Omega's: Of Vodka and memories Varian listened intently as Eli spoke. But before long Varian knew that the subject had changed... or maybe that was how Eli dealt with it. Instead of dealing with the problem at hand... Eli had worried more about the mutant human relations of the world to distract him from what really happened. But Varian knew better than to say anything. As Eli said, to find a passion. This understanding of mutancy being feared was his passion. Varian took refuge in music. After Eli was being helped up Varian just nodded to no one inparticular. As quietly as he had come, he left. Floating into the air, and towards the beach. He had spot a large piece of drift wood aways from the initial bonfire. That was where he sat. Staring out to the ocean who's waves crashed near his feet. He was bare foot, with his pants rolled up. He stared up at the moon trying to find some kind of comfort in the lunar being and its starry companions, but none really came. Was he really that lost, and caught up about his parents that he had locked himself away from trust and love. That didn't seem right. Then he realized he still had something in his hand. Eli's words stuck with him. "Some drink to forget, other to remember." Varian, had not really drank anything other than wine, and he already knew that this bottle was stronger than fermented grapes. ~"To you mom and dad."~ he spoke in his fluent native language of french. Then brought the bottle to his lips and took a drink... a gulp. Far to large for someone not accustomed to drinking anything than the few sips of wine he enjoyed from time to time. The liquid burned as it rushed down his throat. He dropped the bottle out of reaction and began to cough. "Holy... Thats... strong." He managed to breathe between gasps of air, forgetting that no one was around.

The lone Alpha. Vallon sat there waiting for Maddy to return, she had been gone a while and Vallon wasn't about to go chase her down he sat alone on the sandy hill feeling like he didn't belong down there with the party, he never felt right really among these people. Or at least every time he did something went wrong. He sat there watching the moon and listening to all the laughing and fun happening down on the beach. He sighed and looked down at the ocean, he was alone. He assumed at this point Madison was in no hurry to come back, perhaps he had said something wrong or offended her in some way he could never seem to figure out women. Then another thought entered his head what is she was drunk and flirting with other guys down there or something, he gritted his teeth as he continued to think about her making out with someone else. His right arm transformed and he grabbed up one of the bottles and stood and chucked it as hard as he could towards the ocean it flew so far that he couldn't even see it anymore, he grabbed up another and did the same. Vallon never understood the attraction to drinking that people had sure he was Irish but he had gotten drunk once at a young age and did not enjoy it at all and now these idiots where down there on the beach doing it for fun, Vallon growled at the thought and grabbed a flaming log and hurled it towards the ocean it flew through the air lighting up the sky until it plunged into the water. After it landed and the fire went out Vallon flopped onto his butt and exhaled and lay back in the sand, he was past the anger and onto being upset as his arm changed back and he lay there sprawled out on the ground staring at the sky, he didn't say anything he was sure the others had seen the flaming log and would be sure to come up and ask questions. But he wouldn't give them answers, he looked at the bag of food and pulled out the box of Graham crackers, he also noticed the right sleeve of his T-shirt was completely shredded but he did care he lay there looking at the sky and munching on crackers.

இ คჩεɳn இ ტრεჟคKnock em down... roll him around... come on, wait! What the hell?▀▀▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ Aren fell backwards with Jacen's affront, hitting the ground hard, harder than he would have had he been paying attention to the others instead of being all gleeful because there was a familiar face in the outside world. As the blonde boy reared back a fist, ready to deliver a blow, Aren shifted to a smaller size and wriggled free. It would have been a great move, except that he had meant to grow bigger and perhaps even the playing field.
"Gerroff." He said, voice muffled as he twisted himself into an upright position and dusted off the grains of sand that had slipped into the folds of his clothing. Okay. So apparently this guy didn't like strangers, and was a bit protective of Shandra.
Not that he could blame the guy after processing Shandra's reaction, in an effort to recover from being startled, she'd rolled away. Any decent guy friend would rise to right the wrong done to her, especially if the guy appeared to be a stranger. "Yeah.. I'm pretty sure I'm okay." The new Omega said, a bit more brusque than he'd have liked. No, they'd not have known that he and Shandra's friendship dated a few years back, when she'd stayed on the reservation for a few months. Of course he'd not harm her, but teasing her and getting her back for all the times she'd scared him wasn't an opportunity that he'd been able to pass up. Though, she'd later say he cheated, becuase he had at least known that Shandra was around, in the state, on the reservation when she scared the wits out of him.
But for now, he considered it a win. Or, at least, he would have, had a haunting aura hadn't shrouded her. What was wrong with her? Did she secretly hate him now that she wasn't stuck on the reservation, glued to his side while he taught her everything imaginable about living off of the land. Maybe she'd secretly resented him for that? Regardless, he knew well enough that she wouldn't want to be followed. But he also knew her well enough to know that his questions would be left unanswered if he didn't hash it out now. Unless she'd done a 180 with her personality. Doubtful.
