"His room. Night," Nana said softly before heading towards the living room.
"They did," Mimi smiled laying down beside her and tapping her gently on the nose.
Kaitou was curled into a ball on his bedroom floor with several deep gashes that could be seen on his back, arms and legs. They'd stopped bleeding after Nana's quick visit.

Kana knocked on the door lightly and opened the door. "May I come in?" Kana asked not knowing what to expect. She was in shock to see the gashes and cuts all over Kaito. She frowned and had a flash back her her step father beating her. She took a deep breath through her mouth and took a few more steps into the room. Chi-chi smiled, "I'm not keeping you up am I?"

"You already entered..." Kaitou muttered pushing himself to where he was sitting up, gashes covered his chest as badly as it had his back. "My body's gone numb... I knew it was coming so it was pretty much expected for me to be laying here like a beaten dog... Don't go all shocked on me. If this shocks you then you're pathetic..." He winced slightly as he leaned back against the wall.
Mimi shook her head no. "Nope. If you want, you can sleep in here tonight."

"You getting beaten doesn't shock me.. The fact I would have to see someone get beat his bad shocks me and other things about this situation is making me shocked.. Do you know who my step father is?" Kana asked. She wondered if he knew that her and Chi-chi are semi related to Mimi,Nana, and Rath. Kana took sat down against the closest wall which was dingle/ across from Kaito. "Really? Thank you so much!" She hugged her and smiled a bit.

"Yea... Rath told me when his sisters first purchased you two, but didn't expect you two to be late in delivery. I was supposed to be in Russia still by the time you two got situated here. He said not to speak of parents and I agreed to obey because I don't like speaking about those kinds of things," Kaitou responded softly as he licked the blood off his lip. "I deserved this. I kicked him inside the head 'cause I was in a playful mood. I'm supposed to be mature for my age."
"No problem," Mimi responded hugging her back.

"Oh Rath told me and Chi-chi today..The only reason I was shocked was because the way Rath beat you is the way I got beated by my step dad. My scars from him are mainly on my back, stomach, and arms." She said quietly. Kana frowned lightly, "You didn't deserve this to this extreme. You aren't suppose to be this mature for your age. Even Nana and Mimi agreed that Rath is too hard on you. They said you deserve to have fun and be immature. Sure we all have to mature in certain situations but at the carnival or around Chi-chi, Mimi, Nana, and myself you don't have to be. Besides it's funner to be immature." Kana said with a small smile. Chi-chi yawned and closed her eyes for a second. "What do you want to do?"

"Eh... It's not that bad. When he's started off with a bad day he tends to go a little overboard. It's like he loses himself," Kaitou said with a shrug. He winced again at the movement. "He once told me, a few years ago, when he seemed to snap back to reality after a scene much worse than this one you see, that he scared himself at times... He said that he's scared he's gonna do... This... To his sisters. My response was that if he gets mad to take it out on me so he doesn't take it out on them. It was the first and only time I've ever seen him break down and cry. I'm pretty used to this by now. I'd rather not go to the carnival due to my past experience with it. Every time I do go there to have fun with the girls, the scenes just keep flashing back and it hurts... I can only really relax when I can sit down, watch movies and just hang out with the twins, and just recently, you and Bachiko."
"How about we just go on to bed? It's been a long and tiring day," Mimi murmured closing her eyes.

"Yes it's not bad for the one who gets shot at daily." Kana said with a smile. "The one bad thing is family personalities run in the family. I wish you wouldn't told him that. Besides you kicking him, I'm probably the reason he beat you so bad, Rath and I been at eachother's throats since we met. If that was the case I'm sorry he beated you that bad. Though I'm glad he hasn't tried to hurt Chi-chi. I understand why you rather not but it was fun being with you." Kana frowned a little. "If those scenes kept flashing in your head you shouldn't have came with us." Kana got up and sat next to to him. "Well is there anything I can do for you, to help you feel better?" "Okay ." Chi-chi said closing her eyes again trying to fall asleep.

"Finger-brush my hair as I fall asleep," Kaitou smiled lightly while leaning over to where he was laying his head her lap. "I go because it makes the girls happy. I told him to do it before I knew of your existence. He isn't like his dad. He feels guilt about what he does and he takes it out on himself behind closed doors. That's why he treats me harshly. Who else will care for his sisters if he completely loses himself or dies? I'm the only one he can depend on. Nana and Mimi used to brush my hair with their fingers when I was younger and it's become a habit to mess with my hair before I can fall asleep. You don't have to, but it makes me feel like a kitten again..."

She smiled, "sure." She started to brush her fingers through his hair. "Well if he does take his anger out on you and it's because of me you can get me back for it. I rather not have someone take a punishment for something that I did. The only thing that reminds me of him and my step dad is when he gets mad. Well at least he feels unlike his dad. Well yeah that's true. Of course I will, I don't mind."
