Notwen noticed Cruxis' quietness on the way back to the village. He felt like reassuring the genin that the mission's failure was not entirely on his shoulders, but decided against it. Pep talks weren't the dark-skinned blonde's forte and he didn't want to cause emotional damage that words couldn't fix. As such he refrained from saying much himself until after their return to the village. As they were traveling, Cruxis wrapped his cloak around Takeshi's injury to keep the blood from making a mess. He's not a bad kid, but needs to be trained well... thought the three-eyed Uchiha as they walked through the village gates as the sun began to set behind the mountains. The village's nocturnal activity was just starting to stir and several night clubs began to open for the night. "Alright, first things first. We need to find a medic for Takeshi." said Notwen, who began to search the faces of people nearby to see if he recognized members of the Medical Squad. "Are there any medics around here? This shinobi needs to be treated right away!" The dark-skinned blonde hoped that someone was within earshot was able to perform medical jutsu.

Rissa was still perched up on the roof, overlooking the village and watching the sun as it sank behind the mountain. Soon, the village would be alive with it''s nocturnal populace out and about. Ninjas headed to missions, clubs, and bars, even restaurants would be buzzing in the next hour. All at once, her silence was shattered by a voice. "Are there any medics around here? This shinobi needs to be treated right away!" Someone was hurt..? Well, she was a medic wasn't she? Turning and looking into the street next to the gate, she spotted a group of three: An injured male, another darker skinned male... And Cruxis! Smiling at the sight of her friend, she jumped down, landing in a crouch. “ Cruxis! Nice to see you again~ Did you say you were looking for a medic?” The girl turned to the darker skinned male as she spoke, smiling softly as she did. “ I'm a medic nin, so I can help~!” The girl was eager to please, and her smile was soft as she watched the trio. Takeshi heard Notwen speaking/shouting while trying to sneak by the bears. It seemed that he'd failed at that. The pain wasn't extreme, but it was bad enough to keep him hunched over just slightly. He wasn't planning on standing up or lean forwared as that would cause the skin to shift and it to start bleeding a little, and the pain to surge slightly. Then before he could blink, the location shifted to the enterance of the village. It was then that Cruxis wrapped his cloak around his wounds. He figured that with it being covered he would be able to stand up fully now. He still knew it would hurt but knew that standing up would be for the best, plus staying hunched over slightly was giving him a stiff back. Straitening up, Takeshi could feel the shifting in his skin but it wasn't as bad as he thought it was. With that settled, he continued to walk on with the group. He was still taking the back position. Once inside the village, he heard Notwen speak aloud about needing a medical nin and the asking around if there was one close by. As it seemed there was one. She was young like them but he wasn't complaining. He looked over in her direction and nodded. "If you're a medical shinobi... I'm the one who needs the aid..." With that, he took off the cloak in which was covering the wound and waited for the medical female to take a look at the wounds he had.

Takeshi's wound seemed to be holding up better; or if it still hurt as badly as it had before the Kaguya wasn't showing it; walking straighter than he had been before at the very least. Cruxis noted that he would ask about the injury's experience; using any data he could glean from it in order to better know how the injury could be mimiced in a genjutsu; deciding that at least one of his goals had been accomplished; understanding how physical fighters could be hindered; though the means of learning this hadn't been what Cruxis intended. Still, they were now safely in the village and Notwen was calling for a medic; all would be well enough soon! The fact of the matter was genjutsu was a powerful means to trick the mind into thinking the body was injured, or unable to move, or under attack; and was a powerful tool in combat when applied correctly. Mimicking the sensation of a severe injury was the perfect way to incapacitate an opponent; and perhaps could even be used on the bears should they choose to attempt to gather the flowers again; though admittedly Cruxis was now not above just killing any bears they encountered on sight after the difficulty they'd encountered sneaking by the damned things. The response to the Chuunins call was answered and Cruxis saw Rissa running towards them! Perfect timing! Cruxis gave a polite bow to the medic nin; "It's nice to see you again as well.", debating saying more for a moment before remembering she had arrived to heal Takeshi, not flirt back and forth with the a bard's son; and so Cruxis said nothing further, allowing her to focus on what needed to be done. Rissa nodded at Cruxis before giving her full attention to Takeshi. " I wish we could have met under different circumstances.. Now let me see.." The young medic knelt down, undoing the cloak carefully to get a look at the wound. It was a bite deep, but nothing too bad. He was lucky it hadn't gone far enough to hit the bone. " It isn't as bad as it looks... A bit ragged around the edges, it'll probably leave a scar... how'd you get this exactly?" She glanced up at him for a moment, before snagging her med kit and pulling out some gauze and antiseptic, putting some on the gauze before gently pressing it to the wound. The antiseptic would speed along healing, and even with just that, he'd be fine to go out again the next day. “ There all done... Though I don't think it would be wise to head out again tonight.” Rissa gave a light smile, standing and brushing off her hands. She was in a good mood, having just helped someone out, and it would take a lot to get her out of it. Quote: Lines 180 + 10+ 20(int) = 210 Lines

