The boss led her down the hall, past the chattering Joshua and Zestitnik. " Thank you, Joshua. Your reward will come soon." He smiled, and continued walking.

A group of shinigami flew around the city. " he's not over here!" One shouted to another, they nodded and kept on going.
--- Nadia landed right infront of the box, her arms clutching her ribs. She looked up and saw the boss her arms outstretched a fierce lok upon her face. " No, I won't let you take her." She said firmly to the boss.

Joshua looked from Zestitnik to Nadia and the boss. " I- I want others to care for me, but I'm scared." He said to Zestitinik, as he flew over to Nadia aiding her from falling over.

Myth kept her head down until she noticed some familier shoes. She looked up. "Zestitnik?" she whispered, stopping. She watched as he walked over and stood next to Joshua. "Joshua..? Nadia?" Myth asked. Her eyes widened as she realised what they were doing.
Sabutaro sighed when the shinigami left. Myth... he thought suddenly. "That's it! I don't care what happens to me, or even about the promise I made. I swore I would protect her and that's that." he said to himself as he went back to the shinigami world.
Zestitnik smiled as he stepped next to 'Josh.' "The best way to make a friend is to be a friend." he said out of the corner of his mouth as he, too, blocked the boss's way, "Think of Sabutaro. He's almost always in a friendly mood, and always willing to make friends. But I know for a fact that he was scared at the beginning like you. But now he has plenty of friends, amazing, right?" He then looked at the boss. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you take Myth either. I... I was her first partner, and," he grinned, "Many things wouldn't have happened without her!" he said.

The boss snickered at all of them. " Nadia? That's strange of you. Why the sudden change of heart? You told me you would do nothing to stop you from obtaining them, as long as you and Joshua were safe." The boss told them. Nadia shook her head.
" I'm not like that anymore! I want to-- I want to be an angel, just like Ryuho!" She shouted, falling over slightly more. Lucky, Joshua was holding her up.
" You too, Joshua?" He asked. Joshua looked from Zestitnik and back to the boss. Everyone had courage, why not him? Why was he so afraid to be close to others, except Nadia? Suddely his head thumped as thoughts came to his mind. Stumbling upon the dead Nadia. Looking out into the fog when his little sister died. His scar on his lower back of his first attempter suicide. His jumping infront of a large train, his small cap fluttering to the ground. He knew the awnser now. It was because he had always been alone.
" I-- I don't know." He said truthfully. Nadia looked up at him, a pleading look in her face. But he only glanced away. Nadia looked back down. The boss looked from them all.
" Nadia and Zestitnik, I am issuing your release from the shinigami relam, to go back to where you came from Nadia, and for you Zestitinik to exceprience what Nadia and Joshua did for almost a decade." The boss said. Terrified, Nadia looked back up.
" NO! You can't! You-- You just can't." She cried. She had no body to return to, so she would go back to being a ghost. She sacrificed everything to become a shinigami.
" Watch me." He said, and with this he grabbed Myth's arm and pulled her over to the other direction.

"MYTH!" Zestitnik yelled as he ran forward and grabbed Myth's hand. He tried to pull her away from the boss, but the boss was stronger than Zestitnik, obviously, and Zestitnik couldn't pull her away.
Myth looked pleadingly at Zestitnik. Wanting him to just give up, and not cause suffering in the future. "Please... don't..." she said, begging him with her eyes.
"JOSH! Help me!" Zestitnik said as he started to loose his grip on Myth. "Don't you want to help her? To help your friend?" he asked. He held on as long as he could, even when Myth started to hurt from being streatched.
'Now I know what it feels like to be the teddy bear between two bickering children...' she thought jokingly.

Nadia stood back up, her stregnth returning to her. She walked over to the Boss, who hand was grasped on Myth's small arm.
" I don't have much time left, till I use all my powers. But, if this last bit is to save a friend I'll do it. Myth if you wanna know the truth, just ask Sabutaru. He knows." She smiled. And then with a small glimpse of a few cherry blossom petals falling to the ground, a bright light came around Myth and made the boss's grasp loosen, just enough for her to pull her arm out. But, Nadia was gone.
Joshua looked around for Nadia, his eyes praying to see her pretty face. Seeing she was good as gone, he clenced his fist togehter.
" YOU! You lied to me! You said NO MATTER WHAT, Nadia and I would remain safe!" He yelled, his two weapons re-appearing in his arms. " I HATE YOU!" He shouted., charging at the boss.

Sabutaro suddenly appeared there RIGHT at that time, and ended up catching the shinigami (Myth) that Zestitnik threw back at him.
Zestitnik looked at Joshua, trying to find a solution to this crap-covered problem. He shook his head and ran after Joshua as fast as he could, which let him catch up quickly. He grabbed a hold of Joshua's shoulder and tried to stop him. "JOSH!" he yelled, grabbing a hold of his waist when his hand fell of the shoulder.
Myth looked up at Sabutaro. "Sa...bu..." she said before fainting from exauhstion (I can't spell) and stress. Sabutaro held her in his lap closely, silently making sure she was all right.
(I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY FOR NOT GETTING ON FOR THREE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a lot of end-of-the-year projects... -_-'' and lately it's been harder and harder to concentrate on my other homework... so if I don't get on a lot, don't be amazed...)