His chocolate eyes stared at Jacen apologetically and he shrugged. "Uh.. can we finish your problem with me later?" Aren didn't wait for an answer, but instead turned on his heels and darted after the path that Shandra had left behind.
"Shandra!" He called after her, native american accent still apparent. "Wait up!"
Surely she'd know that he'd meant for the little quip to be humorous, and not cause her to insta-hate him. He grinned at her when he finally caught up and dashed to face her. "Otakó." He used the greeting that she must have heard hundreds of times during her stay in Montana. "Long time no see." Aren said, grinning despite his confusion, and an eyebrow crawled up towards his hairline uncontrollably. "Obviously, you are as suprised as I am to see you. Unfortunately, I think I'm the happier party." He shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant about her attitude. "Why is that?"
Normally he wasn't so direct, but he had learned that with this fire head, "Náápiakii" as he'd called her before, that sometimes you needed to be. ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀

Alpha: Uninvited Guest Isabella walked through the water, her flip flops on the beach as her brow furrowed…She wanted to help with the passed out Leion, with Sophie—And inadvertently Christian and Raine. She deliberately tried not to think of Narcissa and Gideon not far away… Her ears always picked up the soft bass of his voice though. It was habit, and hard to avoid. Though her attention refocused on one group when she heard Alek’s voice rise in anger.
That was never a good sign.
Her eyes followed the glint of red to Jack and Kerrigan fighting in the surf… Another instance that instinct told her to break up before it went too far. Catalina wasn’t particularly prejudice against mutants…But they would be, if something unfortunate happened.
She turned, and saw Alek taking off… Power clearly leaking out of him. She sighed and her feet left the water, and she dried them with her ability before stepping back out onto the sand and into her stylish flip flops. She would do her best and uphold her promise to Gideon not to interfere… But she had taken her chances with their resident ice user before… And had always regretted it. Be it his fault, or her own.
Straightening her top she crossed the beach and followed distantly behind the moody Alpha… She ended up following him through the short stretch of beach and back towards the Condo. The fires grew dimmer and dimmer, and he ears picked up more and more…Her lips formed a thin line as she watched a man enter their home away from home. In the distance she caught a flash of white slipping back into the guest house.
Emma.
Of course the telepath would have noticed. She supposed it would have to be up to her then. She didn’t interfere however, throughout the fight…Until Alek called for her or Evelyn. That she couldn’t refuse—No matter how he had treated her in the past. No matter how much he had left the bonfire intending to pack... He was still hers to punish, hers to protect.
The final ‘please’ to the wind drew her to float from her stationary position outside the Condo to his open window. There wasn’t a screen over them, she knew from her own window in her room… So there was nothing to stop her slim form from slipping inside the dimly lit room, feet landing without sound. She touched Alek’s shoulder lightly, a comforting gesture… Before her jade eyes turned towards the door.
“This is private property, Daniel. You shouldn’t be here… You aren’t wanted here.”, she spoke through the closed door. She didn’t want to pit Alek face to face with the man if she didn’t have to… If he left peacefully, fine. If not… She would escort him. The room was growing colder by the second, despite the effort of the heater to warm it. It gave her goosebumps. She had face down...Awful things. A human was easy.“You’ve two choices… You can leave with your freedom, or Island police can come take you. You are stalking, tormenting, and breaking an entering… Alek decided long ago you are a worthless user… He doesn’t want anything to do with you. I don’t want anything to do with you. We won’t hesitate to send you packing behind bars if necessary.”
What Bella really wanted to know was how the man found their exact Condo so quickly... Where had he gotten his information from? Even parents weren't told...Exactly what house they would be in. And there was a hundred private condo's on the beach, just like this one. Something wasn't right.