Shortly after calling for help, Notwen spotted a girl jump from the roof of a nearby restaurant and make her way over to them. Upon getting closer she seemed to be delighted in seeing Cruxis, and even greeting the prankster. They must know each other... thought the dark-skinned blonde as the girl revealed herself to be a medic. Apparently Cruxis was still down about the mission's turnout because his greeting to the girl lacked the energy the boy usually had. "Thank you for coming to our aid. The injury came to be because of a mishap that happened while we were on a mission. We managed to get away before any further injuries could be sustained." After that Notwen became silent to let the girl concentrate on her work. Although she was young she seemed to be very keen when it came to applying first aid. When she was finished Takeshi's back was neatly bandaged. "How do you feel?" asked the Chuunin with a half-smile, then turning to the young boy asked, "You okay, Cruxis?" He was having trouble splitting his attention between the two genin, and was starting to wonder how every other Chuunin or Jounin with a team under them coped with that problem. It isn't easy...

As it seemed, Cruxis knew this younger female. The extent of their friendship was unknown but he could at least tell that they were friends enough just by how they reacted to one another. Takeshi closed his eyes and started to meditate, taking this time to reflect on exactly what had happened to gain this injury. This was another habit that was passed down through his fathers strict and linear training. What he needed to do was figure out what he had mis-calculated or mis-judged in order for this to happen. He looked back mentally trying to recap every last detail he could remember. First thing first was he judged the situation; The bear was about to attack Cruxis so he had to get in between the two as fast as possible. Check, next was to.... wait... that was it. He'd thought about his own safety too late compared to what he normally would have done. This gave him even less time then normal to activate his own skill to save him from harm. With that now known, he needed to make sure that he didn't do that again. If it did happen again, things could be much worse for wear.
Once Takeshi opened his eyes, he noticed that there was something on his back. He rolled his shoulders slightly and looked over his should to see the patch of gauze over the wound. There was no stinging to the wound from the gauze, just the natural stinging of his skin being ripped open and his body trying to repair itself. He had heard her ask how he'd gotten the wounds, but Notwen had already answered her question, then afterwards ask how he felt. It seemed like he was given no time to answer the question though as Notwen asked Cruxis how he was doing. He turned his attention to Notwen for a moment to answer his question. "I'm fine, I'm just glad that I was able to get in between the two before anyone got seriously injured." He knew to leave names out of the picture, and figured that Notwen know what he was talking about. Then he turned his attention to the young medic, and giving her a slight bow of gratitude. "Thank you for your help Ms...." He froze for a second just then realizing that he had no idea who this medic was. "I'm sorry... I don't know your name..." He wasn't use to asking people about their personal information like names and such, but it would be something he would quickly get use to as time went on.

