Kei shivered as Daton arrived, he had not expected the presence of the man nor did h e for see it because he was looking towards his own future. He listened to the story, it had not surprised him because he knew that there had been something different about Hokyo. He could never see the man’s past for some reason, just as he could never see Daton’s and the power of premonition was generally one of the most powerful ones there. He had looked into his own past and found he could go into a past life if he wanted to but it took up a lot of power and that was not something he wished to share at this time. He waited patiently till the end of Daton’s story and slowly he lowered his gaze, the gloss remaining over his eyes. “ I have seen many things m’lord. Some terrify me to the core. For one, I have no future at this current time. Perhaps that was what frightened him the most. He was never stuck in the dark like he was at this very moment. Every choice he made led to a future of black and nothingness.
He closed his eyes and they returned to normal before he looked up at Daton. “Next, he’s changed. There is no surprise here but I can feel him growing stronger…. I got him to touch me and absorbed some of his power. It’s painful, almost like it is rejecting me.” He could hide thigns from Dark with no problem but from Daton he would hide nothing, not at this particular junction in his life.
“And third, he is gathering people around him. But what I find about these people, some of them know of their past selves. A woman I saw particularly knows, the way she interacted with this Ameena person, she knows of her past life.”
He moved to Daton’s side and gave a low bow. “Last, during our game, he passed out. He spoke to himself and the curse you placed upon him was revoked. Lord From that moment I could feel others with him but then nothing. I think… no I know we have to move soon me’lord the future does not look bright.” ____________________________ Yune realized her own mistake and bowed her head apolitically. “No I only say that you should be yourself. He doesn’t look one to frighten easily.” she offered a little smile and led the woman across the small clearing and onto a dirt road. From where they stood they could see the temple. It was rather large so not seeing it would have to be a feat of a blind man. She placed her hands behind her body once more and wlkaed a little ahead of kira. “Where is gizmo?” Yune had heard the woman call the plush’s name before so she knew his name and there for she would ask. After all it did seem like he had been gone a while and so was Ray. Where the could have done was beyond her but she actually didn’t know. Ray was blocking her mind from Yune and there for she was unaware of what was going on. She didn’t like it thought because the power she was feeling on her mind was more than enough to upset her. _______________________________ Kohikri could only smirk at his brilliance and leaned back as he placed his hands behind his head. “That’s’ how we do it. When his voice starts to fade sprinkle the dust and water on him and it will come back. Once that is all gone, his voice should be all his own and we merely have to break the curse on his form. But he’ll have to be under constant surveillance when it comes to getting his body back.” He knew that when it came to the body he would have to travel with the plush for a while but he didn’t want to leave his home, He had no reason to.
Ray smiled a little and lifted her bag from one of the many shadows. She opened it and removed the necklace that Yunari had received as a gift from the plush and Kira. “Night, you are a sweet heart for giving this to my sister, but we can not have such possessions. It is against our personal rule. So if you don’t mind I’m going to give it to Kohikri here as payment.” The little man should know that nothing in this world was free, epically when dealing with a witch.

Sheena nodded listening to Ameena, but then she brought her hand up and placed it above her chest, "My lady...while I do agree in finding it so that it can be protected, but...there is something that concerns me about all of this..." she held out her hand in front of her, "I know that I am the first half-maiden...but...even so, I find that I have a power that neither humans, nor Sea Maiden's possess..."
It was something that Sheena had been thinking about for a long time. She always wondered where the Water Orb was, if her people were protecting it, then why hadn't she seen it. It had all to do with how she was the only one to get away from both of her homes where no one else survived. "My lady...with all that has happened to me...I fear that...I might be the Water Orb..."