Omega: Catalina – Breaking the Bear Hug Kerrigan rolled her eyes as he tore his top off, though she had to admit that wet muscles were a good look for him. The sounds of female cat calls coming from the beach only steeled her expression, the redhead continuing her assault with one goal in mind – he had to learn that he could not control her. She wasn’t the kind of girl to be trifled with, and whether he liked it or not she was not going to be some play-thing only around for his amusement. Their games had always been fun, up until now. That kiss…well, it confused her, and Kerrigan did not like to be confused. It was these thoughts that distracted her, the redhead suddenly finding herself springing back off his stomach only to be grabbed and thrown around like a ragdoll. She hit the water a few times, the hardened sand far from pleasant each time she hit the ground. Thankfully there was enough water to keep any real damage from occurring. She felt her body rolling through the surf, thick wet sand sliding uncomfortably against her exposed skin before she managed to dig her elbow in and steady herself. The redhead got to her feet, a little sore from being thrashed around, but when she saw Jack showing off for the crowd, the redhead capitalized on the opportunity, skillfully maneuvering around him, leaping onto his back and closing her arms around his neck in a sleeper hold. Her legs wrapped around his waist, squeezing to give her leverage on his neck. Not relinquishing her grip on him, the redhead tossed soaked curls out of her face, gritting her teeth to make sure she didn’t lose her grip. On the one hand she wished he would just pass out already so the fight could be over, she would win, and he would learn his lesson. On the other hand, she was glad that he was making this more of a challenge, even if she had a sneaking suspicion he was holding back on some level. Whether it was intentional or not, she had no idea, but that was not going to bother her. Surprisingly, despite her desire to win, she found herself enjoying the chance to get rid of pent up adrenaline, and if the spark that ignited the fire in the first place wasn’t so recent, she might have forgotten why they were fighting in the first place. As if she were glued to him, her body was hardly jostled as he slumped to all fours, her head curling into his shoulder slightly to catch her breath. She felt his hand feeling up her leg, jeans soaked through, and instinctively she tightened them around his midsection, though it was not enough. She felt them peeled apart, her grip giving way as he threw her from him into the surf once more. Her head made contact with compacted sand, an involuntary grunt escaping her as she got to her feet once more. He was still coughing on all fours, though he got to his feet once more, the redhead releasing a slight sigh. Why couldn’t he just stay down so they could go on about their evenings? Kerrigan closed the distance between them, throwing a punch – bad idea. The next thing she knew, his arms were locking her arms at her side, her back pressed against his chest in one heck of a bear hug. It was clear that she would never out-strength him in this kind of situation, so she would have to rely on experience and cunning if she were going to make it out of this one. Regular struggling got her nowhere, and in a moment of frustration, she drew the back of her head back into him, almost as if she were going to give up. Her ribs gave an uncomfortable pop, the redhead feeling her breath beginning to shorten as he pressed against her lungs, greatly diminishing their capacity. There was no way she would ever live this down if she went out, and so the redhead thought back through all the training she had gone through with her brothers. The basics came to mind, and that was all she needed to plan her escape. Reaching up as best she could, her hand closed around his arms, not in an attempt to pry them off, but more to steady herself. Holding her head forward, it was all the leverage she needed to press her backside against him at the waist, drawing the two forward enough where her feet were at least on the ground. Dropping her waist low to gain a sense of balance, the redhead stepped back, wrapping her leg around the back of his knee and sharply pulling forwards, sending both of them to the ground. While she weighed virtually nothing compared to what he could lift, her full weight falling on top of him as the two made contact with the sand and water was less than pleasant, his arms loosening enough where she could slip off of him and to the side. Her chest suddenly expanded, the redhead drawing in a deep breath before she scrambled backwards in a wave, far enough away where Jack wouldn’t be able to grab her and throw her again. A wave washed in, submerging her for a moment before the redhead reappeared above the surf, flopping into a tired sitting position on the beach as she caught her breath. It was clear she was done – too tired to come at him again. One arm draped over a bent knee as her wet curls fell into her face slightly, green eyes searching him to see if he was going to make another assault. She knew what her limits were, and this was it.

Alphas: sounding smart and giving challenges
Hoshi stared google eyed as Leion kissed Jacen full on the mouth. she quickly shook it off though- she hadn't been part of the teams long enough to figure out who was dating whom yet, other then the obvious ones. Hoshi shrugged and then became aware of Wilber speaking to her. "huh?" she responded oh so intelligently while her brain processed what he said. "of course. I want to get out of here too-the acohol smell is starting to make me queasy."she said, realizing it was true even as she said it.
"why don't we race up the mountain?" she suggested, wanting to see his flying skills at their best. "Loser can't fly for six hours" she added, to up the stakes. She turned when someone began to talk to Shandra, blinking as Jacen lept on top of the guy. Hoshi made a mental note to greet him the next day and explain why people were a bit jumpy as the guy wrestled himself from under Jacen and jogged after Shandra, who'd starting walking away. Hoshi turned back to Wilbur. "So, we gonna race or not?" she asked in a teasing tone.

Omega: Up on the Ridge
For the life of her she couldn't understand how the clones worked with Jack. But that was his power and his to understand. She wouldn't expect anybody to understand how her power worked. It just is. It's something each individual gets used to and lives with.
"Drink up then, friend. What we remember no matter in morning," She tipped a bottle to Jack in a mini toast.
Her attention turned back to Eli who seemed to be having a drunken panic attack of sorts with apologies. This, too, made her laugh. Petra was usually classified as the "giggly drunk" whenever she went out. Everything kept her quite content and everything was funny. Often times, she made herself laugh. She looked up at Forellen and introduced them, "Drunk boy here is Eli. She is Forellen. I have feeling he will not remember in morning. You will have to reintroduce yourself, yes?"
