Sephiroth's hand merely went up to case a quick M. Barrier spell against the beam thing Jenova sent, his eyes then going to Fenris, his eyes narrowing a bit, before he raised his right arm, The Black Materia appearing there, able to summon a smaller version of Meteor, but yet t would tear through any barrier like the true one "do it, and you'll go with her" He said, his will not wavering a bit at any of this, "And should you attempt to run, know that it will be a futile effort" He said seriouly

Jenova's form lifted into the air, much like before as to be a distance away from Sephrioth's weapon. Not that she was afraid, but she didn't need anymore troubles on her hand right now. "Foolish child..." She muttered in Sephiroths mind.

Fenris eye'd the silver-haired warrior, a almost bored look upon his face as he grinned. "Is that so? Then...I'll accept you're challenge..Come, Find us..Will you look for me before I end this one, or stay to protect the Cetra there? Mm? Oh, choices...choices.." The darkness swirled around his form, flowing around both figures before they both just disappeared into the dark mist. If Sephiroth was able to detect any pressence, he would feel there own fade away from this world..Only to appear on that of another..
Jenova meanwhile, took this moment of distraction to send another beam out, directed toward Ariel..

"Ocean's Embrace!" cried the voice of a young male followed by an unnaturally strong wave of water that suddenly formed a round shell over Ariel's body, shielding her from that beam attack. The blue haired boy ran over in front of Ariel and muttered another incantation under his breath, quickly tracing a strange glyph in the air with his quill, "Icicle Rain!" Multiple razor sharp icicles shot out from the glyph he'd traced, all aimed at the strange woman.
Renka hoped that swordsman saw he was there to help..he wasn't too great at close combat and there was no way anyone less then an expert could use a sword like that, it wouldn't turn out good... He was quite worried about Ariel right now, but not letting himself take his eyes off the enemy even for a second. Deciding to try to take the killing intent away from his only friend.. "Well....aren't you a sad old hag... couldn't handle fighting a kid without backup?" he taunted with a slight sneer, it didn't matter if he got a bit injured as long as he got her attention away from Ariel..

Jenova's form turned toward the young blue haired teen. This wasn't the one she expected to see, though no matter it was a friend of hers.And anyone that had to do anything with the Cetra's were here enemy. When Ariel was protected by the boy's most unque barrier, a scowl could be heard in his mind. In this form, she couldn't quite speak normally, but she could in there minds. He had got exactly what he wished for, as her attention was fully set on Renka now! Though the razor sharp shards of icicles struck her in various parts of her body, the creature still remained. Her movements were slightly slower, but still she showed no signs of leaving so soon. This couldn't happen -every- time he tried to take someone's life!
The disfigured creature began to give off a slight red glow at it's forehead once again. It was gathering a much stronger version of it's laser beam attack which was directed on the young boy. "I could very well the child on my own. I can't complain when my own 'partner' shows up to show my love on..taking lives.." Her voice spoke into his mind, she had a highly sarcastic and cold tone in her voice. Fenris wasn't exactly a partner but someone she was simply using!

At least he got her attention...which made him feel slightly satisfied that his silver tongue could be used to help protect someone for a change. As the beam attack charged Renka quickly put up a weak barrier around himself, not wanting to take power away from the shield around Ariel. Sure that meant letting himself get a bit injured from that laser strike, but he was trained to deal with pain. The voice in his head was unexpected, but it didn't take him off guard, there were plenty of beasts back home that couldn't speak like humans did.
"....really? I don't know grandma...just doesn't seem like you've got what it takes.. Honestly my little sister can hit harder then that." he taunted again, with a faint grin this time to see how much this woman-creature would allow before getting sloppy with fighting. Renka traced a different glyph in the air and muttered a short incantation, "Demon Lance..." he finished, the glyph vanished and six just like it reformed in a ring above the woman-creature, black lances shooting out of each one at her.

