"What did I tell you?" Dr. Umada said to Mel. "Come on kid, let's treat that cut." He took out a wet cloth and began to clean away at the blood before taking a better look at the cut. "How in the world do you get something like this? Actually, you know what? I don't care. What's happened, happend. All that matters now is how to treat it" he said as he continued on. "And I won't lie, this will hurt." He began to dab alcohol on the wound to clean it.

Melanie's face softened as she watched Dr.Umada clean Sakoto's cut. That was the Jay she knew. Even in college, every time he did something medicaly you could see something in his face change, when he concentrated on the patient, not just the situation. The thought didn't last for long.
"You're not from around here."
The girls voice startled Mel, but she looked down at Graceling without fear, even though she should have been running. "No, I just got an invite to a party and decided to have a look around. You must live here though."
Graceling shrugged, eyes on the doctor for a moment and then once more on Melanie. Foggy, gray, lifeless but with intelegence. Lacking a soul. She saw the humam shudder, and smiled. "Always have. I probably wont ever leave." And you'll never have a chance to. "Have you seen the bog yet?" Her place, the tag line, dangerous. She flashed a smile, deadly, but cute. "Lots of people get lost there..."

Stallos finished collecting what he need and got and itch on his back. He scratched it and felt something pop. He look at his hand and there was black ichor on it. He looked at his back, there were several cysts on his back. He hurried back to his shed and dropped off the herbs before going to the clinic. He opened the door and saw everybody and walked up to Dr. Umanda and pulled at his coat. "Stallos catch Black plague........ again" He said

[Yep. Today's just not his day xD]
"What the-?" Dr. Umada turned his head to find Stallos tugging at his coat. "Wait your turn like everyone else. Shortstop was here first. Now...Sakoto..." he said in a serious manner, but with an slightly crazed evil smile. "Your cut's going to need stitches, but I need to shave 'some' of your hair off to suture it. Okay?" Of course, he was joking, he needed to have some fun with his patients sometimes. "Kidding. Well, I guess for now, we'll just patch it up, since it's a bit too small to be sutured, but it's also too big for a band-aid obviously." He turned around to let the mechanical arms on his back finish up as he worked on Stallos' problem. "So.... You wanna explain to me how exactly did you get that?"

"Stallos doesn't keep track, remember only the first the time, when bit by a rat........about 700 years ago" he said and scratched his back again and popped another one. He looked at it with a face and just kinda wiped it on Dr. Umada's coat.

Sakoto felt the sting of the alchohal when it went to his wound. "Ow ow ow...." He continued to utter as Umada cleaned his wound. Sakoto started to get scared when Umada was talking about stitches. "What!?" He said in shock, but then realized he was joking. He was then asked about how he got his injury. "Well, Graci-Chan and I were playing tag in the graveyard, jumping over pits and dodging tombstones. I was running away from Graci-Chan since she was it. I was running as fast as I could and so was she. I would have been okay, but I tripped and smashed my head into a tombstone, shattering the rock." He told him.

(sorry. Just wanted to get Sakoto into the story more.)
"I must be an acception since I still like you and love the fact that I'm now half demon." He said as he twirled the magical jar around. "Would other demons actually try to take my soul even if I am part demon? Would that make me full demon or...?" Nicholas didn't know how to end the sentence so he didn't.

"And that's why I like you!" Faye said hugging on to Nicholas again. "But I dunno. I'm not a demon expert. I don't have demon blood so I don't know how they work really or what their take on souls is."

Nicholas cheeks turned bright red when Faye started to hug him. "Well um... do you know anyone who is? I mean, that Sakoto kid might come after me if I'm not careful." Nicholas said starting to worry. "I mean, he does have that huge cleaver on him."

"It's a small town, everyone knows each other here, except for the new arrivals. I'll make sure Sakoto stays away from you if it makes you feel better." Faye said giving him a smile.

(lol, Mel and Umada Drama Bomb about sums it up, doesn't it? I wonder how she'll react when it hits her that her life is now ruined... like his. smile )
Melanie was a bit startled by the little girls description of the bog, but figured it was for her benifit as a patron of the town. With Stallos in the clinic it was getting crowded, and hard to hear over the different conversations, so she barely made out certain parts. 'Shattering the Stone' Sakoto had said. '700 years ago, Black Plauge' Said Stallos. They were really going through a lot of trouble, and good makeup. The stentch from the boils was definatly realistic enough, and mixed with the after effect of the ciggarette smoke, Mel gagged.
Looking like it was her chance, despite the almost obvious claim Umada had to the human girl in his clinic, Graceling smiled sweetly and layed it on pretty thick. "Well, do you think you want to see the bog? It's Really cool... To die for, actually!"

Saito was off drinking herbal tea in a secluded area. He knew there were humans in town. It was that time of year. Once he was finished his tea, he would go investigate. He enjoyed torturing them and eating their flesh and organs.

Sakoto heard the conversation with Graceling and Mel. "The bog?! I wanna go Graci-Chan! The bog is a great place to play games!" He said finishing off with another "Ow ow ow..." From the pain.
"I just want to know. I don't mind him being around me if he won't. Thanks for the protection though." Nick said with a light smile