She put the bottle she was holding onto down and looked at Eli looking a bit worse for wear herself, "I think you need to slow down, friend.... and we keep you from the edge. You are going to hurt yourself. Hold on."
She melded the now empty tray of alcohol (since most bottles had been drunk or various individuals were holding them) up her left arm. The front of her arm remained un-shielded and fleshy. Gently (or so she thought), she picked up Eli's head from it's uncomfortable position. The metal protected the back of her arm from the jagged rocks so she put it across his shoulders and let him lean back on the soft part without injury.
"Don't need to be in trouble tomorrow from team leader letting you get concussion from rocks."

Beach - Past and Present
The quick walk over to the obscured area had her biting her lip. She could hear his (Peta's) voice calling out to her, telling her to wait. She could even hear that he had been following after her. She had hoped that he'd lost interest in chasing her, like Antonio had after a while, but no such luck. He had always been stubborn...
"I..." she looked away with a guild filled expression as Peta brought up the fact that she probably hadn't appeared very happy.
Change of subjects are always good, at least for her in this situation. It was obvious that years had gone by, but she had no...had he left the reservation? Her eyes glanced over him curiously, almost as though she was expecting him to grow another head.
"Peta...why are you here?"
She moved away from the area that she had been leaning on, inadvertently moving closer to him, as she tilted her head. They were, more or less, at eye level now. Though she suspected that he might actually be maybe an inch taller than her - he should be happy about that now. And there was something...different about him. New. And yet, at the very same time, he was still the Peta she had met when she was Fifteen back in a Blackfoot reservation in Montana.
He was a long way from his home...
"I mean...what...happen--"
Her eyes flickered over the open beach again and she never got to finish her question. Regular people seemed to be affected by something, and as they kind of cleared a hole, as it was, Shandra saw why. Kerri and a large man she'd heard called Jack from the Alphas were fighting. And it seemed that Jack either had the intentions of crushing her ribs...or was --- no, she was pretty sure he wanted to crush the omega. What for...she had no idea...but...
She wasn't going to let Kerri get mauled, even in a play fight, when she was tired...plus...they were freaking out the regular humans around.
"Ummmm...Peta, think you can stay here for a bit?"
She had a teammate to go make sure was alright.
Smiling at him lightly, Shandra nervously tucked some wayward red hair behind one of her ears and moved out of the shadows that she'd been hiding in. She hoped that Peta stayed where he was because it would kind of suck if he got caught in the crossfire. He knew she was a mutant...well, he might have thought she'd been gifted by what the thought their creator was - she just didn't want him to get freaked out by just own different she could be at times.
She actually was kind of hoping she wouldn't have to stop Jack...Bella probably wouldn't be happy with her. But at the same time, as she made her way over to Kerri, Shandra couldn't see where Bella was. Was...something else wrong? Where were the team leaders...who should probably be the ones to make sure a team fight didn't happen?
Leaning down to the fellow redheaded omega, Shandra almost bounced on her hunches.
"You...alright?" Shandra asked Kerri while she was sitting on the beach cautiously, not sure how she'd feel about someone interfering in any of her "fights". "Umm...sorry, I just...you two are kind of freaking the regs out..."
Regs being regular humans of course. Normally she didn't try and use any type of slang like that...but in a place where they were out numbered by regular humans who didn't know they were mutants just yet, Shandra felt it was probably better to try and remind them of that. Kerri's powers weren't noticeable really...but she was sure that if it got out of hand, people were going to find out that Jack could make enough of himself to go around. If Narcissa didn't beat them to the punch line first...