Jenova made no comment back to the rowdy boy, she could almost sense he was only trying to take her attention from the girl by his rough words, though even as she sensed it she did keep her eyes locked right on the blue haired teen.A red aura like glow illuminating off it's body as the beam suddenly flared out into Renka's direction!
But! Just as the massive, most deadly beam would strike his weaker shield, Ariel suddenly rushed to his side, pushing him straight out of the way! The beam struck the ground just where he was standing, causing another explosion that would cause havoc on there hearing, as it was as loud as a bomb going off right near them. The blast alone would have sent them flying had it not been for his shield and the one placed on her to protect them. She didn't want her best friend to end up hurt as Phoenix was from that very same attack, when it ripped through her barrier.
Just then, tentacles shot out from her 'hands' and all began to rush toward Renka.Rather it grabbed him or not, the creature suddenly screamed as the the lances came out of no where from above, Jenova didn't see them! Each struck the creature, one slamming right through her body, almost slicing it in half. Her body splitting! At the very bottom if they had looked closer, they would see her body regenerating it self. This, was the very cause of her being so impossible to kill. The bad thing was, it took a lot of energy from her to do this.As the process had finished, she struck out razor claws that extended toward the boy, intent on wrapping them around his neck and pull him closer toward her.

"It makes no difference..." Sephiroth "You will rot" [Focused Blade]
Uses Peerless swordsmanship to deliver precise strikes.  "I will... Never be a memory" Sephiroth seemed to grin slightly when the man left "I won't be following youi" he said, Fenris didn't seem to realize who exactly he was messing with by doing that to Phoenux... His little 'barrierr' would rue the day he pissed of Nero! For now he needed to focus on his 'mother; he turned towards the ground suddenly vanishing and reappearing in front of Renka, knocking the claws away with a slash then getting ready for an attack "that's enough..." he then just... Went straight through Jenova! Aoppearing on the direct other side of her, what no one would see is the dozens of slashes he had made all well placed at that while he passed her! He was like the ultimate samurai or something! "I am with you now..."

Jenova's body seemed to flare out into all kinds of strange forms, the tentacles as long as twenty feet would then lash out in attempt to capture Sephiroth, Renk and Ariel in them. Those tentacles, once they had there targets would burst into 1 foot long spikes to pierce through there flesh if it was able to grab them. Though, Sephiroth's sudden attack on it caused them to reel back a moment, the form of Jenova giving off strange, eerie sounds as though in pain.Jenova was still recovering from the lances that pierced through her body yet,and was greatly weakened by the regeneration.

 Renka Tear
Renka was stunned, both from Ariel knocking him aside to protect him from that beam attack and also that the malformed creature was still alive and trying to regenerate. He had to admit it's regeneration was better then Kai's..but still lower then their father.. The eerie sounds it made annoyed Renka enough to snap him out of his momentary stunned stupor and get on his feet again, making sure he as between the creature and Ariel..preparing to attack again, but stopped as he heard a woman's echo-y voice..
"O celestial choir, the light of redemption...
♪Croa riou croa neu tue rei croa riou ze rei va♫"
The song somehow made a large golden glyph below the malformed creature, gathering energy for a few seconds before it burst into energy in the shape of a cross. A young woman walked into view and glanced at the man with long silver hair then the two teens, "Are any of you injured?" she asked before shifting her gaze back to where the creature was, unsure if it was still alive.