(( Ah, no problem. I was wondering what was up. XD))
Joshua struggled to get Zestitnik. " No! Not until I find out what happened to her!" Joshua snarled, trying to get near the boss, who in return just stood there, a smirk upon his face.
" Are you going to hit me Joshua? Can you really do that?" He asked him, outstretching his hand. " Come, we'll go get your Nadia back. But in return I want a price." He bargined. Joshua stopped struggling.
" What? I'll do anything!" He begged, tears now falling down his fragile face, his blonde hair mangled from trying to attack The Boss.
" You. You cannot talk to any other shinigami agian, only Nadia and I." He offered. " Oh, and Nadia too." He smiled. Joshua looked around, and then softly pushed Zestitnik of of him, outstretching his hand towards the boss, where it struggled in the air making sure he knew what he was doing, and then he grabbed his hand. " Good Josh." He smirked at Zestitnik, and then Joshua and the Boss disappeared.

"Damn you, Josh..." Zestitnik mumbled as he hit the floor as hard as he could with his fist. He sighed and hung his head. What to do now...? he thought pathetically.
"Z... Are you okay?" Sabutaro asked from where he and Myth where.
Z... ah... yes... that's Sab's nickname for me, isn't it... Zestitnik thought as he looked up at Zestitnik. "I'm fine, Sabutaro... Come'n... le's get Myth outta' here..." he said, helping Sabutaro pick up Myth so that they could go to Zestitnik's home in the shinigami world.

(( I'm going to bring a third shinigami into this, too!))
After searching for hours, Joshua and the Boss found Nadia, resting as a spirt in where, strangley Joshua had found her dead. In the creek, under the bridge. He held her as the Boss increased her back to the shinigami form.
" Thank you, Boss." Joshua thanked, as now Nadia had returned, sleeping in his very arms. She stirred slightly and then let out a sigh as she slept on. He nodde turning around.
" Just remember are deal." He reminded Joshua, leaving him and Nadia alone in the creek. Joshua looked at her, and for some odd reason made them visual to passing humans. He pulled her hair back as he sat there, waiting for her to wake up.

Rena sat on the walls, kicking her feet slightly to her humming as her small panda ears perked up. Her short blonde hair blew in the wind, as her brown, almond-shaped eyes studied the shouting from the Shinigami Bosses' room. She flew over, not fast because she didn't care, but was only curious to see. And then she saw Zestitnik and Sabutaru, caring a fragile sleeping Myth away. She stared, puzzled for a moment.
" What-- What's going on here?" She asked, flying upside down above Myth, her black, knee-legnth shorts fluttering out sorta as it's chain drifted down. She wore black boots and white knee socks, and her shirt was an off-white color that was long sleeve, with a small hood in the back. She had two black lines, flowing to the temple of her head and stoping at her hair line, and large gash on her throat.

"Hi, Rennie..." Zestitnik said as he stopped, causing Sabutaro to stop too. "Nothing's going on here... Myth here just fell asleep, so we're taking her back to my place, Wanna help out?" He then remembered that Rena and Sabutaro had not met yet... "This is Sabutaro, by the way, Sab's, Rena." He quickly introduced the two.
Sabutaro's monkey ears twitched for a second as he heard Rena's name. He didn't know why, but they did. He smiled, "I suppose I can't really shake your hand at the moment, can I?" he joked, not wanting to hint how worried he was of his friend and partner.

It's okay." She said, grabbing the her hands. She never let
anyone see her hands, because she wore black and red gloves. She tucked her hair behind her ears, her panda ears twitching as Sabutaru's did. She smiled faintly. For someone so unique she was pretty, and charming, but her temper got the better of her sometimes. She looked at Myth.
" Was she really tired?" She asked, floating down, landing her boots with a soft thump on the ground.

(Sure! But Zestitnik is usually partners with new shinigami, at least until they decide they can handle it on their own...And it's okay, trust me... I have a LOT of projects... on was due monday, on due thursday, one due in a week, all worth quite some points too... -_- I feel your pain...)
Zestitnik grinned, "Yeah, she was... Sab, didn't you and Myth have quite a couple assignments today?"
Sabutaro nodded, still trying to appear happy, although Nadia and Joshua now where who-knows-where... He turned back to Zestitnik, "Where's your house, Z?" he asked, wanting to let Myth rest normally soon... and to avoid the stares they were getting from some wandering shinigami...

Rennie turned upside-down and stared at Sabutaru. " I can show you. Didn't you know I'm his partner?" She asked cheerfully, zooming ahead to show him where his house was. It was true, she was his partner but Zestitnik only was partners with the new comers. To be truthful, Rena had gotten a hand of everything in the new world she was apart of, but a small crush she had on him made her pretend she was un-easy about it all. But she knew soon she would have to make due on her own.

Sabutaro looked at Zestitnik questionly, and when he nodded, he started following Rena with Myth and Zestitnik. "How long've you been been partners?" Sabutaro asked the two of them at the same time.
"Heh Heh..." Zestitnik said innocently, "I sorta lost count... I've had WAY too many partners by now!" He smiled in almost a 'sweatdrop' like way...