Rissa was good at her craft, and had Takeshi's injury cleaned and patched up in no time. With the wound cleaned Cruxis was still positive that his hazarded guess that the Kaguya's bloodline had spared him from worse was not far from the truth. As Notwen explained the mission mishap, Cruxis gave a small sideways glance to the injury again before putting it aside. As Notwen asked him if he was okay, he quickly responded, "I'm fine. I put aside the small talk for a moment is all; it was more important to get Takeshi patched up than to flirt with a pretty brunette." At the pretty brunette comment, he slyly gave a wink Rissa's way, before continuing to Notwen, "I think I have an idea for a new genjutsu thanks to Takeshi's injury though. I'll have to collect data on it and use abit of imagination... but I can probably use that attack against the bears next time they try any funny business!"Truth be told he'd gotten two ideas; firstly to use a direct charge against an opponent by throwing off their perception of location; though this would take more time to research and develop; the other based around Takeshi's wound, the one he'd been referring to. At Takeshi's asking, Cruxis chimed in; "I forgot to introduce you! Some friend I am, eh?" the latter sentence spoken sarcastically, "Takeshi, meet Rissa, Rissa meet Takeshi!", and subconsciously floating up in the air with his bukujutsu he went down the line "Rissa, Notwen! Notwen, Rissa! Cruxis, Notwen! Notwen, Cruxis! Takeshi, Cruxis, Cruxis, Takeshi! Notwen, Takeshi! Takeshi, Notwen!" pointing back and forth between people who had obviously already met one another; his humor was back. Also the distraction of his pointing allowed a slight of hand to slip a note to Rissa in the mild confusion. His grin at the end of the introductions gave her a 'shhh, open it later' signal; though he wasn't too sure if she would pick up on the subtext. When opened the note would ask her if she wanted to meet for breakfast tomorrow at a small pastry cafe downtown he was particularly fond of. Rissa smiled and nodded at the explanation. “ I see... I'm glad no one was injured more seriously. It's true I would technically be out of a job, but I'd prefer that than to seeing a full hospital.” She gave a sweet, endearing smile as she stood relaxed, but ready. It seemed to her that Cruxis was a bit out of it, but then she was distracted by the man she had just treated. “ Oh.... Um-” She had been about to speak, but then Cruxis picked up what she had been about to say, She listened, smiling and giggling a bit as he picked up his more humorous side, rolling tight into it. Still smiling, she flicked the note into her arm warmer and out of sight, intending to read it later. As it was, she was in a much better mood than before, even if she was a lone ninja again. It didn't matter, she'd find a team again, hopefully. Hiding her sudden dimness in mood, she decided to focus on all of the new people. She was always so excited when she got to meet new people, maybe even new friends, and this time was no different, even if this wasn't a particular instance she would have chosen. For now things seemed to have become more stable. Takeshi asked the girl who she was, but just before she had a chance to answer the question Cruxis regained his humor. The prankster went on an introduction spree, pointing back and forth between everyone including himself and saying the names of those he pointed to. It was a very confusing situation for Notwen, who was already partially disoriented due to his responsibilities. In the end, however, he learned the girl's name. Rissa's mood seemed to sink momentarily before she brightened up again, though she did not make any attempts to speak again. She must be shy... thought the dark-skinned blonde, who walked over to Cruxis a few seconds after all the introductions had been made. " I think she's a keeper, if you know what i mean." whispered the Uchiha, slyly nudging Cruxis in the ribs with his elbow. " Watch her, and make your move when the time's ripe." Even though he was exposed to their connection for a short amount of time, Notwen had gathered some clues about the way Cruxis might feel about Rissa. After patting the genin's shoulder twice, Notwen continued. " Now down to business. You need some guidance if you are going to be a tracker. I will take it upon myself to teach you some of what i know. However, it's going to be up to you how you utilize what i teach you." With that said, Notwen proceeded to walk over to Takeshi. " Take it easy and try not to do too much. Refrain from training until the wound closes up completely." Now the three-eyed Chuunin turned to address the small group of genin. " I apologize, but i have a few errands to run right now. I'll catch up to you guys later if i can. Later!" With a wave of his hand Notwen turned and left the scene, heading deeper into the village. What he had said about errands was a half-truth. There were things he needed to do, but the main reason he left was because he felt out of place. As a Chuunin he had to set an example for the up-and-coming genin. It wouldn't look right for a nineteen-year-old to be socializing with younger teens about things of little concern. Notwen also didn't enjoy being in group situations unless they were missions, training, or some task of importance. He wanted to perform tasks with some value to them. I wonder where Nagamichi might be right now... thought the dark-skinned blonde, turning left. He was now headed toward the Irikura manor. If Nagamichi wasn't there Notwen would then head to the only other place the genin could be, the hospital. Quote: Pulling away from the group for a while. Have fun xD

