Claire's attention was toward's the boil now. He had said that things needed to calm down. She turned her attention towards Barth who was now with Lilith. Claire was jealous. She liked Lilith, a lot, and was jealous of Barth who had gotten many companions very quickly. She casually moved a bit closer to Barth, hoping Lilith would shift her attention. Worth a try.
((I say 'attention' a lot))

"Mine got thrown somewhere," he said, pathetically, "and then stolen."
Although with Lilith so close, he felt distinctly warmer. Especially his face.
"I err, I mean, you know, they're useful. Marks are. Occasionally. ...Hi, Claire," he said as she moved closer too.

Natalia was not entirely sure what had just happened, dazed by the cuddles and dares going on around her...had there been a fight? Glancing over to see the poor patchwork boil on the ground (who she assumed was the 'Chris' everyone spoke of, and who the sloth demon had yelled at...or was is Chris Cough? Cross?) and then to his friend Riley, who had leeched onto his side indefinitely, Natalia held fast to a look of pure distaste. Renaissance's chest felt warm beneath her cheek and hands as she nuzzled further into his clothing, giving very little thought to the motion as his grip tightened around her waist. Things were taking an interesting turn, that was for sure, but did she like it? Not as much as she liked the game they had been playing only moments before.
LW's dare with the little undead ghoul had been adorable. She too could not help but giggle and applaud, offering a thumbs up in approval! And the dare after that, well she hadn’t really seen...but this? Fighting? The game was supposed to be fun! "Hey now, do we need to remove the booze?!" The werelemur chimed in with an empty threat, even if things seemed to be settling.

Oops. "Hi, Barth. Hi, Lilith. Hi... Barth's ghoul-friend." She really didn't know what her name was and that's definitely what it looked like. She looked at her stomach and played with it's teeth. "So... Uhm..." Claire didn't know what to say. She looked up at the three and gave a weak smile. "If I'm interrupting anything, I'll go. Uhm. Do you guys know where to get that drink stuff?"

"Oh," said Ren evenly to Lilith, appraising her with a light smirk (it was the cider). "I never said you weren't relaxed or that there hasn't been any fun. It certainly seems as if you've found someone to relax with." His gaze flickered down the length of the sloth demon (What was his name again? It kept escaping his mind) before moving back to the blue haired girl.
"Although, it seems he's still lacking in certain areas - like his clothing - so you might want to not be so comfortable with him just yet."
Aka: That coat was much too small for him. He was probably freezing. Ren's words were not serious in the slightest, and the teasing tone was easily heard through the words. After all, where was the fun in being too serious?
One of Ren's wings flickered out, curling around Natalia briefly as she shifted closer, pressed tightly to his side, his arm firmly around her waist. He bent down to whisper "You're too close," in her ear before nipping at it playfully, leaning back to see if the situation had gone down yet. On his other side, LW was also nestled against him, and the warmth felt nice, especially on a brisk night like the current one.
"What a night," he said, to no one in particular.
And it isn't even over yet.

She didn't even hesitate in taking the bottle that was offered to her by Ren. LW took a second hefty sip from it before placing it back in the gryphons reaches. Best not to keep that sitting in easy access for her. No telling what this second sip was going to do to the she-wolf.
Nose wrinkling up at the meal that the demon cooked up for the dare-ee, LW found herself curling up comfortably next to Ren while her gaze darted around watching...what was she watching? The she-wolf didn't even know. But something kept drawing her gaze all around the group. Yet she wasn't actually looking at the others. That cider was pretty good stuff.
She heard Ren's voice say something, but the words sounded more like a jumble of noises to her. Not that she was really paying attention...
Wait. Ren was talking? And did she hear Natalia's voice in there somewhere too? It was someone elses turn now? Had the recent dare-ee already completed her dare? Oh no. She was slowly losing her mind, wasn't she?

Lilith nodded to Bartholomew just in time to see the smaller demon, the avarice gluttony, make her way over. Her attempts were not in vain and the reaper's attention was caught rather quickly. She made a small smile, holding her hand out to Claire as she stayed firmly pressed against the sloth demon in a vague attempt to keep him warm as she addressed Claire, "You're never interrupting."
Of course, the same couldn't be said for the male gryphon. She didn't seem to listen to much that he had said, her eyes checking him very intently. She did so for a bit, giving the appearance that she was not listening to much of what he had to say until with a small smirk she replied, "You're lacking in certain areas too, definitely ones more important than clothing." One she didn't elaborate on either, but surely, everyone knew what she was talking about. "I'm sure I can find a way to be comfortable with him."
Without delay, she turned her direction back to Claire.
"Why don't we go find you some food? You can tell me all about the different kinds of foods you have tried while here at the academy." She suggested, thinking the demon would appreciate that idea.

She had been so focused on Amrita that she hadn't been very observant regarding the students around her - for one, there was a naked Demon that she wanted to avoid eye contact with, and two, because she had been rather nervous about being called. Still, there was no way she could miss the loud booming voice from Barth. Head raised, she turned towards the Sloth Demon before staring as Christof collapsed. There was a look of shock, then horror mixed with worry as the hunchback fell.
She might not be the best definition of a 'Demon' in the eyes of most Halloween denizens, but even she knew by instinct what had happened... When did Christof get a mark on him? If anything, why did he even allow that to happen? After all, a mark is very much like a contract... You have to agree to the contract for a mark to appear.
While the Spider Demoness wanted very much to go over and help him up, she saw that he was already surrounded by good company. A soft sigh of relief escaped her lips and she ran a hand through her bangs; this is worrying... Demons placing marks in school? However, when she felt and heard Tess' worry, she shook her head and patted the ghoul's hand with her own before giving it a gentle squeeze.
"No, that... Mindflayer will know better than to do anything here. It'll be fine." She smiled, her words seem to suggest that something will happen somewhere else in the future, but her tone was reassuring... At least, she hoped it would sound that way. She didn't want to get herself involved - even if it was indirect involvement - in the power struggle of two Demons, especially not while still in school.
Besides, there were students easing the tension already! Her smile grew a little, "See? Everyone's acting normally."

