Rio put some food on a plate just like Kai asked him too, and Kai took it. Kai walked back to Malcom's room and went to his side. "master, I'm sorry if I made you wait... Here, I got some food for you." then he added, "Rio made more food than I thought he would, if your hungry for more, I can always go back and get more for you..."

Kai laughed and replied, "Well... it's not horrible... but then again it's not the worst... If that makes any sense" then he added, "But um... if it isn't any good I can make something else for you."

Kai smiled and said, "I'm glad you like it... but of course it is not as good as when you cook." then he added, "Oh yeah, if you don't mind, I'll have to look at your wounds again sometime today, we may have to clean a few of them. Or they'll get infected... Which will make them hurt worse" Then he pouted at the thought of Malcom in more pain than he was.

"while then i'll be sure to cook something special when I'm able to get out bed,"Malcom replied with smiled. He finished his food and put the plate on the bedside table. "don't look so sad Kai,I'm fine. You do what you have to do. I rather have you treating me than sitting in a hospital room."

Kai smiled lightly and replied, "I can't help it master... I don't like seeing master hurt... Even when Rio made Sin attack you... i wanted to kill Rio... and at the same time I wanted to cry my eyes out because you got hurt..."

Kai smiled and replied, "I know... I just wish I could keep you frmo getting hurt..." he sighed and looked down and added, "Despite his urge to do bad things... I know Rio feels the same way. We haven't had such a kind master in a long time... Our last master was a jerk... he's the reason for Rio's fear of dogs... Our last master was an Inu."

Malcom laughed. "it would scare alot of people. but believe it or not Blake use to be the most gentle person i knew. Wouldn't hurt a fly,but after our mother died Blake changed." Malcom paused for minute as he thought back. "we were both close to our mother,father was hardly ever around. It hurt both of us deeply when she died."