The Capital
Daton sat there and glanced at Kei when he was telling him the details of his trip to the rebel’s base. Collecting fellow members, it was truly just like a thousand years ago. Sitting there for a moment he sat in silence no future for Kei. “If I told you the other person to worry about is our dear Dark, what would that future lead to?” He said with a tone of interest.
Dark looked oddly at Daton but remained silent, this was all too much to handle. “Kei do you believe in gods?” He asked with a note of interest, but he didn’t wait for a answer and waved his hand and a protection of a younger man appeared to stick out of Daton, the boy had soft blue eyes, silk brown hair and was wearing a bear coat around his lower half, and a bow on his upper half.
“This is Wento, the god of nature, or at least nearly three thousand years ago, this god is no longer in heaven as neither of his brothers as they were tricked by the sun god, Shin, and in haste their sister the goddess of Shindi made them mortal to save their souls.” He spoke in a puzzled state, but found a note of interest in Dark, he wondered if he would remember. The image faded like dust before Daton.
“The three sky gods, were placed on this world to continue to be reborn until proven that they were worthy of returning to the heavens, to do what free Shin from the prison they placed him on the sun, and these gods swore revenge against him, but the oldest of the three grew tired of the mindless battle and fell in love with mortal woman, her name was Ameena but a thousand years ago the Angelic race were still a thriving nation, and took that beautiful woman and offered her up the sky god Shin, draining her blood.” He chuckled a little, about the whole tale it was a sad tale, but mostly only due to the fact of which it concerned a man.
“The man swore revenge against Angelic race, but this was not in the plans to return to heaven, so the two other brothers sought out to kill the man, in order for him to be reborn and continue to get his throne back in heaven, but things don’t go as planned.” He spoke as though Dark and Kei were no longer there, it was just the silence of his voice against the wind.
“Kei you see no future because there is no future for any of us, Hokyo, the girl Ameena, you, me. The world of Shindi has gotten tired of waiting for her children to return home, and speak with them one last time, so sooner then you know she will stop turning, the sun will fade and the sky will let us fall out of the world.” He spoke calmly for such a thing, it was odd to hear as though he was explaining something he had always known. Dark stood there, in the back of his mind he felt something tingle, some forgotten memories, but soon when Daton mentioned a end of the world his mind forced, he didn’t know how to respond. What was the point in telling them this? To frighten them? What could they possibly do to stop this.
Red Rebels
Ameena sat there and listened to Sheena for a second, the idea of the water orb turning itself into a human like being would explain how it had avoided Daton for so long, it would’ve only been a matter of time if Daton thought he could capture it with a simple flick of his wrist, but in human form he had no control over it.
“Do you feel as you believe this? Or is it the fact that you have survived for so long? It could be you’ re luck is that good.” She spoke slowly attempting to figure out which of these could be the reason that Sheena thought it was true.

Sheena thought for a moment before she answered, "I do not know for sure...but it would explain a lot of things. That out of all of the Sea Maidens, I was the only one they tried to save. The same with my human home, my Father and the others made sure that I was hidden and safe..."
She then sighed looking down, "Daton...I wonder if he realizes the true power of the Orb. It controls all the water, not just the water around us, but the water within us as well..." she then stood up, "I...think I will go find Hokyo...the pulsing in my chest grows stronger when he is around. I believe that if anyone should be in possession of the Water Orb, it should be him," her expression then became sad as she thought If I truly am the Water Orb...what will happen when it is removed from me...?

Ameena nodded a bit to Sheena. She sat there for a moment watching as the woman walked away. "Sheena, if anyone should be in control of the Water Orb, I believe it is you, those people did not just do it to save the Orb, they did it because they cared for you." She said after the woman, she felt like the woman was far too worried about finding a answer then realizing people care for one another.
Hokyo laid there watching as clouds went over head. This was the first time that he had gotten to himself since he took Esta, the other time he felt like he had to be so formal and right now he felt finally relaxed.

