Quote: Roll 2- If you roll a 26-100, you pass and can go on to round three. (RP meeting the below obstacle) Awwh you made it past the little imp with no troubles! You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. ) A boulder? "Sup." No, a talking boulder. Good grief. "Tell me a story and I'll let you pass." Carry was dumbstruck. Well snot-on-a-stick, she didn't know storytelling would be part of the test! The demon started to pace and her mind went blank. She couldn't even come up with a funny story from childhood! She wracked her brain for even the lamest story she could come up with just to please the strange talking boulder. "There was a boy who found a spare coin while walking home that he picked up and thus named his 'lucky coin'. Almost home, he passed the most hideous and foul smelling creature begging for change. Not wanting it to follow him, he gave it the coin and watched as his lucky coin changed the creature into the most lovely being he had ever seen. And then it died." She blinked. "...that's kind of sad." "Yeah, it kind of is.""You can pass." "Umm... thank you?"

Quote: Roll 3- If you roll a 51-100, you pass and can go on to round four. (RP meeting the below obstacle) You hear a deep rumbling growl of something near you. It sounds as if the noise is in the pathway next to you... but after pausing and holding your breath, you can somehow tell the creature has sensed you and is looking for a way to get over to you. A flash of white and red through the foliage of the maze tells you its something large... and mean. ( If you roll a 51-100, you pass the creature after hauling some tush away. If you roll a 1-50... The creature gets around the maze somehow and chases you out. ) She rounded a corner and was face to face with a very large and angry creature. Shrieking for her life, she fled the maze. Way to fail there, bucko...

Deacon was up early this morning, and decided a nice start to the day would be a walk in Byrn's maze before attending classes. Which might turn into more of a run, results depending... But he was up for the risk.

Rolled 56 Roll 1 - If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle) Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.) Sighing lightly as the imp yet again came out into his path, Deacon reached down to pull the splinter from the little thing's foot. "You know, I'm beginning to wonder if you're not just a masochist or something..."
Apparently, he wasn't worth answering. The imp simply laughed at him and darted off into the bushes. Deacon continued on his way.

After a failed attempt to pass, he was denied. Grumbling a curse, Deacon turned to make a hasty exit before something with sharp teeth found him after he'd been standing in one spot for too long.

A few days later, Astra returned to the Classroom and stood before the maze once again. This time she hoped to progress further into the maze, perhaps even get to the end. Carefully she ventured forth into the maze

The first challenge was easy enough. She remember the imp from last time, so this time she just glared at him. "As if I'm going to help you again!" she poked her tongue out and continued on her way.

Once she reached the boulder, She paused to think of another riddle she could use. Eventually she used the 'nothing' riddle, and it seemed to do the trick as the bolder moved out of her way. Now for the next part...

This was the farthest she had gotten the last time, so Astra was quite nervous as she ventured into the next part. As soon as she ventured towards the middle, she heard the growling beast and could see the flashes of white and red. With a squeak she took to the air and flew onto the next part of the maze. She was so close...

"Ahh! I made it!" She cheered, seeing the bucket of scareon balls ahead of her. She rushed towards the bucket, landing next to it The fairy eyes sparkles with michief and glee. 'There are so many..." She reached out to take one, but then was startled by the presence of..
oh holy crap that thing was HUGE!
Again, Astra screamed, and was forced to flee for her life unable to retrieve her price. She was going to be smarting about this for weeks...

It couldn't be that hard right? They were only first years after all. Once he entered, he saw a little green imp, who, noticing the newcomer in the maze, began to whine for help. He wasn't] cruel, so he knelt down and removed the splinter from the imp's foot. "Be careful, alright. Splinters are annoying, and they can get infected if they stay in too long." He smiled at the imp, and then moved on, heading deeper into the maze.

He could do this, right? He came upon a very strange rock, one that talked and moved, but after that whole adventure in Christmas Land, not much surprised Myr anymore. He thought for a moment, trying to remember a riddle. Any riddle. "Feed me and I Live, Give me Drink and I die. What Am I?" It was an easy riddle really, but it proved to be too much for the stone, and it moved aside to let Myr pass. "Thanks." There was no reason to be rude, even if it was there to potentially keep him from moving on.

That didn't stop the creature from sensing him, and he could barely see a flash of red and white through the wall of the maze. This was a good time to run, and run he did, dashing around the maze in a direction that would take him away from the beast.

Quote: Roll 4- If you roll a 76-100, you WIN. (RP meeting the below obstacle, roll a 6 sided die on this post so i can see which scareon you win) FINALLY! You made it to the end and you can see the little purple ball things sitting in a large metal bucket at the heart of the maze. A animal skin with a horse skull is sitting next to it... strange, but you take it as decor. As you approach though... you hear a whistling sound and suddenly feel like your being watched. Closer you go... as you try and reach out for one of the prizes, the horse head and skin somehow disappear... and behind you is a LARGE and angry ghost horse staring at you with large glowing green eyes. Rearing backwards it charges as you. ( If you rolled a 76-100, then you manage to grab one of the pokeballs before being chased out of the maze by the ghost horse... if you roll a 1-75, the ghost horse just chases you out empty handed.)
