123123 Arcanist - Mage Necromancer Dark Elf
123123 1800 - 1200 Adept
123123 Mood: Extremely Curious Thoughts: To many questions, not enough time.
123123 OOC:

Lo simply looked at the reaper standing before them with a bit of curiosity in her eyes. She looked at the man that he was pointing at just to see who it was. It was a man not much taller than herself with light blonde, almost white hair. Lo couldn't help but notice that he was very human in appearance. He had no gauntlets like the reaper and no claws like the beast folk. The woman he was speaking too was stranger still. She had covered even face in a cloak. An obvious sign to try and hide her face. Lo returned her attention to the Reaper though and stepped out from behind Adiel. "If you want to speak to that man why bother with speaking to us? It can't be anything to important." She asked, curiosity getting the better of her. Her eyes starting to light up at the questions she wanted to ask.

"How did you fix the dojo? It was ripped to pieces before you came here." Lo's want to learn everything about magic and spells greatly out weighed her suspicions about the Reaper and the Human. It was probably the one that could ever get her side tracked from her dislike of the two races. Turning her around to Adiel, Lo wanted on the silent elf's opinion on the matter. " A spell like that would come in handy. I could fix a lot of thing with it, right...Ad?" Lo trailed off on her sentence when she noticed that her friend was very still. It wasn't strange to Lo to see Adiel so ridged and quiet. The woman was about as social as a rock after all. But this time it seemed a little different, like she was ready to pounce on someone.

Lo blinked as Adiel spoke out loud, but noticed that the Adiel in front of her was not actually speaking. She walked back to Adiel and waved a hand in front of her face a few times before putting her hands on her hips. She said nothing as she tried to find Adiel's energy. If she was using a spell Lo should be able to sense her, in theory. However, Lo couldn't sense anything. Nothing from Adiel...and nothing from the woman who had removed her hood to answer Adiel's question. Lo was quiet for a moment, trying to understand the feeling of absolutely nothing that the girl was giving off. 'I can see her clearly, but there's nothing there.' Lo was baffled by the girl. Being able to sense even the smallest use of energy was something that Lo found was the best thing to keep her safe. But this girl was a walking and talking void of nothing.

Taking a small breath Lo calmed her self a little bit. "Ad, stop that." Lo said crossing her arms and letting her curiosity get the better of her again. "She hasn't done anything wrong."

123123 Spells used
12341234• Dementia
This ability allows them to store a tiny fraction of Justor's magic into their own body. The result is simple and yet very efficient. Not only are their casting times reduced by one post, but their spells are increased in size and range (and speed... slightly). This makes their magic harder to dodge, further solidifying them as the most efficient magic-users. The rate at which size/range are increased = add 1/3 of the base. So, 15 feet in length would become 20 feet in length. Speed is increased by about 1/5th, although this can become overwhelming if you constantly sling spells.

12341234• Detect Magic
Rank: Passive
Description: The user can detect magic. This means when others cast spells, or emanate high amounts of energy, you can see their aura. This also means you can detect magic in an area, meaning if an area has something magical about it, you can feel it. At higher ranks, you can determine the source in an area.

Exceed tilted his head at Nai as she seemed more preoccupied with whatever was getting to her. He saw her take off the hood and reveal her black hair as he soon watched her look around, looking at him slightly. He heard her say to live as it got him even more confused as he soon said, "I-Is that an answer to me?" He soon heard the Dark Elf speak as he soon looked to the Dawn Elf who seemed to be frozen in the area. "Uh... is everything alright?" He asked as his armor pieces retracted to being mere rings around his arms and legs as the torso became a belt.

The once still elf shifted once but not by bodily movement, but the supernatural light that flowed through her veins. The visage of her body flickered once and vanished completely as the dawn shroud made it look she had gone into thin air. Instead, she had teleported behind the woman without the hood now, standing there with her invisibility shrouded around herself. The instance of her transfer was quick as she stood where her mental presence had been as she slowly let herself be seen.

"Living... Its a curse sometimes. At times an eternal sleep would be best, no worry and no pain. No suffering and no death, just a silent departure." Adiel had her back turned to everyone else at the moment of her teleportation. Her arms were lax, no longer touching the blades concealed within her sleeves. Adiel had her eyes closed and looked down as she asked her simple question, one she thought that had a bit more meaning with its simple answer. Yet she didn't show it, it pained her actually with more memories of the past to where it was difficult to suppress.

"But why? Is there a purpose?" Adiel looked up and walked a ways away from the group and then stopped again. "Or do you just live to live?" The elf was curious to say the least, her back turned to her back and the rest of the people, a simple gaze out toward the forest where the occasional slam of someone's training could be heard.

"Will you tell me?" he asked again to further enforce how curious she was as Adiel herself was... Confused. 'To Live." It wasn't an answer she was prepared for as other people would answer something else, this woman was different. Adiel knew it, and she wondered for her only reason to live was to protect Lo', not to live for herself. The elf looked back slightly so that only her right eye was shown as she glanced back, hair dangling in front of her face that was not held back by her headband.