Sheena stopped for a moment and looked back at Ameena, "I do believe it was for the Orb...and not for me. Why would they risk all of their lives, including their loved ones, so that a half-maiden could live? No..." Sheena then smiled sadly at Ameena, "I know that if it was the choice, between the Water Orb and my own life, I know which would be chosen..."
A few tears slipped past her eyes and flowed down her cheeks. The tears glistened and glittered as they fell. "And I know...that I would rather give up my own life if it meant that their sacrifices wouldn't be in vain," she wiped her eyes to stop the tears from falling, "I am sorry, my Lady...that I am letting the sea fall from my eyes..."

Ameena smiled kindly at Sheena. “It’s alright Sheena, one day I may need to cry and I know I can confide in you.” She spoke with honesty, but she didn’t feel like it was right, she had been raised that no matter the power or the object a person’s life was to be put above it. If she had to decide Hokyo and the Red Kingdom, she would choice him. A force of people can be made again under a different name, power can be regained. Life is limited.
Sitting there she noticed that she was one of the few people left at the table. The dancing had come down to only a few couples and she pouted, she had wished that Hokyo was here, she wanted to dance before the music was stopped.

Sheena then smiled softly at Ameena, she went forward and wrapped her arms around the girl. She felt so warm, and it made the feeling in her chest feel warm as well. She slowly pulled back and looked at Ameena, "Thank you, my lady...and if you ever need someone, I will be here for you. It makes me happy to know that there is someone that needs me."
She then noticed the few people left and the fewer dancers. She did remember when she first came upon the place that it was the music that drew her there. She then looked at Ameena and smiled, "Would you...like to dance with me? I can see the longing in your eyes and I know that I may not be the one you wish to dance with, but I hope that I can be a good replacement..." she held out her hand to Ameena, smiling softly

Kei sighed softly and rubbed his hand before he turned and glanced at Dark. He could tell the other didn’t know what to think either. So he turned his gaze to Daton once more and frowned “ so what exactly is our purpose? If there is no future for any of us then what are we fighting for? M’lord answer this as well as you can because I am not one to fight for nothing.” He didn’t know what to expect and he didn’t know what to say. All this time he had been fighting for Daton for a purpose of winning and gaining everything but if there would be nothing, then what point is there to fight? Were they just patiently waiting for the end of the world to come? What would happen and how could they stop it. He had always taken pride in knowing when and how he would die with the turn of every table but not knowing, frightened him.
“and what should I do with this power?” he could feel it coursing through his veins. He didn’t want to let it go but he wanted to keep it none the less. He wanted to use it, to do what he wanted and knowing what it was, well he felt like he could use it a little better. Hell he was even considering going back to Hokyo.

Ameena smiled and nodded to the woman, she hated that it wasn’t Hokyo but at the same time how could she turn down such an offer by such a sweet woman. Standing to her full height she was smaller then that of Sheena.
The Capital
Daton smiled, this the moment that he had waited for. “We make those gods take back their throne or at least let them speak with their mother again and there is only one way to do that, we must kill them.” He said loudly to make sure the others heard him well enough. It was a scary thought, to actually kill a good, but he had not mentioned who they were, he would keep that secret to himself. “In fighting with against Hokyo we will kill them, and when the times I will kill the last.” He said calmly, knowing what that entailed. Glancing at Kei he smiled. “Go ahead with your plan, he said calmly.

“My plan?” Kei lookeddown at his hand. Plan, he had a plan right? He watched the little golden and blue strads of electricity move around his hand and he clenched it shut before looking up at the man “I’m going back.” He took a few steps backwards. He knew what he was going to do now. He didn’t know why he knew but he could see a future if he took this path and a future is what he wanted. “I’m going to make him wake m’lord. “ Daton had said something about Hokyo becoming more powerful, manifesting itself into something grater. “To kill someone truly, they have to be at their most powerful…. Forgive me if I die. But any future is better then nothing.” He turned his back on Daton. He had already gotten permission to go through with his plan which meant that Daton knew all along what Kei had planned.
He would fight Hokyo, show him what his own power was capable of and in the way he could wake the real Hokyo up. That was his plan, and now that he understood the power, he felt the pain ease up a little. Lightening, he could feel it crackle around his fist. Perhaps he would die, but if he did then another would take his place. To live for no future was just ludicrous. But to die for a future, well that he could handle. So he left, only this time he knew he would have to ride.

