Uchihas apprentice Let Me Live I actually have three friends getting married. D: I'm a bridesmaid for one, maid of honor for another (my best friend!), and a regular guest for the third.
Ugh.
Also, looks like I'll be wearing a Vera Wang dress for the one I was trying on for today. D: Mypoorwallet. This year will not be cheap for me. lol xd Must be tiring and expensive rofl But, that sounds really awesome 4laugh Im still 18, so none of my friends have any plans of getting married anytime soon xd

I'd just realized I'd missed them those years and I really like them.
Can I jump in this marriage conversation?
I'm jumping in this marriage conversation.
I never went to a wedding until my cousin's when I was 17. Since then I've only been to 2 and both were in the same year. So when I was 20/21.
However my brother is getting married January 24th, 2015.
I have a year and I'm already freaking out about a dress, hair, and if I want to get my nails done or not.
What do you wear to a winter wedding as the sister and only sibling of the groom?

Even though none of my really good friends have gotten married...
Well 2 are engaged to each other and have 2 babies already. They've been engaged since the first was a fetus, but they haven't been able to afford a wedding. 2 (4 if I include their men) are seriously nearing the point where they really only have two options; horrific break up or marriage (with or without papers). And 1 is currently knocked up and living with her ex-girlfriend.
I went to Catholic school and my class graduated with 68 students. So we all know each other better than we should and my 1 friend is a FBstalker and tells me all the gossip even though I really don't care.
2 had babies within 1 year of graduation, 2 or 3 are pregnant, and 1 is engaged... I think. Most of my class (me included) seem to have an epidural worthy allergy to commitment so I'm not sure.
My Freshman year college friends? Well 3 have babies, 4 are in various levels of engagement, and 1 has been engaged twice the 2nd being the lass he cheated on the 1st with.
Sooo... yeah.
It happens faster and in far more ridiculous ways than you could imagine. X3.
And I didn't even get into the people I was friends/went to high school with who were younger/older than me or went to my catholic grade school with me (again small class).
It's... scary when you add in them.

You probably won't have any say.
I think every bride is kind of a liar when she says "Oh, you can pick it".
Everyone has an idea for what they really want and tend to not want to deviate.
I mean I already know what I want my bridesmaids to wear even though the very thought of getting married makes me itchy.
It's going to be a Catholic wedding and I wont be participating unless they ask me to do a reading. Which frankly my brother probably wouldn't set me up to do since he's not religious either. But I really have no idea. I might have to do a speech. Again no idea.
Their colors are Amethyst and Peridot. So med-dark purple and spring-y green. I also know they were going to do a kind of viking-y style reception. But now that it's actually happening they seem kind of set on this one hall with catering that probably won't do it.
Again I want to go bright (neon, jewel, or medium) while still being complementary so I've basically narrowed down my search to orange, yellow, coral, hot pink, magenta, aqua, and blue. Or a print in similar colors.
I don't want to look slutty or frumpy. I literally can not wear strapless unless I freaking glue it to my skin (my chest will just not support it) and I look like a man in a halter top. Oddly enough these few limitation have removed almost every dress I looked at and the ones it didn't I just didn't love.
It's frustrating. lol.