Omega-Issues Issues, might need some tissues. Antonio paused for a minute, unsure whether or not he should speak. He knew he had weaknesses, but that was not something that he wanted others to be aware of, he needed to be perfect. Not because he was being vain, but because his team needed some one perfect around them, someone that they could look up to. He was not vain, far from it, he just wanted to help people be the best that they could be, each in their own way. This time it looked like he was going to have to be honest for the first time since he could remember, he owed it to Sophia. He took a deep breath before talking. "Alright, I will tell you my weakness, but you must promise to keep this between the two of us, there are things about me that I do not want everyone to know." He stopped for a breath. "I know this may be shock you, but I am not perfect. I cannot resist a challenge. You might notice that I leave the Academy from time to time, usually to visit 'family.' Well the truth is that my family is dead, I leave to go do… certain activities that the law frowns upon. Not because I am a 'bad person', but there is something about the thrill of a new puzzle, a new challenge, that gets my blood rushing. But that is not my real flaw.' Antonio took another breath, preparing himself. "I freeze up, during battle. It does not happen all of the time, but often enough so that I know it is not a fluke. Things start getting heated up, and I just black out, I can’t move my body, can't think, I just stand there. Usually it is short, only a few seconds, and I can pass it off as nothing, I have not been so luck lately. When we first ran into the demons, I was paired with another omega to roam the city, she was blind. I was supposed to watch the sky, her the ground. Well the demons attacked us, and I froze. I could not do anything, not even react. I don't remember what happened, all I know is that I woke over half an hour later, still standing there, and she was gone. I have not heard anything about her sense, I don't know what happened to her." "The same thing happened in Limbo. When we were attacked, I blacked out, just stood there. I was an open target, which is how I got this." Antonio lifted his eye patch, Showing Sophia his shame. Over his Left eye was a long red scar. "Luckily we won the battle and I got medical attention in time to save the eye, though I cannot say I am fond of this hideous scar. I will take non violence over my problems every day." He stopped as she brought up the thugs. "They attacked my friends, as such I was obligated not to let them go, but they are barely injured. The police will have them in jail soon enough for shop lifting. Shandra and I believe in fighting for defense, we will not kill or main unless we have to. Sometimes it cannot be avoided, but usually there are other ways. We have learned how to use our powers to disable with minimal harm, something that you can learn to." He looked past her, thinking. "Actually one of them might need the hospital, Shandra does not react positively to people who treat her as if she was a prosti" A gentle hand reached out to brush the hair away from her face. "There is only one thing that is wrong with you as far as I am concerned, and that is you think there is something wrong with you. I do not see it, but I am willing to help you until you are content with yourself. If you waant me to be honest, I think that your problem is self confidence, as you are you make a great x-man, but you don’t see it." "And you are wrong. You do not need to be ruthless, none of us should be ruthless. If someone has told you that is a requirement, not only are they wrong, but they should to see if they really belong in the x-men. Views like that are more appreciated in the brother hood. " "Do I understand why Cissa did what she did, yes, do I agree with it, no. You might not know this, but she is very protective of her omega, and they were threatening her people, so they needed to pay. As I said, understandable, but not necessarily the right reaction." "If you really think that you are to blame, then my advice is to start speaking up. The leaders appreciate your opinion, though they might not always show it." His eyes looked around. "What I can say is this. You and I are not they only ones with problems here, everyone his issues, more than the fact that they have mutant abilities. Shandra cannot eat anything that is not organic, and most medical type things don't work on her, Alek is an alcoholic, Cissa was made into the slave of a demon, and now only expressed herself through violence, Bella has father issues, and those are just the first 4 off the top of my head. What you need to decide is who are you going to let run your life."

இ คჩεɳn இ ტრεჟค - What a warm welcome.▀▀▀ ▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ ▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀ It was weird for him to be called Peta. Six months without even hearing it had caused a distance from his given name. He would have corrected her, told her not to call him "Peta" in front of the others, but her next words floored him. Why was he here?
That hadn't been the reaction he'd wanted, or even imagined. It weren't as though he were a ghost, intent upon haunting her and making her existence miserable. No, he'd hoped for a smile, maybe a kind word, not the abrasive question asking rather bluntly why he was in Catalina with the junior X-teams. Aren played it off, shrugging as if her words didn't bruise his pride. "Relax, Náápiakii." Out of something to do so that he didn't wring his hands in the air out of a nervous habit, the native american shoved his hands into his swimming trunk pockets, allowing them to clench while hidden within the folds of the cloth. "It's not like I followed you here."
Actually, it was a long story as to how he'd gotten here, and he was still figuring out the "why's" for himself. Geeze... what a welcome. I guess I couldn't ask for, a "oh my! Peta! I never expected you to be here! Fancy our paths crossing again! How have you been? He mimicked silently an overly chipper Shandra in his head, mocking what she might have sounded like in a sardonic tone. That was a bit disheartening, to say the least. His pulse had quickened at the thought of having a friend that he'd made before coming into an established ranking system. But she moved closer, and Aren grinned while he recognized her typical tilt-of-the-head/contemplative look. Quietly, he wondered if Shandra realized he was finally taller than she was, when she'd all but towered over him a few years back.
She cut off her next question, the one that would most likely be her trying to cover how rude she'd sounded just a moment before. People were fighting in the beach, and that was more pertinent than her drilling him with brusque conversation. He supposed, she'd ask that question later, and he'd a general idea of what she would have finished the query with: what happened with his tribe?
His attention followed Shandra's, and his gaze fixed on the people having it out near the shoreline. And of course, Shandra asked him to stay put. Like she'd remember to come back, that she'd have the gall to talk to him if he didn't press her for an exchange. No, he knew that she'd leave him there, twiddling his thumbs while she went to sort out a problem that he didn't yet understand.