Dark did not sit by for this. He leaped up towards Kei. “You can not do that!” He shouted, he wasn’t made about Kei going to fight Hokyo, but he didn’t want have to lose either Kei or his power for Daton, it would be a silly fight just to awaken a more powerful man then Hokyo already was. His hand had already unsheathed his sword, and was pointing it at Kei. If he could stop the man he would, damaged was better then dead.
Daton sat there as he waved a hand across his face and dark shadows grabbed at Dark’s feet holding him in place. “Dark, your son becoming General was not to replace Hokyo, it was to take the position of Kei if he should die.” He spoke calmly as if he had planned most of this out, it seemed as though the only part of his plan that wasn’t going to his will was Hokyo which is why Hokyo might’ve been a threat to them.
“You can’t!” Dark screamed fighting against the shadow spirits at his feet, but they held too strong of a grip. He swung his sword at the ground, but nothing happened. He struggled until the shadows were up to his knees, and holding him fast.
“Kei the only ones that know about what I tell you is us, I would like it to remain that way, the longer Hokyo doesn’t know any past of himself the longer we have to stand against the people he put together.” Daton said at Kei with a small smile on his face, he feared that he was sending the man to his death, even if Kei could defeat Hokyo it wouldn’t be for long, it would be a moments breath before those past events, those past memories came back and they would face a far worse foe then Hokyo.

“M’lord if you don’t wish Hokyo to know about his past life, then I need to kill the blond woman. She is one of the sub general’s daughters but she poses a threat to your plan.” He wasn’t threatened by Dark he knew this was going to happen. He’d seen this path, many times only he didn’t know how to get there. But here he was. He smiled and placed a hand on his hip before looking back at Dark with that smug look that was so him. “Your son, Dark, if he remains on the same path, he will surpass us all, maybe even lord Daton. Raise him well” He’d seen many things and he had stood beside Dark for so long he felt like that was the closest thing to a brother he would ever have. So he felt that it was his job to tell the man of such an event.
He felt a cool chill at his feet and suddenly he couldn’t move. He turned to see the woman not far from his position. “You plan to leave without a word to me Keishiro?” Kei blinked and looked at the woman. He had not expected her to stop him. But he was there face to face with him. She moved across the ground and pulled back her hand. Before Kei knew what was happening a slap rang out and a red mark appeared on his cheek. He looked at the normally unemotional woman with surprise as something was off about her. Blake had a pained expression on her features. It looked as if she was about to cry. “If you die, I swear I will kill you.” She reached her hand down and Kei tensed for another slap but his shirt was grabbed and he was forced forward. Heated lips met cold ones and then there was nothing.
Blake stepped back as her ice began to form around the man. It was Daton’s order, she would comply. A small storm formed and within moments it was gone and so was Keishiro. Blake looked to Daton and smiled a little pained smile before she began to walk off. “For you My lord I would kill even myself” And she was making her retreat. Weakness was beyond her.

When the storm faded, Kei found himself on the outskirts of Esta. He frowned and rubbed his cheek. Sometimes, even he could not see everything.

