises seemed to be coming from the perimeter that left nothing but a feeling of uneasiness and anxiety heavy enough to tread water and drown in. But then there were moments when the scraping and chittering stopped like the calm before the storm that gave pause to look around. It was amazing to see everyone milling about, tending to each other as quickly as possible before the storm began again.

He gave himself a once over, noting a few scratches but nothing that was bad enough to need a bandage, his own little pack left a weight in his pocket that urged him to join in the fray. "I Have my bandages too, is there anyone that needs tending to?" he asked out before looking around to see if anyone was wincing or trying to bear through their injuries silently.

He wasn't going to have that on his watch, the only way out of this was to act like a team. So the brunette boxer made his way into the collection of people from the bumpy heli ride, just to see if anyone needed a sturdy shoulder to lean on for a moment.

"Judeeeee-dy," Ariane chuckled, patting the guy on his back before looking at Gale when he approached them. She eyed him, noticing the bandages on him before giving him a thumbs up, "Looking good, I see! You know, Judy here said that scars are proof of one's manliness or something... You kids grow up sooo fast."

Grinning, her attention was then drawn to a male she... Don't really recall seeing. He had been even quieter than Jude to her.

Bix had no more bandages but the bat was still in his pack and his trusty (formerly defective) gun was safety and shoved in the front of his pants. He didn't want to scare anyone but he knew they had to leave at some point and he wanted to be ready.

"Everyone should check their ammo.. make sure they have a weapon." If anyone didn't have a weapon, those amongst the group with extras would surely share. He'd gladly give up his bat, it hadn't been any good for him when he'd tried to use it.

He was trying his best, now that everything had calmed, to hide the fact that his hands were shaking ever so slightly.

Gale reached a hand out, clapping it to Jude's shoulder. "Yep, I did," he said, and then grinned. "You made it too, and so did the rest, so somethin' tells me that's a good thing."

His eyes traveled briefly around the room; resting on the bedraggled, dirty, blood-streaked group before moving back to Jude. "Well," he said, correcting himself. "Even if we are a bit worse for the wear."

The first part of Ariane's sentence made Gale grin. The second part, however, rapidly transformed that grin into a scowl. He gave the older girl a somewhat disparging look.

"I'm not a kid," he said grumpily, though he sure felt like one right now. Gale's eyes moved to his leg, tracing over the blackened skin at his ankle, the redness that swelled up around it. Gross.

Bix's words made him look up again, and Gale's hand slid to his hip, pulling out the gun he had stuck into his pocket earlier. His fingers ran along the cool metal as he checked it for ammo, eyes narrowing slightly.

"Ari-berry," he replied simply because it was the first thing that came to mind. Was it witty? No, but it was enough to make him feel better about suddenly being called Judy. He might as well just give in to the nickname because she didn't seem to be giving up on it any time soon. Maybe if he just let it slide off his back she'd stop calling him Judy.

Or she'd just continue and he'd accept it like a big boy.

..Whatever.

He tensed slightly as he was clapped on the shoulder but he accepted the contact with a smile and a nod, "Yep. Gotta work harder than that to kill me," he replied.

He paused at Bix's suggested and move to get his pack to start checking on his gun first of all before looking over his bat for damage. Thus far everything seemed okay, the gun didn't have too many bullets to spare but it'd get him through the next fight if it had to.

"Ohh, that's new!" She grinned at Jude's nickname for her, sweeping her bangs to the side, "Ari-berry. It has a nice ring to it, and very adorable~ Not as much as yours though! I accept, Judy."

She was not phased by it at all.

"Sure you're not, kid," She patted Gale on his head, ruffling his hair before laughing, "One day, you'll grow to your full height and I won't be able to do that. Until then..." Her grin widened as she paused, stroking her chin with a bandaged hand, "Until then, that's my name for you."

Turning to Bix, she raised an eyebrow, "I've been asking for a gun since just now~ A nice, good gun with bullets." She might have chuckled a little as she said that, but soon turned serious again, "Or just give me the bullets. My gun's good and ready to go, but I ran out of ammo on my way here."

"I don't have extra bullets.." He checked the gun as he'd been doing and found a few rounds but not much more. He'd been pretty effective with it in the fight and wouldn't give it up.

"I have a bat though." The pale boy frowned. "Sorry Boss..You can have my bat if you want?"

At least the conversation distracted him from his fear. It was a lot easier to suppress his shaking and his endless worrying if he was talking. "Did anyone pick up extra ammo?" He said it aloud, hoping maybe one of them had thrown some rounds into their bag when the pile of weaponry was available. Fore thought would be AMAZING right now.