So when she asked for him to remain behind, Aren shook his head with a sly grin tipping one corner of his mouth up. "Fat chance." He grumbled, falling into a pace that matched her own. "Then I'll never get my answers." The last was completely under his breath, a teeny bit aggravated that she'd think he'd stay away from the action. Who did she think he was? Or what rather, what did she think he was? A timid little mouse?
She spoke to a girl, seeing if she was okay, and Aren glared openly at Jack, disgusted with the man's course of actions, and was a bit peeved that his antics had ruined his chance at a short reunion with Shandra. Getting her to breach that conversation again might take hours, days. "Funny," he said, deadpan voice that indicated that he found no humor in the brawl. "I thought it was customary for a guy to not pick a fight with a girl. What's the phrase, below the button? Below the belt... that's it. Even if she starts it, a man is obligated to walk away." Aren shrugged, and rolled his eyes up to the sky so that his vision wouldn't be plagued by the sight of the b*****d.

Alpha: Pep Talks Her face remained still as he spoke, in several cases neither confirming nor denying her questions. That was answer enough… But he did share his weaknesses with her… And that meant something. Didn’t it. Her stoic expression softened when he mentioned the ‘hideous’ scar on his face…And though she was upset herself, she was always the bleeding heart when it came to others. Gingerly she reached up and touched his cheek, fingertips on the bottom of the scar, unsure if he would pull away. “It’s not hideous at all…It’s just a mark that means you went through something difficult. But it doesn’t detract from who you are…”, Ah, giving others pep talks was something she was comfortable with…Talking about her own insecurities made her nervous and scared. Made her want to run as fast, and as far away as humanly possible. But his fears and imperfections, just knowing them made her feel slightly better. The elder Alpha’s and Omega’s always made her feel so inferior…Not on purpose, but it was hard not to be daunted by stories of fighting dragons and taking down Mr. Sinister a few pegs. They were classic enemy’s from the database that she’d discovered the year prior in a tactics class… Sophie counted her blessings still that she hadn’t become demon chow in the Trophy Room of Belasco’s palace… She didn’t know if she could get through another adventure like that one with her sanity still intact. She still didn’t know what to think about Narcissa…Was she protecting them? Or more specifically, protecting Christian? Or just getting her rocks off on the violence? “ Ah can’t tell Narcissa what ah think—Especially if it counteracts what she’s doing. If it were Isabella…Different story. Ah know what to say to her… Ah wouldn’t have had to say anything to her… Ah guess that’s why Ah’m an Alpha.”, she trailed off lightly, her fingers leaving his face as she looked back down at the ground for a moment… She was just...Tired of trying to be something that she wasn’t. She was lucky her hands didn’t shake when she head a gun, or that she could talk at all in the heat of battle, and without a stutter. She shopped, and listened to old records, and made jewelry, grew plants… She didn’t know how to always keep the persona of Belladonna on. There were times when things were crystal clear…When there was no room for indecision…No room to question herself. When she acted in instinct, things were clear. She looked back up at him, her palms facing upwards as she shrugged sadly… “Then teach me Antonio…Ah’m not having much luck trying to teach myself…Ah want to do this… Ah just don’t know how to keep from losing myself in it… Ah’m afraid that one day, ah’ll be just like your leader…If all the bad things that happen to her, happen to me…Ah won’t care if someone lives or dies.”

Omega: Violence Does Get me Out of Bed
Narcissa listened to him give the sad, tragic story of his child hood… And while pre-Limbo, she might have felt something…Some twinge of hatred for HYDRA for putting a child through such things…Some feeling of pity…She felt nothing. Nothing, because again, she was reminded that she had only been in Belasco’s possession for a week. Maybe two. But to her…It felt like years. She remembered years of hell so clearly that she could still recall the colors of the room she was kept in…The smell of the balm they would use to seal her wounds so they wouldn’t scar. She was utterly silent for several long, pregnant pauses… Lost in thought. In memory. “I hate you for this…”, she mumbled tiredly after a time… Her good hand coming up to rub her temple lightly. The work Emma had done in her head trying to repair the damage often gave her a headache when she delved into past memories. “I really…Really do.”
“What do you want me to say Gideon? What is the point of this? Other than to dredge up things I’d rather forget?”, she spoke harshly, her golden hair glinting like liquid silver in the moonlight—Blue eyes electric. It showed that her light was nearer to the surface, closer to escaping than she would have liked to think. “I’ve always been who I am. And I’ve always hated your b***h of a girlfriend… She plays innocent and good…But I know how often she uses that hypnosis crap to get people to do what she wants.”
“So what is this about? Should I thank my lucky stars I’m not dead—When some days I wish to god I were? Whether you understand or not is irrelevant… You can’t change it, you can’t fix it…I’ve got nothing left to do but endure.”, Narcissa finished off, her gaze leveling on him without shaking. It was firm, her eyes clear as glass… She was gaining some of her usual fire, slowly but surely…Like a train starting up. She wasn’t…Angry with him for wanting her to discuss it…She was angry with him that he hadn’t given her the choice. “And since when do you talk to me in public? Or ever? About our private lives?”, she questioned, sass in her tone, though with equal parts tiredness…So it really just came off as faintly exasperated. Usually he didn’t talk to anyone but Bella…So she must have really been…Acting differently to warrant his attention. It was like she was the Bonnie half of Bonnie and Clyde and someone had sent the sheriff after her… The Omega leader really was just…Tired. It was a constant fight… A constant battle with herself, and most people around her. She wanted to care about Cosmo… And about relationships and clothes and all those inane things that made life what is was…But she couldn’t. All she focused on was the next fight. And who’s life she could take, when. It was the only way she could let all the cold rage she felt burning deep inside...Every moment, every minute it ate at her...Devouring any good intentions. It left her wanting to cause pain to others, to make them feel small, and helpless...In the long run...Most Omega's wouldn't notice any difference...But they hadn't had any real experience with her since being back on the field...It would be dangerous when that happened. And she knew it was a certainty...That they would fight again soon. Not an If...Simply a when. She hated waiting.

Omega: Catalina – Omega Rally On some level, Kerrigan was glad when Shandra came to her side, looking at her fellow Omega redhead perched on the balls of her feet in the sand next to her and laughing softly. The concern was rather touching, even if she didn’t really need it. At least it meant that she had an excuse not to continue the fight if he came after her again, but she had a feeling he wouldn’t launch another assault if she was down. “ Yea, I’m fine,” she said in response, giving her a grateful smile. Kerrigan was not one to let others interfere, but as far as she was concerned, the fight was over, and neither of them had really won. They were equal in almost every way, compensating for the other’s weakness with their own strength. Normally, she would be furious with herself for not having a clear victory, but with this situation, she felt like things were a little different. No one could say she was weak after some of those moves she made, and they definitely couldn’t say she backed down. What they could say was that she has one hell of a temper, and that can blind her from the implications of many of her actions. When Shandra mentioned that they were freaking people out, the redhead quickly looked around, trying to make sure that there was no one person in particular that seemed bothered. She had honestly forgotten about that aspect of things – she and her powers often looked so normal compared to others that she often forgot what she might look like from an outside perspective. Hopefully they thought she was nothing more than a super athletic redhead that didn’t take crap from people. Getting to her feet, Kerrigan gave a slight grimace from general soreness in her body, but for the most part she felt pretty good. Of course, when the adrenaline died down she was going to feel every sore muscle in her body. At least she got some sort of work out in today after all. Turning her attention to a boy that apparently accompanied her team mate, Kerrigan saw his look and words towards Jack, her attention flitting to the giant once more before turning back to the newbie. “ Hey, lighten up. He might be an idiot and actually started it, but I’m just as guilty in provoking him afterwards. Besides, I would have been even more upset if he backed down. Look, I appreciate the chivalry and all, but just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I can’t take care of myself. Fighting is what I’m good at, and my gender should have nothing to do with how I’m treated in a scuffle.” How very feminist of you. Good job at sounding like a complete idiot, Kerri. Her green eyes moved to Jack as she finished standing up for him, though she didn’t say anything. She was torn between still being mad at him for being insensitive and giving him a big hug for being able to keep up with her in an actual fight. His next actions would determine whether she forgave him or not for being an a*****e. Until then, she felt perfectly justified in pretending he wasn’t standing there, even if she just stuck up for him in front of a guy she didn’t even know. Turning to Shandra, she tossed wet curls out of her face, wringing them out with her hands. Her whole body was soaked through, white shirt, corset, jeans and all. That was going to get uncomfortable rather quickly. “ So, Shandra want to introduce me to your friend?” Her eyes moved from the girl she already knew to the Native-American looking boy lingering to the side. She could pretty easily guess that he was not a native, and that left the option of a new student she had yet to meet. Seemed like they were getting an awful lot of newbies lately, not that she minded. More moves to draw from in a pinch.

Omega - Foot, meet mouth. Enjoy the taste of boot leather?
Christian kept on dancing away, trying to keep his mind off of things. Though the harder he tried, the more things kept staying at the forefront. Such as it was, that was how things were with him. When something bothered him immensely, he just couldn’t get rid of it or shake it away.
While Raine and himself danced away, he was sure to notice the shimmer she was exuding. Not only that, he could feel the slow leeching of energy towards him. It wasn’t too intense, it was nothing compared to what he was hit with when Cissa blasted him earlier in the evening, but he knew that if he kept in close proximity with Raine for an extended period of time… he’d overload and pass out. Something the solitary beer he had could not be blamed on.