Kira found herself looking out into the distance at the temple that seemed just out of reach. That was going to be where they were going to stay, and frankly, this thief knew it would be a promising place. Temples often held artifacts that were rather valuable, and she knew as soon as her eyes set on something sparkly enough, her sneaky hands would want to steal it away all to herself. But, these were Yune's friends, she assumed, and so she would have to try her damnedest to refrain from using her talents. At the thought of this idea, she let out a heavy sigh. Her spirits were somewhat crushed now, but she knew she'd have to endure it.
The platinum haired girl looked over at her companion, her rose an eyebrow at her question. Yes, she had noticed Gizmo's absence, but she wasn't sure exactly what he could be doing. To be completely honest, she didn't mind at all, and so she turned away and continued to follow the blonde. Her arms rose, and she placed them on the back of her head, tilting her head back to rest upon them, and she closed her eyes.
"I'm not sure where the little fluff ball went," She said to the other woman bluntly, "But, he's kinda smart for being such a little guys, so I'm sure whatever trouble he's gotten himself into, he'll find a way to get out of it," She assured the other as she peeked over at her with one eye, the other still remaining closed. She smiled, and then closed her eye once again. Soon, she'd be able to sit comfortably in this little temple, and hopefully have a bite to eat.
-----
The little plush kept his hands covering his mouth as he continued to process the idea of finally having a part of his old self back again. He looked up at the dark haired woman first, and then turned his attention to the man. Sure, he still hated witches for having been turned into this little stuffed animal by one, but this one didn't seem so bad. He wasn't picture perfect, sure. He didn't seem very smart, nor did he seem very educated. But, he was quick on his feet, and ready to help if he was asked to. He knew what he was doing, despite first impressions. It reminded him of someone else he knew. Someone he knew very well in fact. A certain silver haired thief, but he wasn't about to admit such a fact out loud.
After his inner monologue began to die down, he lowered his hands from his mouth, and watched Ray as she took the gift he'd given to her and the blonde earlier out of her bag, and hand it to the witch. Before today, such a gesture would have annoyed him, but he felt he owed this man something, so he let it slide, and nodded his head.
"That's alright, ma'am," He replied to her prior statement. Although he knew the woman's name, his politeness seemed to not allow him to call her by it just yet.
He turned toward the witch, and reluctantly, his little gloved hand was held out toward him. He wanted to thank him, but he wasn't sure how else to do it but just merely... a handshake and a few words? It seemed such an unfitting price to pay for the gift he had been given by this man.
"Words cannot describe how gracious I am to you, witch," The little toy said to him, his arm still outstretched, "But, I promise to one day repay you in full. You have my words, and my word is my honor," He swore.
Now that he could speak, the idea of him accompanying Kira for so long seemed somewhat of a mystery. The way the two spoke seemed completely opposite. She was rude and didn't seem to think about her words no matter who she spoke to. But, this toy seemed to speak with such proper eloquence, it was almost unbearable. The two were obviously completely opposite.

Not knowing what else to say. She wanted to keep up conversation but she didn’t want to get to personal with her. Instead she could only smile a little “How long have you been with Gizmo? The way you two were together, well you looked like you’re family” she smiled a bit because she could see the bond between them. It was almost like how she and her sister were together. She dared not do the comparison again because she was afraid of what the woman might say or thing. She obviously liked being her own person so she would not compare the woman again out loud.
They reached the end of the path and the large temple rested before them. She glanced around for the priest but didn’t’ see him so she just shrugged her shoulders “ The priest said we could have any room we liked so go wild? I’m sure there will be at least one room that fits your fancy.” _____________________________ Kohikri gave a bit of a frown and looked down at the plush’s hand :How about starting with my name. It’s not Witch, it’s Kohikri.” But none the less he took the little guy’s hand and gave a little shake before letting go. He took the gold piece from Ray and looked it over before nodding. He waved his hand and the little necklace floated for a bit before disappearing in thin air. “ I accept your payment. As of right now, my powers are at your disposal.” Knowing that the gold originally came from this Night guy, Kohikri bowed his head a bit to the plush before letting out a yawn.
Ray gave a little laugh and patted the witch on the head “stop trying to act cool Hicky. And Night, don’t call me that it makes me feel old. Just Ray is fine.” She made the bag vanish and glanced towards the door. She wondered if Yune was worried yet. Either way she knew that she would have to make sure to apologize to her later. “Well Night I think we should head back now.”