As soon as Takeshi asked his question about the medics name, Cruxis chimed in and started to make the introductions. Then he started to ramble off on more introductions then were actually needed. He had no clue why Cruxis was actually doing this, but knew one thing and that was his reign of silence was no more. Once finished he continued to wonder what the whole introducing everyone in an absured manor was all about but figured it would be best to ignore it for the moment. Once Cruxis was finished, Notwen started to talk to him for a bit. Part of it he didn't catch but the other part was about Notwen helping Cruxis in becoming a good Sensory type shinobi. After that, he turned over and walked towards Takeshi and told him that he shouldn't train until the wound on his back was healed. I've trained with worse wounds before... but maybe a good rest is what I need..... we'll see... He thought to himself. He was so used to training constantly that injuries seemed to very little to slow him down. In fact they actually ended up increasing the intesity of his training. Ether way it would be figured out later. It seemed that Notwen needed to go, so with a wave he left to complete his own agenda. This left Rissa, Cruxis and himself standing in the middle of the village. He looked over to Rissa and bowed slightly again. "Well thank you Rissa for closing up the wounds on my back...." He really wasn't sure what to do next... He was standing with two people he knew little about and he knew that they knew very little about himself. Then it hit him, why not get to know each other? It would keep him from training for a bit anyways. "Um.... if you two have nothing better to do, maybe we can properly get aquainted"

Cruxis had a knack for finding interesting locations, generally speaking he also had a knack for developing interesting pranks as well but he truly was trying to be above childhood pranks. This first of those talents however was extremely useful for locating things to do within cities. He always found it hard to just talk without something happening around him, perhaps habit from his pickpocketing days when he needed something to slip away in; but nonetheless, an interesting activity to break the ice certainly couldn't hurt. "Have you two seen the giant Shogi board downtown yet?" he asked, recalling it used for novices to train chakra control and military tactics. The game itself was not Cruxis's best topic, partially due to his specializing in single focus targeting, which gave him a mild tunnel vision at the big picture army tactics that Shogi offered. It also was a game that involved sacrifice; something Cruxis did not like to think about. It was an honorable notion to never want to have to sacrifice someone to win, but something that both he and his opponent knew was truly impossible to maintain. He stretched his defensive options too far and left no room for offense; and thus had been rated only just above average at Shogi playing; having the intelligence to play the game but not the drive to do what was completely necessary to achieve a win. "I'm not the best at the game mind you, but its pretty nifty to play on the giant board if you've not tried it yet. We can chat on the way there!"Quote: Line Count: Before: 568 + This Post: 16 [+43 int] = New Count: 627

A cool evening breeze stirred up from the east as the last rays of sunlight sunlight vanished behind the surrounding mountains. Lanterns began to be lit all over the place, creating islands of light along the crowding streets of Kumogakure. Notwen sighed as his short moments of relative piece and quiet left and the night crowd began to do whatever it was that they did at these hours. Having lived a bit over a year in the village was not long enough to get completely comfortable with the lay of the land. In contrast to Sunagakure's relatively flat layout, the Hidden Cloud was built around several mountainsides, which were connected by bridges, stairways and cable cars to make travel easier. That combined with the thin air found at that altitude was more than enough for any regular traveler to shorten their stay. Even so, the lay of the land was a decent training ground for any ninja to develop physical strength. The dark-skinned blonde walked into an alleyway between to concrete buildings at the base of a crowded stairway. " Suzume Koumyaku!" he whispered and channeled his chakra to the soles of his shoes. Concentrating, he ignited the chakra so a steady stream of flames propelled him off the ground and up to the ledge that the stairs led to, making sure to avoid the stairs so as to not accidentally burn anyone. Once he had gone past the ledge Notwen cancelled the technique and landed lightly on the balls of his feet. This area was one of the upper middle class residential zones, which contained the manor he was looking for. A few people from the stairway recognized him and sent greetings his way, to which he answered by waving and smiling. " Sensei?" came a Nagamichi's voice from the Chuunin's right. " What are you doing here?" The genin was dressed in a t-shirt, jeans, and ninja sandals. His sword, Hagia du Albae was strapped diagonally across his back. Notwen chuckled at the coincidence of him being found by his student. "I was actually looking for you, but it seems you found me first. Care to accompany me on my nightly rounds?" he asked. Nagamichi seemed to ponder the request, then said, " Sure, i already finished what i needed to do anyway." Notwen cocked an eyebrow. " You went to the hospital already?" Nagamichi nodded in response. " The head doctor allowed me to tend to Gou. His hand is doing much better now that Ailin purified the chakra in it." The Irikura smiled at this. " He should be let out in the next few days." Notwen nodded, happy to hear that his trainee hadn't suffered any severe injuries. " It's good to hear that Gou'll be fine. I was starting to feel pretty guilty." The Uchiha scratched his head as he recalled that morning's events. " Well, let's get going before i get stiff from this draft." " Right!" With that said, the duo took off to the rooftops.