“Glad I could help out,” he said to the brunette as she took a long swig of her soda. The influx of energy coupled with the alcohol in his system was making him feel a tiny bit woozy, like he was walking on a cloud. Lesson learned, he thought to himself. Absorbing energies and alcohol just didn’t mix. His dancing slowed slightly when she took a step closer to him. With an eyebrow raised in curiosity, Christian wondered what that was about.
“Yea, I know…” Christian’s words trailed off slightly as he took in what Raine had said. She always did have an open ear that he remembered, even in the haze that was beginning to cloud his mind. Even through that haze, he offered a reassuring smirk. “You should know me better than to…” He watched Raine’s gaze focus on something behind where they were then immediately back to him. The look in her eyes told the whole story.
“Is it really that apparent?,” Christian asked Raine as he stopped dancing, not wanting to completely tire himself out. As it was, it seemed that the music was starting to wind down slightly much as it looked like the party itself was. He sighed as he stood himself upright and slid his hands into his jeans pockets, doing what he could to try and wipe the expression off his face. It didn’t do much, as Raine kept looking at him intently…
He let his eyes look towards the ground, but didn’t turn away. Christian knew what he wanted to say, but didn’t know how to. Unluckily for him, the alcohol coursing through his veins didn’t stop him from talking. “I’m just… bothered by this… by what feelings I have for someone.” Christian didn’t need to say who it was, he was sure Raine already had it figured out. “It’s not like I never had girlfriends back home, but… it was nothin’ like this. I didn’t care, honestly. It was mostly to keep up the whole jock/cheerleader thing goin’ on that usually happens in high school.”
“Kinda freaks me out that I care this much,” he said, his voice quieting slightly. “And I don’t know how to say it… or even if I should.” Christian’s let his gaze meet Raine’s again. “More worried about scarin’ her off… ruining what friendship is there.”
Almost as soon as the words fell from his mouth, he felt his face redden up slightly. He was truly embarrassed about just opening up like that, normally he wouldn’t say a word to anyone. Christian would just keep things bottled up inside, that’s how he handled things. Maybe it was the offer of a listening ear or maybe it was the solitary beer that he had that caused him to open up. “Sorry ‘bout that…,” he said while looking off into the fires, “Should’ve kept my mouth shut.”

Omega - Warmer Waters
Carlos half smiled with her response to his quick lie. It was too easy, but he let himself feel like he accomplished it regardless. He floated still deep in thought while she mentioned tha he had to name his prize. Considering there seemed to be no boundary this time he considered waiting until it was thought it. His initial request was just silly and random. If he figured it out by tomorrow then he'd let her know. The water shifted coming up to where he could take notice and he looked over at Evie who was standing and motioned for him to do the same. Her comment threw him off abit and he just followed. When they were together and her guiding him to move as one he saw what she was trying to get at. It wouldn't work just like that. But he'd help and try if only so she wouldn't be disappointed.
He could see the glow around people, it took abit of concentration for his eyes to adjust and see, but it was practiced. He could see the darkness around himself. and as it was, he needed to shrink and suppress it further. It was tedious and detrimental. Sneaking around wasn't easy with a power that causes paranoia in people. He felt it get pulled in, and his face cringed abit with effort. so he had trouble following the direction about breathing. His power was like a leaky facet. And now that he withdrew it completely he was abit uncomfortable with a pressure he was unaccustomed to. He opened his eyes if only to ignore the images such compression brought.
The fish began to get closer and nipped at him just as he did what she instructed. He remained quiet trying not to disrupt his concentration or ruin the odd yet feel good moment that was passing. After several minutes he broke off from her and the fish causing them to scatter as he backed up to lean on rock arms spread out. With a deep breath he released his power back to it's normal seeping state. " I'll hopefully come up with a prize by tomorrow. So many things that could be done." He sighed and took a deep breath as looked around. He pulled himself up out of the water and took the next eight steps into the next pool before lowering himself in. Warmer with a bit of steam visible from the caves cold air he relaxed further feeling tension leave him.
He'd not tell her why he was tense, stress aside the little closeness they had was abit unbearable for some reason, mainly his mind fighting two sides of logic and his body not being outnumbered with his heart on vacation. " It's warmer over here. Don't have to disturb or worry about little friends..." He called out not entirely sure weather it would be interesting to her or not. He leaned back and closed his eyes. He could fall asleep here if at some point he wouldn't fall over and choke on water. Hopefully the heated water would keep her senses too busy to keep registering the other little details they could pick up from him. Continuing on that train of thought he had to wonder how hot it actually was for him to tell. He was always cool, and cold bothered him. In the end he had no clue. It was an instinct of some sort.