There was also another pair of eye's watching the group, which she had also sensed but didn't quite see yet. With Fenris gone, and now having four people against her it wasn't looking like a win situation! Best thing for her to do would be to retreat tell another time. If only she could get rid of all of them, in one single attack. Like wait tell the lot of them are in the mansion and then attack! Kill them all and then have everything come easy to her to destroy and kill off the planet.A low growl that sounded almost demonic escaped the creatures throat when the energy of a formed crossed burst from under her. She wasn't quite a demon, so the holy energy wouldn't do as much damage as it may have done to something fully demonic. But it did scare her off enough to leave the place. But before that! She sent off one last hopeful beam to strike the entire party before the creature flew up suddenly, only to disappear into a dark mist like form, her presence gone from the area....
Ariel stood up,giving off a small sigh. What a bothersome creature! She looked to Renka apologetically for knocking him back before, hoping she didn't hurt him. She just knew that if she didn't, he would be in a lot more pain! "Are you okay? " She also had to ask, before turning to the new figure. A small nod came from the teen. "I'm alright..Who are you?" Again, she looked to Renka, then to Sephiroth..
(( Out of idea's of what to do. lol. Making this her exit I guess! ))

Never be a memory" Sephiroth seemed to quite effortlessly dodge the tenticles sent to him, not like he was really matched in speed after all! Once the last deperate beam was sent to them, Sephiroth just slashed it, dispursing it, giving a slight glance over his shoulder to the group, before beginning to walk, Masamune held backwards "You need to return to your home" he said simply, directed at Ariel, before a purplish light, seemingly from the sky, came down gently to his form, and as it faded, so did he... "I am with you now..."

Renka glanced from the strange woman back to Ariel, seeing that look in her eyes, "Man...I finally find you again and it's trouble..." he sighed out before gently resting a hand on her shoulder, "..I'll help.." he smiled faintly. Again he looked at the woman as she came closer, "Thanks for earlier miss...I'm Renka and she's Ariel.."
"Tear Grants.." she looked between the two teens, "You seem..busy...could you tell me where I could find a village, could you?"
The merman was glad the woman got his subtle glare, she might have helped with a strange spell, but he wasn't sure who she was.. "Better yet miss, I'll send you to one.." she said happily before casting a transport spell on Tear and sending her to Edge.
Renka looked back to Ariel, "So where are these Ancients you want to talk to?" he wondered.

Ariel gave him a small playful grin. "Yes, trouble and I get along really well! " Her deep blue-green eye's rested on Renka as she looked up at him.A thought had come to mind, now that she was with him she could ask him the greatest question of all time! Regardless of it not being the very best time but it was Ariel! "Hey, Renka...You wanna be a pirate? I joined with some awesome pirates, The captains name is Cardiff, and the ship is Cardiff Rose. We went to tons of tropical islands and searched for treasures. We can -really- treasure hunt with them...when this is all over, would you want to come with me? They're good friends too.Kaden has trust issues, but he'll get over it!" She then paused a moment as she looked to the women, Tear. "Hello Tear.." She smiled, just before she was ported away!
"Hee-hee.. Renka teleportation, for all you're traveling needs!" She joked,a soft little laugh escaping as she turned away, motioning for him to follow along. "Well, this place was once where the Anicents lived.There all gone now, but..Only us Cetra seem to be able to still communicate with them through the planet..I can hear them, almost all the time but here it's clearer, and I can actually understand what there saying." She said as they came across a broken structure that went around slightly until the other half was completely broken off. Inside were many circler button-like objects surrounding it inside the structure. "It works best here.." Ariel placed her hand upon the structure, closing her eyes as she began to speak in her mind to them.. "Umm.....I need some help..You know of Kaden, right? He's been taken and my friend and I want to go save him but don't know where he is...Can you tell me? "

Renka had to grin and shake his head at that first comment of hers, Ariel was definitely an interesting girl...troublesome, but interesting and amusing. The question about becoming a pirate made him raise a brow, "You were serious about being a pirate...and you really became one?" he wondered aloud, probably should have been surprised but it was Ariel he was talking to. "..uh...sure..then I could help you all find underwater treasures too.." he answered with a smile, though he wasn't sure about how Kaden would react..but he did hope that maybe if he helped rescue the dragon-guy then he might give Renka another chance.
At Ariel's joke he grinned and rubbed the back of his neck before following the girl and listening to her. Even to his that seemed like quite the special gift, especially if these ancients had the information she needed.