Flushing with embarrassment at the sudden commotion, the hunchback let Riley pull him back out of the circle towards the confines of practically hiding behind G. Christof felt the urge to run off right then and there. But that would be letting the Christmas Freak win. Something must have happened in Candy Cane lane... something after he had been incinerated, he supposed, that had corrupted the girl that seemed smitten with... his Master. Maybe she wanted to corrupt him too? Thankfully it seemed Amrita was still sane, properly fearing the horrible little monstrosity that followed her around still- His head ached. He was used to a basement with only lab rats for company, and a to-do list and occasional trips to the cemetery or local morgue. The outside world was too large, too much, and far too terrifying.
He was feeling numb, still crawling in his skin when the drunken Griffin's words stabbed the embarrassment deeper. Had he missed the part where the seemingly harmless Christmas Pet had tried to eat him? He wasn't crazy. He knew it. Or at least he hoped it. It all seemed rational-
His thoughts were cut short as suddenly he was faced with the drooping neck of a shirt not fit for the frame it voluptuously hung from, and soft hands cradling his cheeks. The fog slowly dissipated, leaving a soft worried brown face. His mind tried to catch up as the ground settled under him, but all he could manage was a confused sort of whine in the back of his throat.

"Lacking?" Barth couldn't even think up a smug response to the fuzzy monster, he just looked vaguely depressed.
It hadn't even been his dare.
But he wasn't going to get Carry kicked out over it. Birds of a feather, and all that. Also, walking all the way back to the dorms was hard. Fortunately, Lilith had the smug response thing down.
Strangely, he pretty well knew what department Lilith was referring to. It was definitely not the one Ren would be thinking.

Ren did not see LW take another sip, but his hand was resting on her back and he felt the movement. His fingers pressed between her shoulder blades, making slow, rhythmic movements as he glanced up at the pale-skinned reaper, letting out a genuinely amused laugh and shaking his head.
"My, you talk confident, don't you?" he said easily, golden eyes flashing with mischief. "Touche, miss reaper, although I can assure you I am not lacking anywhere that's important." He inclined his head in a quick bow. "I do, however, appreciate your concern for my well-being."
Ren gave her a mock salute and a wink, done with the reaper now, and turned his attention back to LW, his brow creasing in slight worry as she half fell against him. The werewolf was looking vaguely dazed, her face beginning to flush a pale red.
"Little wolf?" he said. "Are you all right?"

Claire smiled and took her hand. "I like food. I have plenty, though. I just need to find that drink that made that girl drunk. The one with the mouth like mine, but on her head. Will you help me find that?" she said.
Claire needed to go to alcoholics anonymous or something.

The whine that followed the djinn's concerned questions did little but cause the ghoul's head to tilt, and she nudged his chin up a little further so she could better see his face. "Sir Igor, are you well?" Lips pursed, and stroked her thumb along the stitching that traced one cheek. "Christof?" Having never allowed herself to be marked before, Yaya had no experience with the harsher side effects it could bring, but they were clearly very unpleasant and disorienting.
A glance to his side took in the rigid stance of the mindflay, and it was almost a visible effort for the marid not to close that gap between them just so she could get a little closer to that palatable anger. It reminded her Westus, and why she'd been so keen to mark him and keep him close.
"Do you want to come sit with me?" Distraction was needed, and the circle of half intoxicated students would do just dandy. Fingertips tracing down his cheeks to his shoulders, Yaya moved to take hold of his arm to give it a gentle tug, urging him to follow. "You can hold my hand if you like." That would surely be a good lure. A little calmness was just what was needed, and who better to restore it then the perpetually serene water djinn?

Lilith didn't reply to the male gryphon with words, however she did give him a look. It wasn't just any look though, she seemed to look at him for a good moment - up and down and then up again, as if she was making sure. Maybe it was because of what she seen, or maybe it was Claire whose hand she was now holding, but a small smile found its way to her lips as her attention went back to Claire.
"Claire, dear. I don't think you want to drink that. You're already marvelous to be around without that."

Colette had glanced around in hopes of seeing no one staring, but it was in fact the opposite. A lot of the students around had noticed the horrible occurrence. She wasn't sure it was possible to not notice, but it made her uncomfortable none the less. One ghoul specifically creeped Colette out as she stared, and kept staring, and did something then stared again. She had been with Barth earlier and took the first dare. Maybe she's looking at him. They had gotten separated when Barth had to er.. kiss her.
Deciding to just sit in silence, she pretended to care for Dasher who had ultimately passed out somewhere along the way, hoping it would take her mind off wandering eyes. At least he would be getting sleep. They had both been through enough.
One of the ghouls Barth was with before had made her way over. The Reaper. A friend, Colette had assumed, and she continued to pretend no one could see her. None of her business, really. Strangers weren't her thing.
Then the one who liked to stare came joined as well, and Colette felt much more uncomfortable. She ignored her, none of those titles were hers. The demon was probably talking to someone else, but "Barth's ghoul-friend" had caught her attention specifically, and Colette tried to nonchalantly scoot away.
Sitting on her legs was getting uncomfortable, really. It definitely wasn't the idea his ghoul-friend was around. Though, Colette figured she probably spent more time around him than even he would care for. She was really sure he would prefer being around his ghoul-friend more than her.
