"Of course not! You're more of an infra-red oven conductor coil... perfect for reheating tea," he winked at her as he placed a scone next to the teacup. "I'm sorry, that was rude... would you like a cup of tea?"

The Doctor noted her cranky mood and removed the foodstuffs from her person... granted the tea had already been reheated. He sipped from the cup quite contentedly though he tried to catch her eye.
"Oh come on, a few minutes ago you were complaining about your lack of speech abilities."

He peeked at her from between her fingers.
"This mean we're not talking anymore?" he asked cheekily, "Lovely! I can finally settle down and finish reading all those Narnia books without interruption."

The Doctor grinned at her, knowing he had won.
"There's nothing wrong with Narnia," he said with a fake frown, "It's brilliant! Dragons and centaurs and dwarves living in this HUGE country and all of it, inside a wardrobe that's bigger on the inside... I love it!"

"You don't suppose that the aurthor know's about Time Lords do you?" she said while looking at him cutely. Her side was feeling a lot better now. And she wanted to check it but maybe the Doctor would get grossed out.

He sipped his tea quietly enjoying the dawn.

Ally popped up suddenly "I LOVE TOLKIEN!!!!!" she squeled as all her pain in her side did not seem to affect her.