UCHIHA CLAN || YOMONARU UCHIHA || CHAKRA RESERVES: 2500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 1500 To be honest, the cool evening breeze that overtook the vicinity felt extremely nice on bare skin. Yomonaru kept a steady pace, hands occasionally reaching up to his forehead, tinkering with the cloth that held the metal piece that showcased the village's emblem. Eventually however, the Uchiha loosened the knot at the back of his head, dropping the black cloth into his hand before he fastened another knot, albeit this one loose, around his neck, the headband carefully hiding itself beneath Yomonaru's collar. However, whenever it would be needed, the boy could always make sure that it would be shown. "Yomo, do you think that we can become great shinobi like our Raikage is?" Hotaru trailed right beside him, hands clamped on top of his head as he walked. The boy spoke in a quiet whisper, his shyness eradicated for the time being. Yomonaru shook his head slowly, eyes following the ground with every step. "I don't know, Hotaru. Maybe we can be better than the Raikage is now. Or, maybe we won't be anywhere near that level. No sense in worrying about it now though. We're young for a reason." Quickly defusing the question, Yomonaru brought his attention upward, scanning over the people that walked past him. Even for having graduated from the Academy no sooner than an hour ago, he still couldn't help but feel lost. Hotaru had been excited initially, but now that excitement had simmered down into a nonchalant acceptance of the fact. The Uchiha however, it was just another milestone that reaped no reward nor any benefits. Recognition was there, but he didn't care for that. To be quiet, and to blend in, now that was what he anticipated. "Although, we should probably get some training in when we can get the chance. If Ayaka and I are going to be assigned on a team together, then I want to make sure we're not dead weight to anyone who could use our help. We're shinobi after all." Yomonaru's hands slipped into his pockets, eyes turning over to Hotaru. Always so quiet, yet he had a false imagination when it came to the shinobi lifestyle. Yomonaru had already seen it up close, the face value crippling his family. Needless to say, it was something he could be better on without. ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗

MIZU CLAN || AYAKA REI TOMOMI || CHAKRA RESERVES: 1500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 1000 Trailing not too far behind Yomonaru and Hotaru were Ayaka and Tarimi. "Hotaru! Wait up!" Ayaka's follower was only their for that boy but, nonetheless, she was catching up to Yomonaru. As Tarimi yelled, both shinobi halted in their swift motion. Hotaru looked back to the outgoing girl as she waved vigorously at him; then began to approach her, leaving Yomonaru behind. Hotaru and Tarimi socialized as Ayaka and Yomonaru would attempt to have a conversation. They seemed to be outgoing enough for each other, which was fine for Yomonaru and Ayaka, considering the two didn't have to force out their emotions, personalities, and voices to the two as they stayed together. Ayaka let the two reunite as she caught up to Yomonaru, who was much further ahead than where she and Tarimi were. Childhood acquaintances, these two were, only to familiarize themselves to one another in the academy and even more shortly upon leaving. Sensei Yaminaro had mention the possibility of teams for each shinobi group; the two, noticing their likeness as well as Yaminaro's suggestion for them had steadily agreed on taking part in their shinobi lives together. The two sat in silence for the time being, only hearing the slight chatter of the two shinobi behind and the ruffling of the trees and the wind. Ayaka's eyes didn't trail into the young Uchiha's, not for any other reason but she being shy. She looked off multiple times, waiting for Yomonaru's first words but there was nothing but shared silence. In a way, it was soothing that the two were so silence, but in another it was extremely awkward for Ayaka, at the very least. Not being able to hold herself in this awkward situation anymore, "Are we on the same terms?" Ayaka forced herself to say something to the young Uchiha, this barrier of timidness all together would hopefully vanish as the days went on. The two would be recruited together regardless if neither wanted to work together, but the Uchiha's answer would give Ayaka more of a sense to his personality. ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗
