Tate dropped, then, gaining her own footing on the ground. Okay, man, she was so done. Wolframite had said she could leave at dawn? Fine. How soon was dawn? Why did her dreams have time limits? It didn't make any goddamn sense. "Are you okay," she demanded; what passed for concern with Tate sounded more like irritation, but the look in her eyes was definitely conflicted between concern and fear.
Teeth clenched tight, her expression rigid, she watched smoke billow down towards another side of the mountain. What was going on over there?

Azzos' arm was bleeding, but the bone had luckily not poked out of his skin. He perhaps would've been in the same shape Polaris was in if that was what actually happened.
He shook his head, tears still clinging to his eyes, "Not your fault." He muttered when he felt he could, it sounded a bit cold and harsh but he was mainly focused on not bawling like a baby. When they finally stopped he noticed the tears in her eyes. "It'll be fine, we'll wake up and see it's not actually broken." He assured her, however he'd had dreams before of broken bones and they were indeed broken or had been broken at one point.
He didn't want to think about the fact that it did hurt enough to probably actually be broken. He pulled her into a clusmy one armed hug, teeth still gritted he was trying to grin and bear the pain. "Things could be worse, look at the bright side, we'll wake up tomorrow and get a cappuccino and some sticky buns from somewhere and laugh at the fact it was a stupid dream."
He was trying to make her feel better he didn't want her to cry."Won't do if both of us is hurt 'cause you're worried about me though, I can still help. I have a good arm to punch with. Heck might make me forget about the pain." He chuckled taking his right hand to wipe some of the blood away from her brow. "That's going to get infected if you're not careful." He was using the glove to clean the blood and to make sure it didn't get in her eye.

"...could just wake up." It was obviously a dream. Things like this weren't real. Ever's suggestion was absent, but maybe it wasn't all that far off base. As it was, the best that civilians in this area could hope for was to wake up uninjured; the worst was, what, death? Not that he thought that far into things: to Ever, it was more like 'this isn't really fun anymore.'
"I mean, I have better things I could be doing right about now..." Like hot strangers. More drinks. Taking advantage of a good hot shower and whatever was in his new-best-friend's fridge. The idea of waking up really wasn't that unpleasant.
It was just a matter of how. So for now he blotted gently at the wound, whether Tony liked it or not, and tried to keep an eye out for more trouble.

Sailor Chibi Hypnos was carefully watching from the best view on the volcano: on top of Big Kitty. There were people slowly getting closer and closer to them and they didn't exactly look friendly. This worried the small child and being protective of Big Kitty and his home, she found herself tugging against Leopard's Eye very gently in worry. She was going to say something when he noticed Big Kitty had realized before her! Phew. She clung tightly to him and nodded her head. Yes! She would protect Big Kitty! She was disappointed that no one would listen to Big Kitty but she would just have to try harder.
"Big Kitty, we will have to make them stop! I am ready to go with you," she said with a small gulp, gripping onto Leopard's Eye. The small senshi's idea of making was a little bit different, but she was assured by the the knowledgeable words Mister Birdy had told her previously. It was fed by her desire to help Big Kitty. She didn't want to fail both of her animal friends. This in mind, she was ready to ride him until the end of the world and keep her dear Big Kitty safe the best way she could! She was small, and not very strong but she would try the best she could!

Boreas' attempts to reach the guardian of the land were poorly greeted. Though only on the cusp on the black smoke's reach, Boreas instantly felt the horrid effects it possessed. His nostrils rebelled instantly and the awful smell seemed to creep into nostrils and down the back of his throat. The sensation to cough quickly to gag.
"Flora, cover you mouth and nose!"
The senshi of winter was barely phased by the blinding thickness or burning to the eyes. Smell seemed to overpower any other effect for him. True, he had a weakness towards putrid smells and this smoke had certainly sought it out. For now, he was forced to slowly retreat back as he tried to escape the smoke's reach.

probably still in zone three....
Apparently, somewhere along the way of running and hiding adventures with Ever and Tony, Sheldon Hobbes had masterfully managed to knock himself out and stuck down a crevice. The monsters had by passed him, the volcano thankfully didn't shift enough to squish him in his hidey-hole and no one noticed him. But he was now banged up and had one hell of a bloody welt on his forehead.
When he finally came to, his left eye was stinging from the trickles of blood and sweat that mixed in, his mouth had that awful metallic taste and his left arm hurt. This was like weeks ago all over again, and was also just annoying and was affirming the theory that perhaps this wasn't really a dream; shouldn't these have been kicks to wake him up? What the hell. Whatever this was, staying in the hole, no matter how much managed to miss him from before, wasn't the best place. Again. Volcano.
With his good arm, Sheldon pulled himself out of the hole (he seemed to have been on the ground for a lot of this adventure, it seemed) and made his way back to his earlier companions, Ever and Tony, who seemed to have acquired more around them.
"Well, you guys look like crap...." He greeted them, a bit too calmly and without a care as he dragged himself closer.

Scylla managed to move away from the child-sized monsters kicking her a**, ducking, dodging and generally trying to ignore the fact her face was swelling like she was an abused child. She could hardly see out of her right eye as she fought her way through the field, looking for someone. Looking for Ares, looking for Albali, looking for Nemesis, or someone familiar that she could attach herself to. As it was, Scylla was getting a melee work out, and that was ending poorly. She was tired, she ached, and she would have to explain to just about everyone in her life why she looked like the ad girl for a battered woman's shelter. Was her nose wiggling? Surely not- that would mean that it was broken, and she'd be bleeding more, right?
Then again, she was bleeding an awful lot.
From behind her, she heard Leopard Eye's roar and whirled around. People were moving in to attack him, and allies and enemies alike were getting swallowed by a cloud of something. Ugh, she could smell the sulfur from here. How disgusting! The smell would haunt her for weeks. Hey! She could smell. Did that mean her nose wasn't- she ducked out of the way, spinning and raising her hands in fury as more of the rock monsters moved at her.
"Scylla's Hunger!" she roared it out, and the limbs of her Kraken shoved through the ground, slower than their usual response time. She could feel their pain itching down her spine like they were alive- here on this one's ground, she was weakened by the heat. It was not something neutral, or chilled. Here she was at a distinct disadvantage. Calamari, ho!
She swept her arm out, and the tentacles lasted through the waves of monsters, knocking those she could back into the pit. She could probably pull some of her allies out of the smoke, but what if the sulfur smell clung to the limbs? Ugh, that would be terrible. Was the kid okay? It looked like it was only the grownups taking the brunt of the... was she calling him BIG KITTY? Whatever. Only the kid seemed to be safe from "Big Kitty's" wrath.
She watched the smoke creeping her way with a sense of impending horror.

Damn...
Captain Alumo gagged and sputtered, his arm going to cover his mouth and nose while his eyes were forced to close as blinding smoke billowed in front of him. Ugh, and that smell. Oh god, he thought he was going to die... The smoldering ash around him was bad, but the smell was just horrible. He wanted to curl up in a ball and cry. But that was too disgraceful, and they were so close.
He couldn't see if Moonstone was okay. They hadn't met before, but he'd seen her in action on the field and he had to say, of the few people he was impressed of in this territory, she was one of them. Things were obviously not like this back at home. It was almost refreshing to see such youthful perseverance for the sake of the mission.
The dark eyed Negaverser coughed roughly, blindly reaching around at his feet for something to pick up, something to throw and hopefully to injure, or at least distract, the Guardian, or maybe even the little Chibi with him. And he did just that once he found a stone, pelting it in the same direction he was throwing before. Smoke or not, he knew the general area.

"I really wish it was a matter of waking up," he said dimly, thinking back to the last time something like this had happened to him. It was all so fuzzy, he couldn't remember how it had ended, just that he woke up from a coma.
Tony relented and let Ever tend to him, looking miserable. Probably only half as miserable as he felt, though. He sighed grumpily, looking around. He noticed Sheldon heading their way and a rather refreshing wave of relief hit him.
At least the boy hadn't been killed. Tony hadn't done a good job looking out for either of them.
"You don't look much better," he mumbled.

Moonstone's brown eyes went wide with shock; Leopard's Eye was breathing fire and belching smoke at them; clearly the actions of Captain Alumo and herself had pissed the kitty off royally. She found herself forced to her knees because of the thick, acrid smoke; gagging and choking on it; eyes smarting as she tried to breathe through the leather of her sleeve to filter the air.
She felt dizzy from smoke inhalation but she still wasn't going to give up! They'd come so far! "Captain! Watch out!" She didn't know him, but she knew his rank, knew that she should offer up to him any aid she could manage, even then.

Castille looked around through the smoke and rocks, spying what looked like another regular human. She watched him wiggle free from a hole in the ground, and wander over to another guy, then a third. Thinking that being alone right now is far worse than anything so far....
She walked over to the group (Sheldon, Ever, Tony and others), still wiping the blood off of her right arm, and wincing with disgust as it left a little streak from the cut.
"Are you....guys..human?" she asked, eyeing their normal-looking clothing."

Oh wow...yeah, no. Atlas was not okay at all. Gianfar bit his lip a bit and winced with sympathy at the sight of the poor beaten senshi in his arms. Right, he'd been attacked, hadn't he? Brutally. He followed Atlas as he kneeled and tried to regain his bearings, looking worried now. Was he going to get through this alright? He was pretty beat up! "Mostly, yes. My shoulder got hit just now, and I almost fell into a fissure...but other than that...you want help up?" He asked, lightly placing a gloved hand on his shoulder.
Augh! That smell! Gianfar suddenly gagged and covered his mouth and nose, pulling a sleeve up to try and keep himself from smelling or breathing in that horrid smoke. Disgusting! "We--augh...w-we have to get up there...can you.." He coughed. "Can you walk?"

They're not only attacking the Guardian. Flora realized, as she spotted what was on Leopard's back as they drew closer. They're attacking a kid too! She was highly displeased at this, holding on to Boreas as they moved, trying to quicken her pace.
Unfortunately, the Guardian himself didn't seem at all pleased, and smoke began to billow into their direction. Boreas didn't have to warn her twice; Flora immediately clapped a gloved hand over her mouth and nose. It had reminded her eerily of the time where she had teamed up with Ares, and thinking of it made her shut her eyes, her other hand still tightly holding on to Boreas.

-He was the one comforting her....? Wrapped in his one armed hug Polaris couldn't help but feel ashamed of herself. Here she was the one with powers.. the one with training and the duty to be a solider... And it was Azzo who was being brave. He still wanted to fight for crying out loud! She sniffled as she forced away the last hints of moisture at the corners of her eyes, her voice coming out a little more needily then she'd meant it to.- "Do you promise?"
"In the morning I'll see you and everything will be alright. Promise."
-Pulling away, purposely gently and slowly, she peered over their protective boulder, eyes taking in the chaos. It was her turn to be brave, she just needed to figure out what to do.-

Ever gestured at Sheldon: a quick movement that was universal and crude, pulling a face as he did. Really, Ever looked...surprisingly alright, for a half-naked civilian among crazy monsters, lava, and freaks in costumes. He was doing just fine. Of course, Tony'd taken enough damage for the both of them...
As Castille approached, he tipped his head to look her over, and let her question hang for a long moment before caving in to reply. "No, we're ******** guardian angels. What do we look like?"