With her head back in her original position, Nai saw the blonde elf's companion give a stern warning in Nai's direction right before the blonde elf disappeared without warning. As the blonde elf disappeared, Nai felt a physical presence near her back where the voice had been. It wasn't a fancy skill or anything besides that strange sensation of someone being much too close, a sensation born from little hints like the sudden lack of a breeze and a shadow that could be caught at the bottom edges of Nai's vision. Nai, however, continued to heed the previous threat and did not move. In fact, she didn't bother exerting the energy to turn her head back around to face Adiel. Her mind had already connected all the scattered pieces. Confident that she knew the person behind her to be the blonde elf that had disappeared, Nai no longer deemed it necessary to identify an already identified individual.

However, just identified Ad, as the Dark Elf called her, didn't end Nai's focus on the elf. Nai heard and saw Exceed, but she no longer actively paid him any heed. His questions remained unanswered by the gunslinger as she stared blankly while thinking, . The entire situation was troubling to the woman. There were so many factors to think about and consider and Nai disliked being bothered with such convoluted thoughts.

Still without looking at Ad, Nai replied to her questions with a small shrug, the first appropriate gesture to come to mind. She lived to live, as Adiel said. There was something of a reason behind that will, but Nai was uncertain of it. Needless to say, putting it into words was far too difficult, particularly for the anti-social woman currently being interrogated on the meaning of life. Plus, she was also living because Sloth found it too troublesome to find a new host. Nai was certain that if she ever lost the will to live one day, the Sin would simply take over her body and deal with controlling it himself. Nai could probably put that into words, but like any explanation it was far too tedious to be bothered with unless her life was on the line.

Lo glanced at the human and was silent for a moment. He seemed to be confused about what had just happened. She frowned at the machines turning into rings on his arms and legs. Machines were on her list right up there with Humans and Reapers, maybe even higher than the two races. She was a person who strongly believed that machines were useless and would destroy the precious forest that made up her homeland. "Everything is fine." she said turning her attention to Adiel and hoped her small words of reassurance weren't wrong.

She turned her head to the side to watch Adiel's physical body flicker out of sight only reappear behind the woman with black hair. She said nothing as the Dawn Elf spoke to the black haired girl. Adiel actually looked like she was feeling something other than annoyance. It was a little shocking to Lo. Not once had shen seen such an expression on the younger elf's face. It was very confusing to Lo. It seemed whatever Aidel had questioned before the answer wasn't all that clear. And the silence she was getting wasn't going to help the situation at all.

Lo, being the child that she really was, didn't like the depressing atmospehere that had suddenly appeared. Putting her hands on her hips once more, Lo huffed loud enough for everyone to hear. "Geez it's like watching two walls speak to each other." Lo had spent enough time with Adiel to see the tall-tale signs of a person who was anti-social and it annoyed her to no end. Lo liked to talk about anything and everying. If only to break the silence when things got to tense, like now. "It's a simple question to answer. Surely you have a purpose for living." Even Lo, who was still a child to the Dark Elves, had a purpose for being so far away from her home and parents. Even if she was over eighty years older than Adiel. "And Ad. Just because someone has a strange energy doesn't mean she's out to get you." she said.

Before Lo was able to speak again, the Reaper Kain had called her by her full first name. It was more of a shock to Lo than Aidel speaking full sentences. Her name was such a mouthful for other races, that she had actually thought about refusing to state her full name any longer. 'He actually said it correctly too!' Lo was so stunned at the use of her name that she almost missed the comment he made to her. Her normally dark, purple hued skin turned a bright shade of red as a blush started to fog up her glasses. A second of silence was all she aloud before looking away from Kain and taking her glasses off to wipe away the fog with her gloves. "M-Mend huh? I'll be sure to remember that one." she said, looking at the three others and avoiding looking at Kain.

"That's kinda unfair to give them that title of being a wall."

He looked to them both as he was alright with the answer of living life to just to live it. But he didn't mind it at all as he looked towards Kain and crossed his arms, a small smile on his face. "What is it you wished to talk to me about Mr. Leingod?"

Hm, am I that vain? Or am I stoic? Hm, it matters not.

Adiel didn't receive an answer but perhaps it was for the better? The elf was in deep thought for a moment, her mind completely blanking out everyone save fore this strange woman. Still, her paranoia would not cease itself as it nagged at the back of her mind. For a brief moment when she turned her head, her disembodied conscience was sent out again to examine the woman closer without giving it off. Snapping her mind back, Adiel turned around and gave a light nod.

"A threat can be anyone, or anything. Forgive me, but I do not quite trust you, and I feel you're the same with me." Adiel said the the mystery woman and she glanced to the metal armed man, disregarding him, Lo and Kain and only had her focus on the woman.

"I'm Adiel, Alvahactus is my proper name. Your's? " She asked while she closed her eyes briefly and again sent her conscience out close to the woman's ear. Through her ventriliquism spell, she uttered a low whisper.

"Let's take our leave from here... I do not like an audience. There is a task I must complete, if you're willing to accompany me... and learn from each other in the mean time." was her near silent whisper to her and her conscience shifted back as her eyes opened. The others wouldn't recognize it this time as she masked her intention with her general mannerism.

In Nai's opinion, someone having weird energy was plenty of reason to be suspicious. As a matter of fact, so was someone who was so quick to aim a death threat at her. Although, rather than suspicious, which required an uncertainty lacking when one is certain of the other's intent to harm, threatened would likely be the more accurate term. Either way, Nai did not trust the elf just as the elf had assumed.

Although, a lack of trust was a familiar factor to the Lumirian raised gunslinger. When the elf's voice whispered into Nai's ear, Nai did not hesitate to agree. She didn't even feel shock at the sudden change in voice. While the gunslinger had yet to completely accustom herself to it, she adapted to the harmless communication quickly. After all, it wasn't all too different from telepathy. Regardless, everything Adiel suggested to Nai was in the human's favor. She, like Adiel, disliked audiences. Furthermore, Nai could not say no to a task, and she could only agree that the best way to learn about the important details of an individual was in action. Taking the offer as a signal that she could hide her face once more, Nai flipped her hood over her head, but not before a small nod and quietly muttering her name, "Nai." She was not trying to hide her name, but rather, could not be bothered to say it any louder or more distinctly.

Nai stood there, relaxed but ready to move wherever Adiel would go. Beneath her hood, the gunslinger's eyes were roaming over the elf's body, trying to glean whatever little clues and details possible. Normally, after the first glance, such attempts returned disappointing amounts of information, but Nai could do little else to prepare herself for whatever task the two were apparently going to tackle together. After all, she had already decided to simply call Adiel, Ad. The gunslinger did not understand the improperness of using the nickname when she was still a stranger, and even if she did, she did not care. "Ad" had already been proved as a name Adiel responded to, and that was all Nai needed to know.

The way she said her name was a bit chilling to the spine but the elf didn't release any anxiety of such as her mannerism was cut out completely only to her usual silent self. She had agreed to assist in a small task and that much would go a long ways for her and the good of Kusana. Looking around, she paused a moment and eyed over to what Lo' was getting herself into and she listened intently.

Adiel was Lo's sworn protector and vessel, and Adiel would keep her intentions very clear that where Lo' went, her sword would follow. If the dark elf was to be taken along on a mission, dangerous or not, she would have to object unless she were to be with. Inwardly cursing her natural loyalty to the elf, she had other important tasks to complete but her duty was first and foremost.

Transmitting her conscience again to the one known as Nai, she said "I'm sorry. But... It will have to wait. I'm sworn to protect that Dark Elf and if she's to leave on a mission, I must accompany her. Forgive my actions earlier as well... my paranoia assumed you to be..." She cut herself off after that and snapped her mind back into her physical self and turned back around to face everyone again.

Approaching the elf and reaper, she spoke up "If Lo's to come with you, then I must insist I come as well. I sworn an oath and I cannot allow to not be included in her protection." Adiel said simply and kept it straight to the point. It was true anyways, she sworn to keep by her side in times of danger and may her dagger strike true at any potential threat. The one known as Nai still was registered as a potential threat but most suspicions were cast aside as there were other people here. The human, whom she never seen before, was also on the dawn elf's radar. However unlike Lo', Adiel didn't share such hatred of the human race -- rather machinery was a completely different ball game altogether and that got to her nerves to which she even openly scowled at the mechanical monstrosity that was his arm -- she wondered how it would functioned after a nice dosage of Solonor's light.

"Oh. And Nai, would you care to join us? It would be a lovely way for use to get to know each other." Adiel said in a very unusual uppity voice, mostly to mask her irritantence of being in the close proximity of a machine. It was a machine that ruined much of her race's lives and it were machines that often spelled out 'death'. Her intention was to also keep an eye on both this Nai and the human -- as she knew neither -- while keeping within close proximity of Lo' to serve as her bodyguard altogether. All in all, it was all a clever plot to stamp out all suspicions -- the reaper wasn't excluded but she trusted him for her faith in her nation wasn't lost. Yet still, Dawn Elves weren't exactly welcome in Kusana.

(The King approaches)

"Tasks?"

Armor clinked. Steps crashed upon leaves. The King approached in all his glory. While the figure marched small steps towards the steps of the Kusana Dojo, grass and flowers grew behind him. Such armor would scare the wits out of anyone who didn't know who he was, but they should all know just by the stillness of the trees. Every aspect of their surroundings grew quiet. All lay in perfect stillness when the God of Nature stepped into the Dojo. Steps stopped.

"What tasks do anyone of you wish in these dark times? I prophecize a great evil upon us."

The figure turned ever so slightly at the middle of the Dojo. His green eyes pierced through flesh, wood, and bone. Those same emeralds gazed upon Adiel, sensing a slight disturbance in her. "What tires you, damsel?"

The eyes shifted slowly across the room to pierce right to where Nai stood. Life forms were all connected, and he was one with all of nature's creatures. He had memory of one he had seen very long ago. This was familiar face to his eyes. His right hand had a small movement shifting his fingers. The forest answered.

"Enyd. Burra'rum." The trees started to move slowly. They seemed to be whispering to themselves. Korok stood his ground and pierced the room with his ominous gaze.

Equipment: Longsword of the Forest, and Shadow of the Forest's Armor. No passive effects.
